IHIP News:🚨 MAGA TRIGGERED At US AGAIN?! Trump's EMBARRASSING Flub And Miller Gives NAZI SPEECH?!
All right, it's Friday funday. You know. what it is? It's Welch's lemonade. I got. Don Lemon here. Don. >> Lemon. >> Yes. >> So, I'm great. Even better, because I'm. about to share with you. I have really. gotten under Magga Skin. It is trigger. city. >> Snowflake galore. It is like a damn. blizzard of snowflakes. So, on I've had. it. Pumps and I were talking about. homeschooling, particularly the Duggars, and they have these home packets where. they teach about creationism and. dinosaurs and man, all of these lies.
And I said, "Homeschooling is trickle. down stupidity." It's like the person at. the top says, "I'm dumb and I'm going to. make my kids dumb, too." I stand by my. statement unequivocally. I still believe. that. Well, MAGA, because they don't. want to talk about the uh pedophile in. chief, are losing their minds. Pop up. Here's Ronda Santis weighing in on this. >> So, >> the New York Post, >> no. >> The New York Post tweets, far-left. podcaster Jennifer Welch blasts.
homeschooling is trickle down stupidity. and a fundamental crazy Christian. problem. Ronda Santis says not true. Also, in my experience, homeschool. students tend to be noticeably. well-behaved. So, we did a little. research on Ron DeSantis' uh educational. choices for his children, and they go to. an elite private school, faith-based. school in Tallahassee. The next tweet, and I want to get your take on this, the. Department of Education.
tweeted about me. Same New York Post. vertical. US Department of Education. homeschoolers like the winner of the. president's 77 1776 award have. demonstrated their ability to succeed at. the highest level time and time again. The proven value of homeschooling should. never be dismissed as trickle down. stupidity. The only thing that is stupid. is your ignorance. And I want to also. point out here that Linda McMahon's. children both attended public high.
school. They were not homeschooled. Dawn. Okay. [snorts] Number one, I think it is. a badge of honor to piss off the MAGAs. and Ron Dantis. >> I can't take anything seriously that. they do honestly because as I have said. to you before um people who are. intelligent when they gain new. information um they change their minds. if it's something that's different from.
what they believe. No matter how much. information you give a MAGA person, uh, they don't change their minds, it is. cultlike, and I consider Ronda Santis to. be a MAGA person. Um, here's the thing, though, that's it's it's so funny that. you mentioned that. If you'll just let. me tell this little story. Um, I have. the interactions that I've had with most. uh children or most people who have been. homeschooled. I'm talking about adults, not children, I should say that. um as. when they're adults, they have been sh. so sheltered that they have no idea of.
what the real world is like. So I just. happened to be at a concert and I sat. next to someone who was from my own. hometown in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He. [snorts] lived there until he was uh I. think 17 years old or 18 gradu from from. high school years. And I was talking to. him about landmarks, things that were. part of Baton Rouge. Like when you go to. Baton Rouge, you go to Tony Seafood and. you do this. Everybody knows what that. is. Everybody. I said, "And did you know.
about this? Did you know about that? Oh. my gosh, do you remember that?" He. remembered nothing because his parents. homeschooled him and he told me, "Hand. to God, he wishes he had not been. homeschooled because it sheltered him so. much that he had no idea about the real. world. He thought he happens to be a gay. man that he was an abomination. His. parents took him out of school because. they thought that the the public schools. were teaching them that and teaching. them about um uh about integration and. racism and all of that. And he did. His.
parents did not want him to learn about. that. And they were evangelical. Christians. >> in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. And he said. he feels like he was so unprepared to be. an adult and so afraid to be himself. He. wishes his parents had made a different. choice. He knew nothing. He moved away, but when he was 17 or 18, he knew. nothing about major landmarks, major. places in his own hometown where he was. born and grew up. And now he wishes his. parents had done something differently. That's my experience and that's a true.
story. >> I I think that's very telling and that. people that I have met that are adults. now that have been homeschooled uh echo. the very same sentiment that your friend. does. And I think it's important for us. to note that this is a part of the um. fascist playbook. They want a stupid. electorate because a stupid electorate. that doesn't critically think is easier. to plunder. We know that Donald Trump. has told uh Linda McMahon that her job. is to close the Department of Education.
An educated electorate has been a. problem for um rep the Republican party. for quite some time. If you throw in. black people getting educated in there, that's a real real problem for the. Republican party. Here's Fox News's. meltdown on this. Pop this up. Far-left. podcaster Jennifer Welch calls. homeschooling, trickle down stupidity, a. huge problem. And I just want to. re-emphasize here, I grew up in. Oklahoma, a very, very deeply.
evangelical state. And the homeschooling. is because they think that schools are. evil. They think that the teaching of. evolution is evil. Um, and they promote. this uh type of schooling where it's. creationism. It's biblical. This is a. part of not just the fascist project, but the Christian nationalist project. And this is why they're melting down. because this is what they want for every.
American. >> Why? I want to tell you something. Why. do they usually send their kids to uh. don't send their kids to school? There's. a reason that they don't send their kids. to school. And I'm glad you said that. And it's because of everything uh that. you said. It's because of everything. that you said that they don't send their. kids to uh to to public schools or even. private schools. So, I mean, it's a. little odd to me. Can I show you. something? Come here. This is someone. that I will never I hope never. goes to, never is homeschooled and is.
sheltered like that. This is my little. niece who's visiting me from Louisiana. and I hope that she is exposed to things. and she's not sheltered and that um she. doesn't end up uh becoming unaware of. what life is like. Right after. >> her name. >> Yeah. >> Tell them your tell her tell her your. name. Say hi. >> Hi. >> Say hi. Hi Miss Jen. >> Hi. >> Hi Sugar Plum. How are you? Okay. >> She she said how are you?
two. >> How how old? She thought I said she's. two. She's going out with her mom. My. whole family's visiting. Go have a great. day. Okay. Say bye, Miss Jen. >> Bye. >> Bye, darling. [laughter]. I love that. Don, that was a great show. Can I show you something? And you The. last thing on the planet I thought you. were about to pull out was an adorable. toddler. So, that [laughter] shocked the. [Â __Â ] out of me. And I hope to God she. gets a rigorous, robust education. Let's. let's also point out that these fascist.
Christian nationalists that are taking. over our federal government have been. trying to. >> uh dismantle universities higher. education and ridicule people that have. higher education. But I have to let you. in on a little tidbit, Don. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Two days ago, Hunter Biden came right. here to this very studio and we did a. one-on-one. The episode's going to drop. Sunday, but I'm sorry, Saturday. Thank. you, Kylie. It's going to drop Saturday, but I want to show you a little snippet.
from my interview and get your take. Play the clip. >> I know for certain, and I'm not kidding. now, is that there is, and everybody in. DC knows this. I mean, I lived there for. 20 years. Um, my dad was a senator, you. know, or vice president, president, my. my whole life, for 54 years of my life. >> [snorts]. >> And um everybody knows there is like. this. closeted gay mafia. largely Republican that exists in.
Washington DC and everybody knows every. single one of them who who's gay. >> He call he called it a clostocracy. >> Caustocracy. How brilliant is that? And. Hunter Biden is having a moment. And. he's right. Look, and he's lived there. his entire life. He's an open-minded. person. I never understood the guff that. he's gotten. I've always been a. supporter. But he's right. It is an open.
secret in Washington DC. Who the. closeted gays are because when you're. out and you need what you need and you. want what you want and you can't help. it, right? Sometimes that urge, you just. have to have it. People find out. [laughter]. you get drunk and you hit on people. >> Speaking of closet cases, Kylie, find. that headline about Lindsey Graham. I. got to show you this. They've been after. me all week. MAGA, >> by the way, can I let you in a little. bit of a tidbit as well? >> Yeah. >> Uh, so I have Hunter coming up, too.
>> You do? >> But I'm going to let Yeah, I'll let your. Hunter drop before mine drop. But oh, [laughter]. >> for those of you listening, it is a. mediaite headline and it says, "He liked. [Â __Â ] and he likes killing. Jennifer. Welch mocks Lindsey Graham after his. death in shock rant." Are you proud of. me, Don? >> I'm so proud of you. I mean, you are you. are the truth and [laughter].
and you don't hold back, Jen. Wow. And and look, they are obviously. watching you. They've got their eyes and. ears [clears throat] on you and they're. wound up. You have become the target of. their eyeire for telling the truth. >> Ex. Okay. Now, I want to get your take. on of course uh little little Steven. Miller and he makes another Nazisesque. speech about uh alleged which we all. know is a lie, left-wing terrorism. I.
apologize to you and the viewer and the. listener that we have to watch this. clip, but we must in order to fight. fascism. Play the clip. >> Left-wing terrorism always ends in. bloodshed, misery, and suffering. It. only can travel in one direction. There's no point at which the left-wing. terrorist is satisfied with his gains. and ceases progressing. inevitably left. to run its course. It always becomes a.
goolog. >> Don, >> do I have to? [laughter]. He you know what I mean? I mean, I know. I have to, but I mean, do we really have. to? I'm like, when is this going to be. over? And when is he going to stop with. the rhetoric about the leftwing and and. all of that? Stephen Miller has been the. most destructive force behind in our. society in recent history behind all of. the ICE things and all of the policies. that's happening with deportation and he.
can't understand it. I've known Steven. Miller not personally but peripherilally. and I told you he used to be on my show. on CNN all the time. He is unhinged. His. ideas are so extreme. And I used to. wonder if he was what you said about. Lindsey Graham because I I told you. this. I got that vibe. Not that I would. want that. Not that the community would. want it because the community would be. like, "Nope, we don't want him. You can. keep them over there." But I got that. vibe. Now, I have to tell you, you let I.
you let me in on a little tidbit. I wish. I had the sound bite for you, but. there's also an influencer on the left. who is very popular. He's as popular as. you and me. And he said he wishes, he's. a former boxer. He says he wishes that. they would set up another UFC ring on. the White House and he can take on. Steven Miller. And I said, "If you do. that, then I'm going for the Dons, both. of them. I'll do Don Jr. and I'll do Don. Senior, but I'd be afraid that Don.
Senior I might, you know, the poo poo. diaper thing may be a little bit too. much for me to take, but [laughter] I. would go in the ring with Don Jr. and we. could. But this guy, this he says he. wants to, you have to watch and see who. it is. It's coming up soon uh shortly. But he wants to take on Steven Miller in. the ring because he said I guess he. thinks he has a punchable face. >> Well, he does. When when Steven Miller. was standing there with that face and. that those mannerisms and that demeanor. and that voice talking about terrorism, I'm like, you have to look in the mirror. every single day and watching you feels.
like I'm watching an active bout of. terrorism in full motion. I mean, just. his the mirror speak his him speaking. feels like an act of terrorism. So, I. think that's why it's on the mind all. the time because he's so incredibly. off-putting and unlikable and unfuckable. and everything about this man, [laughter]. you know, I mean, >> you wouldn't he couldn't get it. >> You know, I mean, we [laughter]. all know in the relationship with he and. Katie, he's the bottom. You know it, Don.
[laughter]. >> He might be a side. You know, we talked about that before. top, bottom, and side. But everyone, didn't you say it should be called the. middle? You know what the side is? It's. like, Kenny, you're kind of on your. side. You're kind of. >> Yeah. >> I don't think you a little spooning. >> Yeah. [laughter]. >> Leave it. I knew you'd know all the. >> spoon jab. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, he is. probably one of the most unattractive. people that I have visually that I've. also, you know, policy-wise and the way.
he thinks, the most unattractive people. I've I've met, >> which is really shocking when you think. about how Donald Trump is so into. aesthetics. He's into attractive people. He's into I mean, he has terrible taste. obviously in interior design, but he's. very into he thinks he's a man of taste, and he's very into that. If you look at. both Steven Miller and Stephen Chung, both objectively incredibly unattractive. and both incredibly loyal to Donald.
Trump and have been by his side for such. a long time. And I'm surprised just on. the basis of appearance because Donald. Trump is that petty that he hasn't fired. him because of that. And what I think we. should do on the left is we should start. talking about how unattractive they are. all the time and make sure it gets to. like regrammed on right-wing media and. makes its way to Fox because Donald. Trump would be like, you know what, they. are unattractive. Look at these guys. >> Uh do you know what it Okay, so that in. that picture. okay.
so one of them is pants really low and. the other one is high. This one looks. normal. But I will tell let me tell you. this. This is true story. When when I. knew Stephen Miller, I don't I haven't. seen him in a long time. He was rail. thin, like you know, like he was, you. know, malnourished that thin. >> Uh he had the little short thing and. then wore the powder and he was actually. very well-dressed. That's sort of what. set off my gayar possibly, right? And. but he used to wear his pants so high. and jacked up it was bizarre. I was. like, why is he, you know, that sort of.
thing? So that is fun fact that people. don't know. Really skinny, very. well-dressed. But high pants waters and. the other guy was Yeah. But yeah, high. waters. But he would hike them up. >> like above the waist. So maybe someone. taught him that your pants should be. like there it's it should be worn off. your hip and on your waist. >> Either either that or is this is this a. form of like self sadism that he likes. to hike him up and feel pain in his. testicles like making him a camel toe.
because this man likes pain. He traffs. in pain. I know. But I'm just That's. where my brain went. Chin. I don't want. that picture in my. >> I know. I [laughter] know. Of course, we've gone off the rails already. All. right, let's talk about the reflecting. pool. >> Okay, so according to a new report, Kylie, pop this up. >> Um, the New York Times is reporting that. FBI evidence team. >> visits the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting. Pool. Officials surveyed the newly. drained pool where the floor began.
peeling soon after the $16 million. repair drop. President Trump has blamed. vandals. He sent the FBI. to investigate the shitty job that his. shitty friend who was way over his skis. on doing this style of project did. And. according to the reporting from. Washington from the Washington Post, the. lining of the Lincoln Memorial's. reflecting pool peeled in at least seven. places along seams that were created. when the m when the material applied,
indicating likely problems and how it. was installed, according to the experts. that viewed all of this. So, think about. all of the stuff going on in the world. >> Oh god. and all of the investigations. that need to happen like the murder of. Alex Prey, the the murder of Renee Good, the murder of the person that was just. killed in Maine, the other murder that. happened this week, um the missing the. the the the killing or andor the death. of the the boy that you're covering down. in Mississippi, the young man in.
Mississippi, >> Nolan Wells. Yeah. >> Nolan Wells. And he's got the FBI. over here investigating what we all know. was a shitty repair job. And um this is. basically Donald Trump's America. This. everybody just bends to the whims of a. nut job. >> This is on the level for me of the. election of 2020 was stolen. Delusional. And uh we all know the election wasn't. stolen. We all know that nobody damaged. the reflecting pool, that it was a bad.
repair job, that he did a he gave a no. bid contract to someone who was. incompetent. Not surprising in the MAG. administration because Donald Trump is. incompetent. JD Vance is incompetent. Pete Hexath is incompetent. Um, uh, Duffy is in in incompetent. They're and. all the way on down. Todd Blanch, all of. them are incompetent. All of them are. there according to their definition, DEI. hires. They were just handed these. positions because that's what Donald. Trump wants. even that idiot that he has.
is nominating for director of national. intelligence um Jay whatever I forget. what his name is Clayton or something. like that who can't even answer the. question about the election. So in order. to [snorts]. uh make up for his blunder once again he. has gone overboard to pretend something. else is happening. If you want to, I I. encourage you on your own property. I. have a pool and go out there with an. X-acto knife and try to damage your pool. and see how quickly the blade gets uh.
destroyed from the concrete that's on. your pool. The reflecting pool is. concrete and see what happens. Okay? Just you you don't have to do it, but. you get my point. Perhaps that. reflecting pool was damaged because your. dumbass drove your motorcade across it. as soon as they finished it with a with. vehicles that weigh a couple of tons. Maybe that's the problem. You're the. problem. You should arrest yourself. Put. yourself in jail and do us all a favor.
It's absolutely ridiculous. Instead, he's arresting the very people who. helped to pay for that reflecting pool. with their tax money. Outrageous. And. I'm tired. This man is cuckoo for cocoa. puffs. >> And they're going along with it. It. makes whoever is going along with it at. the FBI, Cash Patel, incompetent. It. makes them seem like idiots as well. Come on. The reflecting pool was fine. before. If you wanted to repair it, you. should have just repaired it the way it. was, left it, put the water back in it,
and go about your business. >> Very well said, darling Don. All right, I want to now play a dementia rant that. Trump went on yesterday about trans. people. Then I'm going to give you some. analysis about why we think he's linking. trans people to this particular subject. Play the clip. We had this ridiculous. chips act where you give billions of. dollars to a company and they didn't. even know what the hell to do with it. You give them billions of dollars, they. say they're going to build, nobody knew. what to do with it. And of course, the.
standards were so high if you weren't. transgender, as an example, uh you. didn't qualify. So, they get the money, they hired, they look all over for. transgender people to run the company, large portions. They couldn't find them. They weren't into the chipm business, I. guess, right? [laughter]. >> Oh my god. >> Okay, here's where this comes from. >> Wait, here's where this comes from. really quick. Here's this analysis from. Melanie Dagio. She says,
>> "The Chips Act funds the production of. chips using leading edge transistors.". [laughter]. >> And now you can probably figure out why. he thinks these companies needed. transgender people to qualify. This is. where this comes from. >> Transistors. >> I'm out. I'm I'm out. I can't. Yeah. [laughter] I'm just saying. It's like. remember the transgenic mice? Do you. remember? Yes. >> He said that he said there were. transgender mice. And it's like no,
that's not what it means. And also, do. they do transponders too or something? I. know they do transistors, but he it's. the same thing. I'm telling you, that's. why this man is cuckoo and he's dumb. He. loves the poorly educated and he loves. himself because he is the poorly. educated. When he when he said um about. he thinks that asylum when people come. over seeking asylum he thinks that it's. from asylum like insane asylum. [laughter]. >> and then he goes.
yes and so he thinks that's what it is. [laughter]. cuz I mean and the evidence is like and. then Hannibal Lecter and the ins the. insane asylum they're letting people. [laughter] out. It's like, "No, they're. seeking asylum, you dumbass." And then. now it's like, "No, it's not. transgender." But also, Jen, think about. the contradiction in that where he's. talking about transgender people and he. said they're taking over everything. Now, how are the transgender people. taking over everything yet and still. they can't find enough of them to fill. jobs?
>> For the Chips Act. >> For the Chips Act. I mean, does he think. the Chips Act is about potato chips? Like what? [laughter]. >> Trans potato chips. >> Trans potato chips. >> At this at this point, I think you. should sit down at the Resolute desk and. just say my administration my. administration is going to put an end to. trans potato chips and sign an executive. order. I mean, because that's it's. that's basically what we're dealing. with. And then now he's endorsing. >> Jen. Yeah, >> Jen, hold on before you go to that,
please. I think honestly that we should. propose some legislation perhaps. I. don't know if this is feasible or not to. give if there are people who are part of. MAGA who want to know if they're in a. cult to give them some sort of. deprogramming to put some sort of. deprogramming program um that they can. go to to sort of help them to figure. that out because I you don't come out of. it unless you are deprogrammed and I. think that like someone who is addicted. they need help someone who's in a cult.
they need help and maybe if we like when. people say you really want to reach. across the aisle Or you want to uh give. someone an olive branch. Perhaps that's. where we start with an olive branch. I I. mean, do you think that's a terrible. idea? >> No, I have a great idea. So, you run for. president. >> You win. You appoint me as a secretary. of education. And at the Department of. Education, I teach a class where people. can homeschool their friends and. neighbors on how to get deprogrammed.
from the cult. in a full circle moment. for myself. [laughter]. >> I I think that's a good idea. People. keep asking me if I'm running for. president and I'm like, you know what? >> Maybe I should keep asking. You think. so? All right. >> [Â __Â ] it. Why not? You know, why not? I'll be your running mate. Let's just do. it. Let's see what Let's see how far it. >> Let's see how far we can take it. >> We could be co-presidents, you know? >> Let's just No, you'll be the president. I'm fine being VEP. I want to be like I.
want to channel part Kamla, part uh. Julia Louie Drifus from the sitcom VEP. And I I I'll also take over the interior. design projects. >> I was just going to say the things we. could do with that White House to. restore it back to. Oh my gosh. Fabulous. >> Speaking of um horrible things, you may. remember Mike Lindell, the My Pillow. guy. >> Pillow dude. Yeah. >> Yeah. Who's like lost his money. uh lost.
his mind. Everything all for Donald. Trump. Well, he's running for governor. >> And um of course, Trump has endorsed. him. Pop this up. [clears throat]. >> Mike Lindell, the pillow man and one of. America's greatest and most hardworking. patriots, is running to be governor of. Minnesota, replacing one of the worst. and most incompetent governors in the. history of the USA. Early primary voting. has begun, and if given the chance, Mike. will be spectacular. He truly loves. Minnesota as do I and wants to bring it.
back from oblivion and embarrassment. He. can do it. Nobody has sacrificed more. than Mike Lindell in fighting for our. country, especially when it comes to. election integrity, which is [Â __Â ]. Um, he will make Minnesota great again. Mike Lindell has my complete and total. endorsement. We switched to caps lock. for those of you that are listening, not. watching. He will not let you down. Good. luck, Mike. Um, Lindell prices his.
pillows at $14.88. And this is considered a common Nazi dog. whistle. 14. >> Oh. Oh, that's an interesting number. That's. very specific. >> Like, it's as specific as the I spoke to. Mitch McConnell for 17 minutes, right? >> Oh my god, we need to talk about that. Okay, we Okay, but let me just say this. >> Yeah. >> Um I'm I'm going to say something and. then I I'm going to say something after.
that. >> Uh they So the So Donald Trump needs to. grab one of those pillows, a bunch of. those pillows. He needs to have a seat. and he needs to give some of those. pillows to the closeted bottoms in the. Republican party to sit on in the spare. [laughter]. because obviously they're getting a lot. of work out if you check the grinder. I'm just allegedly. The other thing is, Jen, it may surprise you that I'm all. about this idea. I think he should run. I think whoever wants to run for. president, fine. But I'm all about this. idea because I think this would all but.
guarantee a Democratic win in Minnesota. And I think that's what we need right. now instead of uh some crazy MAGA. right-wing nut running Minnesota. It. would guarantee a win. Yeah. Go ahead, Mike Pillow. Yes. Donald Trump, go ahead. and run in Minnesota for governor. Hand. out a bunch of pillows for your party. for a lot of people who are in the MAGA. party who need to take a damn seat and. they can sit on those pillows or just go. take a nap cuz they're tired.

for decades. That's what his uh. tombstone should say. A real dick for. lots of decades. >> If he if the situation were reversed, I. think Bashier just needs to go ahead and. run the special election. >> Just just that we haven't heard from. him. I don't have this photograph. This. proof of life hostage video photograph. doesn't work. I haven't heard from him. I don't know that he's all there. And so. he hasn't called me to prove this. He. hasn't made anything available me to. prove this. So I'm going to go ahead and.
run the special election. >> That's what Mitch would do. >> Yeah. I mean, and look, last time we. were on, I think we ran the video of the. last time we saw uh Mitch McConnell. He. was falling. He fell over and then uh. reporter and then he like just sort of. did this and can barely talk. That's why. I don't understand why the people like I. spoke to him for 17 minutes. I spoke to. him for 20 minutes. It's like did he did. you did you talk back? Did he talk? Right. Um because we all know that. that's a bunch of [Â __Â ] The other. thing is Jen, now I've had family.
members recently who were in hospitals. and I went I went to visit them. When. was the last time you saw someone in a. hospital with a completely pressed and. ironed shirt looking perfect? Mitch. McConnell has not looked like that since. 1987. And so [laughter]. either it's a major photoshop that. they're doing or come on. >> Yeah. Yeah. Come on. Please. >> Do you usually sit around like. >> jeans at the hospital? >> And who puts their paper like that? Do. you think Mitch McConnell is reading a.
paper like that with my eyes? I used to. love to read the paper. Now you know I. have to read the paper this with some. light on it because I can't. Come on. now. Come on. >> You know I I'm not I'm not believing it. But hey, that's just me in my opinion. allegedly. >> Do you think he's you don't? But I agree. with you. I think that they should just. go ahead and do this special. >> I think he just move forward. That's. what he would do. >> Just move forward and put some fire. under them. So they have to give some. proof. And if Mitch McConnell is. speaking to people for 17 minutes and 20.
minutes, why can't he speak to someone. in the media press? Why can't they do a. FaceTime? Why can't they go and send a. camera there? Even if he wants to talk. to Fox News or Sean Hannity or whatever, go talk to him. Let us see him. The. people deserve to know. The people of. Kentucky deserve to know. >> He's their representative. >> We need to hear from our leaders. Okay. You have done an exceptional job. covering the death of Nolan Wells. And.
of course, we spoke about this on our. podcast. Last week was on your channel. This week it's on my channel. We spoke. about this, but corporate media tends. to, and this has been proven, data will. far it out what I'm about to say, tends. to undercover and doesn't report on. issues when a black person goes missing. or a black person dies unexpectedly. But. if this boy were blondhaired, blue-eyed, this would be a lead story on CNN, MS. Now, ABC, CBS, etc. And so, you've done.
an incredible job covering this each and. every night. So, kudos to you for that, Don. But here is Jasmine Crockett. reacting to the Nolan Wells. investigation. Play the clip. >> to investigate. [clears throat]. >> So, what do you think? >> Well, I mean, you know me. I'm a civil. rights lawyer. I mean, I'm looking at it. and I'm looking at the fact that these. white kids deleted their social media. accounts. It's not like they sat down. and talked to law enforcement. It's not. even like law enforcement decided that. they wanted to sit down and talk to.
them. They decided, "Oh, the little. black boy ended up dead without his cell. phone, without his friends going and. telling his parents, oh yeah, we got the. cell phone. They got to go and track. down the phone and find the phone." It. looks like a racial thing to me, but. hey, maybe we'll find out that it. wasn't. >> Don, [clears throat] this is how the the. black community very much feels when. they see this. Correct. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yes. And look, there of. course there's suspicion. Look at the. history of this country. Let's just be. honest. And so if for people to get all.
the, you know, the the racist and all. them to get all riled up and say, "How. do we know it's about race?" Of course, we don't know. We don't know that right. now. But judging history is is a great. teacher um of how black people and. especially black men are treated in this. society. So, let's just say, right, to. Jasmine Crockett's point and to my. point, let's just say it was an. accident, right? Let's just say it was. an accident. Here's the racial part that. and and I I'm not sure. I don't believe.
that it was, but if it is, I I will. accept that and we will move on from. there. Here's the thing. Look at what. the sheriff did days just a day or so. after it happened. Came to the. conclusion basically that it was an. accident. Now, do you think if the roles. were reversed that they would have come. to a conclusion that soon of there must. be an investigation. also? Why is the mom, why is the family, why are um friends out doing the.
investigation that the investigators, the sheriff's department should be. doing? Why are they retrieving cell. phones? Why are they retrieving keys? Why hasn't anyone been questioned? I. don't I guess question, but why I guess. questioned or arrested for allowing. minors to drink? He's 18 years old. They. shouldn't be drinking. They're pictures. They've got beers in their hand. Who. allowed that? Who bought them that. liquor? How did that happen? Whose boat. were they on? What was and why is is an. is a is an underage person on your boat.
being allowed to drink that you're. aiding in a bedding. Okay, that has not. been investigated. Also, why have you not reached out to. the mother of the person who has died to. the victim at this point to ask to just. talk to her, give her some transparency? Why is she having to text you on the. Tuesday after her son died on the I. believe it was a Saturday that the 4th. of July was on. She said in the press.
conference that she has not spoken to. the investigators for over a week. She. said in her quote was since last. Tuesday. She gave the press conference. on Wednesday. She reached out to them via text message. and says I haven't heard from. investigators then. This is what and and. so I'm concerned about transparency. I'm. also concerned that they have not given. a press conference since the initial. one. They have not updated the public. They're not reaching out to the family. If you are the sheriff, if you are.
somebody who has a degree of humanity, you know what you do, Jen? You say, "Hello, Miss Wells. This is Sheriff Led. Better. I just wanted to contact you and. tell you that I'm so sorry for what. happened to your son. And then if you. need me, I am here for you at any time. Here's the phone number where you can. reach me. And if you can't, you can. reach out to this person and they will. get me on the line. And I want to assure. you that there's going to be a thorough. investigation. Don't you worry. You just. worry about, you know, taking care of. your son and taking care of your son's. arrangements and taking care of. yourself. I just want you to know that.
Thank you. That takes 30 seconds. He. hasn't done that. And there's so many. missed opportunities of people that they. have not a asked questions to, evidence. that they reportedly have not collected. And it has been, as we tape this, 12. days since he died. Why do you think. there is a show called The First 48? Is because it is crucial that you start. collecting evidence. No matter what it. is, if it's real or not, you start. chasing it and you ask questions. Everybody's seen Law and Order. I know.
that's not 100% real, but I know that. for investigations like this, you start collecting information as soon. as possible. And it doesn't seem like. that has been done. Otherwise, they. would not be reaching out to the DA to. have a meeting with the DA to make sure. that there's some communication now. between the family and the investigators. and the attorneys and all of that. That. has finally happened. And why did. according to the lawyer in Mississippi,
you are required, the victim, you are. required to give the victim a victim. statement within 72 hours that tells. them what their rights are and what they. can do. It had it hadn't happened 11. days after he had been after he had. died. So, you know, don't give me that. [Â __Â ] that it's not race involved, that every investigation is treated the. same. It is not. >> I I I completely agree with you. I'm. sorry to go on, but I I think it's. important. >> I I think this is a very important story.
and you have been leading the charge and. covering this every night on the Don. Lemon show and I I think that it's. important that we discuss it. Just so we. know, you can let us know what you know. Have have has there been a determination. of the cause of death or anything like. that yet? >> Not so far. They have not. As we are. taping this, Jen, and it could happen. any moment, right? Uh no, there's been. nothing. and the body is with um uh uh. someone in um uh a medical expert uh in.
Washington DC now. It was delayed a bit. because of rain and and you know issues. with the plane and all of that that they. explained at at the press conference. No, not at all. And here's the thing too. because you're you're asking questions. about that. I think that there should be. a cadence to uh the investigators of. someone addressing the press because. everyone because where there is a a a. lack of information, a vac a vacuum, people fill in the gap with speculation. and with with with rumors and we have.
found out but that some of the things. that have been put out there are not. true. The best way to combat that. misinformation is to say every day at. this time or whatever you set the. cadence, we are going to give you an. update rather than you guys calling. every single minute to get overwhelming. the phone lines to say every day at. 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. We're going to. update you on this. We're going to have. a whether or 9:00 a.m. and 4 p.m. whatever it is that you're going to. have. We're going to give you. information and even if there's nothing. to update you, we'll let you know that.
we're working on it. Some days you give. a press conference. Most days you try. to. That doesn't take any effort. And. other days you just put out a press. release saying, "Hey, today there was um. information on a photograph. That. photograph is not true. That was taken. uh weeks before. He was at another party. and so do not put any credence in that. photograph." But other than that, we. have nothing else to report. We are. working on this diligently. Thank you. for your interest. That's not happening. That's easy to do.
Yeah, it's it's uh to my viewers that. tune in every uh Friday, make sure you. go over to the Don Lemon Show and like. and subscribe over there because his. night his evening show he does live and. he has had everybody in talking about. this and is covering it the way it. should be covered that when somebody. perfectly healthy and young dies and was. with a large group of people and. photographs of everybody together that. day and suddenly everybody's gone and. person's body is found and they're dead,
it's fishy as hell. And so a story like. this, if this boy looked like he were my. son and not Don's son, would be getting. completely different coverage. And so. it's important as we are allies and. supportive of each other in this. country. Uh whether we're in the throws. of fascism or not, this issue has been. ubiquitous in the United States. It's. important that we we embrace one another. and each other's suff suffering and we.
show interest in and concern and we want. to shine a light that this investigation. gets the diligence and the work that it. would be for a a white young man. Don, I. I hate to shift gears, but I've got to. go soon. But I know that you're um at. the beach and I just want to say there. is an outbreak of diarrhea from a. parasite that is expanding from multiple. states. And I just wanted to say don't have any. salads. This is courtesy of of of RFK.
and Elon Musk. They cut the funding. where they monitor the bacteria that. causes explosive diarrhea. They cut it. They cut the funding because as I always. say, MAGA is a death cult. >> And now MAGA is a diarrhea cult. And so, um, in more ways than one, literally and. figuratively, MAGA is explosive diarrhea cult. >> A [Â __Â ] cult. Is that what you're saying? >> Explosive [Â __Â ] to [laughter] be exact.
>> Look, and no one should be surprised. Remember what happened with Pete Hex. when he took away the the flu vaccine, right? Or the flu shot that they had to. have. And uh and then people started. getting the flu and they had to give it. back. They do it because you know. vaccines they don't work. >> None of that works in MAG in the MAGA. world until people start getting sick. So no, I don't want I don't want that. But you know I could stand I could stand. to lose a few pounds. [laughter]. >> Get you right back to your goal weight. That's for sure. Maybe you do want to go.
through Taco Bell and get you get you a. big uh lettuce bowl. All right listener. [laughter]. >> Jen. Thank you. I would just want to say. this is what what you said about me and. Nolan Wells that story that's what it's. that is what an it is to be an ally. That is what it's like to be open-minded. about uh our country and learning about. other people who are different than us. who may not look like us. So, thank you. for that. >> Yeah. Thank you for your coverage, Don. I mean, you're the only one who's really. covering this every night. And so,
continue to do so because people, you. need to help shine a light on this and. you are a real journalist that can keep. probing and keep your eye on this and. keep shining a light on whatever. happened because there needs to be. justice and explanation surrounding. this. And so, for those of you that. don't know, this week was on my channel. Next week will be on Dawn's channel. And. every Friday we're dropping these uh. Welch's lemonade, the the weekend read.
>> We do. We the weekend read. We're. dropping them. And no matter where when. I was away overseas, I'm like, I got to. get to my girl Jen. We may. >> next week I'll be in Italy. >> Take it off. You can take time off. You. can take time. If you want to take time. off, Jen, I'm totally fine with that. Seriously, >> I can't do it because you already said. that you were in France and you still. did it. And then you were in Greece and. you still did it. And then I'm going to. Italy. I'm going to be in Italy next. week and I don't want to look like the. loser deadbeat [Â __Â ] member of the. team because you're an over. >> When do you leave? We can tape before.
>> I leave next Wednesday. >> Maybe we tape before. I want you to have. a good vacation. >> I do too. But I'll tell you what, I'm. not going to be outshined or outworked. by Don Lemon. [laughter] Come Hill or. High Water, it is not [Â __Â ] happening. Okay. >> I know. Because we're both tired. Jen, get us one of those My Pillow pillows. and you know, [laughter]. >> bring me You're tired, you're poor, you're sick, you're hungry. We'll get. our our My Pillows and go have a little. sleepover at the Statue of Liberty. Don, I love you. Have fun at the beach. Give. Tim my love. >> I will. Thank you. Bye.
