Do TikTok Shop Products Really Work?

- Which of these products should we buy from TikTok Shop? - Let's talk about that. (light music). Good Mythical Summer! - This just in, TikTok still hasn't been banned, which means there are still questionable products. being peddled right to your eyeballs all over the platform. - And we bought a ton of 'em. It's time for, "TikTok Made Me Buy It.".

(bright instrumental music). - [Stevie] Okay boys, first up, this is an electric portable hot pot sold by Dezin Direct. It allows you to cook anywhere from the bed of your room, to the bed of your truck, without the exterior. ever getting too hot to touch. Check it out. - Oh, look at this. A highly edited TikTok. (meat sizzling). Yes. - Cooking in bed, cooking in bed. - Right there beside the laptop, on the comforter.

- College students in 2025. Am I right? - You are so right. Eating on a paper plate, am I right? - So I have one here. - Why not just. eat out of the pot? - You have one there, it costs 27.90 in the TikTok shop. - That's not too bad. - Let me see the bottom. - Now it's hot. - Can I see the bottom? - Yeah, so it's got like a fan down there. Now you can feel the- - Oh, that's a what, a fan? - [Rhett] Well, I mean, it's got some sort of. heat release, you know? - Okay. - You can feel the heat emanating from this thing,

but I wouldn't say that it's-. - But I can hold it. Ooh. - Well you can't. - I can. - Oh, actually, you know what, you can. you can put your hands hands on it. - Oh, oh, oh. It's not as hot as it goes. - Well, it's been on for a little bit now. Let's, grab me that bacon. - Here you go, man. - Would you like a bacon, sir? - Yeah, man. - Are you a college student? - Yeah, man. - In 2025? - Yeah, yeah. I'm studying bacon frying in bed 101. - Pay no attention. Good, there we go. - So what?

- I put that bacon in there. Okay. - Okay? - I thought you did great. - Okay. Ever seen bacon cook? - So this is for people. - Ever seen bacon cook? - Without. stoves? - You know, chances are one person out there. has never seen bacon cook. And I'm showing it to 'em for the first time. - It could be me. - Think about what, what would it be like to be that person? You know what? I don't think I've ever seen it cook. - If you got a air fryer and this pot, maybe you still need a oven.

If you wanna bake something, but a stove top? You don't need a stove top. - Let's make this. more interesting. You got a blanket? Did you bring your blanky? - Yeah. - It'll be fine. - Am I gonna put it in my lap? - No, you can put it right here. on the cooking surface on my side. - There you go. That's like your comforter. So you're doing that, and that's just, look at that. - You take this to college, huh? - This is how it's advertised by some college student. - You took this to college? - [Link] Oh yeah, this is the best thing to have in college. - [Rhett] You got some green stuff on it.

- A little dog bed. - St. Patrick's Day? - That is from my nail polish. - Okay. Oh, you're one of those college students? Okay. - Seems to be working. Are the reviews good? The thing costs $28 is not bad for a pot. - Tongs would've been nice. - Spin on pot. Here, throw some eggs in there. - [Director] The reviews are pretty dang good. It's a 4.6 out of five star rating. So people are loving it. - I'm trying to. turn the bacon over, but I wasn't given tongs.

- Oh, it smells delicious. - Come on. - They don't allow them in my dorm. - That's a little bit of egg shell in there. What level is this thing on right now? It looks like it about 25%. - Entry. - So it can get a lot hotter. - No, it's on, it's on high. - Oh, that's all the way? - Yeah. You think you can flip with it? You think you can flip it? - Probably. - You like this blanket? - Probably.

- [Rhett] I don't think it flipped yet. - Flip this out here. - I can't 'cause it's, okay. - Well that looks good. - Okay. - You gonna eat it? - All I got's a knife now. - I don't know how you feel about it. You know, I like it. - It's so hot. - Doesn't look great. We got other things to review, man. It's just a pot that gets hot, but not too hot to put on a blanket.

- Have you heard about editing? Hmm hmm. Try a little bit, it's so fresh. - Do you like the pot? - Yeah, but not unless my friend likes it. - Yeah, I love it. I love the pot. I don't want to eat that. - Well, I'm not gonna say what I think about it. unless you eat it. - That's fine. Well, it turns out I don't care. - [Rhett] Well then I hate it. - TikFlops. (buzzing).

- [Director] Next up we have a moving fish toy. sold by New Gal Commerce. It's designed to be a cat toy. According to the TikTok you're about to see, it can also be used to soothe babies. - Oh, by strapping it to the baby? - And the light spanking? - It's just spanking a little newborn. And that is a real newborn, isn't it? It's not one of those dolls, is it? - [Director] It is indeed real. Well, I mean, as far as we can tell, it's real. Fish only costs 9.24.

- 9.24? - You unzip it and then you turn it on. And cats, cats are like, oh, I want to kill that dying fish. - Is this some sort of diaper? - Oh, you have a baby. (baby crying). Oh, look at our baby. - Hello baby. - This is not for a baby. This is for a person. This is for a large person. This is for an adult. (baby crying).

- I know, I think it's a you swaddle, like you wrap and you wrap and wrap. You know, you tight wrap. - Shut up. - But it is a little-. large for that baby. - Okay, okay, okay. - You're getting a fish spanking. because you won't stop crying. There you go. That's good. You stopped crying and the fish also died. Oh, the fish isn't dead, look. (baby crying). Okay. All right. Oh good. - Not real sure how that works. - Look at the dying fish.

(baby crying). - I think mine's gonna be a little bit different. - This baby has the most uninterested look on its face. Like, look. (baby crying). I think mine's going for, this is the most couldn't be bothered baby ever. (baby crying). It's not crying. It's uninterested. - Come on fish. - It's completely unimpressed. (person screaming). - I think my baby likes it. My grandma used to throw a bass in my crib.

- Is my baby screaming like an adult man? - Is that coming from your baby? - Yes. (person screaming). - Yeah, his baby doesn't like it. (baby crying). Y'all's grandma didn't throw bass in y'all's cribs? (baby crying). That's how I learned how to clean a fish. Well. - Hush little baby don't cry anymore. Daddy's gonna cover you in a flapping dead fish.

- Let me just say for $9, I would expect it to just keep flapping the whole time. And it doesn't, it flaps when it wants to. (baby crying). I want it to flap the whole time that I want it to flap. and I don't want it to stop. You couldn't just hold it over your baby. If you need to lightly wake a baby up. (baby belching). What is wrong with your baby? - The baby make a poop. The baby's pooping. - Yeah, turn your baby sideways. Your baby's got gas. Hold on. Fan, I'm gonna fan it away.

- Whoo. (baby farting). whoa, that baby been consuming something. You been getting into the kitty litter again? (baby crying). - So I don't know if I can endorse this. - It's cheap though, dude. - Because I don't know. I know about this, you start strapping a fish with your baby. What's the next thing you're gonna do? - Can you take the skin part, can you zip it all the way off? - Oh, and what? - I don't know.

What does it look like? - No, it just has a hole and then it has the battery pack. - This could be used for-. (crew laughing off camera). - Why don't you just, put it here. - I can just wake you up lightly. - And put it in my, turn it off. Turn it off and put it, and turn this one off. Good God. - Okay, so just bite, bite lightly on that. - Put it in my mouth, and then I want to get a little-. - Well, I thought you were gonna,

if you could bite lightly on it. No, it's not gonna hurt. Now, new technique. Bite lightly on that. - Ow, that does hurt. - Oh, sorry. - It's better to put it in your mouth. (laughing off camera). - Okay (indistinct).

Stop. - Cheek aeration. - So what we're gonna say is, buy the fish, take this out, put it in your mouth. TikRocks. (light instrumental music). - Next up we have the Deep Squat Machine. sold by Murok. It makes squatting easier by providing a bar. to hook your feet under. and added support at the knee and back. Let's take a look.

- Okay. - Wow. - She's hiding her face with a hood. Does that mean she's... - She's doing weighted squats. - ...Embarrassed to be endorsing this product? - Okay, this is quite a view. - I mean, okay. We could do that, right? - Here's the thing. Some people say, a lot of people say, your knees shouldn't go over your toes when your squat. I actually don't think that's true. - Like, what do you mean?

- I mean, look up the knees over toes guy. I mean, I don't know. I'm not a doctor or a physical therapist. But let's just assume that you don't want your knees. to go over your toes. In times past, before this machine, you had to call a friend. Let's demonstrate. If you had to call a friend. - Friend? Friend? - [Rhett] Your knees are still over your toes a little bit, come on back, come on back. And then now you're up. - Now I'm up now. - Now you're down. - Now I'm down. - And now you're up.

- I think we're in a potential teabag situation. - Yeah, so. - Of your hands. - If you don't think that would be comfortable. - And it wasn't. - You need one of these. - It wasn't at all. So Rhett. - You want, you wanna do it? - I want, you want, I want. - I'll do it. - I want you. You want us? We want everything? - Now, I don't know if it's built for a big man. I don't know if it's built for a big man. - There's a 300 pound limit. How much, can you get up?

- Oh, I like the way it rolls. - Is it doing anything? - I like the way it rolls on my booty. - Is it helping you? - No. - You just sat down on it. - I feel like you should be able to go down fast. It is pretty sturdy. - It's 66.48 is how much it costs. - Give me weights. - But is it helping? - It's helping me not put my knees over my toes.

- But you don't sit down all the way. Don't do that. - Why? - Keep the pressure. You're making the machine fart. - Hey, oh rat. No, that's not the machine. You wanna try it? - I can tell you're not farting. because the fart would happen on the upswing, not on the downswing. - So, I think I'm a little bit too big for it.

- Oh yeah, oh, when I get right there, - I don't fully understand how this is helpful. - Because he's not, his knees aren't going over his toes. Now when I'm just here doing this, my knees are going over my toes. in order for me to not fall backwards. But, they say you shouldn't do that. But like I said, I don't think it matters. - But also are you exerting, with the thing, do you feel the squat?

Like, is the exercise working? - I don't feel like it's helping. - Well, it's helping. - When you get down there, I do feel a little. - Very, very little bit. - Yeah, like I can stay in this position. for a long time. - Can you change the tension? - I'm not seated, I'm here. - Can you change the tension? So you can make it stronger. Oh, so you can work it. You can work up. - And what are these for? - Yeah, it's for that.

Am I doing this or different? - [Rhett] Yeah. - I dunno what that is. - That's good. Hold on. - Ow, that hurt my collar bone. - Oh really? - Rolled right over it. See if you can do a different one. You know it gets real fun. when you try the different positions. Hey, there you go. Yeah, there you go, now just waggle it. - [Rhett] Oh, that's a little, that's not gonna do it. That's not comfortable.

- I don't think that this is justified. - I will say a lot of people have gotten this. and it's gotten pretty good reviews. But as far as we're concerned, TikFlops. (buzzing). (light instrumental music). On the weekend, we let the Mythical crew. go buck wild on this set. in a show. - And this channel. - That they call Good Mythical Weekend. Yes, it's on this channel every Saturday. Make sure you watch it. - Good Mythical Weekend. - Finally, we have the automatic. Shoe Cover Dispenser sold by Slow Fizz.

Simply step on it. and it covers the sole of your shoe in a protective film. that prevents your shoe from spreading its dirt elsewhere. Let's take a look. - Bare feet. Why was it bare feet? - Well, you can do shoes too. - [Link] Good. - Oh, okay. - I am intrigued with-. - You're not one of those guys that, there's a lot of people. who don't let you wear the shoes inside the house. - Well that's a Japanese tradition.

- Yeah, are you Japanese? - No. I wish. - But it is. There's many Americans as well who this trend has caught on. and the rest of the world. just thinks that we're crazy 'cause-. - Wearing shoes in the house, - I wear my shoes into my bedroom. I wear 'em all over the place. And it's probably not a great thing. and I don't like to think about it. - Yeah, I don't do that. I have house shoes that I wear in the house. - [Rhett] So I'm gonna get this foot dirty. - But there's also other applications, like if you're a real estate agent.

and people are like, you're showing a house, you don't want strangers taking off their shoes. - This is what it's like to be in an American house. - Yeah. I am in America and I'm walking on this. - You see what our houses look like. Well, it's crazy. Could you pull my little sheet thing in here? What do you call it? - Roll of film. It can be used 600 times. Also, It costs 69.60.

- $69. I love that. So how does it, how well does it work? - Did that work? - Nope. - Did I do it wrong? - Your foot is too wet. - Okay. You try it. - Well now you gotta get that off. Oh, and now I'm making a mess everywhere. - [Rhett] And now it's not even wide again. - And what is this for? - [Rhett] But now you made it too narrow. - All right, I've dried my foot.

I think a wet foot just doesn't work. See, mine didn't work either. Well, we've just discovered that your foot can't be wet. - I'm going in raw. - I've actually had some luck over here. now that I've followed the up. But I'm, what are you doing? - Well, I'm just trying to get it, I'm just trying to get it on. - Well, the problem is you have to know how to use this.

- [Rhett] Well yeah, that's clear. - And so you can't just have strangers from off the street. coming into the house that you're showing. and expect them to be able to do this. But if you get it right, look, it works. - [Rhett] Oh, you did it. Now I've de-bladed over here and now I've re-bladed. I think my technique is gonna be, I pull some out. - It ain't nothing but saran wrap for your shoes. - [Rhett] And then I do that.

- I take that. Look at that. Then look, you want some of this? I gotta go over here, get some of yours. Get some of yours. - [Rhett] Yours sucks. Mine's good, dude. Look, okay let me try yours. I got something. - Here, here you go. Now. Okay, let me pull this out.

- I want to experience the magic. - Now pull it up. Now pull it down. Stop being such, such a-. (crew laughing). - Nobody's gonna notice. - Bad boy. - Nobody's gonna notice I didn't put it on. - You're being a bad boy. - I wasn't trying to be funny. I was just trying to take my foot out of it. - [Link] But you're trying to be bad. Oh gosh. This, I mean, this is just as hard as working. with regular saran wrap.

- I think you just put plastic bags on your feet. if you wanted, you know, not be an American. And then if you're an American, just keep walking around. and make your house dirty. It all evens out. - Just, real estate agency. You need to give house shoes to everybody. - Yeah, those things. - That would be cool. It's like a gift. - Thanks for commenting and sharing this video. - TikFlop is what we were saying. - Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. - About that. - [Rhett] I didn't even think it was worse talking about. - [Link] I just wanted to be clear that's what we're doing. But yeah, you're on the right track. I do want to thank them for commenting and-.
