Why Staying in Toxic Relationships Will Ruin You | Ask, Tell, Confess
Ask till confess. Ask till [music] confess. Ask. >> tell [music] confess. [singing]. >> Hello friends. Welcome to another Askel. conf. >> Okay. >> Okay. He said shh. [laughter].
>> How is everybody today. >> doing dandy? >> We are mass filming today. So if you. guys are wondering why we're in the same. outfits, it's because that's what we're. doing. >> Getting through the holiday. >> We are in the same outfit. >> Yes. >> Break it up a little bit. We're good. We're good. >> It's just you know what? It's the end of. the year. We've got a lot of to do and. uh the season ends when in January. >> Mhm. >> Season ends in January and then it's. book tour baby. >> Yeah. So, >> we're excited. I can't wait.
[laughter]. >> None of us know what to talk about. >> Yeah, we're not allowed to talk about. anything. >> That was so good. She just went. >> We all just went silent. [laughter]. >> I get yelled at anytime I try to give. details. >> I literally [laughter] I was staring at. her. I was like, "We've talked enough.". >> Yeah. >> I literally I hate it because I would. tell you guys everything. But. >> she would. >> Yeah. And I don't see anything wrong. with that because at least people can. start preparing and get ready. You know, >> things change. I like solidified details. before.
>> I mean, I think we're pretty solidified. in. We know where we're going, what. we're doing, and who we're doing. >> I'm a. >> Thank you so much for that. >> What happened? >> She called me a logistics [ __ ] I'm. very. >> on details. >> Yes, she is. And it's. >> You guys, my dog's breath smells so bad. Like It It's gotten worse in the past. like six months. And somebody said that. it might be a bad tooth in there. But. I'm like, the dude don't have very many.
more teeth to get rid of. >> those back ones though. Once they rot, >> but what am I supposed to do? Just let. him gum everything. >> You start going to softer foods for. senior dogs. >> Do not call him a senior dog. >> I saw that coming. [laughter]. >> You saw red. >> You. [laughter]. This is young and spry. >> I'm trying to help him out here. >> He's only seven. >> Little canned food.
>> He will be eight in May. >> Seven and a half. >> You're not old, honey. Don't listen to. that turd. [laughter]. God, >> how dare you insult my damn dog. That is rude. [laughter]. >> All right. Well, I'm going to kick this. off. >> Let the air get sucked out of the room. She said, >> "Literally going to kick this off. because I already know you were going to. try to steal the one I got.". >> We all were reading the same one and. went. >> So, you guys wrote in on our Facebook.
page and on our YouTube. If you are. members over there, you can be a part of. Ask Confess. This one's rough. Got to strap in. Kate, she said, "Well, not my story, but I did. receive a quick call from my bestie. while she was in a panic. Her. two-year-old daughter, this girl gives. us a run for our money, was eating fruit. snacks. When Bestie noticed something. dripping from her mouth, she quickly ran. over to examine what was going on. The.
little had blood gushing from her mouth. Bestie picked up the fruit snack and it. had legs. It indeed was a swollen tick. that fell off their dog. It was blood. from the tick from the dog. Oh, and the. dog is being treated for limes. So, she. quickly called the nurse's line, and the. nurse clearly had to make some calls. When she got a call back, Little had. stumped four nurses and three. pediatricians. They were told to watch. her closely in the upcoming days. And. all is well with Little until our next.
crazy adventure. >> I'm crying cuz I'm gagging so bad. >> What? and would make that little girl. think a tick looked scrumptious. >> What about a tick is tantalizing for a. child? >> But the really big ones, they look like. gushers. >> I've never seen. >> I don't know if you've ever seen them on. like like cows and horses. >> The really big ones look like gushers. >> I never thought they looked like a. gusher. They look like when you're like. little, you probably don't know anybody. >> It's goddamn legs.
>> That's true. >> I mean, >> that is true. >> I've never once. And I bet you it was. like very docile though, cuz that means. it was like full full. >> docsel. [laughter]. >> All right. Why is he flexing his. butthole like that? >> Ew. >> It's talking to us. [laughter]. >> Okay. >> Crunchy Allen Jackson, get up here right. now. [laughter]. >> God, this dog just strutting around. You. got to poop. [laughter].
I just the the whole tick thing is. disgusting. >> I freak out with ticks. Have you guys. ever had a tick on you and then like. when you pull it off like you can. literally feel crunch. crunch. I had one in my head and you can. feel it. It's like when you pull it off. cuz you can feel like ripping. >> cuz it's got it like hooks in you. >> It does. >> Digs its head into your skin. I pulled. one off my arm the other day but I I. felt like for like the next hour I was. like. >> cuz it's like a [clears throat] venom. that they have or something. It like. numbs.
>> Have you ever had one? Yeah. I grew up. in the Midwest. I thought I had one. right in our backyard one time. Remember. when I found that mole? >> You made me look and then I thought it. was a tick. >> Yeah. She bent over the couch. She said, "Hey, I need you to check them for. ticks.". >> Yeah, it was a mole. And my little mole. in the hole that looked like a tick. >> We all checked it. >> Yeah. >> I think you just wanted to show us your. butthole. >> Yeah. I think I never want to show. anybody my butthole. I mean, she's cute, though. But. >> I've seen her plenty of time. >> She's been through a lot online.
[laughter]. >> She's been through a lot online. [gasps]. >> Hi, Do you know what your butthole looks. like? >> Honestly, no. >> You've never spread your cheeks in the. mirror? >> I've no [cough and clears throat] I have. done that, but I'm not as like agile to. like see look back, >> you know, like I. >> No, you just look in the mirror. >> But my mirror's kind of high, so. whenever like. >> You've never put a mirror on the floor? >> No, I never tried standing on the. counter though. Or you can get, you. know, the one of those. >> take a selfie. >> Yeah. >> Or no. Or get one of those mirrors that. like goes up against the wall and you. lay it on the ground and you just squat.
over it. >> Never thought about that. >> One of my confesses literally says, "I. took a picture of my butthole to see my. hemorrhoids and it's actually kind of. cute.". >> That was one of my confessions. >> That's what that person said. Yeah. She. was trying. >> Have you ever had a hemorrhoid? >> Oh, for sure. >> Where'd you get them from? Pushing too. much? >> I think pushing too much. Yeah. >> You're a pooper. You poop a lot. I'm a. pooper. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But it's like. I've definitely had them before, but I. didn't know what they were previously, like maybe till like maybe six months. ago. >> Have you ever had a hemmy? >> No. Lucky you. >> Really?
>> Not that tight little sphincter. >> Got one when I was pregnant. >> Keep lifting weights. You'll have one. >> It's going to pop out. >> Sorry. >> Yay. [laughter]. >> Have you ever had a hernia? >> No. >> Those suck. >> Oh, for sure. Yeah. >> What is a hernia? It's like uh muscle in. your stomach. >> It like kind of your I don't know how it. is exactly, but your separates muscle. muscle separates and it becomes like a. little ball. It's like a hemorrhoid on. your body. >> Yeah. So your muscle separates and part.
of like your guts kind of come out. >> Yeah. >> The [ __ ]. out. [laughter]. >> Who's next? [gasps] Who's next? Sometimes I think we forget we have. microphones in front of us. >> We do a lot. >> Yeah. >> Go ahead. I just read mine. What. happened? >> Mine's just a sad one. >> Oh god. >> Leave it to you to. >> go to the next got to go in order. >> My next one was the dick one. >> Oh, gotcha. >> I only got one. Okay. Um gay.
>> Okay. >> Um this person said, "I wanted to send. the story of how I lost my son. We were. teaching him that our 14-year-old I'm. >> Are you kidding? That's the vibes we're bringing?" Okay, you know what? Everybody's confessions. mean a lot to us. >> I know. Okay. >> I'm not mentally prepared for this, but. go ahead. >> Yep. We were teaching him that our. 14-year-old dog was dying. He had a. great idea to take her for a few walks. back the road from our house to have.
special time with her before she left. us. It's a woods road. So, on our first. walk, I was ahead of him a bit. And then. I hear screaming. He was climbing a pile. of huge logs and they tumbled on top of. him. I ran as fast as I could to him, called 911. It took 18 minutes before. anyone came. They worked on him, but it. was of no use. In that instance, a. double rainbow appeared and he was gone. That was 4 years ago. Now, on October. 18th, he was 7 years old. >> God, that's a baby. >> I know.
>> I'm so sorry for your. >> I know. I don't know this person's name, but we love you. I'm so sorry for your. loss. That's horrific, dude. I'm sorry to say that one after the tick. one. I didn't [snorts]. [laughter]. >> made me so sad. >> Okay. Well, >> all right. Well, that's [ __ ].
terrible. >> Thanks, Haley, for sharing with us. >> You want to go next memes while you. Okay. All right. Let me see if I can. lighten the mood a little bit here. That was a rough one. That was a rough. one. All right. How about this one? Please keep me anonymous. If your. husband has been caught messaging and. deleting messages on Facebook and. confront him with these things and he. lies to you, then gets offensive and. trying to blame me for not having sex.
with him. He deleted messages, has. someone messaging at 5:30 a.m., and is. always putting me down. Are my gut. feelings correct? He's talking with. other women and I'm just a dumbass for. saying how do I get him to have a real. conversation without being hateful and. do and downright rude. How can I trust. what he says? >> Well, you go with your gut intuition. >> Yeah. >> Well, it's not only that. I think you. answered your own question. And anytime. a man makes you feel like that, you. don't.
Sometimes you have to be okay with never. getting the apology that you deserve or. the answer or closure that you want. And. you need to remove your energy. That is. going to be the biggest statement to. that man is you withdrawing from his. life and shutting him out completely. >> 100%. >> I think it's only going to hurt her more. finding out the truth rather than just. leaving. >> Yeah. And if he's already lying and. hiding it, he knows he's doing something. wrong. >> 100%. >> If he's not cheating on you already, the.
intention is there. And that's just as. worse. And emotional cheating is way. worse than somebody else. I don't care. what anybody says. I would I would. rather the person I'm with somebody else. than have a continuous uh relationship, emotional relationship with them. >> Absolutely. >> So, I think you know the answer to your. own questions, you just need. confirmation. And you know, if you. um are feeling really weak right now, that's normal. You know, like a lot of. women when they're in those situations,
they don't want to leave or they want to. try to make the man love them more or. they want to try to compete with the. women that he's, you know, cheating. with. And you're never going to win. >> Why would you want to be with somebody. who doesn't want to be with you? >> Exactly. >> I I when I was young and dumb, I used to. always like be super self-conscious and. these guys would cheat on me and all. that kind of stuff. And then one day I. was just like, why would I want someone. who doesn't want me? And when I held the.
power, it all changes. Your entire. mindset changes in that moment. >> Yeah. If you're in the position to. leave, leave. Even if you're not in the. position to leave, leave. >> Start making the the moves towards that. Absolutely. Cuz that's gaslighting, too. >> Use your pain for purpose. You know, like you don't want to just be beaten. down. And literally staying is going to. cause more trauma to yourself. You don't. deserve that. You deserve to be happy. and free and and find somebody who. really loves you or better yet fall in.
love with yourself. >> Yeah. The best love you can have is. self- loveve. >> If I could go back to my [ __ ]. past, I would have not wasted so much. time on men. I would have literally done. my own thing, been way I was. independent. I didn't need anybody. Nobody ever supported me or helped me. It was always me supporting them. Like. relationships are cool, but they're a. lot of work. And you know, it it needs. to be beneficial and mutual respect-wise.
and just the relationship. You guys have. to wake up every day and choose each. other and choose not to um hurt the. other person, especially on purpose. He. knows what he's doing. Yeah. >> If he's deleting stuff, he doesn't want. you to see it because he knows he's. wrong. Mhm. >> So, I hope that uh helped you and give. us an update later on down the road and. let us know if you took our advice or. not. >> I saw one of the confessors say that. she's only staying with her significant. other because they have kids and I'm. like, that's not healthy for you or your.
like kids. Like, that's way worse than. staying together. >> That's what my parents did. >> You stayed together for the kids. I. think that's such an old mindset. >> It's it's an it's a copout. >> Yeah. >> You guys are saying that you're staying. together for the kids, but you guys are. both too lazy to move on and do the. work. Mhm. >> You guys are in such a toxic situation. that it's like a toxic margaround and. you guys are addicted to that, you know, >> and you're holding the kids on the ride. >> Nothing to do with the kids because the. kids know that you guys hate each other. >> We've always known. We can hear the. arguments. We can see it. We know when.
there's love in the house and when. there's not. >> So staying for kids is a complete. copout. >> Yeah. 100%. >> Don't do that ever. You're going to end. up kids up more. >> Yeah. It really. >> she [laughter] said, >> "Um, all right. I already talked about. buttholes.". >> Okay. >> I mean, we already had a We already. found out that Himemes's got little. dingleberries. >> Dingleberry. >> Wait, did I miss [clears throat] that? I. hemorrhoids. Okay. >> You were just talking the bloody. dingleber.
>> Yes. [laughter]. >> No, he talked about washing his ass. >> You got to wash your ass. >> This one said, um, happened to me this. week with my 14-year-old son. He got. suspended from school. The reason he. submitted an assignment for construction. class. And in the PowerPoint talking. about erecting things, he put a photo of. a fully erect penis. Parenting as a teenager is these days is. not for the faint of heart, and that's. for sure. Someone please send help. >> I think that's genius and hilarious. He.
should have got I get that it was. inappropriate cuz it's school and they. have to penalize him for that, but that. boy is going to be a comedian one day. >> That's hilarious. That That's like such. a cash move. >> Yeah. >> Oh, man. Such a cash move. >> Yeah, that's funny. >> Damn. >> Good for him. >> I would have gone and bought him ice. cream. [laughter]. >> I'd have been like, "You're just like. your dad.". >> But I got in trouble in school one time. and my mom literally ended up just like, "Okay, you're not in actual trouble over. it." Because. >> so many times. >> Really? >> Oh my gosh. I was I would call my mom.
before the school could and be like, "Hey, I just got kicked out of school. Do you want me to bring you lunch or. what do you do you want Taco Bell? I can. swing by on my way home sort of thing. Like. >> never even got. >> I threw a desk at a teacher one time. >> Called her up. Threw a desk at her cuz. she took my phone out of my purse. >> I would light you up. >> Bro, I I was in detention [laughter] all. the time. I would fight. I would. >> The one with 30 chickens [laughter]. donkey. >> Yeah. In middle school I got suspended. because this kid was paint and I didn't.
know it. And I went up and hit the bag. He had dumped a bunch of white out in it. and they said I was assisting in it. That's the time I was talking about. My. mom went there and she was like, "Are. you not listening to her words? She. didn't do it." And the assistant. principal was like, "No, she assisted in. the those kill brain cells." And my. mom's like, "Get the [ __ ] out of here.". And so she just took me home. >> Wait, I can't get past the fact that he. was huffing white out. >> I didn't know that was a thing. [clears throat]. >> I didn't either. I knew I knew about the. gold paint, but not. >> I emptied the white out into a bag. And. >> I only use white out to paint my nails.
God, I'm so glad I didn't become a. huffer in my [ __ ] I've done a lot of. but huffing is rough. >> Rough on the brain. >> So rough. >> Yeah. So, but yeah, I got Dude, I. literally couldn't stay in school to. save my life. >> I I hated school. >> Same. >> I loved it. >> Did you ever get suspended? >> No. >> Me neither. >> No. [ __ ]. >> Good for you. You [laughter]. dorks. >> Yeah. >> You know, I used to sit I used to sit in. the secretary like office to eat my. lunches. >> I wasn't a teacher. Oh, you're Bailey.
That's how Bailey is. >> I wasn't a teacher's pet, but I was. pretty I mean, I was like next to it. Like, they just didn't mess with like. they just knew I wasn't going to do. anything. >> Reading the part in your book about like. that last time, like the final kind of. straw. That [ __ ] sent me. >> Yeah. >> Sent me. >> Yeah. My teachers hated me. I was not a. good student. I was not very studious. Still, I'm not studious. >> I will fall asleep. You can't put me in. a seminar or anything. I just. automatically start. >> nodding. I can't do it. >> Also found out,
>> is that an ADD thing or an ADHD thing? >> Yeah, it's like the attention deficit of. it, like you're being able to stay on. I. found out way later in life though that. I'm dyslexic. So, I just always thought. I was bad at school. Like. >> my entire life I was bad at school. >> and then in my adulthood. I was like, "Oh, that's dyslexia. I got it.". >> Look at you now. >> Look at you now. You freaking. >> Yeah. >> You're just crushing it at life memes. >> So proud of you. >> All right, guys. Thanks for tuning in to. another episode of Astro Comp. See you.
guys next week. Bye.
