Can We Guess The Mystery Snack?

- Can we guess each other's vending machine snacks? - Let's talk about that. (bright music). Good Mythical Summer! - Before we get into today's episode, we teamed up with Burger King for somethin' special. Take a look. (intense swoosh). Do we think Burger King got it right? We partner with them to find out. - On Good Mythical Morning, we've reviewed. literally thousands of restaurants. - Including comparing different Burger Kings in our city.

to see if there are any differences. - And we did find some. Look at the color difference. Darker, lighter. The pickles are in a different place. - Turns out they've been listening to their guests. and making some changes. - So, we teamed up with Burger King to go back. to both locations and order our Whopper. our way - Our way. - and see how things are now. - Hi, welcome! May I take your order? - I would love a Whopper. Add Swiss cheese, extra onions, light mayo, light lettuce, medium fries and drink. - I'll take a Whopper with cheese, please!

No tomato. - Of course. - But can you add onion rings. and can you cut it in half, please? I'd also love some medium have-sies and a drink. - Here's your order, everything your way. - And I know my Whopper order was a little complicated. Was it double checked? - I've got this. (magical music). It was! I made sure it was cut in half. I actually order mine the same way. - Yeah 'cause that way, your first bite. has immediate access to all the good stuff. It's the perfect introduction to your burger! Does that make you the king of double-checking? - I'm a "Your Way" champion. So, I do all kinds of things to make sure that.

all our guests get everything that they ordered. exactly the way they ordered it. - We got the Swiss cheese. We got plenty of onion. and look at how those pickles are stacked. This is how you do it! - And I am noting the golden coloration of my fry. - Hey, how we doin? (intense music). - Great! - So, I made sure that the order was made. just how you wanted it, guaranteed. - I love a guarantee. You know how much I love a guarantee. - With our Whopper Guarantee, if something's not right, we'll make you a new Whopper right away. and the next one's on us!

- I love a guarantee. - By the way, I'm thinkin' of inventing a new sauce. for fry dipping. You got any advice? - You seem like a tangy guy. Try two parts ketchup, one part mustard. - I can call it muss-up. - Uh, maybe ketchard? So, BK managers are now "Your Way Champions", getting a standard for better service. - However you like your Whopper, they'll get it right or they'll make it right. - So go on, have it your way. Thanks to Burger King for sponsoring this portion. of today's episode. - After decades of friendship, I thought I knew. my best friend inside and out.

until we started playing this game. - Yeah, turns out we have very different understandings. about snacks and how to describe them. - Uh huh. That all ends today! It's time for. Vendor Reveal Party! (upbeat music). (intense swoosh). - [Mikayla] Hello, hello, hello! - Hey! - Yo! All right Rhett, you have a mystery snack in your lunchbox, which we will look at in a second! But first, if there are any mythical beasts. that would like to play along at home,

look away now! - Look away! I'm gonna also look away - That's you too, right? - 'cause I'm gonna play. - All right and maybe make noise so you don't. hear what this sounds like, Link. (Link shouts). Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - La la la la la la. - This is the snack that Link will be trying to find. And that snack is now back in my lunch pail. box. (Link hums loudly). All right. (Rhett claps). Ready, Neil. - Okay. - [Mikayla] I wanted to see how long he was. gonna keep that going, but anyway. - Let me see. - There is a.

- hidden mystery bag in the machine. Whether it's helpful or harmful, who knows? - [Link] I bet you do. - [Mikayla] I sure do! - Oh, well that doesn't seem fair. - We have got some wild snacks. in here today. - Oh really? - Let me look at em. Ho ho, whoa! - Homie, don't. - I'm not dumb. (Mikayla laughs). - [Mikayla] Well, don't. I'm glad you're smart, yay! - Would it really mess up the game. if you looked in this? - [Mikayla] Yes. - I don't know how this game works, I guess. (audience laughs). - [Mikayla] Well, if you lose today, you'll have to eat a mysterious spicy punishment, but more on that later.

Link, you know what? Go ahead and ask your first question. to see if you can identify Rhett's snack. - Ah, okay. If you um, were competing in an Olympic event. titled not done, - I think maybe. not done. - in another life, - I could have. - [Link] No, not done. No interjections. - If I'd have started as a small child, like training in something like luge. - All right, fine. Forget all that. - Maybe it could've happened. - Okay, new scenario, all right. - If you were competing in an Olympic event. called "Throwing One Of These Snacks.

Into Someone's Mouth At 20 Meters Away.". - 20 meters? - [Link] 20 meters. - That's 60 feet. - Okay, yeah. Good, thank you for telling me that. Would you be confident in choosing this snack. and using the smallest delineation of it to compete? - The first thing I'll say. and maybe this is giving away too much. Mikayla, stop me if I'm wrong.

- [Mikayla] Happily. - The answer is not immediately obvious. So, let me just say we're in a bit of a gray area. - Hmm, gray area. - Uh, there are things about it that. - This is great then. - There are things about it that, yes, this is a throwable snack but, specifically, I had my doubts creep in when you say. I gotta throw this thing 60 feet reliably. That's all I'll say. - This is, okay. - [Mikayla] I think you've said enough. - That's good because now, I get to eliminate things.

that ya definitely can't throw at all. - If you want your kid to be an Olympian, ya gotta start young. Ya gotta start before they choose it. You choose it for them. - 16. (machine beeps). I would not throw at all. I would not throw 32. because it's too light and airy. Okay, so now, on the other end. of the information that you gave me. I'm gonna remove anything that is a shoe-in. for the Olympic event, which is 12 and boy, I'm gonna have to taste that.

There's, what it's called is really small. and we'll have to talk about it later. (machine beeps). (machine whirs). But let's remember to do that as it falls. 20 could win the Olympic event. Gotta get rid of that. (machine whirs). Okay, I'm done. Rhett. - Yes? - It's an emergency. - Uh oh, okay. - The snack police. is raiding your house. - Exit's there.

- Oh, this is a scenario. - They have, - they've broken in the front door. and you're clamoring to get rid of your precious snacks. - Okay, next time it's an emergency, can you say hypothetical? - Hypothetically. - It's an emergency, okay. (audience laughs). - Could you flush three elements of this snack. down the toilet at once easily? - Yes sirrey bob. - [Link] Oh, he's all over this. - Yeah. - He might be flushin' more than three.

He might be flushin' the whole pack. the way that he answered that question. - I didn't say that. - He didn't say it though. (audience laughs). But boy, his face did. - When you said three though, I was like, yes sirrey bob. - Oh yeah. - I'm definitely. - Unless, hold on. - Unless you're at your Grandma's house. and she's got one of them weak toilets. - [Link] Old plumbing, weak toilet? - But she got a nice, soft seat, ya know? Like she does a soft seat. - Yeah. - That seat when you sit on it goes pffft. - Yes! (audience laughs). Exactly. So it's a little bit like, ya know what,

it's a little bit of a compromise. You get the soft seat but you gotta. soft flush with the soft seat. - 30 is an intriguing snack that I also wanna try! Flush it down my throat! - Okay, interesting. (audience laughs). Interesting. - 34, don't care for this at all. So, I would flush this. And I'm going to get rid of it. (machine whirs). Add a flush sound, please. - Hold on but,

you're saying that, (toilet flushes). I'm saying these are easy to flush. So you're not getting rid of the things. that are easy to flush. - Dagnabit. (all laugh). (toilet flushes). And I was on such a roll too! - Maybe we got lucky. Maybe we didn't. - The vending machine is almost completely empty, dude. (audience laughs) (Rhett growls).

- Yikes-a-roni. - This is such a hard game to play. It's all pivotal at that moment. when you have to switch the answer. Crap, crap, crap - Yep, yeah. - crap, crap. I have really screwed the pooch, I think. - Oh, man. - You gotta start diggin' in your butt, team. - I hope it was down here. If the new kid in school, grade school, showed up and opened up his lunchbox. and pulled out this snack, would you assume? - Assume? - That his parents. - Is that another like event? - Were rich?

- I don't believe that is one of the things. that I would think. - All right, so I am going to get rid of the things. that tell me that the parent is rich, which is clearly 14. Gotta get rid of that rich snack. (machine whirs). Just too trendy lookin'. Now I'm gettin' rid of 54 because. that would be so bougie, but also just completely weird. - Okay. (audience laughs). But the weird part doesn't matter.

- Is 44 bougie? Yes. (machine beeps). 44's bougie. Oh my gosh, so is 40. (machine whirs). - [Rhett] What kinda bougie snacks do we have? - [Link] A lot of bougie snacks. - Well, give me an exam, don't, you don't have to, like what makes a snack bougie? Don't give me, don't tell me what you're gettin' rid of. - Like unknown brand names, weird configurations, next gen graphic design. - Okay, that's,

that felt like a lot of - Pricey, pricey, different things. - seemingly pricey stuff. - I'm gonna get rid of 47 as well. 47 looks so rich to me. - Gettin' rid of a lot on this round. - If you walked in your snack area of your house. Maybe that's your kitchen, I don't know. (audience laughs). - Oh okay, I was thinkin' maybe you were saying. there was a snack area that I don't currently have. - And Shawn, your dog, - Yeah? - is sittin' there with a guilty look on his face.

He's eatin', you think he's eaten a snack. Would you feel like you immediately needed to call. some sort of pet hotline? - Okay. So I'm gonna answer this question. but it is entirely dependent on. your level of knowledge of what is poisonous to a dog. - Which is low. - So, there's, - Which is why I. - asked the question. - There's a first hotline ingredient. that most people would be thinking about. if it were like in my dog. - Yeah, let's just. - It's not, we're not talking about that.

But it does have an ingredient that is. poisonous to dogs and I think I would call. but they would probably be like, "It's probably fine.". - So I'm gonna get rid of the things. that obviously are harmful to dogs, which is the little chips in 36. (machine whirs). Yes, there it goes! And obviously 42. You'd be freakin' out.

if your dog ate that. Ah, I have one more question. - [Mikayla] One more. - I should ask it. - Fun fact, this vending machine. was used in the promotional campaign. for the movie, "Obsession". (audience laughs). Even though the one wish willow. was not vended from a machine in the movie. It was bought off a shelf at a store. If you go online, you might be able to find a picture. of the three main actors from the movie.

posing with this vending machine. It's the same one. They've touched it. (audience laughs). - Would you be surprised if I told you. your snack didn't contain any fruit juice? Even in the least bit surprised? - I would not be surprised at all. if you told me there was no fruit juice in this. - Okay, great. So I'm gonna get rid of 43. (machine whirs). You would not be surprised at all.

- If you told me there was fruit juice in it, I would be like, "What?". - Yeah, so now I get to get rid of, I think I'm gonna get - Why? - rid of 46 too. and I'm gonna get rid of 41. (machine whirs). Leaving my choice down at 56. - [Rhett] Okay! - [Link] Not feeling great though. - Me neither. - [Mikayla] All right, well, go ahead and vend it. and then, Rhett, get your snack ready. 'cause we're gonna do a big reveal. Once he gets his. snack in hand. - Come on with my snack. - Okay, okay, okay, okay. - All right.

- [Mikayla] Are you ready? - Yep. - [Mikayla] In three, two, one. - Sugar wafer! (buzzer buzzes) (audience laughs). See those, those, you can flush easily. And I, I shouldn't have removed those. (Rhett sighs). (sighs) I'm sorry, dude. I messed up. (Rhett sighs). - And I wanted to try these. - Well, yeah. - [Mikayla] On the Olympic question, actually Link, the very first question, you eliminated that one. So, it. - Oh. - It wasn't even the screw up. - Oh really? - Yeah. - 'Cause 60 yards, it's, it's light. - Oh, it's light.

- Lighter than I thought. - So. - Yeah, so it's like, - Yeah. - maybe yeah, see how it fluttered - Oww! - at the end there? (audience laughs). - I'm sorry. That didn't get 60 feet. - It's too light. - Yep. I didn't know they were this light. - Oh, it's pieces of garlic! - It's called fried garlic gator toes. - [Rhett] It's actually pieces of garlic. - What, I thought it was a corn nut. - And I've just eaten two of them. And you gotta be with me the rest of the day. - Wow. - [Mikayla] And then, the mystery bag. was what you vended actually.
