can point at somebody and then they hear. themselves just a little bit delayed and. it overpowers what they're actually. saying into jams their speech and they. end up setting a gun so you pointed at. somebody when they're speaking it just. has this like yeah it was like a speaker. and then like a microphone a speaker. that goes back to you and it makes it. way you can't talk yes and they won the. top most ignoble award and and we're. going to explore this phenomena we don't. actually have a we don't actually have a. speech jammer but I thought you know we.

have like GarageBand mm-hmm and we have. headphones that are very noise isolating. okay and so what I have done is I've. engineered a track here that link is. going to be speaking into and he will be. hearing himself speak a little bit late. and I think you will find that he. doesn't sound like the normal link so if. you'll cut those on a song yeah okay the. lights on and I thought maybe this is. our version of speech jammer so before. you begin speaking I want you to talk. about something that you know about at. links you can talk about it but it takes.

easy so I want to eat only half of it. but I it's so good that I try to eat the. whole thing and then when I get to the. halfway point it I just keep eating and. eating and before I know it I've eaten. the whole thing right but I did know. that so the next time I only try to eat. half of it but I'm still dipping and. dipping it in a bit.

uh-uh okay I didn't get to finish. basically what I do is I have to force. myself to put it away and then uh I'll. only way to know to do to do it out of. it you okay I feel like I'm going crazy. it's just driving me why I want to do it. so hurry up and tell me how you'd eat. your ice cream ah. so then I'll just take a I'll take a. spoonful and then it now I can't even.

talk in real life does that sound crazy. GarageBand and then I added an echo. effect to the track and I made the echo. like a very small fraction of a second I.

don't know exactly what it was but then. I muted you can't hear yourself at all i. muted the original track and made it. only the echo track okay and I made it. incredibly loud and then you monitor it. then you lose like really. noise-isolating headphones and so if you. sound like a and if you want to. play a trick on a friend you can get. them to say I'm gonna record you telling. a story or something then you do that. don't tell me well because I think they. want when you don't know what's. happening it's gonna be even more. anything I was a very slight delay it. because I said it on a slightly longer.

delay it makes you even crazier sounding. but it's funny we actually this is. something the speech jammer it was not. the original right inventor of this we. actually watched a radio show where you. listen to a radio show back home. john-boy and Billy we've been on the. show a few times not in North Carolina. and they used to do this with a police. officer that would come on named Donny. Presley lay off. honey Ferber and they did it to him and. they gave him the delay and they didn't. tell him how to delay and he sounded. like a absolute idiot every time they. told so did you yeah me not so much.
