So, you have. this, you know, we're so pro Jesus, but.

at the epicenter of it, they feast on. cruelty, recreational cruelty. And there. is a lot of hellfire, damnation in this. movement. Very punitive. And if you. think about this psychologically, their. god that they worship, if they think a. bad thought like, did Noah really put all those animals on. the ark? That sounds kind of crazy. They're told that's a sin. You're not. being loyal to God and God will punish. you. So they worship a punitive God. So.

a reaction to that psychologically is. for them, they themselves, to be. punitive. So, here we have the great. American speaker, Lion Ted Cruz, talking. about Democrats. And in the background, some people in the audience talk about. they need to be shot about Zoron. They. need to be shot about Abdul Elsad. And. listen to the cheering and watch lying. Ted who claims to be this big Jesus guy. hear this violence about people with.

we're going to get your gas to go under. $6 if you're a diesel driver. What they. do is they name call and they spew hate. And they do that under the guise of. Christianity because I went to a church. my whole life growing up where all. through the sermon we're going to love, you know, love poor people. We're going. to help sick people. And then the minute. they went outside, it was your job to. judge and condemn people that were. different than you. You are not allowed. to have thoughts about other people nor.

respect their other religions, their. life choices. That's exactly what. Christian nationalism is. They want to. tell everybody in the United States of. America, we know who God is. You don't. Your religion isn't equal to my religion. because mine is better. And that is. something that starts from jump. I. remember it. My first thoughts, that's. how it was. And so Ted Cruz, who is the. most vile human on planet Earth, gets up.

there and lies and scares. and then he wants to run out and tell. you what a Christian he is because this. is what they do in church. And Pumps, I couldn't agree more. And to. elaborate on on your point, the the. things that they're saying and doing at. this convention, and it's a great. example of the Republican tactics. So. you see this overarching theme of. religion, right? you see this. overarching theme of having a boogeyman, of having Taler Rico, of having uh.

Mandani, uh whoever, and that's all they. focus on because they can they can tap. into that emotional uh base of their. people that can that will resonate with. them, that will rally them. But what's. missing at this convention, and you. pointed this out too, Pumps, is that. there's no discussion of policy. There's. no discussion. There's no video about. all of the achievements of President. Trump during this administration. You.

know that if you created all these jobs. or if you did all these great things, you would want to celebrate that. You. would want to celebrate these policies. You don't have any of that. Instead, you. have this grifter yesterday that. we talked about. He's so far down that. he's having to beg or tell the American. people that, "Hey, I'll put five grand. in your pocket. All of you. I don't give. a who you are. Everybody, if you'll. just go vote Republican and give us. another term. Well, everybody is. Republican. House, Senate, President, Vice President, Supreme Court's in the.

tank. Like, why do you have to do that? Because you have no policy. You have. zero policy to run on. And that's the. message here. Take all the religious. Take all of the boogeyman. theories. It's still not policy. >> And I want to add to this, and this is. really important. Um Stephen Miller and. this Trump regime have a national. security memo that is um seeking. pre-rimes and it is basically people.

like us on the left that they say are. Antifa and that we are domestic. terrorists and engaging in violent. rhetoric. The purpose of this national. security memo is to erode civil. liberties and to start making lists of. Americans. Lists. Where do we know that. from in history? And right there, that. is the violent rhetoric that always. comes from the right. And I want to. remind everybody on this anniversary of. 9/11, that we all lived in Oklahoma City. when a right-winger named Timothy McVey.

blew up the um uh federal building, the. Alfred Peame. And I remember, and y'all are going to. remember this too, terror in the. heartland. Terror in the heartland. And. we have to stamp out this. What's so. fascinating to me, a psychological case. study on all of this, is you would think. the people of Oklahoma. would have made it their number one goal. to stamp out right-wing terrorism and.

right-wing extremism. To the contrary, they vote for it. To the contrary, they. listen to Ted Cruz say that and they. hear, "He needs to be shot. He also. needs to be shot." and they think, "Yeah, because these people never learn. a lesson or because Timothy McVey was. white, it's okay." And so they are using. xenophobic tactics as both of you. touched on on particularly Mom Donnie. and Elsa, but also they always are.

trying to lump Taler Rico in with this. who is who is essentially one of their. own. He just isn't brainwashed and in a. cult. But the violent rhetoric, these are the same people that took a. in the capital and beat up cops. And so this whole national security memo. that just uh Ken Clippenstein is the one. independent journalist that covers it. quite extensively. But they have really. uh it's a real policy of projection. because all of the violent rhetoric.

every FBI has said is on the right. The. right-wing has the problem of this and. it dates back to Timothy McVey and these. people don't learn a lesson from this. because they feel entitled to it. They. feel entitled to be able to uh commit. crimes with impunity. And then of course. our vice president uh smoky sociopath JD. Vance who I always want to remind the. viewer is married to an Indian woman and.

has mixed race children. He brings the. racism [clears throat] to the this Trump. palooa. Play the clip. >> And the criminals given free reign over. our great country. And we were tired of. being called racists for noticing that. our country was becoming dirtier and. poorer and less safe and less. prosperous. [screaming]. It. >> that's remarkable. JD Vance is standing. right there throwing his wife and his.

kids under the bus. He is speaking to a. group of white people that see brown. children, brown women, and brown men as. dirty. Exactly what he described. And he. just picked up his family and his. offspring, wadded them up. transactionally, and threw red meat at a base that will. never be satiated. You can keep continue. throwing racism now until the end of the.

their lives. They will never be satiated. with it because they are broken. That is. absolutely breathtaking. That level of. racism and that level of betraying your. own kids. >> And I I I agree completely with. everything that you said. And one thing. that clip shows is that there's. absolutely nothing that's off limits for. these guys. Whether it's your family, whether whether it's it's whoever you. care about, like they don't care. They. don't for him not to to have a little.

more perception of this issue with his. wife and and this blatant racism I think. just typifies, you know, this party. And. to your earlier point, Jennifer, with. the uh right-wing militia with Timothy. McVey, um you know, that dates back also. to the Kulux Clan, this white supremacy. Oh, yeah. This uh white militia, >> terrorism. >> Terrorism and and to a certain extent. what they preach at this convention and. the the acquiescing and and being. complicit with these violent threats.

that are being made to Ted Cruz and not. calling that out, you know, that's. borderline. They're getting to be where. I would think in my mind these. right-wing Christian nationalists. are a terrorist organization in my. opinion as the way they treat. marginalize and and. discriminate against marginalized groups. in this country. I have no doubt in my. mind at least that that that's that's. true. >> I completely agree. pumps.

Christian nationalism and how dangerous. it is and it is it is terrifying because. you know in the on the coast people just. kind of think these people are nuts. whatever but it is so ingrained in these. people [snorts] and because of the. indoctrination of Christianity that you. are entitled to judge other people. You. as a white person are entitled to judge. brown people, black people, poor people.

It is your divine right, which is how I. was raised. So, I know this to be true. [snorts] And then you can take it across. every single uh person, every. marginalized group, everybody that's not. you because you are entitled to judge. someone and make them what you want. because you are better. And that in my. life experience happened at church. And. that's why you see such a marriage. between MAGA Christian nationalism and.

all of this hate and just disgusting. behavior. >> that and the Republican party. brilliantly year decades ago started. injecting themselves into the church. um. they they they have been playing the. long game here for the court, which they. got. And you know, for a party that we. see right now that's so impulsive and so. shortsighted, their predecessors were um. very much playing the long-term game.

Look at how old and dead Mitch McConnell. is now. He was a part of this. He was a. part of the minations of growing the. Republican party, which what is the. number one deterrent to know if people. vote? church attendance. >> and it was brilliant on their part. And. to Josh's point, a lot of these churches. have um KKK roots, particularly in the. South. And what's terrifying for the. three of us is what I always thought was. French when I would go to church on the. weekend with a friend in high school.

that was trying to recruit me and hear. all this hellfire, damnation, all this. hatred from the pulpit. That fringe is now in the federal. government. We have got people talking. in tongues. >> in the federal government. We have a. speaker of the house that claims that. God wakes him up in the middle of the. night and says, "Hey buddy, wake up. You're Moses." That is. bananas. There is not a planet that that. is normal. Crazy people think they hear.

the voice of God. That is not a normal. thing to wake up and go, "Hey Josh, guess what happened last night? God woke. me up." And he was like, "Wake up, sis. You're Mary. You are Mary. You're a born. again virgin, sis. That's y'all would. go, Jennifer, what is going on with you? But this goes on in the media and. everybody normalizes not just the crazy. from Trump, but all of the people. around him. And then I just want to. conclude that, you know, back to my. theory that Trump is in his deathbed.

confession era and um is showing signs. of a lot of bisexuality, which we. support all of the letters of the LGBTQ. plus community. We just do not support. the hypocrisy. These people. who were not kept safe by their. governments and um as a reaction to that. caused far more death and far more. damage. And all of that came from the. party of family values with a lot of.

votes from Democrats afterwards that. were like, "Yeah, let's go in there.". And um it just it's it's just a really. really sad day for all of us to. remember. And the Republican party uses. 9/11 as propaganda. They don't give a. about the people who have long-term. suffering from that or the people who. who died.
