so I looked at my phone everybody call. me like you know LeBron just posted your. song Blah J BL J BL J I'm like what yeah. but it say he Ain know not one word but. it didn't matter the words he did I. didn't watch LeBron rap songs and I know. the words for real he knew ow that was. good for him cuz he don't be knowing. songs for Real come on man my. myice SCE got the roll of dice that's. why all my life i' been grinding all my. life all my life all my life sacrifice.

hle P the price want a slice got the. roll a dice that's why all my life been. grinding on my. [Music]. life hello welcome to another episode of. Club Shay I am your host Shannon sharp. I'm also the proprietor of Club Shay the. young lady that's stopping by for. conversation on the drink today is a. natural born star she's one of the most. promising Young Voices in rap she's a. Grammy nominated hitmaker a gold and. platinum selling Superstar a member of. the 2023 dou XL Freshman Class queen of.

Anthem princess of Memphis everyone's. favorite new artist big low yeah here is. glorilla. you know you are so good with. introduction I love it like you just m. me remember who the [ __ ] I am you you. that girl you her before we get started. go take this is my own personal knac. you're going to leave here with a bottle. okay so thank you so much for stopping. by Club che check all righty we taking.

it to the Dome we taking it to the Dome. I just got my Chaser but we going to the. Dome all of this all of it what okay. they go you got to hold on we got to tap. the table with it okay I might fall on. the table after I take this. one. Dam you more woman than I ever be man. doing all. that there some [ __ ] right there yeah ah.

we good I mean we we got your own we got. your own uh concoction okay yeah so I'm. G let this shot settle in okay you going. to let that settle in and then we going. to both pull right okay okay I do what. we doing I mean pretty soon after this. you might be interviewing. me I feel me the cut okay let's let's. talk about the uh your new single y glow. is going crazy in the streets on the. internet tell me what's your thinking. what what's your thought process in. doing y glow um so basically your glow.

is like um me talking to myself like. there was a song actually me showing. myself love and amping myself up you. know what I'm saying and because you. know like we all go through go through. stuff as artists and stuff and you know. we just get to we all got dark times and. stuff so yeah glow was like a hype song. for myself but it turned out to be a. hype song for everybody everybody glow. you feel me yeah and so yeah so did you. did you forget who you were.

I didn't forget who I. was um it's just. like okay so you know like I'm this shot. got me kind of [ __ ] up it done hit. that quick. damn okay so I didn't forget who I was. you know what I'm saying I forgot yeah. who the [ __ ] I am like sometimes certain. [ __ ] can get to you as like we all go. through that like I got tough skin at. the end of the day but should have get. to you and so like iot like [ __ ] you. graming on N ho you doing this like all.

that type [ __ ] so it was just me hyping. myself back up let myself know I'm that. [ __ ] because you I think sometimes. people look at us because we're. entertainers we're celebrities we make. money we do this where people know who. we are they forget that we're human and. after a while it starts coming with such. with such an avalanche feel it can start. to wear on you and you like hold on man. damn this I want hey I want to say. something back or I want to hey get on. get on somebody's platform and cuss. somebody out so I can understand what. you're feeling and what you're talking.

about is that the way you was kind of. feeling yeah and then you know me I I. don't respond a lot on the internet so I. just rather put it in my music okay and. that was just it what what you just say. what you going to put it in my music. what that. is m music that's right what that it it. would take so much for me to say it say. it right ah I know how to I can say it. right but it would take so much so. that's that's a Memphis thing mhm we we. put we tend to put RS out in words to.

got you in the middle oh M mm and cuin. Y so we so have have you always been. like this so this has been this way. since you were a little girl how we talk. yeah go to Memphis you gonna see. everybody talk just like me wow so did. when you started when you started in. this business did they try to get you to. change like how you talk because I mean. obviously like different languages you. can say and it sounds the same but the.

way you talk and the way you sing and. way it sounds is entirely how how you. able to do that so like you feel like. I'm country as hell like a corn carbon I. house but it's good I'm from rural South. Georgia so I'm like that also yeah and I. went to like when I first got in. television I went to classes I went to. path speech pathologist and I went to. everybody trying to change but at the. end of the day I was about to change who. I am mhm this country is slang in which. not slang the country countryisms.

people talk cuz I had never knew we had. an accent ever until like I blew up and. start going into other cities like I. never knew I really thought we talk. normal as hell and so once I start doing. interviews when I first blew up and. everybody like oh my God she so country.

and like they got an accent the accent. so strong I'm like damn this how this. everyday talking like this how we talk. well when you around everybody that. sound like you that's that's normal. until you get outside you like well damn. what the hell y'all talking about. exactly they be making me feel like I. speak like uh Spanish or song so the new. album everything everything but is it. everything everything or everything. everything everything everything no ars. no ARS everything everything everything. everything so how did you come up with.

that title wait you got to see it first. everything. everything okay St it together. everything everything that's. right hey Glo you not going to have me. walking up out here talking like this. now okay cuz I got I got to go on TV for. real you know they like the accent so. you know you might so you going to have. me with like Madonna with that fake. British accent you going to have be talk. be talking fake Memphis n it ain't going. to be fake though cuz you going to get. used to it no hell I ain't.

me to talk me so when you when you sit. down and you and you you doing the album. tell me what's going through your mind. when you want to do this album okay so. it's a project it's not going to be an. album it's going to be a mixtape okay a. mixtape and so um my thought process is. not thinking too hard okay because last. year I was thinking too hard because I. was in album mode because I was going to. drop my first album initially and so I. went to thinking like okay it got to be. big because I shot straight up and I was.

just big and so I'm like I was just. thinking too hard about it and so once I. had told God I'm like I want to do a. mixtape instead of album I want to do a. album I'm do a mixtape first and it's. like the songs just start flowing out. like every day I go to the studio I'm. making something like and they all. sounding good and so it was because I. got a mixt mod like I wasn't thinking. too hard on it and so yeah did you start. to overthink things because like you. said you came out with an album and said. okay obviously you blew up and then is. it a natural reaction or an instinct to.

try to come out with another album what. made you decide to go mixtape instead of. album Number Two see my first one wasn't. an album it was EP okay and so yeah um. after my EP did well I was like okay so. if the EP did well the album got to do. way better than EP because it's a album. like right and so it was just the. pressure of the word album okay I don't. know what about that word give you so. much pressure and make me overthink so. hard but that's what it was but you. still get rather some mixtape or an you. still EP you still got to drop Quality.

Music and you have that ability so why. why why why pressure yourself because. you're adding undue pressure on yourself. that doesn't need to be there I don't. know that's why I told myself to stop. overthinking because like I said I just. want to go too big like you know what. I'm saying like I was like okay I'm. going go I was just trying to stretch. out right but whole time people just. like I got big off being me so I had to. tell you blow you that girl yeah so I'm. like okay I don't need to try to be. bigger than what I already am like. people like me for me the label let you. on yo got it and you got he's one of the.

biggest producers he does what he does. what did he tell I mean he's in your ear. he's telling you is he telling you not. to overthink it of course he be like got. it like when I be rapping on the ganga. [ __ ] like when I make a Ganga song or. some [ __ ] hard he be loving it right. like I ain't going to lie like even when. I make like songs like my liqu or some. song I be scared to let him hear. it me talk crazy on songs and [ __ ] so. yeah he be like you hard you just got to. record and he would like one thing about.

me I don't record a lot like if I don't. like a song I'mma scratch it like the. moment I write it and it's not good I'm. not going to record or nothing and so. like I could be in the studio for 10. hours write two songs not like them and. I won't record he just be telling me. like record them every song it might end. up being good and I don't think it's. good right you know what I'm saying. every song you make not just GNA be like. that but just do it you never know what. the song GNA do but could it possibly be. and he's trying to tell you like what. you thinking and then you put it like. you hear it back for yourself you're. like hey you know what that [ __ ] ain't.

as bad as I thought it was it's like. that a lot with me like even we yeah. glow like when I first accorded it it. was hard and so I guess I was listening. to it too much I was like should I. change this I don't know maybe they not. going to like this right like I start. thinking too hard I said you know what. let me stop listening to the song. because everybody was telling me the. song is so good so I just had to I be. overthinking so did you always want to. be a rapper so what when when you were. like say five six eight years old what. did you want to be should we pull up. another uh hey God damn all already so I.

guess I guess this don't W off go. ahead but um no I did you try to hit us. with the kid lar pull up drink sit down. drink head shot drink I'mma do yours. first you know what I'm saying okay but. um no I didn't always think I was going. to be a rapper I uh God it's how long. you think huh it's wine it's not a shot. you sipped it I ain't never had I have. this is my first time ever drinking wine. seriously. yeah well you going to like this you. gonna keep buying it every I put.

everybody on I hope. not no for it's not nasty or nothing. like it's juice yeah okay so this your. first time ever drinking wine first time. ever drinking wine I feel good about. that you feel good I got shann and Sh to. drink wine for the first time let's get. a round of applause for. that so what I do is take a do we toast. yeah grape juice.

yeah that's like that uh that Morgan. David we used to drink in church ex you. for communion yeah yeah. yeah that's what so can I call you goo. of course so is that what people call. you do they call you the full glow real. or did it just call you glow glow glow. yeah if we Cool Glow okay so we cool we. cool okay well let me take a little. shot woo I'm I'm feel some type of way. after this.

when you start to hear people say man. glow f l she a one hit wonder what's. going through your mind are you anxious. to get back into the studio and prove. them mo folks wrong or you just like it. is what it is you know it put me back in. the mindset it made me more hungry like. it put me back in the mindset. from it's the same pressure from when I. first blew up and I was trying to get. the hit that I had like when I got f it. put me back in that mode like when you. don't got it it's like your is like 100.

times right more stronger and so you. know often we don't we get comfortable. when we don't know we get comfortable. right and so like I felt good about. myself you know what I'm saying I didn't. made it I did this I did that and so. once the negative [ __ ] start coming back. in it put me right back in all right I'm. back in Grind Mode okay y'all thinking I. can't do this I did it the first time. why the [ __ ] y'all think I can't do it. again it one look you feel me like it's. Talent at the end of the day is it's God. it was God first being blessed and it's. the hard work like right you feel me why.

the [ __ ] would you think I could do it. again [ __ ] I'm going to do it just like. I did the first time the second time the. third time we going to do this [ __ ]. again so how do you block out the noise. I ain't talking to you I'm talking about. like people no I understand that no but. no no no no I understand but I'm saying. how do how do you block out the noise. you say you're not on internet but you. do hear I mean if you don't hear it you. got people around you you got your team. that hear it what they say and they come. back to Glow the thing with me is. criticism I like it like all my my. friends know when I talk to them I'm the.

most blunt person they ever meet like if. if if you my friend and [ __ ] and you got. a hole in your shirt or like you got an. outfit I'm like I'mma tell you I ain't. going to lie your outfit weak as hell. but you know whatever whatever I'm so. honest and so I be telling them I want. y'all to be dead honest with me like. don't tell me everything good I'mma feel. like you know what I'm saying right like. don't lie to me like tell me criticism. because when I go out in the public they. going to say it anyway right so it's. certain [ __ ] that I take from criticism. like when people be talking [ __ ] like oh. she did this is this it that okay I'm. going to take heed to that right and fix.

it how did God tell you to handle the. criticism man got to be like Beyonce to. the. [ __ ] he like don't worry about it. like he just don't be on it but you know. what people say that but that is harder. than it is because they ain't talking. about him they talking about you yeah. but like I said I like I mean I don't. sometimes like I said it will make you. feel some type of way at the end of the. day and then it's like confidence okay.

you saying that but that don't mean the. true all y'all saying this ain't good. that ain't good it don't mean it's true. right did you feel you blew up too fast. because you like here one day and the. next day you way up here so with it um I. ain't going to say it's too fast I feel. like everything is perfect timing okay. you feel me so it's. like I blew up fast so I didn't have the. time to make mistakes like everybody. like the normal artist that gradually. blow up they have chance to make. mistakes and it's not just the public I.

just not on them all the way but since I. went from zero to 100 it was like damn I. ain't got like the time to go in between. the 20s 40s 50s 60s and like make my. little mistakes without the whole world. just being on me so hard but even with. like all the pressure it really just. still make you a stronger person at the. end of the day when you have a hit how. much pressure is it on you when you have. a hit like that and you blow up to feel. that everything that you got to make. after that got to be at that level Des I. start overthinking it because my first.

three songs was BIG my first three songs. I ever dropped and so it was like when I. after I dropped my EP and it did good. too and I had sold out my first tour and. everything it was like okay I sold down. my first tour with the small rooms so. now I got to make bigger songs and get. the bigger rooms instead of I I want it. was yeah it was pressure just thinking I. got to go so big but you do realize glow. you can make great music and it might. not have the commercial. and I like to use Michael as an example.

like Thriller it drove him crazy because. every song that he made after Thriller. he thought it was going to be that. that's an anomaly that's a once in A-. lifetime thing same thing with me with. Cat Williams everybody's like man you. ain't going to never get another cat I. understand that but that doesn't mean. I'm not going to do a a quality. conversation so even if you don't have. the commercial success as the first two. or three that doesn't mean you're not. making great music right do you. understand that I understand now but. it's still hard though you still because. that high of making that music and the.

way you feel in in in in the city and is. buzzing Bo that oh she that yeah you. know what you are uhhuh you want to feel. that again there's nothing like that. initial High there's nothing like that. and you chase it right it's just like a. fiend that first High there's nothing. like it that first High you got when you. made that first one and Memphis was. buzzing and then that thing went to. Texas and it went to Georgia it went to. New York and the Cali mhm you crave it.

you can't you can't put it down right. that was a great example that was a. great analogy T you good. huh I ain't drinking no more I'm. drinking water now I'm I'm on water. hard. so do you is it harder now that you've. done it because you I mean like I'm a. this how I feel if I do something once I. can do it again right so do you feel. that same way do you feel like well hell.

I made a hit I made two hits I made. three hits hell why can't I make 4 5 6. 78 yeah like me um I'm I'm super big on. God and So like um like so my mama she. be like what can I do for you like cuz. you know I pay my mom bills I pay my. parents bills what can I do to help you. i' be like just pray for me like and. keep me in your prayers right and and I. just feel like that's going to always. long I got God on my side so you know. [ __ ] can seem slow at one. like they say he may not come you you.

want but he always be there so I just. feel like long as I'm staying prayed up. and I'm actually doing the work and I'm. actually speaking what I want into. existence and actually going for it it's. nothing that can stop me you do realize. is the prayers you didn't even know your. mom was praying they got you this far. exactly so how how hard is it when you. hear people I mean look people that you. don't know I mean it doesn't bother you. nearly as much as the criticism from.

someone you do know like like DJ. academics say some things uh Kat says. some things even you even blocked them. mm you did you unblock them yeah that. was a whole joke that was a joke that. was that was serious like and that's. another thing people don't understand. that I play too much and I don't. understand that people don't know me and. don't know that I play too much God they. don't know you glow exactly and I had to. realize that because all my people they. didn't even call me once they saw me. Charing they didn't even call me like oh. my God what's going on know I play like. this I just play too much right y just.

be playing oh so that's what that's what. you okay so I'm I'm I'm glad to hear. that you're playing but when you hear. LeBron James saying yeah glow and you. know who LeBron is I don't need hey off. without any further explanation when you. hear someone like that jaming rocking. out to yours how does that make you feel. I like that was a feel like that was a. high cuz like I was getting massage I. was out here right yeah so I was getting. a massage and I'm hearing my phone blow. up up on the little massage table I'm.

like uh whatever it is I'm going get. yeah they they they disturbing your. piece right now disturbing my piece but. they were doing it right so I looked at. my phone everybody call me like you know. LeBron just posted your song BL BL BL. I'm like what so I inst U go reposting. and stuff then I was talking to um I was. talking to Rick my manager he was like. uh I think you should go to the game I. said hell yeah I want to go to the game. they got a game tonight I'm going to. pull up to that joint I went straight to. Rod Drive got me some word me and my. friend we going to go to the game I'm. going to get over with LeBron cuz like. this one of the best not one of the best.

this is the best right player in the. league right now Kobe my favorite player. okay Kobe then Lebron after him okay and. so like that was something like know how. H LeBron is yeah but it say he ain't. know not one word but it didn't matter. words he did I didn't watch LeBron rap. songs and I know the words for real he. knew yeah Glo he probably ain't say like. certain words but that was good for him. cuz he don't be knowing Tong for Real. come on man exactly he knew more words. than usual when he was singing.

I feel like I feel crazy so when you. when someone like that someone of his. caliber like you he's universally. known um sings your. song obviously it brings attention so. what is those closest to you like Glo. you know Braun he be liking you like. that cuz he don't be he don't be he. don't be rapping everybody stuff it's. just the heavy weights right Dr or Ken.

Kendrick Lamar and. Glo like I said I didn't know how to. feel about that then like my brothers my. my whole family they big on Sports like. my dad and them are brothers and so it. felt like a family trophy to me cuz I'm. like cuz they love this [ __ ] like they. watch this [ __ ] all day and so all them. was like you got LeBron singing your. song and that F that was like that made. me happy because like I said I grew up. in a sports they love sports in my. househ right it's I like yeah [ __ ]. LeBron sing s what like what's up y so.

they couldn't tell you nothing huh they. could tell me [ __ ] like nobody could. tell me [ __ ] I got LeBron cos LeBron. don't cosign everybody he doesn't he so. and I got shinon sharp cosign to me too. yeah yeah you boy on you I'm on you I E. with you I E with you you feel me yeah. so let me ask you this when people like. myself that have platforms and other. people that have platforms like mine and. they're critical of of your song that's. like oh she's not this she's not that do. you believe they sway opinion to how. they should feel about you you talking.

about like when one person said like it. make everybody else say the same [ __ ]. yeah yeah I feel like this a a big thing. like I feel like if social media didn't. exist let's just let's just say Okay me. and Glo we having a conversation and. it's 200 okay with 1998 and there ain't. no social media could you have blown up. like you did I mean social media is like. blessing and a curse exactly like social. media helped out a lot lot but at the. same time like people are very Follow.

the Leader you I'm saying so it's like. if want on social media they can't see. nobody talking [ __ ] about it so they. just hear it on the radio and it's just. a song and it's not a bad song actually. like some people will only not like a. song because everybody else said it and. a song can be a good song I seen it in a. lot of cases like so if you just hear a. song on the radio and you don't got. social media for to see nobody else talk. [ __ ] about you just going to like the. song song just right it's a good song so. yeah I feel like people I follow the. lead when it come to sheet they are and.

then once and especially if somebody if. it can start traction if it gets. traction then everybody else like that. yeah that's some bull J you were just. rocking the song just five minutes ago. now some bull cuz you heard somebody. that has a platform say that with bull. exactly and if that same person another. person with a bigger platform say they. like it okay we G to go what they say. then we like it right they just happen. how was it how was it meeting LeBron in. person he's so nice and cool like I I. like I never I didn't never in my life. thought I was going to be LeBron James.

like but he's just so nice and cool and. tall as hell like I'm like damn like on. the picture I'm looking at him like this. like damn but he was just super cool. like I was like in the hallway waiting. to see him and [ __ ] and I ain't even. know he was coming he just bust out yeah. glow then walked up pH and [ __ ] he was. telling me he like I didn't even know. you was out here or none of that I was. like [ __ ] I didn't know you going to. post a video to my song [ __ ] but I. pulled up you feel me so he's just a. cool person I [ __ ] with him that's my. favorite basketball player so okay your. favorite Now give me your F your five.

your five favorite basketball players we. know LeBron is number one right now you. talking about right now or time all time. give me all give me your all time list. Kobe is forever number one k Kobe number. one Kobe number one um LeBron number two. okay I'mma. say um I was a big Dereck Rose fan when. he played for uh Memphis oh for okay. okay okay yeah yeah yeah yeah the Tigers. yes yes um I ain't going to lie I I used. to oh Steph car Steph car okay and um it.

was so crazy what I'm going to say but. Dwight how I used to love Dwight how for. the magic yeah I believe you shoot shots. like Ste Curry cuz you shot one from the. raap talking about hey hey who who who. in is this right here I don't I I don't. even care cuz he can't whip me so you he. said. whip what you. say I know what you say but I can't say. that I can't say that Glo I mean but you. shot with the most step courage shot. did it go in the have court shot yeah it.

go in you know at the end of the day the. day going in okay I will leave it at. that cuz he said no comment you said hey. at the end of the day the end of the day. at the end of the day the day going to. end it went. in let me ask you this who's your goat. who's your greatest basketball player in. Glow's mind Kobe I tell I'm a big Kobe. fan why why you why you like Kobe so. much what is it about Kobe. I was like I don't know I just like I.

watch I love watching him playing when I. was a kid growing up right I was a. Lakers fan all the way until Kobe stop. playing for him now I'm a Lakers fan. again though cuz LeBron there yep okay. bam said hey Bam like he didn't get no. picture with you at the allstar game you. at the allstar game uh you like. basketball like that yeah so what's your. favorite sport basketball or football. football well damn you ain't sure Play. No football games I went to the Super. Bowl where you at you said where I'm at. where were you at who weite were you in.

uh Live Nation site oh okay I REM I was. up there um I was actually to uh boxing. down from Taylor S really M you should. have went on down there say hey Hey. Taylor what's up got you a. pitch yeah I was I love football like I. I beted on that game like I had never. beted on nothing in my life what damn. yeah I had got that Mone you like so you. you like sports I love football oh do. you who's your favorite team I'm a. Steelers. fan oh Lord. y'all been on hard time lately you know.

I got beef with you really why you got. beef with me cuz you know why you know I. don't get along with you like that what. happened cuz you know who you play for. oh the Ravens yeah oh you would do that. thing to. y'all like that's my op D my Ops like I. but you know I [ __ ] with you okay I. appreciate. that yeah that's right you ain't did. nothing you I did I took I took a little. sip this is juice if you could take the. whole shot you. but you ain't supposed to mix though.

restaurant okay so what about 50-50. dating okay so the man pay for the whole. thing or you got half on it you running. half on a date yeah I ain't running. half now this we talking about dating. like going EA why would I split the. beill with you why would I do this would. you ever would you ever would you take. him out okay he like hey hey bro I got. you if it's my man if it's somebody I I. mess with yeah yeah it ain't no wrong. with that like if it's a date and we. still talk I'm not going to do that but. you wouldn't feel bad I'm I guess I'm.

oldfashioned cuz see like every time for. when I go out I got the bill I got this. no like if we cool like if we like go. together yeah you know it's okay to. sometime be like okay you know Bae it's. my tree tonight I'm going to do it like. it's okay to do that so let me ask you. this do you get concerned about guys. trying to trap you cuz cuz guys always. always wonder about you know especially. once you become somebody you always got. to worry about the pitfalls or you know. hey try to are you do you worry about. stuff like do you do do females that are.

like here like you are do they worry. about the same things like men worry. that are here how we can get trapped how. can girls get. trapped know. how I got I got a membership with that. play. damn I don't play like that you'll play. like that I don't play like that okay I. help. I don't know I got to I got to hey I got.

to shake this one off damn I you saw PSA. toxic behav you say women in the 20n. should display toxic behavior and level. up the illusion what do you mean by that. okay like I really like people just want. I'm saying people take me too serious I. be just playing you ain't on no Jasmine. Sullivan bull job are you what Jasmine. sull bust the windows out your. car um I mean I'm pretty sure everybody. went through some [ __ ] no ain't nobody. going through that glob everybody went. through no hell. no I don't know you never got your.

windows BST out I have exact but I'm. just saying but I didn't I didn't do I. ain't never done that to somebody I'm. saying as a female a lot of females been. through that situation like they been. too in love and they got they hard brok. that what y'all call that yeah that that. feelings be heard you can't hurt no. female feelings like females feelings is. stronger than men like like say for. instance like in the CH situation if you. go cheat you ain't going to in love with. b a female Go cheat they really well not.

me but regular females when they if they. going if they in love with you and they. go step out yeah they really it's. something about the [ __ ] they like for. real you might not like the B you just. [ __ ] just do that yeah that's what. y'all do but they know what y'all I. don't know no y'all you see they know. y'all but at the end of the day that's. what I'm saying like y'all feelings. don't be too deep into [ __ ] like females. do and so females be reacting out their. feelings sometimes most females I'm. going to say 80% of females have been.

through some [ __ ] like that where they. destroyed your property because they. feelings was hurt you ever had your. heart broker mhm one time and that's why. I am how I am today why I mean damn you. ain't really get nobody a second chance. cuz everybody I just feel like everybody. lik it cuz at the end like what you mean. to everybody like what I got I got six. brothers I got a lot of friends I got. best friends I got cousins and I see how. dudes act right and like all them got. the like it's a common denominator like. they they ain't. [ __ ] come on glow come on now I'm not.

going to let you sit up here and do this. that's what it is it ain't that ain't. nothing what it is a the hell. no now what if I go here talk about all. females a ain't B that's your opinion. you been through something that made you. feel like that no that's that's hold on. you can't judge everybody about because. you don't have a bad chapter in the book. the rest of the books might be good I. judge everybody about it but it's like. let me try you ain't met the right one. yet. that might be what it is but it's just.

like my perception like that one [ __ ]. you know how that one thing can change. your perception on everything H yeah I. had one time God had one time teach me a. Liston that might have just like you. know he was list he might not have been. right for you at that. moment everybody like y'all is something. that why you keep saying y'all you you. you you okay not you me just something. about y'all that just don't click like.

in my head I feel like every man gonna. cheat I don't feel like it's a man that. don't cheat on this Earth damn I. understand my heart feel like that what. about women you think they cheat they on. the up women be cheating too but for. sure men what you mean for sure it's. some men out there that don't do that. it's some men out there probably that. don't do that you just ain't met him yet. huh I ain't ran across nothing like that. cuz everybody I know that's a male where. like my friends and like I said my. brothers now my cousin that's I see them. do this [ __ ] that's how I am how I am.

because I was raised mostly around dud. right so I just know how so you adopted. that mentality so you got a dude. mentality that's right now you need to. lady lady out but that's the that's like. escaping reality though oh my good I. read you have some famous cousin L Uzi. and C are they your real cousin or they. the black people cousin um o and my. cousin and Carter my cousin real cousin. or black people cousin cuz you know hey. that my cousin and we ain't really. related at the end of the day the day.

going to end my. good look at up we got the same last. name me and. Uzi what that family tree you got to. look up the family tree I mean what I. mean I'm sure there's some white people. out there that got sharp as the last. name but I don't know I don't know we. you know I got to look at the Tiger. Woods too huh yeah Tiger Wood might be. my cousin too you just claiming people. left and right no because actually want. me to tell you a funny when I was young. when I was young my daddy used to tell.

me we was related to Tiger. Woods okay but he was just playing. though but we had the same last name and. so I really believe like Tiger Woods was. related to me my whole life well run. keep running with that store. I so how did you feel when cardi hopped. on tomorrow the remix uh it was cool. because cardi it was great actually. cardi was like one of the female rappers. that I love before I blew up and so. um and they looking got too man I cross. my legs like I'm [ __ ] no no that a't.

that no no no no that that little one. shot that ain't do nothing that ain't D. that ain't even do nothing to you I can. see if you had a couple of but you ain't. had but one you said TP I know what it. is but yeah cter um like I said they. really tried to hi it from me like. because I I was in the studio one day. and um I was playing this other song and. I was like hm I heard C on here and so I. dm' her because I didn't have a yet I DM. her I was like I got this song I want. you on blah J blah J and she was like um. girl I already did I just did one of.

your songs I'm like when where and so. she had sent me um she had screen. recorded and send sent it to me in a DM. like two different videos of her birse. I'm like up and so all like my whole. team was in the studio that day I said. so when would y'all going to tell me. Cari did song and I was just so happy I. was so geeked cuz when I heard it when. she sent it to me like I was like oh my. God this is so good right so yeah I was. geeked about that and as a token of your. appreciation you bought a PCH some band. Clea so is it PCH or Patty it's.

pronounced PCH okay so but but we say we. be saying it the same reason we say. Maybach I say may it's. Maybach okay so I me as your boy got it. you tell. you okay so it's van CLE so I mean you. you that type yeah I appreciate you A. Gift Giver mhm always have been uh no oh.

you just got like that you got some. bread huh um but I'm sure before you got. bread you do little things like see I'm. the type of person I'm not super. thoughtful so I I'm learning how to be. thoughtful now okay but um back in the. day like I didn't used to know what to. give people for Christmas under this. [ __ ] like I just cash up everybody yeah. see that I just you you GNA like some. money at the end of the day so here go. some money cuz I I can't put too much. it's too many people to think about I. ain't that thoughtful of a person but.

I'm learning how to do that yeah I got. better with it see that money you can't. go wrong with money for a gift M it's. the right color and it always fit. exactly see what I did. time time but there was a pastor that. was reciting one of your Bo your your. verses I you like hold on now hold on. did you did you like read like hold I. let me go back this ain't no way this. man this man in pull pit um you know. actually some Pastor did it before when. I first Dro tomorrow a pastor I think.

probably two pastors had quoted that in. that sermons and so um when I saw that. again and when he said yeah that's what. he me. tripping okay but I feel like it was. nothing wrong with it like he was. relaying the message he was trying to. relay but you know culturally that's my. song is pop right now so he mixed it in. but he didn't say nothing bad like if. it's going to get the congregation to. listen and to follow uhuh hold on your. actual real name is Gloria Hallelujah.

Woods. mhm my chain say. hallelujah I was looking at I'm like why. she got I mean you got big glow I mean. you ice the F out you ice over there a. little bet little old sub right here nah. you got the ice stop playing I mean you. got the the ice out. padic yeah. Peck Peck yeah I mean. how did your parents come up with that.

name so I got my uh Grandma Daddy side. name not the middle night but she died. before I was born so I never met her but. that's her name and you know my mama. never really explained to me where. Hallelujah came from she just I guess. she was feeling blessed and I was her. eighth child she said eight is a what. kind of number is eight eight some type. of number and cuz all my sister my mom. got 10 kids all the boys well okay so. the oldest three got their own Daddy and. then the rest of the seven we got the.

same daddi and so all my dadd yeah my. momma got 10. kids yeah I mean please tell me like one. of them like 50 and the other like they. can't be. doorstep it's like that it go from my. youngest brother is 21 and my oldest. brother is. 38. yeah but all they all my brothers like. they they got the same middle name and. all my sisters got the same middle name.

like all my brothers got my daddy middle. name which is car Michael all my sisters. middle name and Nicole I'm the only one. who middle name is. hallelujah yeah well you you you. different you special huh so you that. chosen one you that chosen one yeah so. what was it like growing up in a. household with 10 brothers and sisters. we used to be. jacking. y'all you know what jaing mean yeah. yeah yeah we be jacking that's what a. lot of people in one has going to do.

though no not necessarily GL I Ain going. to let you to let you talk about that's. like that's okay how many siblings you. got I only got I got a brother and a. sister it's three of us I'm the just. imagine it was a lot of us so we used to. get on each other ner right and pick on. each other and. fight but we love each other at the end. of the day though yeah 10 brothers and. sisters so what was a typical day like. for you cuz I okay you were homeschooled. until you were what the fifth grade. right and then one of I guess one of the. older sisters called.

CPS and then CPS intervened and your mom. had to enroll you guys in Traditional. School yeah so um the sister that's. right on top of me she was like you know. it's always a problem child yeah in. every uh child group and so yeah um we. used to get whooping like like every. child get whooping but my sister didn't. like getting whooping so she uh used to. call uh DCS on my mama and she was like. they beating my momma used to beat on us. and there we weren learning nothing in. home school and all this stuff and so my.

mama had to put us in school after that. so like they it was like she was forced. cuz she didn't want us I think like my. mama didn't want us to know like like my. momma is super Sanctified and she always. say it's certain stuff that's of the. world she used to say she didn't want us. to be of the world like she didn't want. to expose us to all the the outside. world and so she only place we went was. home and church we didn't go nowhere and. so um yeah by the time I got school I. was 10 I was in fifth grade you was glad.

to go to school I was happy to go to. school because we stayed seven houses. down from the school and so every day. after school we seeing the kids come. down uh man playing and they be playing. in school and yeah looking like they got. friends like they having fun and I'm I. used to like every time at 2:15 I used. to look out the window at the kids. walking home from school and they just. used to be so happy having fun so I used. to want to go to school so bad I was so. happy when we finally had to go to. school like so what was the relationship. like your relationship like with your.

mother you said 10 kids it's hard it's. hard to divy up attention and affection. for 10 kids now that's a lot mm it's. just like um so I'm the third youngest. so I'm number eight out of 10 kids yeah. but I never was treated like I was a. young child like once my oldest sister. was um grown and left the house my mama. had me like the child that was next to. her like I used to have to put all my. mom receipts together so so keep keep up. with her money I used to have to. remember all her passwords to her stuff.

so I never was treated like my mama. never handicapped me like she never I. never was in a group with the young kids. so like she always had me by her so like. I was always more advanced than. everybody right because she always had. me like her assistant a little right. help me understand um your mom was like. Pagan what's P like there's two forms. there's one that doesn't believe in. religion like they don't go to church. they don't go to Mall that don't go to. synagogues and then there's one that. believe that there are there are many.

gods now my mom need one of them my mom. just believe in God and um she she. believed in God and she don't believe in. holidays like she don't believe in. Christmas she don't believe in Halloween. like we didn't celebrate a lot of. holidays coming up well do she believe. like like. nature like is in what it's like. like polytheism which is many um so I'm. trying to get a sense of like your mom. if you didn't go you didn't go to church. you didn't go to synagogues I went to.

church you went to church yeah so you. grew up in the church I grew up in the. church I'm confused what you confused to. that oh there's that there's that. you there there there's that you that. you okay so you grow up in the church uh. that's a lot of people to haul the. church y'all have a bus what you have a. little mini bus a sprinter van my dad uh. I remember this white van my dad always. had we had to ride because it was 10 of. us and then when the oldest three got.

grown and left we used to be in this. like uh Kia. sedon that's still a lot of people. that's n that's nine people like we was. also little like we all little like me. all my dadd kids little like this so we. used to like share seats with each other. so we all matter of fact my dad had a um. a Ford. Mercury and all seven of us used to fit. in that one back seat my mom was in the. front of SE my dad was in the seven. seven kids we used all B ain't got that. much room now I swear to God was a full. Mercury I never forget it's a great full. Mercury my daddy had got and we all.

seven of us used to be in that backseat. grew up in the church did you see were. you in the. choir so you grew up in the church and I. I read that Kurt Franklin and Donnie. McClarin and some of those were like. your favorite that's what you guys. listen to right you lenda Adams. yeah so growing up in the church singing. in the choir did being a gospel singer. ever cross your mind that's what I. thought I was going to be well my momma. used to make me feel like I was going to. be a big gospel singer right because. when we was young I used to sing in a.

choir and then like my mama was a CNA. okay and so like she used to always work. in she always worked in nursing homes my. whole life and so um she used to have us. like every it'll be once a week we have. to go to the nursing homes and sing to. the older people okay and I used to get. all the solos cuz I really could sing. and yeah I used to think I was going to. be a Gospel sing and then I I couldn't. sing no more out of. nowhere what happened I don't know I I. think it's because I start smoking. weed but I don't know I probably just.

never could sing and I grew up and. realized it I don't know what it was. back in the day I could sing and I just. couldn't do it no more okay tell me this. went to church three times a week and. you a member of the worship team what's. what's a worship team I understand like. a dance team or you know so what's a. worship team in church I said a worship. team before yeah so what was your what. was your role other than in the choir. what was what was your. role um in church yeah Were You Usher. now my mama was a us I ain't do nothing. but I was on the dance team in church.

you got Dan called lurgical it was. called lurgical it's called lurgical. dancing in church you know when the. girls had own the long white dresses. they be covered all the way up and they. just be doing a little dancing I used to. do that not before I had love I was. that's always been in church though no. not like. that not like that but uh yeah it's like. gos it's like it's called lurgical. dancing so let me ask you a question um. you say your mom didn't believe it like. Christmas and and and Thanksgiving and.

no Thanksgiving we did Thanksgiving you. did okay so no Christmas no Christmas no. Easter no Easter no no Valentine no. Valentine Halloween no. Halloween St Patrick's. Day I mean she never cared about the. holiday like is that a holiday everybody. really be cing. about they be getting tow up cuz they be. pinching you you don't got no green yeah. dude well it's not it's a big Irish. holiday yeah that's what I'm saying like. it's not n you just celebrate like how.

Christmas and Thanksgiving is so how. were you when you got your first gift. because if you didn't celebrate what. about birthdays oh yeah birthdays so you. got gifts for birthdays it was really. basically it was Christmas and Easter. because my mama say those are pagan. holidays so she was like Christmas is. it's somewhere in the Bible like my mom. know the Bible from top to bottom and. somewhere in there where Christmas like. Jesus W born on December 25th it's a. it's May. right and it's something the people just. made up to talk about Jesus and.

Resurrection Day that's not the day he. gotes on in real life but it's just some. those holidays are manmade okay and it's. some it's against the Bible against it. somehow somewhere it's pagan holiday. okay yeah so we need celebrate them so. help me understand this. how did your mom. dad feed 10 kids they got to have some. good jobs cuz you know kids eat a lot. well we used to get um food stamps you. know the food stamps good you got 10.

kids hell. yeah so do they did had they had the the. carard or did y'all have the books $65. books you know they had books back in by. the time I knew what food stamps was we. was using the card okay but before then. like it's something called a commodity. house that was in Memphis I don't know I. think it was in North Memphis something. like that it was a commodity house. though and they used to go there and get. like these blocks of cheese yeah yeah. yeah yeah you they make the best s what. you don't it they make rice and cheese. with the. be but you know you had that knife you. had to get up on that.

yeah and it break off it never came off. straight down exactly so they used to. get like that and um I just remember. always going to the commod has for like. simac stuff like that like all the. groceries we got from there and I don't. really don't know cuz I stayed in the. same house from when I was born until I. was 15 years old right I stay in that. same ha how many people slept in the bed. how many sisters how many people slept. in the bed cuz this all four was slept. okay I never had a real bed in my whole. life until okay so from when I was born.

until I was 15 I had never slept in a. real bed like we I thought everybody. slept on ear mches I never knew people. had real beds so like when growing up it. was a lot of us the girls had one room. the boys had one room where my two. oldest Brothers they used to sleep in. like the attic upstairs damn so they had. their own room it wasn't the attic it. was like a room across from the attic. yeah but and so the boys had one room. and the girls had one room and we all. slept on one queen size. mat and yeah I was like that my whole. life and I never knew like I used to.

think my mom was being mean to us cuz. she used to let people come over our. house and stuff cuz you know I grew up. we had red and Roes and blah J blah J. and I used to be like when I used to go. to school and the kids be talking about. yeah we going to go over what's name. house what's name house I used be like. dang can't nobody come over my house but. I just thought my mom was being mean. whole time I would have been embarrassed. cuz they would have been like you don't. got no bed you sleep on the air mattress. your back should be messed up sleeping. on the floor yeah and we used to sleep. on cles too like cuz you know one little. thing can put a hole in the a mattress.

and like my dad used to always go get. the patches for the a mattress and you. glue it on there and patch the hole up. on the a mattress and until they got the. money to go buy the patches we'll sleep. on the floor into the air mattress got. back patched up M and when I turned 15 I. moved to my dadd and my dad was staying. in the hotel and that was the first bed. I ever SLE in in my whole life so was. your mom strict my mom she was super. strict like we used to have to sneak out. the house cuz she ain't let us she my. momma she didn't want us exposed to the. real right but when we got in school we.

was automatically exposed to the real. like we around all these other kids yeah. that's doing sneaky yeah and so as kids. you want to do what other kids doing. yeah we sneak out the house it's easy to. sneak out cuz you got 10 it's hard to. keep eye on all 10 of them well by the. time I started sneaking out the house. the oldest three was gone okay so that's. still seven that's a lot to keep eye on. and so yeah we used to be like sneaking. out and my mom used to go to work. overnight like 11: or 7 right yeah so. you went you grew up in the church so.

when did you like did you ever was there. ever time that you like do you still go. to church no I don't go to church now so. how were you when you kind of like. stopped going I mean because I read that. you went like three four times a week. and then probably went down to like one. to two times a week and then probably no. times a week it probably like when I. turned like 13 I had we had stopped. going to church it was we or you the. whole if my mom went to church I was. going to church okay so why she stopped. I don't know I guess um cuz we used to.

change Church churches a lot and so I. don't know I guess she she wasn't with. the church no more right but she she'll. still have bab studed with us at home. right but yeah we had stopped I stopped. going to church at like 12 or 13 right. okay you got a job you working at. Checkers right M so what what was that. experience so so what made you decide to. get a job you like you know what I need. me some money I'm tired of this you know. waiting on my parents to hand me some. money I'm going to go get me a job at. Checkers why checkers because like I. used to um clearly you ain't eat none of.

them Burgers I used to eat them all the. time till I got tired on when you work. somewhere you start hating food cuz you. eat it every day right but um it was. just like I was in 11th grade well it. was the summer after 11th grade so right. before I got into my senior year that. somebody here got a job and I was just. tired of not being able to cuz I never. had no JS or nothing in school and I'm. like I'm tired of not being able to wear. the shoes like I got to wear the ugly. ass shoes to my dad about me because my. dad ain't just got it like that to buy. Jay's for kids or like five kids like. cuz Jay's be high as hell hell yeah and.

so like I'm like damn okay I'm just. going to go make my own money and [ __ ]. and so the summer before before my last. year in high school I had start working. there and I worked there my whole 12th. grade year and like two years after that. right uh but you was on the. internet what you mean you thought you. were at work you you was at work but you. on the internet cuz you know we'll get. slow you know fast food restaurants we. not have no customers I'm going to get. on my phone. how you how you at work and on your. phone it's easy to do that I.

know it's easy so so what did your. supervisor say what did the manager say. they used to be on their phone. too they used to be on their phone. too so is there any other what other. jobs you had you worked at Checkers so. what any other fast food restaurants you. worked at any other jobs that you had. before you blew up yeah I ain't going to. lie I used to work a lot because like I. I didn't know what I wanted to be like I. ain't never want to sell no clothes or. nothing like that so I just had to work.

jobs right because like I tried to uh I. tried to like sell weed before but it. didn't work out why it didn't work out. what somebody the Jack you took your. weed no it was just like it want no. money what you mean it ain't no money I. just feel like if you ain't got pounds. of weed to say it ain't no money like I. used to like I was starting little like. I used to Nick dime yeah like I used to. work at Nike like Nike was my first job. after chickers okay and so I used to be. there like you know everybody want weed. on break and my brother used to have.

weed but my brother ain't used to have. no pound so I'm at work trying to sell. the [ __ ] this [ __ ] just ain't no money. cuz at the end of the day I got to go. buy it spend the same money and buy it. again so I'm like what money coming out. this I'm just doing it legal [ __ ] for no. reason so I just stopped I'm like you. supposed to break it down you know what. I'm saying if you buy it for this you. got to sell it for that to make. money no cuz it's like then the weed I. said it was just the best weed you. Memphis don't be having good weed oh. okay yeah and so like everybody and then. Memphis people cheap like at one point.

it was $20 for a gr and then it's just. like out of nowhere ground was. $10 yeah and so like everybody like I. ain't paying over $10 for no ground what. you on 15 uhuh you texing that's too. high extra5 so I just said this ain't. what I do right I said [ __ ] this [ __ ] so. I just I just work jobs my whole life. right and. then yeah I can't say the other [ __ ]. yeah I know you you cuz you already told. me you was on some jack move. stuff you said that ear don't think I.

forgot what you. said yeah so it was like I had St. working two years before I blew up. because it was at one point in Memphis I. had got known because me and my friends. we had I had been rapping I I wasn't. just known like that but they just knew. me a tabby like maybe a few people me. and my friends all made the song that. went it got big in Memphis so it was. like everybody knew us in Memphis like. we was Memphis known and so I ain't want. to just go to work no more and people. see me like I don't want y'all to like.

have access to me and I used to kind of. be in tour with people all the time too. you huh yeah you at work you can't do. nothing to nobody you see them at work. so you know what I'm saying so like I. ain't want to work no more I'm like uhuh. cuz I I had got to a point where I used. to be in to people I'm like man you at. work [ __ ] call somebody up there. while y'all getting off like hold on so. you get into it you so was it people. would that work with you or people that. would come into the store. no I worked after that one job I never. worked at a job like that again I was.

always Memphis got a lot of like. workhouses okay like that's big in. Memphis like everybody work at Tim. services and warehouse jobs in Memphis. and I had a lot of warehouse jobs when I. working there and you know you bound to. see anybody in there right cuz everybody. worked there like Amazon Nike fed that's. them jobs big in Memphis and so yeah I. just I used to be in t with people and. [ __ ] and so like why you got in t it. with people though Glo cuz [ __ ] be. hating no no you got not. what what did you ever hate I ain't. never hated on.

nobody for. real I tell people a lot of times as a. kid growing up work a lot of jobs. because it'll let you know what you. don't want to do when you get older. exactly you had a lot of jobs you worked. at fast food you worked at selling. sneakers you worked in. warehouses when did the book when did. you like and you said you had uh you and. your friends you had you know you rapped. it was big in Memphis so when did the. rap bite you and you says okay I found. my calling I start rapping right when I.

the year after I got out of high school. I was playing with it in high school and. when people was telling me I should take. it serious the whole time I was working. I was rapping I was just like I was. basically going to work to form my rap. career like right I I got to go to work. let me see I'm make um you know we get. paid every week so when I was working in. workhouse it was like $10 an hour so my. check probably like 400 something every. week all right I could put 200 the. videos are cheap all right I could put. 200 S for the video I a have no bills I. was still staying with my daddy so I was. just putting all my money into making.

videos you know what I'm saying of. course when I first was start my videos. W doing nothing but I was still doing. them like right constant going up so. basically yeah when I worked I was. paying bills once I start living on my. own and just funded my rap career right. so let me ask you go back when you were. at Checker did you have any did you ever. get into it with the customers you had. any crazy customer St oh. Lord you ain't throw no drink on nobody. you ain't throw no food nothing like. that I just used to talk [ __ ] if they. talk [ __ ] to me I'm going talk [ __ ] back. I mean okay they say okay what if you.

got the order wrong what if it's your. fault I ain't never used to do that I. was like a vet like I could probably if. I was to go to a fast food restaurant a. restaurant and work there today I would. have it down pack like I knew the menu. like without having to click the screen. I knew the menu I knew how much to tell. them like if they come and say I want. the number seven [ __ ] chicken sandwich. all right 731 that's the price it was. back then right 731 oh add a sweet tea. that's like A110 I added it up in my. head and before I even go ring it up I. knew it like I never messed nothing up. because I just I worked there for like 3.

4 years and I just and you knew all the. prices so back back of your hand yeah. but you didn't like the fact that. somebody come in there and get smart. with you huh yeah like they just used to. be kind of. slow like people you would never. appreciate fast food workers until you. didn't worked in the fast food fast food. restaurant because it take a lot of. patience to work there because people. come there uh then like you on the timer. oh yeah yeah so okay you you hate when. they like look at the menu while you. back behind two or three people and. don't wait till you get up there talk. about uh let me get a number four yeah.

like no pickle no onion. um onion ring yeah and it like as a. cashier you got a time like you can't. like once that time go up to high you. going to get in trouble like cuz it's. like probably was 12 15 czecho. restaurants in Memphis yeah and you know. we used to rank off which ones had the. best time the most Co so as a cashier we. got to move the cars like we on the to. and so they get back there acting slow. um so what come on the um hamburger.

[ __ ] what you think come on the. hamburger like right there look you. don't think that's a little aggressive I. mean I used to say that but in my head. that's why I used to be thinking and so. like that just get back there taking all. day and you know sometimes as a cashier. we be like okay anything else and. they'll take that offense of like hold. on let me let me look and so they'll. just get to talk and [ __ ] and talking. small and then that set you off yeah or. they'll say something like I got this. Creon and it's too like they should say. 2017 and it's 2019 [ __ ] you can't use.

this and they get some let me talk to. your manager I'm said she going to tell. you the same thing and they just catch. out [ __ ] BL BL BL I catch you outside. of work like what people in driveth. throughs be talking crazy that's why I. said I never work another fast food job. after them right okay so now you you. starting to struggle you got your car. repossessed you sleeping on your. friend's couch and they they about to. get evicted or they got evicted so now. what's the L's point that you say damn I. got to make something happen it's so. crazy I was probably in my lowest right. before I blew up like right before I.

blew up like the I'mma say the seven. months before I blew up I was at my. lowest so I always was out all my. friends I always had my own apartment I. always had my own car and it was just. like I'mma say 2020 2021 was a bad year. once like after my birthday and it was. it was just like everything went. downhill and [ __ ] but whole time I'm. still having faith I'm like okay like I. was I have zero dollars my manager she. he still with me his name mark and so. like I have Zer I'll be like I ain't. going to lie Mark let me like let me.

borrow $400 real quick so I can shoot. this video and I promise when I blow up. I got you like I used to I got text. messages my phone and I used to always. tell him that and like I just have. nothing and still want to go shoot a. video or want to go to the studio and. [ __ ] and so um yeah it had got to a. point I had never saved one of my. friends I always had my own [ __ ] and so. that was like a pride thing because I. never had to ask nobody to live with. them and so I start staying my PR and. gloss right she was going through [ __ ]. at the same time she pregnant with her. second baby at this time so like she. going through [ __ ] too she got to go. stay with another [ __ ] and so. I'm like damn where the [ __ ] I'm going.

to go so it was at a point I was like I. could have stay with my momma but I. didn't want to stay with my momma yeah. you grown now you like I like my mama. one them like she still stre like how I. was when I was seven yeah yeah don't. come in my house past 11:00 I can't stay. with you cuz I know I'm come your. house so I couldn't stay with my mom and. my daddy my daddy just had like a swamp. pass at the time like it just some where. you don't want to live right as a girl. anyway and so like it was at a time like. I just be out all day because I didn't. have nowhere to go like I just go to. everybody house cuz I don't got nowhere. to go and then after I just swallowed my.

pride and I just started living with my. friend teas cuz I just never used to. want to ask nobody to stay with them cuz. I always was the one everybody came to. to ask for [ __ ] so imagine you always. ask me for [ __ ] then I just got to come. back and ask you like it just bit my. like my pride yeah and then it was just. right after that I had blew up though. yeah I mean you got your car repossessed. and yeah why didn't you give up because. there there were times that I mean I'm. probably sure that you felt like you're. like damn I ain't got no really no place. to stay I don't lost my car I ain't got. no money in my account yeah what kept.

you. going because my music will still be. going viral on like like when I post my. music it'll still be doing good and. people you making money off that I would. making money off so what the hell viral. got to do they got no money in your. pocket I was like I it's getting. somewhere okay they knowing me you know. what I'm saying I'm not making no money. like I was I pay to go get on the show. like if somebody going to come to the. city like um a big artist or artist. that's kind of good I'll pay to get on. the show to perform you paying them to. get on they. yeah is that normal but if you upcoming.

artist and you want to be known like you. got to pay for this [ __ ] like you ain't. just going to don't nobody know who you. is ain't nobody just going to pay you to. get on no show they don't know who you. is right so like yeah you got as a. upcoming artist you got to pay to do. this [ __ ] right like and. so um yeah my car had got reposition. like probably two weeks I had made the. song fnf already right and I had pay my. like call like 3 months I like [ __ ] this. [ __ ] and so um so how you H it out cuz. you know they coming to get it three. months they coming to get it I used to. park behind my friend car oh okay so.

they couldn't so they they couldn't get. it they couldn't get. it I used to parking behind my friend. car but you know what it was that whole. time though I had just like the 2021. year was the year I had that one. heartbreak I told you about I was going. through it at the same time so it was. like everything was downhill that year. and so um but my music my music was. doing good but I was getting paid off. for it so it ain't like my music doing. good but I still ain't got no money but. so I had went on this I said okay I'm go. on the 6 day fast cuz something got to.

change me and my friend my sister te. when 2022 kind we had say we sat down we. was in her living room and I we like. something got to change this like we got. to do something different that we've. been doing from all these other years. and so we were like all right we got a. no [ __ ] no liquor we ain't going out. damn none of that yeah so we were like. we going to do this and and see what. they help out like cuz we we constantly. like in the same predicament something. it got to change to stop the repeate so. I stopped talking to all the [ __ ] and.

[ __ ] I I stopped the I stopped drinking. cuz I had got on this [ __ ] real bad. right like I had got on this [ __ ] real. bad and like I had just I was on to B. and um I W going. out and we had start doing [ __ ] we a. have no business doing to get some money. oh there you. go I so crazy I blew up right after this. though so like that 60 days we had. started and. March so like we got the rest of the. [ __ ] out of our system for the rest.

of January February March came around we. said all right so by May the 1st some. [ __ ] needs to been a changeed my my. friend quit her job cuz she was working. as a security guard in Nike and. Sh that's when I blew up after them six0. days cuz I made the song April 21st and. the song came out April 29th which mean. by May the 1st that was the SE the. days the song blew up how did it blow up. so big did somebody big rep post it I. mean how did it get traction and just. take off like it. did um so I used to make uh Trill all.

the time so like that's what upcoming. artists do for Memphis for sure we do a. song then like make a thriller to it. like a kind of like a Tik Tok okay and I. posted it and it just was start going up. like people like we like the song and I. had songs before that that did that too. like that's why I said like the whole. that whole year my attraction was. building slowly in the City and. surrounding areas and so um the first. person that had re posted the song was. um damn who was the first person [ __ ] oh.

damn I can't know it was a DJ why I. can't think of her name right now I'm. out there taylorp it was a DJ uh French. Montana DJ what's her name first monana. dj9 the. girl Duffy DJ Duffy okay I couldn't. think of cuz I'm DJ Duffy the first one. there she made a video to it and then. everybody else it just start going crazy. everywhere and it blew up. I mean but you see cardi B sweetie Lotto. they co-de they like okay you that so.

how does that make you feel when artist. that's already on and everybody knows. who they. are give you that Hall Pass and say you. you next you feel super good because. these people I listen to and like I. watched card hole come up like when she. first blew up I went back and watched. her own Love and Hip Hop and listen to. her old music and [ __ ] and I just I. liked her story and so it's just you. know once you once these people you. watch say something good about you it. just make you feel good damn I okay I.

like you I look up to you you know what. I'm saying but you know sometimes it's. hard for women to support other women. sometimes it's hard for black to support. other. blacks why is that I mean CU I mean. there no they make it seem like if I. support you if I say something good. about you that's going to impact my. money like there ain't enough money out. there I mean once I saw the pandemic and. I saw America the government start. printing money I like sh man I'm good. they'll never run out of money so I. ain't well I've never interfered with. anybody else trying to make they paper. but I mean I ain't never been like that.

why why is it like that why do why is it. so hard for women to support other women. and our community to support our own. Community I just feel like women are. naturally competitive [ __ ] we all. competitive women I think we like more. competitive really yeah I don't think. it'd be like such a hate thing I just. feel like you know women are competitive. M uh n uh mention you yeah I mean you. got I mean you got them you got them. heavy weights I said the glow that it.

you know I brag difference you feel. me so it's a Memphis thing huh mhm yeah. so so how did you get did label start. reaching out when they so how did how. did this now all of a sudden how did. glorilla. TI in so um after my song was going. viral uh all the labels was calling me. like I had a label me when almost every. label. that's a labor so it was like I was in. college back to back to back I was going.

to label me not to label me not to label. me and Sh when I had finally went with. my decision and [ __ ] you know in the. midst of that everybody was like seeing. me blow up and everybody was just. showing. love what was it about. Gotti um it was so crazy I be tell I be. telling them this like I actually was. scared to me got it like I was scared. cuz it's really every Memphis person. dream is to like well upcoming rapper. they want to sign a got it right like. got it see G like the biggest label in. Memphis and so um I was just going to.

all the label means you know I didn't. feel like none of them really believed. in me like they was thinking I was a. moment like when I was talking to. everybody like they was coming off as I. was a moment like they'll be like uh. okay let's hear your other music and. they just one I was playing tomorrow I. was playing every song you know what I'm. saying for them and they. just they worried about fnf and fnf was. like the producer song right at the time. and so like it's like they couldn't do. nothing off that song and so when I talk. to God he was like um I don't even want.

to talk about if and if I want to hear. your other music what else you got like. I don't even that that's cool that's big. but let me hear what else you got nobody. had nobody in the me was just too much. current about it like they was everybody. folus was this song because they saw how. fast it was moving up and yeah then like. a lot of them like they w Really they. always W talk about nothing and like I. said I could just. tell I would have just been moved to the. side if it was up to them right but um. yeah when I talk to God he just it's. like he just. had bigger a bigger Vision right so you.

on a yacht now you get with got you on. the private jet you signed the contract. at that moment What's going through your. mind so I had uh sign got it before that. okay yeah and so um when I had first. sign and [ __ ] like I ain't going to lie. I was having [ __ ] like I a want to tell. nobody cuz I know my friends gonna be. too excited and go telling everybody and. [ __ ] right but um you know I got my. sister I tell my sister everything teas. and [ __ ] and we just talking about it. and teas a Big Ass Fan of gu like teas.

like a got it fan so like we just. talking about it and like I was talking. to her about all the politics I was. talking to my manager about it and I was. just excited about it like I don't know. I don't know if I show him I was excited. about it but I was just you trying to. hold it in you didn't want to to ex I. was too excited about it and [ __ ] so get. thing just end up being everything so. when you got the check what was one of. the first things you. bought um I had got my te done oh you. hey yeah I Hadar some Choppers in my. mouth huh I hear some Choppers in.

myou my real teeth is like baby shark. and so I got my V oh you have some shark. teeth I had some baby shark teeth oh bad. M oh you got them thing look at that. look at that the ply white. now was that did you always cuz like I. always remember like when I was growing. up I always said if I ever got some. money the first thing I'm doing I'm. going to the dentist yeah I'm going to. get the thing cuz I'm me I'm people face. too much exactly like well your teeth is. a big part of you never going to call me.

cavity. creep oh no so I'm I'm talking about I. talk about people and you know how you. going to talk about people and you got a. rag iny mouth cuz that's the first you. talking people see your mouth so I'm. like I got to get that thing done like. your teeth is like probably the biggest. part of your appearance yeah especially. when you got that smile and you know how. people smile sometime in they CL I. already know you SM smiling start like I. used to like talk with my mouth closes. see like I still kind of I'm I I'm just. now getting out of it because I got. pretty teeth now but like I used to talk.

my mouth closed like I used to be like. yeah like I don't want people to see my. teeth so what is it like so obviously he. got a money bag uh yo and ESG 42 so what. is it what what's so special what is it. about Gotti that you like you know you. made the right decision but what is it. about. him what you mean. about me signing no no what makes him. special I don't know like go like he he.

like he from Memphis so he you know yeah. he get it you feel me and so like I. don't feel like if I would have just. like signed to other people they would. like understand like where I be coming. from a lot like even in the studio got. to be understanding me and where I be. coming from like cuz you know people be. failing to understand me a lot of times. right you know what I'm saying and so um. he smart he's super smart he a business. man right. you go hard though do they ever say like. you got to pull back on this now like.

what you mean you go hard you know me I. mean look at your songs I mean you got F. and F and the way you and the way you go. about it I mean there's something about. There's Something About Memphis you. talking about go hard like what type of. go hard on your songs you talking about. like a good thing or bad good thing it's. a good thing he always tell me I'll be. hard uh here's a good thing I thought. you saying like like go hard like going. to ham doing some [ __ ] you ain't got no. be to do no no no no no but I mean. obviously I mean what you're doing is. working yeah so I mean why why would you.

train what's working that's why I said. he know the memph sound so that's why. that's another reason I was glad I'm. glad that I work with him cuz he know. the sound right and so I to he be like. like when I make a song a song can be. this way got it going to go change like. the whole sequence of the [ __ ] and make. it the song that it is type [ __ ] like. right he be like really he be really. producing this [ __ ] right so did you get. okay you got your tee done you ain't GNA. get a whip I had got a whip last year.

cuz I'm not a driver you can't drive you. ain't got no license Drive I got a. license still I got my license when I. was 18 but I just don't like driving so. you like you like being dribble exactly. so you hop in the passenger seat like it. ain't nothing quick I hop in the back. seat like it ain't [ __ ] I hop in the. trunk before IOP in the drive seat like. I hate driving like well then why you. got a car you ain't going to do no. driving I ain't going to be calling. Ubers all day this [ __ ] high but you. ain't driving so why you care because. somebody else my brother going to drive. for. me and the cars be C buty.

[ __ ] they be cute huh so you get a car. based on the cuteness of it you ain't. behind the wheel so they don't know I do. be behind the wheel sometimes though cuz. I don't be having people to drive me. sometimes and I'll be behind the wheel. did you did when you came into it and. you got some money did it was it a. situation where people all of a sudden. come out the woodwor that hey hey G. break your break break your girl off. break your boy off yeah that was bad but. I shut this [ __ ] down quick like people. know like I'm people last option now. that come ask for [ __ ] see don't come.

asking me for [ __ ] just cuz you know I. got it like and I make sure people know. that like my mom and my daddy they [ __ ]. straight everybody else cuz I [ __ ] with. people anyway right like I randomly just. you need this I just [ __ ] with people. anyway so just because you know I got it. cuz at the end of day I got bills to pay. too I don't only pay my bills I pay. other [ __ ] Bill too so right. you know what I'm saying so people know. not to come to me asking me for [ __ ] you. do realize once you say no it gets. easier to say no MM like I'm blunt even.

when I do like if it's like down if it's. crunch time and they come to me I ain't. never going to leave them high and Dr. I'm going to do it but you going to get. that 15 hour speech about it why you. bullshitting and why you got to get your. [ __ ] together I'm I'm going to lay this. whole [ __ ] down let me tell you. something you doing this and that's why. you [ __ ] up so cuz you shouldn't have. to ask me for this when you got this. [ __ ] right here like I'm going give a. whole speech about it oh you you you. putting on blast like that I'm give I'm. going give a whole speech about it but. I'mma I'mma help you but if I feel like. you like bullsh and I'm going to tell. you you you um I me you mentioned that.

you are DM cardi B and you DM Beyonce I. mean you were you nervous when you DM. CBS um I'm not nervous about DM Beyonce. because I be talking to myself Beyonce D. I don't even think she' be on Instagram. for real but I'm just like a big Beyonce. fan so like yeah I'm delusional about. Beyonce but um no when I dm' cardi B she. had already dm' me first was like. telling me she proud of me and stuff. like that when I H first blew up so how. how did that make you feel like I feel.

good cuz I love cardi right M you kind. of remind me of cardi with the y'all. swag y'all swag similar oh we H. [ __ ] I if you could collab with. anybody give me like five people you. like to collab with five people did I. want to collab with that I haven't. collab with okay number one Beyonce okay. number two would. be. [Music]. uh hold on let me think [ __ ] okay we got.

Beyonce I Drake and lne I love them um. you going heavy ways you got them heavy. heads. F. and. CH okay yeah what what is it about their. sound what is it about them take take. the the the name recognition of a side. put that to the side we know who and. what they represent what is it about. their.

style um I I like it all them is artists. like Beyonce I grew up on Beyonce she. forever going to be my favorite artist. of all time um L Wayne and Drake they. just like lyrical Beast right um I love. they swag and their approach to to songs. and how they come on the beats and [ __ ]. um Chief ke just was young and turn like. he was the first young turn rapper I. ever knew about like he was just well he. was the first that I knew about but I. just L his swag with it like he didn't. give a [ __ ] like he may being.

a grunchy a grunchy ass [ __ ] from the. hood that didn't give a [ __ ] cool you. know what I'm saying he started the. whole way and uh he was just like I said. he was turn and didn't give a [ __ ] right. um who else I say fer fer just a. goat so give give I tell you okay give. me give me your M Rushmore you only get. four give me your M Rushmore rappers you. can go back for far as you want to go or. you can go right now give me your four. best rappers of all time okay so I'm.

only 24 So like um I can't say rappers. there were before me because I don't. know their music you feel so um I'mma. say Lil Wayne I feel like L Wayne one of. the best rappers in the whole world you. talking about rappers yeah okay rappers. Le. L. Drake you going Drake or you just say. that under your. breath cuz I mean you just sound. convinced I mean you you blur it out. Weezy let me let me make sure hold on. Lil Wayne Chief.

Keith oh cuz you know I'm trying to make. sure this the right lineup so favorite. or who I think the best cuz my favorite. I don't think the best okay that's okay. that we going the best we going we going. the best not my favorite we going Mount. Rushmore okay so we going who I think. the best and not my favorite who I like. yeah okay I'm going say l. Drake um.

Eminem and. JZ yeah damn you got some heavy weights. on though yeah God. damn so let me ask you this before you. got your rapping voice what was your. voice. like like what you mean before my ra do. you have a heavy voice what do you I. always feel like I had a heavy voice. that was squeaky at the same time okay. yeah like I ain't never just hear no. soft girl sounding voice you have when I. first start rapping I used to try to. make myself sound like a girl because I.

always feel like I Hadar a deeper voice. how is social media on a. Woman They be hard on us social media be. way harder on females than men you think. so mm because a [ __ ] can be ugly as. hell but if he bumping they don't give a. [ __ ] oh my God we love you if uh if they. don't like a certain part of your body. they think you too skinny they think um. your feet too big anything they just. going to talk about you all the time. like they like oh you're a female you. supposed to be perfect like they don't.

they hold men to the being perfect down. that they hold women today so how does. that impact you the body shaming to talk. about your feet big or you you skinny. you this you that does that impact you. does that make you feel a certain type. of way about yourself it don't make me. feel a certain type of weight like. whatever I think about myself is what I. think about myself like if I think I'm. too skinny I'm going to go to the gym. and gain some weight if I think that not. because they said it though whatever I. do is because what my thought came it's. never what nobody else if I whatever I. do is something I want to do it's never. nothing nobody else made me do oh okay.

that's what's up so let me ask you this. um you're 24 you're 24 right. mhm go back what would 24 year old glow. tell 18y old. glow I would tell myself the. uh. keep the Focus right. to to keep going and to put in the work.

right how have being a star being who. you are right now how have that changed. you. um you know um it just made me look at a. lot of [ __ ] from certain different. perspectives you know what I'm saying. from a high perspective and [ __ ] but um. I I didn't grew I didn't mature a lot. from it you know and being able to see. different [ __ ] cuz before I blew up I. didn't see a lot of [ __ ] now I'm able to.

see different [ __ ] so I matured a lot I. learned a lot of more. [ __ ] if I sit down with. you say five years from. today let's do it on your 30 your. 30 what you going to be able to tell me. what's your music career going to look. like at 30 how different will it be from. 24 uh I might not talk about the exact. same. [ __ ] but I'mma still be that.
