Are These Drugstore Products Worth It?

What are the most expensive things you can buy at CVS? Let's talk about that. Good Mythical Morning. CVS is the place to go when you need to pick up cold medicine, chapstick, or the longest receipt of your life. Oh man, you are so right, they get so long. I know, yeah. But how expensive can CVS actually get? Well, that's what we're going to find out.

Okay, boys, we've sourced six of the most expensive items from CVS. It's time to figure out the price of this Hair Max Laser Band 41 Comfort Flex Device. for hair regrowth by placing it on the corresponding spot on the board behind you. Oh, looky there. Okay, so we've got everywhere from $104.99 all the way up to $599. You spending $600 at CVS on one item?

No, I'm not. You're, you're texting somebody before or after that, you know. Saying, this might be crazy. Stop me. Yeah, yeah, you only got a couple of seconds. I mean, I hope this isn't $600. It's a, it's an LED hair beret. Well, they say it's laser technology. You push turn it on and then, oh. It's red lasers. That's not lasers. It is just, it's like a red light thing. I, I see these, I guess because I am of age, uh. Give me a second. I get these in my social media feed all the time.

Do not turn it on on your eyes, bro. Captain. That's a horrible idea. Captain, should I push the button, Captain. Although it's not lasers, it's red light. You probably could do it and it wouldn't kill you. Try it, but red, okay? Red light's supposed to go on your face, right? But your eyes, but when your eyes are closed. Well. And I do think, I mean, they say that this is a clinically proven 93% success. rate that is proven safe and effective in, uh, seven clinical studies.

Oh, seven. Well, that must, that must be a winner. Users experience an average increase in hair count of 129. additional hairs per square inch. I can feel 'em popping up. I can feel 'em popping up one by one. Yep, there's three, six. Mm-hmm. 11, 17. Square, how many hairs are in a square inch? Apparently a lot, that if you can get 129. And then they're counting each hair, in seven studies. And then, and then it does that and you move it to your partner, that's what happens.

Or you move it. Oh, you move it back on your head to get complete coverage. 41 lasers move six times. You guessed it. 246 total laser coverage. I don't think you can do that kinda laser math. That's, that is their math. Oh, I just, I just looked at it. But, but just to be clear. I wouldn't say it hurt. I mean, first of all, take this with a grain of salt. Grain of a salt. I think this is just red light therapy, which I think has been shown to do.

It looks good, man. I look, I look a little windblown. I think it has been shown to, to be somewhat effective, but we're not trying. to see whether or not this is effective. We don't have time for that. We're trying to see how much it costs. These things get advertised to me all the time. Not specifically this, but like a red light mask or whatever, like. popping up all the time, right. And I just think that this kind of thing is in the, it's in one of, it's, it's, it's, it's in here.

So I just think for right now, 246 lasers, $201. I, I think this needs to be under $200 to get people to buy it. Mm-hmm. Let's leave it there. But not all the way down. No. Just barely. Next up, we have the Can-do Magneciser Pedal Exerciser. Where is it? Where? Bring it to us. Let's use it. I wanna see it. If we're gonna, if we're gonna try to find out how much it costs, I need to see it.

Where is it? I'm not already using it under the table. Oh, you are already using it under the table? No, I'm, I'm just doing knee lifts. Okay. Bring that up here. Um, apparently. Don't drop it on my foot, now. That was funny. That was so funny, Link. You can do it the way that Link was doing it. That's the funniest thing you've done all day. Or you can do it with your hands. Uh, I'm a little winded.

Now, how you gonna get, oh. How you gonna get any work done? I wanna get the resistance way down. Put this thing on the desk under your desk. It's, it's a little, it's, it is a good little something to do. Okay. Look at my speed. Look at my speed. Uh, 36 something. 50, 55, 54 miles per hour. I got 50. I got 54. See what you could get. What's that? Wait, is that miles per hour? Yeah, I went 54 miles per hour. No you didn't, dude.

Meters. It's an M. I don't care, just see how fast you, see if you can get to 54. Now, make, come on. I've got a. Come on now. I got my, my coffee. Come on, let me see what you got. Don't hurt yourself now. Don't hurt yourself. Well, take your pick. See what I got or don't hurt myself. Let's see what you got, but don't hurt yourself. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Oh my god. Don't don't let it hit the mic. 57, you beat me. I gotta come back. See, see, look at that.

Oh, I gotta come back. 57. Are we working? This is a good workout, now. We're gonna put this thing in our office. 57, that was good. I think we need two. For him. I got to 60. Don't try, don't try to stop it. I got. Grab the middle. I can't, no. Grab the knob. It's trying to take your hands out of, I got a 60. See if you can break 60. I don't need to.

No, no, it's, when you stop you gotta pull your hands out fast. Put your hands out fast. Maybe I'll go backwards. Well, then it'll come towards me. Yeah. Oh, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow. This hand. You didn't break 60. God, it's over, man. Okay, that was fun. And how hard does it get?

Are you messing. No, man, you try it. The plane. It's got a wide range of resistance. Man, it's really, that's really resisting. Okay, so. Okay, we are having a lot of fun with this one. Uh, how merch. How much would you pay? This is. It's.

magnetic, it says. It is definitely not. And by the way, we've got this to help. We're covering three, oh. We're covering three, man. So put that down again. Nope, it's here. It looks good. I like it. Well. Come on, play along. It's not $399. It's more than that, but it's, I'd say it's somewhere. I was looking at one of these to put under my desk.

And I, now I found it. I think we're somewhere in here, right? Yeah. Okay, your next expensive product is uh, over in the multi for you to enjoy. Okay, don't mind if I do. Oh, we got ourselves a bedtime something, something something. This is the Avana Kind Bed Orthopedic Support Pillow. This has got my name written all over it, my, do you mind? I would love to see you. You know, with my back issues,

with my back issues. I mean, welcome to our future man, where you have to turn every, uh, bed into a hospital bed. Got my book. I got my readers, and I see that there's different configurations. Lean up. No, stay there. Stay there. And then if I want your head, I want your knees higher. And then I want, now come up, and we want to turn this around. Nope, nope, nope. Go even further. Like that, like that. Now you're gonna lay down and are you comfy? Very. Now, alright.

Now roll over. Now make it now make a pillow and make a, make a stack in the middle. Alright, like that. Put your belly button right there. In that one, make it as high as you can. Belly button there. Okay. Yep. And then maybe face to the side. There you go. I mean, this is how babies sleep. It feels great. What kind of give does it have? I mean. Stevie, how much give are you seeing here? What's it giving.

Too much. Um, and let's, let's, I bet you, oh, there's this, what's that stain there? A stain. I powdered, I got powder on there. Looks like I. Cover that up. So then if you turn this this way, and if you turn that way, then it, then I want you to kind of slide through here and do, do maybe a, uh. Let me see if I can get through and you try to catch me on the way through. Okay? Okay. I'm gonna come fast, you better, you better.

You better catch me. I'm coming, oh no wait. What's with this? But no, that's not how it works, it's not a gauntlet? You're trying to catch me like this? No, here we go. It's not a sandwich. It is not a cold cut slice, sir. No. Well, you want me to catch? I want you, you're gonna, I'm, I'm gonna get through there. You not, I'm just, I'm going behind you. Okay. Oh. Okay. See, too slow. Too slow. Let, lemme try this. Too slow pillow games. Too slow for the pillow games. Well, I never gotta feel this.

Okay. Alright. Okay. Alright. Okay. Okay, and then. Okay. I, I keep, I keep wanting to ask, well, how much is this? Okay. I mean, if you wanna do some reading in bed or something. And you can put this right here on your belly and put the book on that. or that you can do that. Yes. Okay, yeah, yeah. That's good. I mean, this is comfy. This is nice. Now. This is nice. I feel like I'm aging before your eyes.

And the thing is, is it looks great. You know, it's very fashionable. My wife would love if I had, my whole side of our bed was just a series of orthopedic. Yeah, that's. Oddly shaped pillows. Well, you put it underneath the thing and then it just looks like a lumpy. person's already there, you know? Mm-hmm. Kinda like. I don't know. That looks fine. It's like a body pillow, but it just looks like a body.

Okay. I think I, I, I think we've learned all we need to learn. Okay. Now one of those memory foam pillows can be expensive. Um, I think we might be in 399. We might be territory, we might be 399, but we are leaving 209 open. This is tricky territory right here. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's hard. I mean, to expect us to thread that needle. Speaking of thread the needle. I think it could help with that too.

The pillows. Yeah, well, careful what you're calling a needle. Yeah. Quick reminder, I have a podcast with my dad or, yeah, it's his show. I'm on it. Dispatches From Myrtle Beach is what it's called. Uh, I tried to get dad to say "6, 7" as an example. Oh. But we also talk about lots of good stuff that isn't related to, uh, to that if you're not into it. Not 6, 7 stuff. Not 6, 7 stuff. Sometimes 6, 7 stuff.

Uh, check out Dispatches From Myrtle Beach, the podcast. Okay, next up, your, your new toy is over on the multi. Oh, okay. Oh, oh. This is the. Knee Rover. Knee Rover QUAD All Terrain Knee Walker, in metallic blue. I've always wanted one of these, just I didn't want what comes along with it. It's got a break on it, dude. Like a messed up foot. Skip, skip. Now it says for people up to 6'6.

So I feel like, I mean, well, it's in the highest setting. Okay. It's all terrain. Okay. What's the turning radius like? Oh. Not great. Yeah, it is a little short for you. Oh, okay. Hey, throw me the, um, throw me those orthopedic pillows. I'm gonna, yes. Wheely. Speed bump. Okay. More. All right, so. Oh. There you go. Okay.

Oh, ramp. Oh, yeah, now you. Okay, I'm going for a jump. Let me get some speed. I'm gonna hold it. So go on that side, now. You sure about this? Well, don't, don't hit me. Well, I don't know what I'm gonna do. Just go right, go right over. God. Okay. When you hit the ramp, kind of pop the wheelie a little bit. Okay.

Oh, yeah. Lemme try. You wanna try? Okay. You wanna ramp? Give me the teardrops. Put that thing down. Back in to see, if it goes slow. Oh. Yeah. I think. Yeah. Here we go.

Nice. Nice. Yeah, buddy. Something ripped. Oh yeah, you, you popped the zipper. Okay. That's a sign. You can also sit on it. Oh look, I repaired it. Hmm. Okay. Push. Um. It is, it's heavy duty, it's very. Man, lemme get a better, well, man, lemme get a better look at it. It's got, it's got a brake. I mean, those are bike tires, air filled, four big 12 inch tires. This kind of stuff that helps with in, when you're injured is expensive.

I mean, look at this. Look at the tricks. That's a new sport. Look at the tricks I'm capable of. Of course when your knees hurt, you can't do that. Yeah, but when your knees no longer hurt, you get it for those reasons. Yeah. You, you take it to the club and you do that in front of everybody. Okay. All right. I think I've seen enough. Whew. Something is going to be $600. It has to be this, the placards there.

This has to be the most expensive thing. I don't know. It's basically a foot replacement. Think about it. It's not a $600 thing. What? I don't think so. I think whatever's next is 600. So we're waiting for something to be even more expensive than this four. wheel all terrain quad knee scooter. Up next, we have the Skin Centrick Advanced Skin Repair Serum.

I mean. Hmm. This can't be $600. No, well, you can glow like never before. Use after cleansing skin. Oh. Well, you wiped your face on that mattress, so now I think you're good to go. Take an appropriate amount of serum around the face and pat until the. product is absorbed into the skin. And then it's got a lot of ingredients, including genta, genitalia skara. root extract, gentiana, gentiana.

Genitalia root. Uh, I'm gonna put some on the back of my hand, like they do on the commercials. I'm gonna put it on my face and see if I glow. Pat. You didn't wash first. Glow like never before is what it says. I'm about to educate you. Okay. When you're looking up skin products, which as a 48-year-old man I have done before.

Uhhuh. They list them out and they'll be like, best drugstore brand best so and so. Drugstore, the whole point of being at a drugstore is that it's not nearly. as expensive as these specialty skin brands that would not sell at CVS. Uhhuh. So, I mean, 75 milli, milliliters. What? You're not answering the, the big question. You look like you're glowing, yes.

How do I look? Uh, uh, wet. I look damp. I look like I'm sweaty. And it's not an instant thing. This is a, over the course of weeks, you might notice a difference. Well you might not, and by then you've bought at least two of these. So I just think that. It's a lot of it in here. I don't, we're not in the $400 territory for this because. No way. That. Hope not. I definitely can no longer feel my face or smell anything.

I think we might actually be down here at a hundred dollars for this. Let's hope so. Last but not least, we have the Nasal Fresh MD Dual Powered Nasal Irrigation System. Ooh, I love a, this is a fancy Neti Pot is what this is. Electronic Neti Pot already filled with brain eating amoebas, I mean distilled water. Uhhuh, yeah. And then you put. You might wanna stir that. Basically salt, well, I don't wanna stick a, I'll just, I'll. just do that and then look at that.

Oh. It's got a snake that comes out and then it, you seal it up your nose, it'll go in one, out the other. And you push the button and it squirts it up one and it sucks out the other. And it deposits the nasty down in here in the bottom. So if you've got any Boogies, they're gonna come out in this little chamber. So keep your eye on the chamber. I'm, alright, so I'm gonna put this thing on. Maybe start on low, medium. High. Okay. Okay. Alright. Alright, so then.

Sure about that? I mean, it's on there to be used. It's not like. Well it's your first time though. This is the level, don't use it. Your first time. It's my only time. Okay. Alright. And then. I think I'm cr, I think I've created a seal and then I, I think it's sealed. Does it look sealed? Well, I'm not it. It's all about does it feel sealed? Okay. And then here we go. Turn it on. Oh, you hold it down.

Oh, my face is filling up. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you let it out. Oh. Let it out. Oh. Here it comes. Oh, my head is filling up. Yeah, here it comes. No. Oh, it's coming out. No, no boogie yet. Oh my God. Oh, is it good or bad? 'cause it seems like you're enjoying it. It's definitely flow, it's full, oh. The salt is not mixed at all. Well, you should have stirred it.

Oh, stay away from the machine. Stay away from the machine. What do I do? Don't go into the machine. This is the clean reservoir, man. I'm sorry. All right. And now I turn it around and go the other way. Oh, oh, oh, oh God. It stopped. It stopped. Oh, it's coming out of my ears. No, no, no. It's coming outta my ears. It's probably not. It's probably not actually. Oh, oh my ears. What's it? Oh, my ears. Maybe you shouldn't go.

Maybe going on high was a bad idea. You try. Okay. So, uh, we've got replacement nozzles here. Pull those off with your dirty ass fingers. Okay? I don't wanna touch that. And I'm gonna put. I mean, my ears are filled with water. Good. What? It went the wrong direction. Okay. I'm telling you, dude. Okay. I can't hear anything. Good. All right. Okay, now, wow. I got a different shape. I don't know which one's preferred.

Fill that back up. Oh gosh. Oh yeah, you gotta empty the bottom. Oh yeah, you're, there's weird noises coming outta you. Yeah, did you hear that? Yeah. I was trying to equalize, did you hear that? Oh God. Let's see if you can hear that. I'm a little bit. Shh, be quiet. Oh, I'm worried. Did you hear that? Yes. I'm gonna let them. I'm all right. You didn't have any boogies come out.

My nose was kind of hurting inside. I didn't know if a whole scab would pop off or something. Here we go. Sorry. Yeah, I'm nose, I'm prone to nose nosebleed, so you might just, this. thing might just fill up with blood. That is not gonna be permissible. Oh. Yeah. Oh. Share it with the whole family, or at least your partner. Oh, yeah. Okay, here we go. Go to high. There we go. All right, see, it fills up your, your sinuses.

Oh. Oh. It is weird, isn't it? Is any boogie coming out? No. When you switch it up, it's gotta, the whole thing's gotta start over. Look out. I mean, I don't, you gotta be prepared for that. You gotta be prepared for that. See? And then it, then everything that was coming out is now getting filled up. And then his, his ear might start smooshing, you're leaking, dude.

You're leaking. Push harder. Why are you looking down? Look up. Pray. Quit giving me so many directions. What's it feel like? Okay, that one. My right one's clogged a little bit. Well, that's the whole thing, I have a deviated septum and so. Oh, that second time it was going into the left and then it was. getting stuck up on the right. The first time it went into right and came out in the left, it was pretty nice.

We gotta put it up here. No boogies. I don't think this is more expensive than the scooter. No. And I think relative. I don't, I don't know about that, uh, facial serum behind Rhett. Serum. But I think we're really, we've done a good, these are relative. to each other in a good way, so. You think that that scooter, let's just, just like last time, figuring out. the, the least expensive and the most expensive are really important, so.

Um, also, I know you had your eyes on the, um, you know, the, the. ex, the pedal exerciser situation. Yep. But you have to get four outta six of these in the right order, in. order to be able to take home one of your, one of the products achieved. Okay. So there's a lot on the line for you. Okay. Okay. So this right here is not $400. Not $400. Yeah. Yeah. Let's switch these two. So the pillow might be $400, but I feel like.

And then I think. I, oh, you think that's, let's slide these. I think you, this might be. I mean, again, it's only $2 difference. I think, maybe it's even this. No, no, no. Switch back. You think so? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Now, okay, I just wanna sanity check. There's no way this thing is $600. No. Right. Right. But it is, but it feels so good. And we got up to 60, right? It's, it's like just the bottom half of an exercise bike.

Yeah. I think it might be 400 though. But this is orthopedic and it's four pillows, and I think you could talk somebody dealing. with back issues into paying $400 for this. Mm-hmm. Okay. This is sanity check. Well, they're well made. Locked in. Well made. Okay, you get, you get a chance to switch after I tell you how many have correct. You have zero correct. Alright, so we were, so, we were right that the most expensive thing is not. the scooter, which makes sense because. How about relative though?

It's just a bike, bro. How many do we have? It's a little bike. What could be $600. Exercise thing. What? I mean, did you feel the construction of this thing? I don't, okay, all right. We're switching it. And this right here, if you sell this for too much, you're taking advantage. of people with uh, foot problems. But this is, you're taking advantage of people. I don't know. We had zero right. So I think we make the switch that I was talking about here. We also didn't, we have to switch this one.

We have to move this one. Yep, people. People pay a lot for hair stuff. Yep, yep. People pay a lot for hair stuff. But this is, that's crazy. No it's not. No. I think this might be $600, dude. I don't think it's $600. I got a whole panel, like a, like a whole red light thing that was this tall for that much. And this is like just something that you put on your head. Yeah, but it's for hair growth. It's the same stuff, man. I know, but it, people want to pay money for that.

But we, we, we switched it. We switched it. So we're good. We gotta switch these. Everything's moved now. But hold on, but if we get these four right, we're right anyway. Yep. Okay. Are you locked in? Yes. I'm gonna start from the bottom. Yeah. At $104.99 is, the Nasal Fresh MD Dual Powered Nasal Irrigation System. Yes. At $199.99 is, the CanDo Magneciser Pedal Exerciser.

Oh crap. I tried to tell you, again and again. It's just a little bike. You're the one that put the scooter at $600. $200. It is, that is gonna be five, uh, $400. Go ahead. At $201.99 is the. Skin Centrick Advanced Skin Repair Serum. We were so close. Yeah. $2 away. At $209.99 is the Avana Kind Bed Orthopedic Support Pillow. Correct. We got two right. Now if we get these two right, which is impossible, we're gonna win.

At $399 is the, Knee Rover QUAD All Terrain Knee Walker, and at $599 was the. HairMax LaserBand. This is $600, that is such a rip off. Well, not if it grows. We got. A hundred and some more hairs per square inch. We have to, we should. Yeah. People pay a lot for hair loss stuff man. And uh, we will find out by eBaying it. Yep. Thanks for commenting and sharing this video. You know what time it is.
