Honey Boo Boo it's a new show on uh TLC. dollar makes me holla Honey Boo Boo if. you thought she was crazy I just got. made one wait till you meet the rest of. her family hold on scratch my bugs we're. not ready so basically what we're. dealing with here is a family in Georgia. that was featured on tyers and Tiaras.

we're just catching you up to speed for. those of you who don't know about this. and this little girl well I have not. seen the show I I I admittedly live. under a rock CU I I do my work and I I I. do my family time you know and that's it. that's what I do I started seeing the. news about heard the show I started. seeing the news about how this show was. actually beating the RNC the Republican. National Convention in the in ratings. okay and so I was like okay well what is. this and Jesse was like have you heard. about Honey Boo Boo and then we about. the Democratic it tied it tied and we're.

talking channel for channel so like. CNN's coverage of the DNC tied the TLC's. episode of Here Comes Honey Boo so so uh. uh the most weighty politic stuff. happening versus the most weighty. documentary of some people down in. Georgia and a daughter who is a pageant. Queen beauty pageant contestant yeah so. okay so here's the deal with the show. you've got the little girl and you got.

the mom and the dad and they're all and. and then her sisters they're all. characters now Lots has been said about. the show right and people have done. reviews on the show we're not going to. do a review on the show I will say that. a I have watched it and B I am. entertained by it I am genuinely. entertained by these people now when you. say I've watched it you've like caught a. glimpse of it or I have watched three. episodes so you you've sat down you're a. committed viewer you are a fan no it it. was on back to back to back and I sat.

down and watched it for 90 minutes I. watched three episodes in a row you were. sucked in that's it I watched three. episodes in a row and if I run into I'm. not going to schedule my life around it. but if it comes back on I will watch it. again are you tooing it uh no I'm not. toing it my wife may be oh okay so. you're just going to blame blame her. well she toot it but I'm the one who's. just soaking it all up I mean is it a. good show what's great about I'm. genuinely entertained by people and this. is something that there's lots of. reality shows about just families and.

people and you know you got like the. Duck Dynasty show that I know that you. you've watched and you like oh yeah and. then there's other. ones we have found thatn Honker I enjoy. the show when they just let the people. be the people and they just when they do. the interviews especially the interviews. are not scripted I don't like the. reality shows where the interviews are. to obviously they're just reading. something and they can't read very well. and then they're obviously reading and. it seems like it's just being made up. these people I don't think that I don't. think those people are reading like I.

think that they've been fed a line and. they're regurgitating it and I yeah I'm. really sensitive to that I can pick up. on it so that was a question I was going. to ask knowing that the interviews are. just off the cuff these people totally. being themselves I I that matters a lot. to me like when the mom begins to have a. sneeze attack during an interview they. just let the sneeze attack play out. pageants are very very expensive it is. not a cheap sport by any mean I go to. like our local like auction just to save. money anywhere we can cuz they things. like do get spit.

so what I really want to talk about is. the connection that I have with this. family that you may not know about link. you've been calling up Honey Boo Boo. Honey Boo Boo that doesn't seem. appropriate is my daughter no okay. that's not true. um I am from I was born in the same.

place where the show takes place Mak. Georgia I was born in mon Georgia now. this family lives in Mcintyre Georgia. which is right outside of mon but I. noticed on one episode that chiad the. 17-year-old daughter who is pregnant by. the way 17 and Pregnant okay could be. worse she could be 16 or 15 impr. pregnant okay she would have a different. show uh they take her to the mon. hospital this is the hospital that I was. born in really so this girl is going to. have her out of wedlock child at 17 at.

the at the hospital that I was born in. and it hit me as I was watching the show. as I was being entertained by three. episodes. consecutively this could have been me I. could be chick's baby because also as a. youngster you entered yourself into many. beauty. pageants no oh you didn't want to share. that part of the story true okay just. think about this for a second because. you know when I was 3 years old I moved. to California and then we moved from. California to North Carolina where I met.

you in first grade and it just hit me I. started thinking what if I had never. moved I could be the dad whose nickname. is sugar bear eventually one day Alana. could be Miss. [Music]. America now you've told me about this. guy this guy when he does his unscripted. interviews he actually falls asleep. during the interview well they do they. do this thing where they put the family. on the couch and they interview him and. he's always nodding off the whole time. sugar bear great guy we got too much. Esten in the house need some uh test.

sugar bear sugar bear could be you if in. an alternate version of life like in a. Back to the Future scenario you being. born and making if you grew up there you. and never left that could be you yeah. you could have your own daughter who. could be uh honey booo here's the. interesting thing not only could I be. sugar bear but here you know we've we've. moved to Los Angeles we're making a go. at it in the entertainment industry we. had a television show it got canceled if. if I had a stayed in mon I'd have a.

television show right now I'd be sugar. bear I'd have a television show but. think about this kind of the first shall. be last kind of thing what if instead of. me moving to North Carolina to meet you. you I was in mon Georgia you had moved. to mon to join me it would be like I'm. sugar bear and you're like gummy bear. and we'd be like buddies and we'd have. our own show oh okay okay so so what do. we want to do we want to invite these. people in the comments to brainstorm. with us.

uh if if if if there was the alternate. version of Rhett who never left Min and. I joined him there in first grade right. now what kind of television show could. we have sugar bear and gummy gummy bear. yeah think about it we'd be like nodding. off and burping during our interviews. and sne I am a gummy bear my kids sing. that song a lot well yeah but that's not. I'm not talking about that kind of not. the brand gum I'm talking about a. redneck like a guy with no teeth just. gums sugar bear sugar bear and G bear. that's why they call me G bear I'm only. 34 years old but I don't have no teeth.

see gums a gum stuff that's what that's. why they call them a gummy bear we could. have our own show all right so what. would the show be I you would have a. daughter and a beauty pad no no no no. let's not do that let's do something. different you let us know what to do you. can also illustrate it as like a picture. I know you guys like to do that we love. to see those on the community um well. you could sell. Confections like fried dough at the fair. and stuff no like candies I mean the. sugar bear and gummy bear should be. selling candy together we'd have a candy.

store out of a van or something prob the. C the candy van kids hey little kids. come over to the back of my man I got. some tappy you want some tappy I can't. say tappy correctly cuz I don't have any. teeth I only have gums and you could. like you could for like 50 Cent you. could let you could gum a kid's finger. or something like that I'mma gum your. finger for 50 they stick their finger. put your finger in there boy and they G. it for 50 cents let me give me finger. I'll give you some free tappy if you're. gumming little kid' fingers though I.

think they like they they call the cops. I don't sound like a 34 year old I sound. like a 84 year old don't I but it's I. had an accident with my teeth I went to. the dentist and they didn't know what. they were doing he started hacking away. pulled all my teeth out I woke up out of. anesthesia and I said what I got to get. out of here that's that's the origin. story of gummy bear that's me no I think. I think we should open a uh a redneck. water park like one in our backyard out.

a PVC pipe and then invite kid it's all. about kids coming over it's kind of. creepy creep kids in danger hey kids. going to come over to my water park how. would you what do you mean I bet out a. big p big PVC pip in the backyard you. mean they're sliding in the PVC pip yeah. like we could hook garden hoses up to it. charge ADM Mission make a killing they. don't make they don't make PVC pipe big. enough for a child maybe like an infant. like a newborn talk it's a water par for. newborns no no no I'm talking about like. culbert bring your new BNS you know how.

when you drive over a bridge and. sometimes underneath the bridge I got. three pipes that look like. cits like I'm talking like a big pipe. like big enough for a toddler to go. through even an adult a small. adult you know I make a water park out. of those and invite kids to come over. and then you can s ta it this is um this. could work think about how good of a. reality show this would be that's a good. idea sugar bear and gummy bear is water. we missed our opportunity you should. have called me from down hey just come.
