IHIP News: MAGA FAILING To Rig MIDTERMS And LOSING At the Polls!! Trump Breaks RECORD LOW Approval!!
Trump and Maga started all of this. gerrymandering stuff and the Democrats. were like, "Okay, if this is what y'all. are going to do, you're going to cheat, we'll tit-for-tat." So, the Democrats. secured a massive victory last night. that could be the key to taking back the. House in the midterms. Maga is stage. five spiraling, melting down. Pop this. up. Midas Touch reporting, we can now. project that the yes vote will win. Virginia's redistricting referendum,
handing a major victory with huge. national implications. The amendment. allows Democrats to redraw congressional. maps ahead of the midterms, potentially. shifting the state from six to five to. as many as 10 to one, a net gain of four. seats that could help decide control of. Congress. Just one caveat here that I. want to mention, Pundit and Josh, is. that. the Republicans just do this. Trump. calls up. Abbott in Texas and says, "Do this." He.
says, "Yes, sir, I'll do it." The. Democrats take it to the voters as they. did in California and now Virginia. Pundit. >> Well, you know what's interesting is, like you said, Donald Trump started it, Greg Abbott fell in line. The first. person that I came out saw come out and. have an absolute meltdown about. Virginia's new redistricting plan was. Ted Cruz. >> I knew you were going to say that. >> so I immediately knew this is a great. thing. But I'm like, why are you wetting.
the bed? This is what you wanted. This. is what you said you wanted. The Supreme. Court was like, "Okay, you can do it.". The Democrats did it legally, in. accordance with the rules. So, go. yourself, Ted Cruz and Donald Trump and. everybody that thought they could cheat. their way to the midterms. >> And I think bed-wetting is a default. setting for Maga men, particularly Ted. Cruz. Josh, what do you think about Ted. Cruz? >> Well, gosh, that's a loaded question. Um, ever since Cancun. >> [laughter].
>> Um, I don't think much of Ted Cruz, but. this is one of those situations where be. careful uh. what you ask for because you just may. get it and the people put this to the. vote and it sounds like Virginia's going. to have up to possibly 10. uh spots um seats in in that particular. state up from five, so. and like Pump said, uh they put it to. the people. Uh whereas we don't just. call governors in our states and say, "Hey, do this or do that." We let the. people decide.
>> All right, and Barack Obama has. responded, popped this up. Congratulations, Virginia. Republicans. are trying to tilt the midterm elections. in their favor, but they haven't done it. yet. Thanks for showing us what it looks. like to stand up for our democracy and. fight back. And just an interesting. thing, Obama has been creeping into back into. politics a little bit. He was with Zoran. this past week and I think signaling to. the Democratic Party, "Work together. If. you're a progressive, if you're a.
leftist, if you're a moderate, whatever, work together. This is a people-first. party." And now he is jumping in on the. midterms, which we all need to be. laser-focused. on building coalitions to get a. Democratic majority. Once we have that. majority, we can push politicians, threaten to primary them if they're too. corporate-ish, but I think we have to. really push for huge, huge blue. tsunami-like uh returns, Josh. >> I think that Obama's a huge part of the.
Democratic Party in uniting the base and. you know, if if you're a member in our. lifetime, he's the last great leader. that we've had and I know a lot of us. were frustrated for a period of time. It. seemed like he had gone silent. He had. gone dark. and you can't go dark in a time like. this. Like it I think he he it's good to. see him back. It's good to see him being. active, and I think the party relies. upon him a lot as we move forward to the. midterms. >> I completely agree. He is beloved, and I.
think he understands what's going on. with the the electorate. He is a He is a. past president, but he is beloved in our. party, and I love that he is jumping. back in this and sending us signals as. to how to manage the fissures in the. Democratic Party, how to come together, and how to beat Republicans, cuz that's. the point of this. We must beat these. fascists. Pundits, I want to get your. take on this. Trump talked again. yesterday extending a ceasefire with. Iran that he promised he promised,
pundits, that this was his final. deadline. And then posted this on Truth. Social. Pop this up. Iran doesn't want the Strait of Hormuz. closed. They want it open so they can. make $500 million. a day, which is therefore what they are. losing if it is closed. They only say they want it closed. because I have it totally blockaded. Parentheses closed. Exclamation point in. parentheses. So they merely want to. quote save face. People approached me 4.
days ago saying, "Sir, sir, Iran wants. the strait open immediately, but if we. do that, there can never be a deal with. Iran." And I just want everyone to know, deal with Iran is capitalized. "Unless. we blow up the rest of the. their country, their leaders included, President Donald J. Trump, pundits.". >> Okay, couple things on this. Number one, I read that uh. Iran was going around the blockade and. using other export methods for their.
oil. Here's the thing. Donald Trump is a. bully. He has been able to bully. Republicans. He has been able to bully. Americans and get his way. This is the. first time that you see a continued go. yourself attitude, and as a bully, he does not know what to do with that. He knows he's getting his ass kicked in. Iran. He knows that the American people. hate this war. It's costing a ton of. money. And I just want to remind. everybody, before he went into Iran, the strait was.
open. There was Iran did not get money. for it. Like he has taken a non-problem. and made it so much worse with no clear. avenue on how to stop this. Every single. bit of this is on him. >> And hours after Trump extended the. ceasefire, Iran fired at three. ships in the Strait of Hormuz. And. there's also been reporting that Iran. will not, repeat, will not negotiate with J.D. Vance. They want him nowhere near, which.
I can certainly understand with all of. the couch rumors, what happened in. Hungary, everything that J.D. Vance. touches, including the former Pope, drops dead. And so this guy has the. opposite of what I would say is the. Midas touch. So good on Iran. I wish. that he could get over there and. Pakistan or somebody could just keep him. because he is a deficit on the American. public. And aides say that Trump is wary. of continuing the war with Iran. New. reporting from the Wall Street Journal. is telling us that this isn't the same.
Trump they're seeing in private. Let's. pop this up. Um as negotiations with Iran broke down. Tuesday before they had even begun, President Trump asked aides whether the. US should resume attacks on the country. Even as Trump asked about resuming the. bombing campaign, officials said he. seemed wary about restarting hostilities. and prolonging a conflict that is deeply. unpopular with the American people. Josh. >> [gasps].
>> Well, for Trump now to become wary of. things that are unpopular in America, >> [laughter]. >> seemed to be a little bit ironic. Um. I don't even know where to start. I. mean, when we started this segment, I. was reading Trump's Truth Social. uh. I don't know if you call it a tweet, but. I was thinking to myself, this couldn't. pass a fifth-grade spell check. >> [laughter]. >> Like, and this is the way that our. president communicates with us about. being in a war. Is that we go to this Truth Social and. have to read this garbage? I think we've.
become immune to that every day because. we see this, but this is not normal. Reading stuff. like that, blowing stuff up. None of. this is normal. So, I just I just. He's crazy. >> Okay, and all of this stuff is. happening, you guys. All of this is. happening. with Trump's approval ratings hitting a. record low. Pop this up. New AP poll, Trump's job approval rating. falls to 33%. Huge warning sign for GOP, Trump's.
approval on handling the economy has. tanked to. 30%, falling by nine points since. February before he launched the war. And. although this is good news, I have to. ask you both, Josh and Pumps, who are. these 30%? >> Yeah, when I saw this yesterday, I. thought what we really need to do is go. in depth and talk to this 30. 30% of people and find out what is so. broken with them and get them some help. Because if you can see what's going on,
your gas prices are higher, your energy. prices are higher. Everything costs more. money. And you say, "Yeah, he's my guy." After. just this debacle in Iran, I I need to. know what's how we can help you. >> I I think there's a certain element to. the base that's just not you're never. going to move, period. And those numbers. are going to stay there and it just. isn't going to change. And and that's. unfortunate. >> Yeah, I think that we just all have to. accept that 30% of the electorate are.
And no matter what happens, they're always going to be And. Donald Trump could literally stand on. Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and. they'd be like, "Fuck yeah, let's go." I. mean, they don't give a They have. tripled down on this. They buy they fall. prey to propaganda. And I think these. people operate out of fear. I think. they're really scared people that are. easily triggered and they think sadly. like he's their idealized version of a. tough guy, which. >> And and I think that calling them a. has been somewhat kind at this.
point. >> Thank you. All right, moving along. The. US is spending $2 billion a day on the. war with Iran, but Trump's Pentagon. doesn't think that that is enough. Think. about that. We are told constantly we. can't afford in the United States. We can't afford air traffic controllers. We can't afford uh to have um education. We can't afford to have health care, but. we can spend $2 billion a day on an. illegal war. Um pop this up.
Trump's Pentagon has requested $75. billion for drones and related. technologies. This is the same amount of. money Trump budgeted for the entire. Department of Education, Josh. >> It's it's always struck me as being uh. almost criminal. uh what we pay our teachers and the. money we allocate to things like. education. And then you see anytime we. get into a conflict uh internationally, you see this flood of money, this.
funding, the the these resources that. are so plentiful. But when you need them. in day-to-day life, when you when you. have kids in small towns that need to be. able to get on a school bus or need to. be able to have a lunch paid for at. their school, they're nowhere to be found. Like you. there's no resources. And it just. baffles me. I I and a lot of people. should be mad about this because. day-to-day lives of Americans that are. trying to just simply wake up, get on. the school bus, go to school, or go. work, uh be the family of two or three.
or four people should be mad about this, this money being spent like this in a. war that is so unnecessary. >> And I would just point out pumps that. trans people, gay people, immigrants, black people, women. are not the reason that we can't have. these things. It are these It's these. warmongers, these profiteers, these. bloodthirsty capitalists. There are. people profiting off of this war and I. would mention that a lot of the people.
that are profiting off of this war are. Steve Witkoff, yep, Trump's golf buddy. and his sons, and dipshitter, Donald Trump's sons, dumb and dumber, Jared Kushner, who's made billions of. dollars, not to mention the. military-industrial complex. And that's before we even get to the. insider trading that is obvious that. right before Trump makes some. announcement about this war, his. buddies, his country club golf buddies. at Mar-a-Lago are gaming the stock.
market. And then all of these people in. America that are just trying to make. ends meet, the Republican Party. diabolically and insidiously serves up. these trans people and these queers and. these women, these white liberal women, they're why you can't have nice things. Meanwhile, it is the people who are. pulling the levers of power. >> And I wonder if you go to middle America. and ask people, why are we at war with. Iran? What would people say? Do you Do we.
know? Does anybody know? >> Um, other than a lot of people are. profiting and a lot of money's being. spent when it could be spent. domestically helping Americans. >> Well, you know what what I think they'd. say and I want both of your take on this. because we all grew up in Oklahoma. This. propaganda that the Republican Party has. used that they are a Muslim country and. they're terrorists and they want to kill. everybody. That and they hate freedom. That is what I think the average. American would say.
And they have bought into this. propaganda. What's your take on that, Pumps? >> I agree with that. I also think that it. would be Well, you know, they had. nuclear weapons and they were dangerous. And then they would If you went back and. said, "Okay, but in March, the president. came on and said they obliterated all. ability to create nuclear weapons. How. do you square that?" I think that that. they would then kick into what you said, the Muslims, Sharia law, like all of. that. >> Sharia law, yeah, that that's a big one.
that they're I think Ted Cruz is on. >> But I I do think this, a lot of people. are so busy having to make ends meet, to. work, that they don't they don't know. they don't know this stuff. They don't. know these things. They're not tracking. it like this. And a lot of people don't. understand this war. >> Okay, meanwhile, while all this is going. on, our quote-unquote ally, Israel, led by war criminal, homicidal, genocidal, murdering, child-killing. maniac, Benjamin Netanyahu and his IDF,
are continuing to terrorize. Lebanon. Pop up this video. This is from Dropsite News. The Israeli. army sets fire to the homes of residents. in villages in southern Lebanon. Israeli. forces carried out multiple large. detonations in Shama, a border village. in the Sour district of southern. Lebanon. Hertz cited senior IDF. commanders describing an ongoing plan to. raise Lebanese border villages several.
miles inland in an operation referred to. internally as silver plow. And so, while. all of this is happening, while Benjamin. Netanyahu is dog-walking our. dementia-ridden president, while. the Iranians are trolling us online with. these Lego videos, and Trump doesn't. know come here from sick 'em. Literally, that's how what bad shape we're in. Israel has this plan to create greater.
Israel. And in order for them to execute. this plan, they have to displace civilians, kill. civilians, carpet bomb civilian homes, and a lot of this, if not all, is. subsidized by the aforementioned. American taxpayer who is told, "Tough. titties. No social security for you. You. did everything right. You voted. You. paid your taxes. We want to privatize. it. You you lazy MFN American, you.
should have gotten a better job. No. social security for you, but blank check. to an IDF and a country who it seems to. be a feature of killing children.". >> I just look at this and what Israel is. Israel is doing and with the backdrop of. the genocide in Gaza, and I think. killing people, killing children, hurting women, making generations unable. to continue. Like I cannot see it as.
anything but trying to like get rid of. the whole population. They don't want. anyone other than Israelis to exist, and. I find that to be so vile. >> Josh. >> Yeah, it's really disturbing when you. see these images and you see what. Israel's doing to to. Lebanon. Um. but but it's also consistent with what. they've done in the past, too. And it's. it's a a lot of day-to-day Americans.
don't really understand it. I I can say. I don't to a certain extent other than. um it makes me sick and disgusted that. our country that we're aligned with. them, that that we're somewhat uh. complicit. with what they do. And uh I think that it's something that. all of our leaders need to take a look. at and we need to. uh. when we get new leadership in, we need. to sever this relationship that we have. with Israel and there needs to be a. completely different platform and.
agenda. >> Well, you cheated it perfectly, Josh, because let's do a little check-in. with the Democratic leader of the. Senate, the opposition party to all of. this, one Chuckles Schumer. Let's see. what he has to say about all of this. Pop this up. Mani Raju just asked Schumer if he is on. the wrong side of public opinion within. his own party on Israel after being in. the minority on arms sales votes and. amid comments by candidates in Michigan. Senate race. He cited Iran instead. So,
Mani Raju asked a pointed question about. Israel and the Senate leader of the. Democratic Party says, "Look, our caucus is united and focused on. ending the war in Iran.". And this is what I have to say to all. Democratic independent voters. I don't. care if you're a centrist, I don't care. if you're a corporate dem, a leftist, progressive, whatever. You can do two things at one time. You.
can want Democrats to win, to win. robustly like what happened last night. in Virginia, but we must not be in a. cult. We must. call out the war crimes and the genocide. that Israel and the United States of. America are committing, full stop. And. the audacity. of the government of Israel, these. far-right Israel groups like the ADL, the Anti-Defamation League, Chuck.
Schumer, and others to say if we. are morally outraged that little kids. are getting targeted here and here and. white phosphorus is being dropped on. civilian populations in Lebanon and we. say, "I morally outraged by this. This. is a war crime, then you think you can call us bigots? This type of diabolical psychological. gaslighting is so messed up and it needs. to stop now and Chuck Schumer has got to. go. What do you all think about that?
>> Well, we we Remember we just talked. about how the Republican Party is under. attack by trans people. >> [laughter]. >> And then we see stuff like this and you. mention the word gaslighting. Um we have. to get Democratic leaders that are clear. with clarity and a sharp voice on issues. like this that don't waffle, that don't. waver. Every time I see something that. Chuck Schumer has written or quote that. he's given just like that. He doesn't.
even address the issue. Uh there's so. much inaction. and word salad and And it. would be refreshing to get a leader that. would stand up and call a spade a spade. When it's good, it's good. When it's. bad, it's bad. But have some balls. Stand for. something. Have conviction. Don't take a. check from someone if you're going to. have to do something for them that maybe. compromises your values. Just. uh until we get that kind of clarity,
we're going to have to put up with more. and more word salad stuff like. this from Chuck Schumer and other people. in the Democratic Party. >> Completely agree. All right, you guys. That's all we have. We'll be back later. The trifecta, Pumps, Josh and me all day. today on I Hit News. Make sure you like, comment and subscribe. And I would be. remiss if I didn't point out our. uh the star of our show, Pumps, in her. dynamic Sparkle Gay Pride, glittered it. up.
Uh I love it. You look fantastic. All. right, we'll see you all later. >> Mhm.
