Cat Poop Coffee Taste Test

we're gonna see if coffee made from cat. poop tastes better than regular coffee. let's do it good mythical morning. don't tell me for one second that I put. on my coffee shirt not to have some fun. not to drink some that's what I call. this my coffee shirt well you should. call it your cat poop shirt you could. also do that same color and today you. can do both because they're coming.

together how do you say this cup a Lua. is the Indonesian pronunciation for cat. poop civet coffee which it's not really. a cat now I've heard about this but the. civet animal is aka the toddy cat is the. Asian Palm Civet I think it's kind of. like a cat like a raccoon looks kinda. like a raccoon possum type of thing but. it's but it's it's not a marsupial it. doesn't sound as good as a raccoon. opossum type of thing coffee this is a.

delicacy type of coffee the bean the. berries are eaten by the civets. and then they poop out the ruins yummy. so they they eat these things they do. not digest them look like turds a little. and then the their stomach acids remove. the acidity of the bean so when they get. out you can you can pick out the beans. and then roast them and then make coffee.

and it's a gives a smooth caramel why. didn't we think of this I mean I got. cats that poop all over my yard and you. start feeding them coffee beans I get. rich yeah that's good everybody wins. okay I'll tell you well I'll get rich. because we bought this 4 ounces of civet. coffee for $44 $44 for this I am a large. person but this is not a normal-sized. thing of coffee this is actually really. small yeah and this is made in the. Philippines the world's rarest beverage. is what they say on their pesto you've.

probably heard about this it's been in. some movies and some comedians have. drunk it on their different show. we're gonna do that so here's what we've. got okay so we have four coffees. unidentified coffees we know that one of. them is an instant coffee one of them is. a gas station coffee one of them is a. coffee shop coffee from your favorite. coffee shop or a popular coffee shop and. the other one the fourth one is the cat. poof cat poop civet coffee yeah we. didn't make these we don't know which is. in which but we have we've got four cups.

of coffee one two three and four and one. two three and four the same we're gonna. drink the same coffee at the same time. and we're going to try to match them to. the right places and whoever gets the. most right will be crowned the coffee. king we actually have a crown that's. pretty awesome oh yeah and the loser. which will be Rhett has to drink coffee. made from beans that I have pooped Wow I. did not know about I've already right.

now I've already eaten the beans so the. timing should be perfect now I haven't. eaten any beans but if you're gonna hold. me to that then you got to give me a. chance to catch that word give me some. beans okay it's already nasty enough. Ellen what about your pickup the r1. these are the same coffee we do not know. what they are and we are going to drink. it and then put it down toast here's the. cap. I usually take mine with cream so let's.

make mouth noises and we we reserve the. right to switch them at any point but I. think I know where I'm going with this. one right there I'm saying this is the. cat poop coffee. yo-chan poof coffee good for you right. off the bat you think gas station it's. not that bad. you taste cap open there all right.

number two um I can switch it later this. is great. well this this is noticeably different. noticeably different it's like paper. [Music]. this tastes horrible this is the gas. station coffee you've been wrong sir.

you're already wrong gas station coffee. right there. [Music]. at least we're bit we're different at. this point yeah okay number three. okay oh my gosh tastes like a cat I mean. I've never eaten cat crap but Wow all of. a sudden just I'm questioning this one.

Wow. it's horrible interesting thanks like it. might have passed through an animal. I think it's instant coffee though I'm. going instant coffee because that is. some horrid stuff really okay I like the. fact that we're completely different so. somebody's gonna win somebody's gonna. lose I I think I'm getting sick after. that last one oh man yeah.

[Music]. that's a distinct flavor that is a. distinct flavor. now this coffee is not as hot as I would. like for it to be and this is a good cup. of coffee okay I feel relatively. confident you can reach a stickum you.

2:03 tasting room and weari taste sure. we taste time. [Music]. yeah I think we're agreeing on this rep. well somebody's gotta be right cuz this. is so smooth this l1 you can put down. here what it actually is if you want to. I'm just got I'm just really mess with. myself there this is so smooth this is. some strong l4.

[Music]. I just did a little switcheroo now I. gave you a hint by saying smooth like. caramel oh this is horrible. okay you think that's the cat foofy over. here I'm really torn between these I. know that these two are the best. [Music].

whoever wins this I mean if you win this. brother you deserve to be the coffee. king I got a my taste buds are confused. like a cat that that's coffee for a. living all right so we are going to. pause while we tabulate the results and. magically reappear in just a second. [Music]. okay so the results have been tabulated. we don't know who won but I will say. interestingly now that we've seen this. we agreed on gas station coffee and. coffee shop cough but we disagreed on.

which was the instant in which was the. cat poop so either we're both almost. right and it'll almost wrong a rule both. way wrong yeah I'm confused okay just. tell me you see you tell us what was. round 1 coffee. hold up your round 1 what he round 1. round 1 coffee he thought it was cat poo. was gas station coffee you're both wrong. what this is gas station yes I had these. just like this I had him just like that.

gas station serves cat poop coffee and. certain states all right round 2 coffee. was the here's my round 2 yeah I thought. a gas station summer round 2 coffee was. the cat poop coffee from the civet this. is the cat poop coffee number 2 number 2. which you both got wrong I just tastes. like paper it tastes horrible yeah well. I just did the math we both got all of. them wrong statistically there's no way.

at this point that you need one of us. couldn't get anything right all right so. what's what's round 3 we both got coffee. shop round 3 coffee never out three. round three round three three accidents. tonight said cat was instant coffee was. I was right you won round four was. coffee shop coffee which you both got. right making lengthy coffee King I want.

to get him I want to know what know what. know what the right one is again totally. destroying my crown you push it round. three with what round three was instant. coffee hmm it's tasted the worst to me. and that's why I put it with the cap so. I'm gonna drink the cat poop cuz this. stuff's explain it round two is cat poop. round two was kapu alright I guess I got. a drink link poop coffee now thanks for. liking and commenting on this episode.

I'm Leah and this is violet and we're. from patchy Junction Arizona and now. it's time spin the wheel of mythicality. there's a lot of mugs up here on this. table but the most important ones are. the ones that you can buy watch yourself. you're like Bullwinkle it almost hit. rent like cops I store get the official. good mythical morning mugs. water is right all of the coffee's Rhett.
