5 Jobs That Will Exist in the Future
We've got a list of some interesting. jobs that do not exist, but they will in. the future. Let's talk about that. [Music]. Good morning. If you are in the job. market or ever will be in the job. market, listen up people, especially if. you will be in the job market in the. future because we are about to go. through some jobs that are futuristic.
You know, the interesting thing about. this is the fact that if you had to come. to us as little boys, you know, back. when they used to ask you the question, what do you want to be when you grow up? Yeah. I was going to say, what do you. want to do? But it is, what do you want. to be when you grow up? And I said, "Fairman, police officer, taxi cab driver." You. know, the typical stuff that kids want. to be. Yeah. And you said it like this. I talk like that when I want to be a. taxi cab driver. But if you said, "Hey, son, you're going to be a YouTuber. A.
full-time YouTuber." And I'd be like, "I. don't like tubes, man. I don't like. dealing with tubes. I don't know what. you're talking about. I like a plumber.". So plumber is a noble profession. There's nothing wrong with a plumber. But the point is is that we do a job. that didn't exist when we were kids, much less 10 years ago. It didn't exist. You piper. What's a uppiper? YouTuber, right? It's different. Is it a Yeah, we. are, you know, we are in the f we are in. the present, which used to be the past. and or used to be the future. So anyway, this is a subject that's close to our. hearts. Uh but it's even closer to the. hearts of sparks and honey.
We should have called ourselves sparks. and honey. Missed opportunity. By the. way, you would be honey. Honey, I knew. you were going to say that. Yes, because. Sparks is not much better. Sparkling. Honey. Sparkles and Honey. Sparks and. Honey is a trend spotting firm. Yes, there is such a thing as a trend. spotting firm. The people who work at. Sparks and Honey, uh they put they give. us things to aspire to. No, there's a. wall up in Sparks and Honey and they. encourage their employees to put.
imaginative jobs up there like because. they're thinking they're trying to get. ahead of the curve, you know, and so. they put these ideas up there for jobs. of the future. And we looked at that. list and there's a few that we really. thought, oh yeah, that that makes sense. Let's talk about that. So, we're going. to go through the list of a few of these. jobs that they came up with at Sparks. and Honey and then Sparks and Honey. These Sparks and Honey are going to give. you some ideas for jobs that we think. are from the Okay. Well, one occurs. ourselves and link so we don't get sued. by Sparks and Honey. We are not Sparks. and Honey. We are Retin Link. Okay. One.
occupation from their list that they. predict will exist is a 3D printing. handyman. Now this is you've heard about. 3D printers. This is nothing new. Well, it's kind of new. It's the trendy new. thing there. I think they're obviously. they will become more affordable so that. everyone has them. They are pretty. affordable now. Yes, there will be. handymen who repair those. But that is. not what I'm talking about. What? Well, it's not what they talked about in their. list and honey. Yeah. They are talking. about someone who just comes to your.
house and they could be a plumber. They. could be a carpenter and be like that. pipe. Oh, that pipe's got that pipe. You. know, you think got a problem. Now, we. gonna have to go to Home Depot. I got to. go down into Home Depot. I got to get a. new one. Hold on. Let me go to my van. and get my 3D printer and I'll print you. a new pipe and then I'll put that pipe. in there and I'll charge you. You know. the difference. Do you need a new remote. control for your television? Okay. You. don't use televisions in the future, but. I can give you one. You know, it would. be like, oh, I see there at the foot of. your couch. One of the No, no, no.
You're thinking small. You're thinking. small. I'm going to be printing. television remotes for the future. Touchscreen television remotes all out. of my printer. You want a faucet that is. made out of the letters that spell your. name? I can do that. It's going to be. simple. It's going to be like, "Oh, your. kid prematurely uh busted his pinñata at. his birthday party. I can print a new. piñata." Now, you got to put the candy. in here. I can't print candy yet, but I. can print a piñata. Front yard piñata. maker. Another idea. That's another.
We'll move on for from that, but you get. it. Another idea is the digital uh sorry. the personal life log archivist. Now. everything you do in the future. especially is going to be archable. Meaning that you've got a phone that's. keeping up with where you're at during. the day. Your GPS coordinates, notes. that you're taking, texts that you're. sending, emails that you're writing, emails that you're receiving, pictures. that you're taking, journal entries that. you're writing, voice memos that you're. making, and all this is going into your. phone and other places. But in the.
future, all that's just going to be. archived. It kind of is archived. already, but it's going to need to be. archived and organized. So, you can. basically just like there's a time. machine on the on the Mac where you can. go back and bring up a different point. You're going to be able to go back and. bring up a certain day and you be like, "Oh, yeah. That was the day I got. Mexican. Then I got Pepto. I got sick. And then I met that dude who printed. that remote control for me and I was. like, "No, no, I don't need a remote. control. I need a pinñata." Then I made. a voice memo to say, "Really like. piñatas. Should get these every.
weekend." So this is someone who's going. to put all this stuff together. I mean, why would you want to pay for that? Why. do they think I would want that? Do you. want to seamlessly be able to access. that moment when you were like, "Really. like pinatas? Get the purple one that. looks like a dove.". No, I don't think I want that one. But. the other one on the list that Purple. Dove, ain't that a print song? Purple Rain. is the Prince song. Should have been but. he like Doves Cry. He should have done. Purple Dove. Two different two different.
Prince songs coming together. Uh they. had another one digital death manager. which is basically someone who once you. die they take kind of all the stuff you. were talking about. All the the digital. remnants of your life. This is kind of. sad but they put it together into. something which I guess could could put. a silver lining on your life or put it. all in perspective. There's all this. stuff hanging out there. What they can. what they can also do is they can edit. your online presence for posterity. So, oh yeah, that that year that he had.
those tweets where he was kind of uh. ranting about his family members in a. negative way. I'm going to delete that. for him because that's my job. I'm going. to manage his digital life after his. death. So, this goes backwards. It could. go forward. We don't need that. I'm. going to do that for you. If you die. first, I'm going to keep tweeting for. you and stuff. Are you trying to get at. my trust or something? No, no, no. I'm. just saying that like how much are you. going to charge? It's probably going to. be strategic for us to like if one of us. dies, we're going to have to continue. this red link thing somehow, right? And.
so if you die, I'm going to tweet on. your behalf. I'm funny. I can tweet, man. And I'm going to just I'm going to. be tweeting. I'll change your What we. need to do is we need to take a lot of. different I don't want it to seem like. I'm still alive. That's not the point. I'm going to take different new profile. picks. So like 5 years after your death, it'll be like boom, link updated his. profile picture. I think about what. people are going to think about that. Yeah, he's dead. How cool is that? That. he's still updating his fa his his. stuff. I do find it interesting that. there's so much it's, you know, before. authors died and then they had had their. books, but now everyone has their whole.
life on the internet. When they die, it's all there and it needs to be. packaged, cleaned up, and managed. Well, I think there should be you should your. Twitter profile and your LinkedIn and. your Facebook and all that should still. be up there, but there should be like a. grave site next to your in the lower. lefthand corner of your your Twitter. profile. So be like, "This guy's dead. RIP." But you can still go back and. enjoy all his humorous insights and. stuff. And if he keeps tweeting, it's. even more interesting. That's my idea. Okay. So, yeah, that's interesting.
We've got two that we've come up with. I. I think that sarcasm is such a part of. our culture now that it's only going to. continue to become more and more. sarcastic as time goes by, but. everything comes full circle and I think. we're going to have a backlash reaction. to how much sarcasm there is in our. culture right now. Hey, I agree with. this. And I think that there are going. to be unsarcasm speech therapists. People who teach you how to be 100%. sincere in every communication that you. have and you're going to be the envy of.
all your friends because socially that. will be the standard. You you can't. speak with sarcasm. I think in the. future there's going to be an occupation. called doggy DJ. You know how dogs can. hear certain frequencies that we as. humans cannot hear? I can hear him in my. left ear. No, you can't. And what's. going to happen is there's going to be. these clubs and this this cool music. that's going to be happening that. I I was going to say adults, humans are. going to listen to it because they think. it makes them cool. You know, only dogs. can hear this. People will be dancing in.
clubs and there won't be any sound. They're going to be there with their. dogs is where I thought you were going. You know, people take their dogs to dog. parks restaurants and they That would be. stage one. Stage one, they'll bring. their dogs and their dogs will be like. And then they'll say, "You know what? The dogs aren't happy. Let's leave them. at home and there'll be a whole new. genre of music called doggy music, but. it's for humans. Okay. You can't hear. that? I bet you that won't happen. You. can't hear that? I bet you that won't. happen. I bet you it will happen. If it. happens, I'll get you a dog. You know. what time it is. Hi, I'm Chris. I'm. Shannon and this is Haley. We're from.
Dustin, Alabama, and it's time to spin. the wheel of mythicality. All right. All right. Make sure that you. pick up the new mythical shoe 2.0. It's. now gray and it's now leather. And a. portion of the proceeds of the sales of. the mythical 2.0 go to help fight. injustice around the world. And also. bends like this. Awkward elevator situation. Let's start. like this. Like we're coming up in an. elevator.
[Music]. Ding. I just heard a ding, but the door. didn't open. Don't talk to me. You're a. stranger. I don't I don't This is This. is an elevator. Don't look at me. Don't. talk to me. I'm not looking at you, dude. I'm just saying the door didn't. open. I just wanted to point that out. I. heard a ding, but the door didn't. speak to me. I don't speak to strangers. on elevators. Just look at the numbers. like normal people. But it's not moving, dude. Don't look at me. The door. Don't talk.
to me. When you get trapped in an elevator with. somebody, I always think you just if you. get trapped in an elevator, pee in the. corner. The only thing I'm thinking is. what if I get trapped with these people?
