Flavored Oxygen Taste Test

What does flavored canned oxygen taste like? Let's talk about that. Good Mythical Morning. You know what the best part about oxygen is? Well, it's free. And. I guess the second best thing is that it keeps us alive. Yes, it does help us stay alive, but it's not all free. The devil you say. Yes. Canned oxygen has taken the world by storm.

And as if that wasn't wild enough, they're selling this stuff in a whole slew of weird flavors. And, you know, that's where we come in. It's time for O Two Taste Test. For. Me, From a Can, It Would Seem. Okay, gas bags. Today you'll be tasting and ranking six different flavors from the most popular. canned oxygen brand on the market. Boost. And if you want to go ahead and take a look at your ranking options.

and read them all out for me, please. Oh, yeah. Starting at the bottom, we've got Total. Nightmare. Inhale No! Just O Two K, Has a Certain Oxy-Je Ne Sais Quoi. Inhale Yeah. And. The Fresh Prince of Canned Air. Wow. We have the power. to name The Fresh Princed of Canned Air. The Fresh Princed? Yes. In the past tense.

Yes. Okay, so we're gonna kind of establish a little bit of a baseline here. There's a Natural. flavor you're gonna try first. Okay. You got them. I've never done this. I did not know this was the thing until, what, two minutes ago? Well, we did that oxygen bar taste test. Yeah, but I didn't know it was in a can. You get it in a can, now. All right. This cost nine dollars, for three liters. Like there's nothing in here. And they literally, at some point, I don't know if it's on here. Yeah, it says it's light.

on purpose, because oxygen doesn't weigh anything. Yeah. It doesn't mean it's empty. And this was like a Shark Tank thing. Place mask under the nose and over the mouth. Check. Well, but I don't want to talk a little bit about it because I just. I'm a little bit scared of it. And also. Press trigger down and activate flow. You can't, like, poison yourself with too much oxygen because there's people that just, like, sit around and connect it to oxygen all the time, who have, like, trouble breathing. So it's just like, if you've got normal breathing,

maybe this gives you, like. I mean, it says altitude and poor air quality. We live in LA. We've got poor air quality, aerobic performance. We're always moving. But if you. If you like, if you go for, like, a high altitude hike. Yeah. Or a ski. Be like. That could work. Repeat three to five times as desired. That's breathing deeply through the mouth. Well, let's give it a shot. I mean. Oh. So you just? Well, breathe out first. I don't know if I can get a good seal.

Does my voice sound the same? It just feels like. No taste. It doesn't feel right. Maybe I need a lighter or something. No, no, no. It is flammable. Hold on, but, like, what are you expecting to feel like? At least something. I don't taste anything. I feel like I'm breathing. Well, that's the Natural thing. The next thing is the Calm flavor, which is lavender.

So you can. You're not even ranking this one. This is just for you to try out, and then you should be able. to taste. the rest. And then, look, how much is three liters? That's money, money, money, man. Put it in your mouth. I'll save this for later. All right, so now, first up, we're going with Calm. It's lavender. So. is it? I'm gonna inhale this lavender crap? Yes, that's what we're doing. Hey, you've been getting lavender lattes lately, though. I have, but I don't inhale it literally.

You do. Do you smell it? Oh, yeah. That's true. Yeah. Like, a lavender feel. Smelling is eighty percent of taste. Okay. I feel like I'm getting a slight headache. Is that. It's in my mind, isn't it? It's literally in my head. I'm getting a little bit of headache, too. It's just breathing too deeply all at once. Okay. Let's give it a taste. Yes. Spa like. It's lavender. I feel so relaxed. Oh, man.

It feels like I'm at. a resort, maybe, or I'm driving through that one part of central California. There's a lavender field, and they got signs that says, stop here, and then once you drive past it, it says, turn around and stop there. I've driven past, but I've never driven past while the lavender is blooming. But I don't need to now because I have this, five liters. There's five percent ambient air in here as well. I quite like this. I do quite like it.

I'm not going to put it all the way at number one, but I will put it at number two. Let's put them right beside each other in case we need to grab them, and. put the. Put the brand forward, even though it is not a sponsor. Peppermint. Revived. Ooh, I think I'm gonna like this. Still ninety-five percent oxygen compared to the twenty-one percent that I'm. currently just breathing in here. Yep. Of course. in here. I mean, I think the ratio of farts that we're breathing in here.

Come on. Are y'all farters? We might be at twenty percent. Right. Why do you do this? Well, you know, Link, my favorite. cosmetic journal, the Journal of Cosmetics. They did a scientific study. That's good. In twenty nineteen. They found that. Boost Oxygen, specifically, one, increases blood oxygen saturation. You want that. Two, increases measure of redness in skin color,

and three, increases. skin. pallor. So as I do this, notice if my pallor increases. I don't know what that means. Okay. If you get red. What's pallor, though? I think it's, I think it's your race. I'm gonna get more white if I do this? Yeah. Oh, I like this one, because it tastes like food. You know what I'm saying?

It has a little bit of like a. Like the bark from. What does it do to my breath? Breathe my breath. It's twenty-one percent. I'm not comfortable with that. It's. It's not. Oh, it doesn't burn. It's not that level of peppermint. I like this one better than the lavender because it doesn't taste like I'm just. putting my mouth right up to a diffuser. Yeah, that's true. It has a candy like quality. I'm used to this. Well. What is pallor? I'm kind of. It's a color, man. Pallor is color. Well, how's that different than redness?

It's. paleness. Paleness. Increases paleness and redness? I don't know if I agree with you, but I'm gonna move it here for now. For the time being. I feel like my voice is getting more power. I keep thinking that I'm gonna start talking higher, because. every time I put my mouth on something like this, it's usually helium. Not that I do it all the time. What happened when Mary fell? She eventually rose. Rosemary. I don't know.

Okay, rosemary. Oh, it's kind of like lavender, but. But more like rosemary. More bushy, some bigger bush. Combining the rosemary aroma. and pure oxygen. combines the two most effective, all natural inhalable cognitive supporters. In fact, Link, a twenty twenty-two pilot study, again for Boost Oxygen. I guess they paid for these studies. We're not pilots, though. Found a fifteen percent improvement in word recall,

a fifteen percent improvement in alertness, and a thirty percent improvement of contentedness. Maybe we should start huffing this stuff right before we do a show. That's what I'm thinking. Like, by the end of this episode. Specifically Rosemary. I can probably remember our crew members names. I can remember a word from the last round. Pallor. There you go. You remember what it means? No one really was able to tell me. I don't understand it still. It just means, like, you know, like,

liveliness of complexion, you know, looking alive. Now, do you feel contented, like thirty percent better than you did a moment ago? My head hurts a little bit. I'm not sad at all. I'm not sad about it, but I. You seemed a little bit sad at the beginning of this. It just doesn't feel like this is something I should be doing. in public. Well, I'm not gonna do. Or at all, like, but, okay. Yeah. This is just when you want to do a crossword puzzle, you're all by yourself. Well, I think I would do it. I think you take this on a hike.

If you did this at the top of a peak, no one would say anything. They'd be like, oh, I wonder. What's wrong with him. Should he be up here if he has to. huff paint when he gets to the top? It's too floral. Yep. I agree. Don't love it as much. Don't love it as much. But let's do that. I don't want to be huffing your can. We could probably. sell these at one of those Grateful Dead shows. outside on the way. out. If you put it in a balloon, they'll buy it.

New, exciting things are added every single week.

You would not believe. how much exclusive content is over there at mythicalsociety. com. You can join for just six dollars. Check it out. Pink grapefruit. They call this Balance. Okay. It's interesting that they're, it's the flavor that then makes you. like it sends you in different directions, makes you more focus. They want the rosemary for more focus. Well, it's aromatherapy mixed with the oxygen, so that's. That's like, I don't know if it's legitimate.

But that's the. There's the science of aromatherapy, right? I know that lavender. Lavender is supposed to calm you down. It's relaxing. But at the same time, if you want to go to the gym and. use lavender, I don't think that's a problem. Yeah, it's wrong for the gym. Can you see people in the gym doing this? Have you seen people in a gym? You don't go to the gym? I don't go to the gym. Anybody been to the gym and seen people doing this? Does anybody here go to the gym? You all just sit around and fart all the time. But I know all of your names. I'm out. I'm out.

Shake it. It started working. I don't know. I just. I tweaked it out a little bit, and now it doesn't work. Oh, be gentle. There it is. It's back. Up to one hundred one second inhalations. That's a lot of inhalations. Maybe, let's do some head math. Two plus two? Four. Four plus eight. Twelve. Four times eight.

Thirty-two. Eight plus thirty-two? Forty. Why does your head do that every time? I'm a computer and I'm accessing the parts of my brain that I need. You need to do what they do. when you're on hold with somebody. That's. Well, you try that. You take some? Two plus one. Three. Three times four. Twelve. Four times seven. Twenty-eight. Thirty-seven plus twelve. There's, fifty-nine.

Thirty-seven plus twelve? Forty-nine. Hit me. A hundred. A hundred. A hundred equals a hundred. You can't get nothing past them boys. I was always waiting for just that type of math test. Like, can you repeat a number? Hey, he remembered what I said. Yeah, word recall. Pink. Better than Rosemary.

Oh, but this comes out. I like the Pink Grapefruit. I like it all right. It's subtle. I actually like it better than Lavender, but I feel like you really like it. I really love Lavender. We got a bigger one. It's giving insect repellent. This one is. ten liters. It Sports oxygen. Does it got Deet? No, it cost eighteen dollars. It is orange scented. And I said, these are seven dollars, but these are actually.

Twelve dollars. Twelve dollars. Eleven ninety-nine, to be specific. I feel like a human computer right now. Yeah, you do. up to two hundred inhalations. Two hundred if you do one second burst, though. That's a one second burst. They want athletes to use these. I've been doing, well, athletes are using them right now. Even the thing. Why is this part bigger, too? It's too big. I don't like that about it. Really? The size of this one is good for me. I think the only way to really understand how useful this. is is to get really winded.

Oh, well, I ain't doing that. Yeah, who's gonna do that? You know what I'm saying? Like, you're talking about a football player who just had a long run and they. wanna get back in the game. They're like. And then they're ready to get back in the game. What we're doing, I think the reason why we have a headache is because. we're hyperventilating, but we're hyper oxygenating. Yeah, there's nothing wrong with that. But just breathing real fast. Check out this math. One thousand. One thousand. Yeah. I usually don't like the orange flavor of things,

but this orange flavored nothing is pretty good. As long as it's orange flavored nothing. Because it seems like it's like. Refreshing. You kind of hit your tongue with it a little bit more. I think we need to start going to the gym so I can spot you. And when you're down there, I'm just like. You're lifting something. Yeah, yeah, I like that. It's just like giving you nitrous or something. I like this one. This is a really good one. It's better than lavender. Yes. Oh, you agree? Yes.

I don't know if it can be better. Definitely better than. I think it's better than peppermint. You do? I think we're gonna put it at number one. Well, can we do peppermint side by side? I love that, because it feels like I'm freshening my breath at the same time. That's a good point. It's like I just. Move it to number one. Had some gum. Yeah. And lavender isn't. Yeah, it feels like I'm chewing on fabric softener. Yep. I knew you'd come around. So. this is where we're at right now. But it appears that we have one more.

Menthol Eucalyptus. So this. soothes your airways, and promotes. respiratory. supportage. So, this might be good if you feel like you're. under the weather. Like if you're having a head cold or something. You can't breathe well. Your throat hurts. Opens you up a little bit. Your lungs hurt. Ooh. Also very spa like. Man, I feel like if I did lavender next to it, it would be. Basically, it's the same as a massage.

I love this better. They're both a little strong. Yeah, they are strong. I like eucalyptus. I think I'm part koala. What? Oh, don't do that. I want both at the same time. I want to mix, but I gotta seal. There you go.

You must be part koala. Try it. Yeah. Get them in there. Hit it. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. That's too long. But pretty nice, isn't it? It's pretty good. That's pretty good. I think lavender. is really moving down. Yes. I think. I can't believe I'm saying it. I thought pink grapefruit. But I really like. Yeah, well.

Try it again. It's subtle, it's fruity. Mine's broken. It's everything that orange is, but pink. Yeah. I love lavender for coffees and pillows, but I don't. And, I don't love it for. For this and, that right there. So. The definitive ranking and. The Fresh Prince of Canned Air.

The best. air that you can, can and give to yourself. Peppermint. Yes. Freshen your breath and. increase your performance. in and out of the bedroom. Now, listen, I have never had so much fun breathing. Oh, yeah. This is a good application. Bedroom. Bedroom application. Twenty-four. Twenty-four. Thanks for subscribing and clicking that bell.
