Cheap vs. Expensive Sandwich Taste Test
What would this show look like if A.I. were in charge? Let's talk about that. ((Intro Music)). Good Mythical Morning! At this point in history, A.I. is pretty knowledgeable, but you know what? It's still kind of dumb. Yeah, and we have let A.I. completely plan this show a few times before, but. since the last time, A.I. has gotten significantly more advanced.
It's crazy how quickly. it is advancing. So to honor the A.I. who will eventually be perfected. to a point in which it controls our every move! We're gonna make fools of ourselves and A.I. by. going through a few of its dumb little ideas. It's time for A Robot Made Me Do It, Part 7. - [Stevie] Okay, guys, here's how today's game is gonna work. After you've gone through our best interpretation of. an A.I. generated GMM episode idea, you'll determine if. that idea was an A.I. all hail or an AI big fail.
And A.I. has already told me that you don't have. any questions, so why don't you just go ahead. and read the title of the first episode idea. Okay, it's time for Guess How Much I Spent on a Sandwich. Oh, that's pretty straightforward. I could have come up with that myself. I'm intrigued. I've asked that before. Hey, how much did you spend on that sandwich? That you handed me. I don't know, maybe we should guess. - [Stevie] Okay, so in this game there will be three sandwiches. we purchased from real restaurants around town.
Whoever's guess is closest to the actual price of each. sandwich takes the point. But before we begin I'd like to introduce who's. presenting today's sandwiches. Yes, it's Emily Flemily, the turkey sandwich. ((Laughing)). Emily Flemily? Yeah. I was gonna do a voice for this, but, I don't like it. You're doing it though. It's too late. It sounds like you are. Come over here, Emily Flemily. It sounds like you're kind of doing this voice right here.
- [Emily] I'm the Mucinex booger. Ooh baby, being evicted. I thought you were a fat horse for a second. Fat horse? Sorry. Are you just all bread? Is it, but it is a turkey. I'm a turkey, see. Do a rotisserie. Yep, it's definitely a turkey, not a. Not a horse, and the bread. It's a bread headed turkey. It's a bread headed turkey. I'm a sandwich. I think that's what this is. She's a, turkey sandwich. All right, I'm gonna stand here while you eat that. Okay, take the plate off. Now, this look, this looks, interesting.
This is a big. Oh, oh, this is, oh. What is this? It is a big. Oh, it's like a croissant. - [Link] But what is that in the middle? Air. Is that turkey? It's a well made croissant. No, that's turkey, dude. Oh, yeah, but you went like that. I thought you meant the air part, I think it's ham and. turkey. Oh my God. This is the simplest yet best sandwich. I've ever had. I knew this sandwich was gonna be good the. moment I looked at it, bro. This is like it's probably from Porto's.
This is a Porto's special. I don't know. Well, if you, is that your guess? No. I don't know. We have to write down our answers. Good God, man! Why is this such a good sandwich? Cause it's a croissant with ham and cheese, uh, turkey. and cheese inside of it. Oh my gosh. It almost doesn't even need turkey. Alright, I got it. Hold on. Okay. 7.50. I think it's, hey man, inflation. I think they're kind of cheap there. 10.79.
Emily, get up. Do your job. Let me just, it needs to fill up again. Did I bust a hole? Okay. I think you're fine. This is definitely a fetish for somebody, isn't it? ((Laughing)). Hey, bronies, what's up? Alright. This is a turkey and cheese croissant. from Donut Hut. And it is 5 dollars. Whoa! - That is. - I could get two of them! That's a crazy deal. A.I.
A.I. is on to something, man. ((Digital Music)). Alright, what do we have? Another sandwich. Wow. Now that is a stack of. That's a thick daddy. That is a thick daddy. Gosh, look at that. That is tall. - [Rhett] Well. You want that one? There's a whole pack of meats. Multiple meats. And then we got a whole pack of cheese. I don't know if my little mouth can get on this. Look at all that cheese.
How does that, how does your, how do you? I don't know. Mine's all broken up. It's like you eat a meat sandwich and then you. Mine's sliding everywhere because of the avocado. This is a gimmick, right? This is not a real sandwich. This is actually purchasable? No, I'm a gimmick. And a sandwich. We can only have one per. I feel like I gotta do a. cheese bite and a meat bite. You know, like, get the meat bite? And a cheese bite. - [Link] Yeah, I did that. I mean, that is a stacked up sandwich.
Good God. I mean, I'm almost saying that's too much. - [Link] I think it's too much. I think it needs to be priced pretty high. So, how much does a pack of ham cost, and. a pack of multi cheese? Really, that's the exercise here that A.I. wants us to do. How much does that sandwich cost? - [Stevie] Yeah, to be clear, A.I. also didn't want you to eat these. Taste them at all. Oh. - [Stevie] They just wanted you to guess. Well, I don't listen to A.I. - [Stevie] Yeah, I mean. You put a sandwich in front of the boys. - [Stevie] We took some liberties.
And also, when you find out the price of this. sandwich, you're gonna want to have eaten some of it. Oh. Oh, hint. Okay. Hint much? Well, I'm gonna change my answer. By a factor of double. Okay. I had 12.31. I changed it to $22.31. I said 18.05. Emily Flemily. That's right. I can, this sandwich can read.
This is from Arts Delicatessen. And it is Sophia's Triple Decker sandwich with extra. everything on gluten free bread and it costs. $53.50. What? That's a $53 sandwich? How is that possible? That's because it's a buffet. Hey, eat some more, man. It's a, it's a freaking cold cut by fact. Make it worth it. ((Digital Music)). I'm gonna sit in this chair. Oh, doggy. Gosh, look at this. This is here. Oh, doggy. Definitely a doggy. Oh my gosh.
So this thing is long and strong and. A.I. said we didn't want, have to eat this? Did they not want us to eat it or they just didn't care? - [Stevie] I didn't ask. - [Link] It looks so good. I mean, this thing down to get the friction on. Listen, I have free, will, you hear me, A.I.? I don't have to obey you. - [Link] There's a lot of chili. There's a lot of bacon. Why are you eating it like, so, why are you. eating it like that? Why are you not committing to the bit? It's a hot dog, man. Don't eat it like a salad.
Well, because it already fell apart. The robot, you're winning. The robots are watching. Oh, me being able to pick this up and eat it is winning? Okay. It's a lot. Is that pastrami? That's a good little dog. There's some jalapeños. That is a mess. Got some jalapeños on there. That is a notably good dog.
Is a hot dog a sandwich, though? Okay. You'll have to watch Josh and Nicole's podcast to find out. I hope this isn't as expensive as the last one, which is. kind of crazy, because. It's, I mean, it's a pricey dog. - [Link] It's probably worth it. But do you think this is a sit down restaurant type thing? I think I'd have to sit down and eat it. You think you could walk and eat this at the same time? Yeah. Alright, I'm gonna change my answer here. Alright, you're taking into account seating.
24.89. 19.77. I almost did 19.89. A good year. Give it to us straight. Alright. This is from Pink's Hot Dog. Oh, really? Legendary. It's named the El Mandril Dog. Topped with extra bacon, chili, and pastrami. And it costs 25.65. Dang, Link, look! You're gonna be in charge when the robots come! Yes, I'm their friend. I'll eat whatever they feed me.
If they're giving me the budget for it. Well listen, I'm going to let you make this decision all on. your own about whether or not you want to keep doing this. This was a good idea, I thought. How much is that sandwich? I'm saying A.I. all hail! Well, the robots are one for one. Yeah, they are. Now it's time for Extreme Toothpaste Taste Test. As you can see, we can't. - [Stevie] So, the last time A.I. came up with episode ideas for us, there was also toothpaste involved, but this time.
you won't be squirting it into each other's eyes. Oh, good. - [Stevie] This time you'll be getting extreme by tasting a bunch. of toothpaste we made and guessing what weird things. they've been flavored with. Oh, you made these? - [Stevie] Yes, I personally made them. The royal you. - [Stevie] Yes. Yeah. Yeah. A.I. loves toothpaste. - [Stevie] Yeah. Okay, so you're gonna have, brushers that are. gonna come in and brush. Are they robot brushers? - [Stevie] No, not yet. Dang it! - [Stevie] In three, two, one.
Okay, that's plenty. Okay. - [Stevie] Okay, then whoever guesses it. Garlic! - [Stevie] Yeah, more specific. Garlic paste! Garlic parmesan. - [Stevie] Okay. Garlic parmesan wing! Garlic parmesan hot wing. Garlic parmesan bread. - [Stevie] There we go. It's not toothpaste at all. There's very little toothpaste in that.
It's mostly garlic, parmesan, and bread. Hey, it was good teamwork. Garlic, garlic parmesan, garlic parmesan wing, garlic parmesan. Oh, bumps. You gotta let me know if it's bumps or flats. ((Laughing)). Okay? Alright. Gosh, now I'm scared. Bump slacks or shake, man? Let's go. - [Stevie] Three, two, oh. Go, go. Brush Rhett. Bacon. Bacon juice. Bacon bits.
Bacon paste. Bacon? Bacon, lettuce, and tomato? - [Stevie] Okay, it is, it is meat. - Ham! - Sweet meat. - [Stevie] Oh God, there's something on your lip, or like, I don't know. Sweet meats. - [Stevie] This is something that is seasonal. Ham! ((Laughing)). - [Stevie] Like it's only available at this location.
Christmas dogs! ((Laughing)). It's only available at this location at this time? - Yeah. - Oh, McRib! - [Stevie] There we go. Oh, Rhett. Oh, yeah. Oh, I'm sorry. I should have known. McRib toothpaste, of course. - [Stevie] Oh, Link, there's something on your lip now. I can't. This is, I'm gonna start gagging. Has he got McRib lips? - [Stevie] Okay, let's just go to the next one. Okay, come in. And then three, two, one.
Fat. - [Rhett] Salmon. ((Laughing)). Salmon fat. Tuna toothpaste. Clam toothpaste. Clam chowder paste. Oyster paste. - [Stevie] You're in the right family. Crab paste. - [Stevie] You got something on your lip. Crab paste. - [Stevie] So close. Lobster paste. - [Stevie] Yes. And what does it have on it? Bisque. ((Laughing)).
- [Stevie] What is, the lobster has? A bib. He's got a bib on. An attitude. Yeah, the lobsters got a bib on, like a restaurant lobster. Like an ad. - [Stevie] What do you dip the lobster in? Butter! - [Stevie] Yeah, yeah. Please, please, you take off your things. and wipe your lip. I thought you might have a, oh gosh. ((Laughing)). Ew, wipe your lip. I pictured a lobster with a bib on, you know? What? You know what I'm talking about, right? That's cute. You know what? I had a lot of fun.
I thought it was gonna be name brand toothpastes, but it did say extreme. Toothpastes. Well, did we learn something? Does that matter? I mean, I don't know. I think that was pretty awesome. I think it was entertaining for everybody except for us. Lobster toothpaste, you put that in a thumbnail. - [Link] Extreme Toothpaste Taste Test. - [Rhett] A.I. all hail! Yeah, we got us. Oh, they're getting better! Alright, does A.I. have a final good idea for us? It's time for Good Mythical Morning's 100 Years of.
Awkward Family Photos! You may have noticed the shirt that I'm wearing. It is an early Valentine's Day gift from. Cotton Candy Randy himself. I'm jealous. It's the, Will You Eat My Chocolate? shirt. And I'd hate to keep this just for me. Oh, you think we should sell it? I think that we should make it available to you at. Mythical.com. How about we throw in a cute little postcard set. featuring Cotton Candy Randy, me and Link saying. some very Valentine's-y sweet little things.
But they're actual postcards. They're actual postcards. They're sold separate from the shirt. Right, right. You can also buy them. You can give them to your Valentine. Mythical.com. Welcome to the Stuff & Shuff Zone, by the way. We are here appeasing A.I. What's happening? - [Stevie] Well, the tie is scored. So it all comes down to this game. You're gonna go ahead and uncloche that baby. Before I do that. What are you doing?
What? Just being dumb. You just turn it around? Cause it does nothing, cause it's just one thing. That was the joke. Oh, it does nothing? It does nothing, it's still the same thing. It's an awkward photo, now it's facing the. wrong direction. So, you really did screw it up, actually. - [Stevie] An awkward family photo. An awkward exchange that happened. I'm trying to make the, I'm trying to make the. presentation awkward too. Did I succeed? - [Stevie] Well, you did it! This is quite an old, awkward photo. We got a family of. But, it does say Flickr down there on it.
- [Rhett] Yeah, Blokes 2012. So, we've got a family of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 boys. and a mommy and a daddy. - [Link] Okay. Who goes first? - [Stevie] It'll have to be a gentleman's agreement. because you're tied. Well, you did that really awkward thing, Rhett. So I do feel like, yeah. I need to go first. ((Laughing)). But I can bump you. Bump fest. Yeah, that's right. Okay, red for Rhett. Oh, and these are our, these are our nice little.
Smosh photos down here. - [Rhett] Do you want to get another look at it? Yeah. I mean, this could be 19, I think this is the 1930, right here at the top of the board, which I, I like being at the peak. And then you've got to, you've got to try to knock. me further away from it. So I'm saying 19, I don't know, it could be 1940s. Yeah, I'm gonna stick with 1930s. - [Rhett] Whoa, nice placement. Nice placement.
And what are you gonna do? Well, I think it's earlier than that, Link. I think it's earlier. I've got a picture of my, uh, my grandpappy. - [Link] Yeah, you do. In your office. My great grandpappy. - [Link] What year is that? Uh, the 20s. It's a hundred years ago. - [Link] Alright. And it reminds me of that. - [Link] All right. - [Rhett] But I think it could, I think it could be the, the tens. I'm just going to try to get past you. I'm not even going to bump you. Cause you're scared. Well, technically if it's a final round,
you can't bump anyway. It's too, it's too easy. If I need to reverse, if I made a reverse bump. and bumped you out of the way. I don't want to do that. I'm going to try to get past you, and try to get to 1910, which. gets me closer to 1920, which is my actual answer. - [Link] A nice gentle glide landing on this side of 1910. If I'm not, if it's not 30s, I'm screwed. - [Stevie] This awkward family photo was taken in, the 1930s.
Yes! Baby, I did it! It feels good! Play the bass! Tonight, bumpity bum bum boom boom boom, naturally get. this right and then nail it. That never happens! - [Stevie] There's one more, so it's not all done. Oh, take, take reverse bass. Zip a dee ba ba ba dee ba boo! ((Digital Music)). - [Stevie] Okay, here's what's on the line before you reveal. that, because I didn't tell you what the prize. and punishment, are. And, of course, we asked A.I. what they should be.
So, the winner gets a single, solitary clap from the loser. Not a round of applause, just one clap. Awesome. - [Stevie] And then, the loser, must wear non matching shoelaces. for the next episode, a minor inconvenience. Oh, dang, that sucks, y'all. I don't want to lose, man. What? - [Stevie] And we also, by the way. Hey guys, ruthless! - [Stevie] We also asked A.I. what we should do if Rhett and Link. tie, so if we find ourselves in that situation, I'm.
basically saying there's no chance of a tie here. There's gonna be a winner, there's gonna be a loser. Okay. But if I win this round, we technically tie and. then we have to go to the ChatGPT to figure it out. Yep. - [Rhett] Figure it out. I bet there's an awkward photo under here. Oh! Look at those perms from the, from the daddy and the mama. And the kid boy's got the spike. That's kinda cool, man. The denim wash, man. How could this not be the certain decade. that we're thinking?
I don't know, you go, you go ahead. I mean, it's the 80s or the 90s, right? It's the 80s or the 90s. I mean, I'm thinking 80s with all that curl. Let me get a good look. Let me get a good look. - [Link] How could it not be? I mean, it depends on what part of the. country they're in. I mean, that could have gotten into the, like, 1990. in, like, certain parts of Wisconsin. You know what I mean? - [Link] That is the latest decade on the board. But I'm gonna go with my instinct.
80. Oh gosh! - [Link] Has he overshot it? - [Rhett] How about 90? - [Link] Yeah, I love that. Fate just sent me to 90. Which is probably not right. It could be 90, dude. If you told me it was early 2000's there are families. that I think could. In certain parts of Wisconsin? Pull that off. Let's see, is there a way for me to knock you out of 90? And so I can have both of them? Technically we are now in the final round. So no, but it really doesn't make any sense because.
we're only doing two rounds. So, I don't know. 1980 is my answer and I'm going for it. Oh, it's fast. It's fast. Well, thank you. Well, our answers are clear. - [Stevie] This awkward family photo was taken in. The 1990s. No! Really? Dang! How? Oh, snap! You, you guys need to get with the times!
Okay, we tied. So, now what does ChatGPT tell us to do? - [Stevie] Okay, gave us some, some options. One involved death, so we're going with. audience choice. Okay, this isn't live. - [Stevie] So, the audience in the soundstage, hoot and. holler for each person as I say their name. Here we go. And Link? - [Nick] Woo! I've had a good showing today, guys.
I got all the. Hold on! I got all the prices right. Hold up, hold up, but that was it. You got one woo! You got one woo! You got one woo! Don't beg for more. Don't beg for more. Rhett better not be getting any more. Hold on, I'm not asking for anything. ((Laughing)). Nobody, except, who was that? - You, Nick? - It was Nick. Did you even mean it? - [Nick] Yeah. Oh, thank you. - [Stevie] And Rhett?
((Crew Cheering)). ((Laughing)). I'm sorry, man. I had a good showing. It was A.I., man. I'm sorry, listen, you gotta get your shoelaces. mixed up next time. - [Stevie] And you also have to clap for Rhett, just once. Oh yeah, give it to me. Oh, nice. Alright, so Good Mythical Morning's 100 Years of Awkward. Photos, was this a good idea? I'm gonna say.
I kinda think it might have been. I don't know, I feel pretty good about all of these ideas today. - [Link] A.I. all hail! Yeah, it was a good idea. It was a three for three day, I'm telling you, they're getting better! Thanks for subscribing and clicking that bell. You know what time it is. I'm Taylor and this is my friend Erica and we're from.
