All right, news broadcast today Graham. Platner's campaign is unraveling. It. seems to me that there are very credible. um accusations of sexual assault popped. this up. Politico is reporting a woman who dated. Graham Platner says he sexually. assaulted her. She says, "I just want. the truth out there. I just want people. to have a whole scope of who he is as a. person." She said of the main Democrat. who has faced a string of scandals over.

past offensive online comments and. accusations of mistreating women. Platner responded, "These allegations. are troubling, serious, and false. Any. accusation of non-consensual behavior is. categorically untrue.". You know what? I heard this, it's very. disappointing. I'm just extremely. disappointed. that there these people that run for. office, they it seems to be a pattern of. sexual harassment, sexual abuse. I. wouldn't be a Republican if I ignored.

this and said, "Well, he might win. Susan Collins needs to be defeated." As. much as I want Susan Collins defeated, I. do not believe someone that is credibly. accused numerous times should hold. public office. I just don't. The woman claims Platner forced her to. have sex with him nearly 5 years ago. despite repeated objection. She detailed. the alleged incident to Politico in.

three interviews over the past 2 weeks. Politico has spoke with a man that she. dated and confided in the years after. the alleged incident and reviewed. documents including emails between her. and her therapist and messages between. her and an acquaintance whom she warned. against getting involved with Platner. years before he ran for office. For me, when you have corroborating evidence. like that, where somebody is reporting. this to somebody else in real time. And.

to me there's there's a lot of veracity. to her claims and it cannot be ignored. And as we look at politicians on our. side to me this is disqualifying. This. is just completely disqualifying. If. you've been credibly accused of rape or. of sexual assault, you're disqualified. And that's just how I feel about it. It's so unfortunate that these people. that have these secrets run. for office because now here we are in a. situation where we're fighting fascism.

and. he the people in Maine are so fed up. with Susan Collins that he was way. above, way ahead of everyone but this is. just incredibly. incredibly devastating.
