IHIP News: Mike Johnson SLAMMED with MORE BAD NEWS at RNC! Trump SLAMS Erika Kirk?!
It's been one year since Charlie Kirk's. assassination and not one Republican has. spoken about something that could pre. could have prevented his death and that. is gun gun reform, gun control. Of. course, none of them want to talk about. that, but they want to propagandize and. weaponize his shooting. And nobody that. cares about him seems to want to talk. about the problem that this little MAGA. kid from Utah, the alleged shooter, had. access to guns. And in America, you can. just take that onto a campus and shoot.
somebody. It's absolutely horrific, completely preventable death. And as I. say that, I also say at the same time. that Charlie Kirk espoused racism, homophobia, was really on the worst side. of the political spectrum, was not about. inclusivity. He was all about. exclusivity and further marginalizing. the marginalized. But of course, his. grieving widow, Erica, is at the. Republican convention. Let's play the. clip. >> Thank you very much. And thank you,
Erica. And I think Erica is going to be. here tomorrow, too. She's put up with. something. Boy, oh boy. What she's had. to go through and most beautiful family. It's just terrible. But. love, tough life. Tough life. Can't let. it. >> He just drips with empathy and. sincerity, doesn't he? It's just like it reminds me of when. when JD Vance sat down with Usha for the. podcast. Hey, how [laughter] you doing? Know it's just they try to do these real.
human things and they're they're. incapable of it. Trump is very incapable. of that. And I just think it is such an. indictment on the Republican quote. pro-life party that nobody speaks about. gun violence. And that is at the core of. what killed Charlie Kirk. And he died. talking about it. >> It's just it's stunning to me. >> I I will remind you though that that. group of people, they all oppose. homosexuality and Grinder is having an.
outage right now. So the fact that they. live in this world of hypocrisy uh and. refuse to. >> to acknowledge truth doesn't uh surprise. me anymore at all. >> All right. And Trump's convention had a. JD Vance. Erica Kirk level turnout. Pop. this up. >> For those of you listening and not. watching, um, this is a video from a. journalist that was there. >> There are a lot of empty seats. A lot. Um, and as satisfying as it is for us to.
see the empty seats, I want to remind. you all of this. In the uh 2024. election, Trump's uh uh rallies, a lot. of them had a lot of empty seats and. Kamla's were full. So this means. absolutely. nothing. We cannot look at the polls and. go, "Oh, this this poll has us up. This. betting market has us up. These pundits. have us up. You know, Cook Political has. moved this to here." And nobody showed.
up at the Republican National. Convention. We've got this. We cannot. think that way because they are going to. lie, cheat, steal. From our other. episode today, they're offering $5,000. to Americans if Republicans win. They're. bribing. Um, so don't look at too much. in to crowd sizes. Of course, it hurts. Trump, but but he lives around people. Natalie Harp will completely go, "Oh, that was a lie. That video was a lie. Here's a new uh video footage." And.
they'll show him video footage of a. Rolling Stones concert. And he'll. believe it because he wants to. You [snorts] know, the thing about it is. every time I feel like we're moving. towards the spellbreaking. going back as, you know, the Epstein. file, I mean, just in this. administration alone, the Epstein files, the uh slush fund, the DOJ slush fund, uh, American citizens dying, at the end of the day, while I know it.
causes narcissistic injury to Trump and. I am part of the problem. I like that. because I know he can see it. [snorts]. But at the end of the day, the fact that this man with these bad. policies and [snorts] these lies and. these scandals continues to have anybody. at these conventions after the damage he. has done to the United States globally, at home, all the things changing names.
of of bodies of water to distract us. from the Epstein files and war. [snorts]. To me, even the fact that we have part. of the cult there goes to Josh's larger. point in an earlier episode [snorts]. that the problem is it it's it runs so. deep. It runs so so deep that these. people are sacrificing food for. medicine. they can't afford gas and they.
will still support a man that lies to. them because that makes them feel good. about their cruelty and hatred for other. people. It it really is an indictment on. the American citizen. I think. >> it is and it's an indictment on all of. the people that are propping up this. autocrat. Um we have industry titans who. immediately went and propped him up. There has been little resistance from. the systems that are a part of the.
American body at large. We don't have. corporations resisting. And Trump 1.0 we. did. And he brags about that. Nobody. would talk to me when I was first. president. Now they're all kissing my. ass. And so you have news channels from. Fox News, which is straight up. propaganda, to now CBS, which is. straight up propaganda at the helm of. Barry Weiss and the Ellison's. And then. you have, you know, they bought Tik Tok. You have uh Elon Musk that controls X. You have Mark Zuckerberg that controls.
uh Instagram. The platform we're on. right now, YouTube, uh Trump sucker. upers. And it it's it's larger than just. these people doing it because a. permission structure in our entire. culture has said, "Oh, we're all going. along with this." they have okayed it. And that has has been the difference in. Trump 1.0 and Trump 2.0. When you see. that Jimmy Kimmel and uh South Park and.
us and all of the other independent. media on YouTube right now have more. balls than the richest people that are. in charge of the richest, most powerful. companies in the world. and they all. went and sucked up to this guy. I mean, that just starts putting nails in the. coffin. And authoritarian experts say. this is this is the worst sign of all. When they all rushed to the inauguration.
for the historians that was like, "Oh. shit." Because they are they are giving. a permission structure. We're okay with. this because we think he's so great with. money and so we're fine with this. The. resistance has just always been the. American people and Trump 2.0. I I think. one of the things as it relates to these. corporations is Trump plays a different. game too to where everything is a quit. proquo. So he's telling Apple, he's. telling these bigger companies, if you. don't do this, then this is what I'm.
going to do. And unfortunately for those. companies, it requires that you have. balls, that you stand up, that you fight. for something because he's not, you. know, he operates differently. He. doesn't just let you say no. He lets you. say no with a consequence. And and it's. that part that these companies have. capitulated to. It's the consequence. part of them having to stand up and. fight and potentially face adverse. consequences to do the right thing. And. that's disappointing when they have the. resources to do the right thing. Now, back to the clip. Um I don't want us to.
have this false sense of hope because. that stadium's not filled. How many. times have we seen that in 2024? Kla. Harris's convention. loud, cool hip-hop. music packed 2024 convention, it looked. like that rat stuff. Same thing. And we all thought, "Oh boy, we got. this." Well, no. You got to get out and. vote and you got a message and you got. to have good candidates, too, that. resonate. Unfortunately for us, we put. up polarizing candidates sometimes. Uh.
let's not do that this time. People go. vote. Vote Democratic. >> Okay. And then we have the uh the. weakest man that has the most power that. I've ever seen in my life. And I'm. talking about of course little Moses. Mike on theme tonight. Grinder Johnson. Um this guy's speaker of the house. Um. this guy is um I believe in a state of. religious psychosis to cover up for deep. deep skeletons. And that's just my. opinion. Um and he goes on TV last.
night. This big Christian man who talks. about his faith non-stop, monitors his. son's porn use, marries his own daughter. at a purity ball to take her virginity. to keep safe until he then gives it to. her husband for him to take because this. guy is that nutty. He goes on TV last. night to lie about the crowd size. Play. the clip. [snorts]. >> Looks like a pretty good turnout for. this event tonight. The president set to. speak in just a little bit. Is that. arena pretty much full?
>> Yeah, it's it's full. I'm I'm looking. around. I think every seat all the way. to the rafters is full and there's a. long line of people trying to wait to. get inside. So, uh this is the place to. be. First ever, as you noted, first ever. midterm convention for the Republicans. I think we're going to put on a good. show here. You know what I love about. >> So, there's the guy that actually. supposed to be one of the guard rails. Here's a guy that if you look back to. the Nixon scandal, um, Watergate, the.
Republicans are the ones that held the. line. They are the ones that said, "You're bringing our party down. You're. bringing our country down. Resign or. we're going to impeach your ass." Little. Grinder there, he is just like, "What. are my orders? What can I do for you. today, sir?" Because he is a submissive, obquious assisser to his core. that um. it this is a symptom when we have. authoritarian religions, authoritarian. parents and then authoritarian.
governments. And all of those three. things are very connected. A lot of. people say, "How can Americans support. this? How can Americans support this?" A. lot of these evangelical people were. raised with very authoritarian parents. Iron ruled with an iron fist. My way or. the highway, you will never disrespect. me. You cannot disagree with me. If you. disagree with me, that's disrespect. So. that that sets the psychological soil. for these people to fall prey to. authoritarian leaders because it's.
comfortable for them. It's comfortable. um uh being submissive to insanity. It's. it's it's it's something that's familiar. to them. And this is how crazy. these people are. I'm going to play you. all this next clip. And I have been. whistleblowing on this forever. America. has a crazy Christian problem. It It has. an absolute crazy Christian problem. Look at Charlie Kirk's funeral. That was. some batshit crazy stuff. And listen to.
Tim Scott here. WE KNOW WHO GOD IS. WE'RE TALKING ABOUT JESUS. I SAID THE KING OF KINGS AND THE LORD OF. LORDS, THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA, THE. BEGINNING AND THE END. THAT'S OUR GOD. [screaming]. >> That is just so crazy. And what's. what troubles me so much about this is. as a secular person that had to grow up.
around all these Bible thumpers in. Oklahoma. This was fringe to Bible belt. states. This is a Republican convention. on the global stage. And he's sitting. there doing that megaurch pastor snake. oil salesman grift. And it hits. hard because nobody calls this out. These religious crooks that run and. operate all of these megaurches have. incubated this hatred and this grift and.
they have primed the public not only for. an authoritarian leader but also an. authoritarian grifter because all of. these megaurch pastors and these mega. churches are for grifting. They don't. pay taxes. There's no accountability. These megaurch pastors make billions, billions of dollars, and the. congregation goes and shows up because. they have been emotionally blackmailed. and spirit spiritually blackmailed and. primed by the pastors to say, "If you.
give us money, then wealth will trickle. down." This is why it dove it dovetales. so perfectly with Republican thinking. And the Democrats have to get serious. about calling out this crazy Christian. problem because the biggest determinant. to find out if somebody votes is church. attendance. And the Republicans know. this. They own it. They injected. themselves into this movement. And now. you have people within this movement. that say empathy is toxic.
>> Yeah. And so, and I'm sorry to go off on. this, but this is something that is just. so alarming to see it become mainstream. because I have seen these crazy. Christians my whole my whole childhood, my whole adult life, and now they are. governing us and th this is a cult. This. is a crazy Christian cult. I would just add having grown up in. evangelical Christian circles into. adulthood. they. for example my family there were people.
that sat there and watched that and were. like praise Jesus like this is the best. thing we've ever seen. so they are willing to excuse. the infidelity. the uh abuse of people they they kind of. like it they are willing willing to go. along with all this because on top of. everything which that you said which is. 100% true and you've always said since.
I've known you 25 years the cruelty and. the racism is the point that's that. you've always said that but in addition. to that the way I grew up was not only. you have to be a Republican. but if you're a Democrat you're evil. God will not have favor for you. And. it's just it's such a mind in these. Bible belt states because the.
evangelical Christian movement is the. majority of the population. I shouldn't. say majority is a large percentage of. the population and is certainly a. majority of the voting population. >> Well, let and let's be fair here too. There's not a lot of critical thinking. that's going on at this convention. Is. that fair to say? >> And I want to borrow this phrase that I. used in the last episode, but there's. this scene in True Detective where. Matthew McConna looks over at. >> Woody Harold and they're in some church,
Harelson, sorry, and they're at some. church getting ready to interview a. witness on a crime that's occurred. And. they're doing a lot of religious, they're doing all the talking snake, talking, you know, all the stuff. And. and Matthew McConnA looks over at him. and says, "I think it's fair to say no. one in here is going to be splitting the. atom anytime soon. [laughter]. And so I barred that phrase earlier. Uh. but it's and and my point in that is. that these leaders use religion to. exploit people who are uneducated.
>> who are ignorant. >> Mhm. >> And that's the point. And I don't mean. ignorant or uneducated in a derogatory. way, but these people are not uh. critical thinkers. And so they use. religion knowing that they're going to. exploit these people for money or for. their vote or for their belief in. something. And that to me is the. travesty. And so how do we connect with. those people and let them know that? How. how do we connect with them? >> I think the Democratic party has got to.
start messaging if these if these things. work then why are the Bible belt states. the bottom 10 states? Why are the states. that are majority evangelical, Angie, um, which Oklahoma is majority. evangelical, and I don't know the stats. on Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, if. we go down, um, uh, why are they all. bottom 10 states? Because all of this is. a lie. And they are using something that.
people in rural Oklahoma have nothing. other than their church as a means of. socializing and a means of connection. And it's a really diabolical, manipulative thing that the Republican. party has done has injected themselves. into these spaces. and pumps. It's just. absolutely I I've known this, but. hearing you say that, you know, being a. Democrat is is demonic and bad and evil. and all of these things. that they are not scared, the.
Republicans are not scared of lying to. religious people to curry their vote. And Democrats cannot be scared of. criticizing the grift, the racket, the. lies, the uh uh Christian signaling, the. abject hypocrisy within this movement. Democrats need to call it out. It It. pisses me off that every day something a. day goes by and I don't hear a Democrat.
talking about repeating over and over. and over again, Mike Johnson, the. speaker of the house, is the biggest. religious hypocrite on the planet. He's. talking about Jesus and he's talking. about God. But meanwhile, he he defends. pedophiles. He wants to make sick people. sicker and go and they need to repeat it. over and over and over and over and over. again. >> And um so we'll just do that here until. the Democrats start doing that. And then. of course there's a moment of prayer.
held for Trump at the convention. >> Too late. >> And [laughter] I'm really sorry that we. have to play this, but here it is. We pray for our president, Donald J. Trump, with thanksgiving in our hearts. Give him strength and wisdom and. protection to continue leading our great. nation. >> I've heard enough. I want to know. I. want that guy. I want that guy's Google. search history. I want his Pornhub. history. I want to know when the I I I. want the all I want all of it because.
you know that guy that's standing there. praying for Donald Trump and I don't. know his name but I can tell you that. that guy has a laundry list of. skeletons. >> Yeah, that would make Matt Schlap blush. [laughter]. >> That's what I think pumps. You know, I. uh I see clips like this and we see a. lot of this stuff back home, too. And. [laughter] I think to myself, I I it.
astonishes me that that I live close to. with a lot of these people that think. like this. And I'm so just so different. than that. Like I just it it's hard for. me to understand it. But here here's one. thing I do know growing up in a small. rural town is that people that are. religious uh that live according to in. their in their mind according to the. Bible and the teachings uh of Jesus. Christ they will die on that hill. They.
will ignore any set of facts. They will. ignore truth if it means having to. uh leave if it means having to dishonor. your religion in any way like like their. belief system in their religion is. supreme to anything else in their life. and if you attack that uh they will look. the other way. They will not they will. not abandon that belief system. >> It it's true. They they won't because. they have been taught that abandoning it.
abandoning it or questioning it is sin. And I think Pump, you can speak to this. in the final thoughts, but. what do we have going on there? Is that. your dog Tilly? She's mad at you. [laughter]. She wants to come in here. Sorry. >> I thought you might be ripping one. there. >> Is that a demon? >> I'm Was that a demon? It sounded like a. demon coming to get you for all. >> It's coming now. Okay. But but I do. think that my friends that I knew and. you used to be one of these people when.
I would question, you know, when you. would tell me that you thought that uh u. people used to live to be 900 years old. and I would question that, you. immediately dismissed it and even like. kind of shamed me for questioning it and. and you learned that like, oh, I can't. you can't question that. That's just the. way it is. The Bible says it that's. absolute. um that even questioning the. faith, that's a whole part of the. manipulation of it. >> And it and it goes to the point that. indoctrination.
not only with the crazy like the. the beliefs and all that, but that if. you don't have faith, you have to have. faith. And questioning. what's being uh done and questioning the. facts in the Bible and questioning your. preacher, that means you're not having. faith. And that's a sin. [snorts] So God. will judge you if you your faith is not. strong enough. So it's it's a two-fold. master fuckover. If you don't if you.
question, then you don't have faith. >> Imagine if you don't have faith, you're. going to hell. >> Imagine if you had a friend or a. boyfriend like the what you just. pictured, the relationship with God. If. you question him and you don't have. faith in him, then he's going to punish. you eternally. Imagine if it was a. boyfriend, a husband or a friend and you. went to a therapist and you said, "So, I. have this boyfriend and I keep asking. him questions like, you know, why do you. have Grinder on your phone?" And he. said, "You cannot question me. You have.
to have faith in me. If you don't have. faith in me, I'm going to put you in a. fire pit." The therapist would say, "You. need to call 911. You are in an unsafe, dangerous space." It's so it's just it's. crazy that that for me as a person who. was never indoctrinated. that more people have not caught on to. what what a toxic situation that is. That's just my opinion. Like in no other. planet could you be in some relationship. where somebody's threatening you with. eternal damnation all the time and.
micromanaging every single thought you. have. >> I mean it's just God. It's so abusive. It's just wild. Thank God you got out of. that punch. I That's just a. miserable miserable way to live. >> A lot a lot of this stuff though is. indoctrinated in in kids. Like when. you're young, >> I think is child abuse. >> Well, it is. But I mean, I think Pumps. would say that was part of her story, too. I don't want to speak for you, Pumps, but. >> Oh, 100%. Absolutely correct. >> You see, you you see, and I grew up in a. small town, and when you grow up like.
that, you're looking for goodness. Like, there's not a lot of activities to. occupy your time in in rural Oklahoma. And so you're looking for goodness and. you get stuck up in this thing that the. church represents goodness and and so it. it's a long complicated story. >> All right, that's all we have. Please. like, subscribe, comment, and we will be. back later with more news. >> [music].
