Their way through to the end of the competition for a. chance at the ultimate prize. Relationships will be tested. Hmm. Backs will be stabbed. And you know what? Okay, go strengthen your relationships so you can, we can watch them dissolve live on the internet. It's gonna be fun.

Eight years ago, when our hair was shorter and our taste. buds were more undisciplined. We blind tasted six of the most popular donut. brands in the world. Uh huh, but since then, the world has changed. Yeah. And so have we. Mm hmm. Has our taste, uh, or the quality of these donut. brands changed as well? And more importantly, have we gotten any better at guessing? We're gonna find out by doing the exact same taste. test that we did eight years ago, and we're gonna guess. every single donut right!

Mm hmm, and if we don't, the donuts... were cheap. It's time for. Okay boys, just like last time, today's glazed donut. options in no particular order are Krispy Kreme, Dunkin Donuts, Entenmann's, Donut Friend, Winchell's. and 7 Eleven, and you're gonna taste them all in the. exact same order you did last time and they'll be. served again via the still patent pending donut dowel.

Last time, out of eight possible points, Rhett, you. got three, Link, you got two, so let's see if you can do. any better this time around. Let's put on those blindfolds. Oh, right. I would have thought that there's like one or two that. I might guess with confidence, but I haven't eaten any. more donuts now than I was eating at the time, so I. feel no better equipped. Let's bring in the first donut. Because as you can see, we can't.

Oh, it's a big one. Oh. Huh? Hmm. It's a big'un. Sideways. I remember them being sideways eight years ago. My donut dropped. I heard a thud. Congratulations. My donut dropped. I gotta call my mom. I didn't know if it was ever gonna happen.

Tell her to call the pediatrician. It finally happened. Hmm. Um, they were worried about me. Um, this is just a normal glazed donut. There's nothing that's really jumping out at me. I don't... Yeah, it's middle of the road, is it not? I mean, I'd continue to eat it. Okay. Did you get one over there? I'd say this one's kinda cakey. Little dry. Look, I would, I would think that you would think. that this is too dry. Six on the scale of one to ten for me. Yeah. Uh, you know what, I'm just gonna give it a right.

down the middle five. It's good. I'm tempted to go six, but I'm not gonna do it, and I'm sure I didn't do that last time. What is it, though? Where the crap is this from? I can only tell you what it's not, but I'm not going. to tell you what it's not, because this is a competition. Okay, I'm ready. Three, two, one. 7 Eleven! Winchell's! See, we're both going with, like, not the main stores.

I was, 7 Eleven and Winchell's? Right down the middle. We each went the separate ways. Yeah. Yeah. But you can get gas. Um, not, not all 7/11 do it anymore. At, at some places. Sometimes they take away the gas. Bring it in. Mm-hmm. Oh, okay. Mm-hmm. You go to the right or the left? You lean into the right or the left? When you go, when you go in? Right. Oh, here. Oh, oh, gosh.

This one right here is hardened. The glaze. Is thicker. Was a crust that had to break through. The glaze is more glazy than flaky. That's a good donut. It's moist. It's vanilla-y. That cake of the donut... not the best. Very specific taste and specifically. not one that I like. Yeah, I'm gonna give this one a. Three. I'm gonna give it a two. Okay. Because I'm not.

As, uh, I'm not as scared to go low as I used to be, maybe. Um, that is not great. Mm, that is unlike anything I've ever tasted. It tastes like a donut, still. I don't feel like I would encounter that at a gas. station, but maybe I would. I haven't been to 7 Eleven in a long time. Yeah, I think I got my guess. Uh, give me a second. Don't say anything. Don't give me any hints. Yeah, okay. Three, two, one.

- Donut Friend. - Entenmann's. What, you think it's vegan? I love Donut Friend. And that's why it's bad? But, I don't know, man. They make a good vegan donut, dude. I know, but it tastes so different. It tastes so different. What is a vegan donut, anyway? Just a donut with no animal products in it, Link. That's what vegan means. Don't pat me condescendingly. Nah, that's just, that's been sitting in a box on a shelf. It's been what in a box? Sitting in a box. We gonna do that now? Nah, well, been there, done that. Not doing that again. Yeah, well, it was tupperware.

I'm gonna go left this time and see if it feels different. Oh, okay, yeah. I'm not nearly as good at that, I'll try it. Oh. Oh. Mmm. What? Oh. Oh! Oh, am I on the end of the same stick that you're on? I don't know. I just got, I have the end of the stick. So it's not coming from there. It's coming from there. It's one stick? It's one stick. Has it always been one stick? I remember that.

Mmm. So your donut passes by me? Apparently. I'll also say we kept the same size of stick, but. we didn't keep the same size of desk over time. Uh, so it's looking a little short, that stick. Oh, we got a short stick situation. Mm, that's a good donut! That is a pillowy donut. Well done to whoever made that. That is good. I can't believe it's vegan. That is a good donut. Who makes a donut that's that soft? Wow, and it's big, too. It's bigger than another place that makes great donuts.

It's like biting into a pillow. It just dampens my emotive sound. Are you talking about when you scream into a pillow. at the end of every day? Yeah. Eight! Where is this from? Great donut, eight. I'm gonna give this a nine. I am not holding back. Okay, well don't, give me a second, cause I don't know. I mean, who has the best donut? I think I have an opinion on that. Okay. Three, two, one. - Dunkin Donuts. - Winchell's.

See, I actually think the best donut is Krispy Kreme, which made me want to vote for that, but it's bigger. Too big for Krispy Kreme. Too big for Krispy Kreme. You think Winchell's goes big? I don't have any idea, I've never been. Me neither, that's why I said Dunkin. I wanna smell your donut as it goes by. Too late. No, no, no, I think I smelled it. Is that mine or yours? I think I smelled yours. Oh. I think I lost mine.

Mm hmm. I'm not gonna touch it, cause that would be cheating. Oh, yeah! Oh, man. We've hit the promised land! By Lanta, that's a good donut. Is that not the best donut you've ever eaten? I got a donut! We are there! Man, it sure is so good. That is the best donut I've ever had in my life! Who made this donut? That's a good donut! We are there! After 40 years in the wilderness! Yes! We have arrived! And we're giving it a 10!

Oh, you're giving it a ten. Are you? It certainly seemed like I was about to. I'm giving it a ten! Yeah! Well don't make me force you. Well, I did feel peer pressured into it. Just say nine then. Nine! You wanted to say nine. I wanted to say nine because. I can tell he didn't mean to. I'm holding out hope that there might be a. more perfect donut and a more perfect union. Well good luck, cause that ain't gonna happen. Three, two, one. Krispy Kreme! Pride of the Carolinas, but not Pepsi.

I'm feeling like I want some coffee at this point. What's happening over there? [hysteric laughter]. Oh my goodness. What'd you do, dude?

You didn't lick my donut, did you? It did taste bad. I wouldn't do such a thing. Really? I spit it out. I can tell you did something. Why does it taste orange? This is not a great donut. This one spent a little too much time on a truck. This one's been in a box on a shelf. I hated that donut, and I don't know if. it was Rhett's fault. Um, it doesn't even taste, the flavor is off.

It doesn't taste like a donut. I gotta give that a one. Uh, I'm gonna give it a two. It's like orange, a little bit of orange, a. little bit of coconut. Eh. Uh, I believe I know what it is. Gotta know. I gotta know. Three, two, one. - Donut Friends. - Entenmann's. I'm sorry, donut friend, I'm throwing your vegan. butt under the bus. It tasted like it came from a box. Or a vegan bus.

You still happy for donut? Oh. Very happy. Come on now. Oh! Oh! You gotta attack it. Oh. Mmm. Oh, my. It's a big donut. It's hard to get ahold of. Man. It's tasty. That's a good donut. It's yeasty. It is got, it does have this like, homemade, like you can.

really, it's dough forward. That is a really good donut. It's good. It does have that little something that's different. Little something that's different. And I don't think it's as bad as it's been on a shelf. It has a freshness to it. That's an eight for me. That's a really good donut. That's a really, really good donut. Cakey soft. Cold yet still good. Um, I'm gonna give it a solid 7. Well, where is this from? Solid 7. Crap.

Um. Okay. I'm ready. 3, 2, 1. - 7/11! - Dunkin Donuts! I almost thought about that. I just, it was my last thing available, and I. 7/11 was my last thing available, but I don't. think it was quite as good as a Dunkin Donut. But it was cake-y like. Okay, okay, well, I. Okay, it's time for our franken hole round. We have two donuts mashed into one donut hole, so. you'll have two guesses and two points up for grabs. Alright.

Okay. Okay, let's bring them in. I feel like we've been doing so good. Is it on a big stick? Oh. Oh, it's on a little spoon. Oh. Hmm. Hmm. Are you partying it? I'm trying to figure out if it's halved and halved. I did my patented, uh, left to right move the. contents across your mouth, across your tongue, and taste it as it goes. Did it taste like two separate things? Not to me. I'm getting a little bit of something different.

A weird not frost, and then normal frost. Hmm. Well, I know, I know one of them that's present. I think I do too. I meaning I know what round it was earlier. I don't know what, where it's from. Uh. I, I'm giving this, uh, a zero. If this was on a shelf, I wouldn't buy it. Are, are we ranking it? You're not, but I would, I was happy to know what I. didn't like was thinking. Yeah. I'm giving it a three. Um, alright, I'm ready.

Three, two, one. - Entenmann's and Dunkin. - Entenmann's and Krispy Kreme. Ooh. - Entenmann's and Dunkin. - Entenmann's and Donut Friend. Okay, let's unpack, let's unpack how you did. How are you feeling? Uh, I feel great. My self worth is not tied to how well I do anymore. That's another thing that's changed about me. You know, eight years ago, I probably went home depressed. After those low scores.

Oh, you didn't think you did good again? But now, regardless of how I did, I know, I know who I am. I like myself. Well, that makes one of you. Um, okay. Well, I'll say overall, you're kinda on par. with how you did before. I will say some interesting things here. Obviously, you both love Krispy Kreme the most. You both got Krispy Kreme correct. Oh, good. But, back in the day, for some reason, Link, you guessed that. Krispy Kreme was 7 Eleven.

So, I don't know what was happening then, but. now you got it correct. You're both on Krispy Kreme territory. I will also say, uh, for those fans that, um, watched the. crew reunion on Society, and they, they know a little bit. of behind the scenes, we did have an admission that one. Mike, Chrismasonia, back in the day, when he was. supposed to get the Donut Friend donut, he didn't. get the Donut Friend donut. He lied to everyone here, and everyone on the.

internet, and put another donut in that round. So this is the first time that you are having Donut. Friend is in this year, 2025. And did you like it? And it's your second favorite doughnut overall. You both have missed it. But you loved it. It was the, the Thick Daddy. That's a vegan doughnut, and it's great. Doughnut friend, y'all do it right. I'm sorry I guessed that you were another round. I know I got that wrong. And then other than that, like, your answers. weren't really consistent. The only other thing to point out was the Franken.

round, you're both correct, and the Entenmann's guess, and. actually, Link, it was Krispy Kreme, so you got one more. point than you did before. Oh! Yeah, racking them up. So, you know, those are the lessons learned, I'll say. And we're better because of it. See you in eight more years. Well, we haven't heard the totals yet. Well, it's, it was three to two and now. it's three and three. And also, there's some fun surprises that you guys. can unpack when the episode comes out that you don't. know that we did to you.

That's why y'all are laughing sometimes. Thanks for commenting and sharing this video. I don't know if I am happy about that. You know what time it is. I'm Jamie. And I'm Christian. We're in Raleigh, North Carolina. And I just completed the Krispy Kreme Challenge. That's running two and a half miles through downtown. Raleigh to Krispy Kreme, eating 12 donuts, and running. two and a half miles back. And it's time to spin the Wheel of Mythicality. Looks like he didn't upchuck. Congratulations. Yeah, he looks happy. Click the top link to see if we can identify different.

foods in black and white in Good Mythical More. And to find out where the Wheel of. Mythicality's gonna land. The Mythical Kitchen's first live show, Survive. the Mythical Kitchen, is streaming on April 3rd. Get your tickets now at mythicalkitchenlive.com.
