Going Back To School

it's back to school time and it's back. to GMM time let's talk about. School grade school something like that. in the United States of America you get. this and around the world for those of. you going back to school this may be. your first day you can do it we're here. to help we can talk about that we can.

talk about some some of our own. experiences I think I think this can be. a communal thing here well this is what. the kids are doing I've been seeing the. back to school like the Kmart. commercials a lot of the kids are doing. this what do you call that that's called. a popped Co overtight popped collar. called it's called buttoned up and. popped up it's called button and popped. up you know what it's called all the. kids are into you know what you should. call it a mistake.

all right listen whenever we would start. school I'm talking about elementary. school I don't know did your mom do this. did your mom do this she would put me up. in my in my first day of school gear and. then she put me at the end of the. hallway and she would take my photo. first day of kindergarten first day of. first grade you'd have your backpack I'd. have my backpack your new Trapper Keeper. your coffee mug did you take a thermos. to school I did thermos with like. spaghetti o in it yeah I do you remember. that yeah I would I would steal it from. from you I had a thermos that was lined. in glass because somehow glass would. keep things warmer I dropped it first.

Wilson in cars or something three two. one chaa cha cha okay sit back down. let's re let's reminisce about our first. days of uh of school what I distinctly. remember the attitude that I would bring. uh to a new year I I remember one year I. had my cubert Trapper Keeper now cubert. is a do they know what this is but. that's what the it's a it's a trendy.

video game from way back and I had um. and they don't know what a Trapper. Keeper is either it was where you put. you put the papers in it's a three-sided. notebook with velcro they still have. that enough said they still have this. yeah they do that but they put the iPad. in there they trap and keep an iPad in. there now I also had. braces uh and I had remember thinking on. the first day of school my brace my. braces rubber bands are going to match. my.

shirt blue shirt blue bands you I. remember thinking I didn't have braces I. remember thinking a lot about what what. I was going to wear you know kind of. like this episode I got up this morning. I was like what's the first day of gym. and what am I going to wear I saw that. you had on that shirt so I had to change. my shirt to something that didn't look. like we I was wearing green I had to. change it cuz this is important I. actually cut my hair this morning this. morning I've never cut my hair in the. morning I was like oh man I never got to. that I thought something was different. Good Mythical Morning it l like a.

season 4 yeah it's still a work in. progress but you know it's it was. important I remember back in elementary. school I would be so nervous about. school you know you were an anxious. child I I was I mean I bet you I bet you. were just thinking oh this is going to. be great I can't wait to get back I was. like this is the year that I'm going to. maintain my position on top of the. pyramid not as a cheerleader as cubert. it was a pyramid in Cuba an analogy what. are you talking about maintain your. position at thep the social pyramid man.

you climbing the social pyramid he was I. was definitely the tallest one okay I'll. I'll grant you that so you'll maintain. your position as being the tallest. weirdest looking I hope a taller boy. moving in town over to the summer in. middle school I mean I but you had you. were overconfident about the whole thing. you had I brought the confidence every. year I remember you would talk to me at. the pool You' be like is you know school. starting yeah new girls in town new. girls in town yeah got to be dating up. those girls and you were and you would. do it what are you going to wear on the.

first day but the first day for you was. it was like it was like a it was like a. celebration of the rest of your life. yeah right for me it was it's like Doom. I I just remember my mom taking the. picture and I was like every I wish I. had some pictures I don't to show you. but you could just see the Doom in my. eyes I don't know why I would just be so. Doom and Gloom and high anxiety about. the whole thing do you feel that way. today I do I have pit stains I had on. old do I have any um I would I would.

just think oh who what class am I going. to be in what's the teacher going to be. like who are my friends going to be this. year how is this going to work uh and. you know where am I going to be on the. social pyramid I didn't think in terms. of a social pyram it was going to be all. the same all the same kids I mean we. were in the same class with the same 30. children for k through eight if you. don't recall it wasn't it was like in. seventh grade if you were the guy that. shaved your whole face with a razor when. you come back in eighth grade everybody. still remembers that uh I know you're.

talking are we G to say his name I think. you just call him David B David B okay. David B uh this might have been sixth. grade it was kind of it was before you. were supposed to shave I remember this. guy come came to school one day and we. never forgot it for years to come that's. my point is that he had shaved his face. he had decided to take his father's. razor and shave but he didn't just shave. where your beard is if you looked. closely you could tell Dave did you did. you shave your forehead he shaved his.

forehead cuz he had peach fuzz up there. a lot I think he was probably doing the. right thing he had peach fuzz on the. forehead his nose I wonder what it looks. like today he had Peach fuz on his nose. let's look him up on Facebook I think he. probably is in a freak Show because he. has hair going cuz it grows back thick. shouldn't I mean David B Google David B.
