The problem with so many white voters is. they don't give a about anything. until it happens to them personally. There's a fellow by the name of John. Gannon, a lifelong Republican, and now. he regrets voting for Trump because his. fiance, Jasmine, was arrested in the Houston George Bush. Airport. Play the clip. >> I feel I feel totally betrayed. I mean, you never think or I never thought a guy.

like me would ever be involved in. anything like this. Eight officers, ICE agents, swarmed. Jasmine, detained her, didn't tell us why, and rustled her off. into a car. No explanation was given. I. I was just in total disbelief. Nothing. like this has ever happened to me. You know, I have several businesses, I'm. law-abiding, and I pay a lot of tax.

>> All right. He feels betrayed. Um I just have a hard time having. empathy for people who. engage in the practice of recreational. cruelty when it doesn't affect them. And. then when it affects them, they're. outraged and just shocked as that. how could this happen? I own businesses and I pay taxes. I'm. supposed to be better than everybody. else. And furthermore, I'm not letting him off. the hook because I remember the 2024.

election pretty clearly, and it was all premised on mass. deportations now. Um only an idiot, only an absolute idiot. would think. that when it comes to the racism of. MAGA, that they would exclude Jasmine. Because for MAGA, anybody from a Latin. American country, or as Trump likes to. call them, countries, it. doesn't matter who your fiance is, doesn't matter how hot you are, Jasmine.

They're going to come for you. That's. the situation with these politics. None. of us are free until all of us are free. And now John, because Jasmine's liberty. has been taken from her, now he doesn't. feel free. And so at 70 something years. old for the very first time in his life, he is realizing what has been happening. in the United States. for decades to black and brown people, over policing in black neighborhoods, etc.

And he's not the only one that feels. betrayed. A lot of Trump voters are. feeling very, very betrayed. and they see the way he behaves in such. a cruel way, the arrogance in thinking that he's. going to have some sort of compassion or. policy. towards you. is just really a cultural problem within. the Republican Party. The Republican. Party has been able to get the people. that are just seen in those clips. to go out and vote against their own. economic interest because they scare the. out of them with lies. The. immigrants are coming after you. The.

gays are coming after you. The drag. queens are coming after you. Books are. coming after you. The school teachers. are coming after you. All of that is a pathological. lie and it's propaganda. The people that. are coming after you. are the people that are in the. Republican Party and to an extent. corporate Democrats as well. Because we have uh not a democracy here. We have a country that services. corporations first and foremost in both.

parties. And that's why you're seeing. these uh breakaway candidates. like Zohran Mamdani, Abdul Sayed. You. see them breaking away from all of this. corporate control and the people like. it. But the people that don't like it, that. want to preserve that system are having. a state five meltdown on both sides cuz. they're terrified. They're terrified. that middle America is going to find out. who the real boogeyman is and the real.

boogeyman is not the brown-skinned Abdul. or the brown-skinned. uh um uh Zohran. The real boogeymen are. white, crusty, pink-arm Republicans like. Donald Trump, Stephen Miller, Jeff. Bezos, uh. Elon Musk. These are the people that. don't give a about you. They never. have and they never will. The com- the. whole communist scare is total. These people, every single time they.

have the keys to the car, they drive it. off a cliff. No matter who the. Republican president is, they do it time. and time again. Yet, so many Americans. say, "Well, I got to vote my pocketbook.". Well, your pocketbook at the end of a. Republican presidencies is always a. disaster, always. Everything always. happens according to script. They cut. taxes on the rich, which increases and. balloons the national deficit. They. start wars, which increases and balloons.

the national deficit, which exacerbates. inflation. It's a show. It's FUBAR. beyond all comprehension, and the. parasites at the top keep sucking, keep. sucking, keep sucking off of it, and. they blame. the people who absolutely can't suck off. of anything for all of the country's. problems. Meanwhile, think about it like. this, you guys. Walmart, Amazon, the people at the very top that make.

hundreds of millions of dollars, they. want to say, "Oh, these poor people are. welfare queens. These poor people are on. SNAP benefits." You think people that. are on welfare and SNAP have it so good? The narrative needs to be these. corporations need to pay their workers a. livable wage. The. income gap is so grotesque. Yet, the Republicans are brilliant, and. it pisses me off, you or it really. pisses me off, but they're brilliant at.

propaganda, which is then makes all of. my ire go to the Democratic Party. What. are we explaining to them? Are we. explaining that these corporations are. the parasites? Some in the Democratic. Party do, but there's also corporate. Democrats who service these corporations. in a lighter way, and not such an overt. way, but in a more passive insidious way. than Republicans do. One could argue that one of these guys. is Hakeem Jeffries. Now, I want to say.

this. There's some stuff I like about Hakeem. In general, I feel like he's a little. bit too bought and paid for. Generally, I feel that. I feel like he, you know, takes money from Big Tech. He. takes money from AIPAC. Um, and I think that leads him to be. somewhat broken when it comes to. governing honestly and earnestly. But, if we win the House, which they're going. to cheat, they're going to do all sorts. of things to prevent it from happening,

but hopefully we win. Hopefully this. tsunami is real. Um, Hakeem will be the Speaker of the. House, and we the people, it's going to. be our job to push these corporate. Democrats. to the progressive side. And when I say. progressive, I'm not talking about. anything other than not being. prostitutes, not taking money from. corporations. Well, you know, Trump and the Republicans, they like to uh act 10-ft tall and. bulletproof at all times. Like, we're. going to win the midterms, we're going.

to win midterms. I thought this clip was. rather interesting. Here is Trump. talking about Hakeem Jeffries, who would. be the Speaker of the House after the. midterms if the blue wave um. you know, expectations manifest. And. let's let's take a listen to this. >> I think he's a nice guy. I mean, I did. He was here. >> Yeah. >> We had a good meeting. It was a you. know, look. >> He's harsh on you. He says, I mean, >> Well, he's harsh cuz I'm harsh on him, you know. I'm sure he wouldn't be so. harsh. I've said bad things about. >> do business with him, do you think?

>> Yeah, I think so. Look, the people are harsh on me, I'm harsh on. them. It's part of the the world. You. covered very well. You covered. specifically Congress. You see a strange. group of people. >> Could you do business with him? He could. do business with a dead pig if the dead. pig said, "Hey, you're hot." I mean, this is just unbelievable how normalized. Trump becomes in the media. But, nonetheless, this is an interesting um.

admission. But, Trump's too. too stupid to realize he just admitted. that basically if the blue wave stands. and everybody has internal polling, um, Hakeem would be the speaker of the. house. And I hope that the Democrats. go full tilt on this guy. I hope that. Hakeem's, um, conflicts, and he has. conflicts of interest, and we have to be. really honest about that. Um, when you're taking money from AIPAC and.

AIPAC prefers, uh, MAGA to win because. MAGA doesn't give a about war. crimes. Um, that to me is a is a conflict of. interest that I have a lot of. problems with. But despite all of that, where we are right now, it's going to. take a lot of progress to get. corporations completely out of politics. And we're going to have to accept some. candidates and victories like Hakeem. Jeffries, but we the people have to push. these corporate Dems to the will of the.

people because if we truly are a nation. where the people have the power, we must. show our power and our will not only to. the opposition, which I think. Republicans need to be stamped out and. destroyed on every single front. I'll. take a corporate Dem over a MAGA. Republican any day and twice on Sunday. But we have to let every politician know. we want the corporations out of.
