Bobby Lee & Andrew Santino on Joe Rogan, Joke Stealing, Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce & Kevin Hart
Y'all live long. Y'all live the Asian. community. Y. >> Yeah. Y'all eat healthy. Y'all, you. know, drink that saki. And so y. >> Yeah. Yeah. The saki. Yeah. He doesn't. eat healthy. And we walk like this. >> I used to smoke. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> And this is so good for your blood flow. >> Yeah. Look at Look at this. No pain. Can. you do that? No pain. >> If I got in that position, I'd be. tomorrow. [laughter]. All my life been grinding all my life.
Sacrifice, hustle, paid the price, want. a slice, got to roll a dice. That's why. all my life I've been grinding all my. life. All my life been [music] grinding. all my life. Sacrifice, hustle, paid the. price. Want [music] a slice. Got to roll. dice. That's why all my life I've been. grinding all my life. >> We would first like to thank Double. from Bad Friends to Club Shay. How you. doing, guys? [screaming]. >> SH. Very good. Very nice. >> Wow. >> Thanks for having us. Appreciate it. Guys, thanks for coming by Club Sha. Man, how you guys doing today? >> We feel pretty good. I just woke up like. maybe 20 minutes ago. >> I'm not fully awake yet, Shannon. >> This is rare. >> You're not fully awake yet. >> Yeah. >> And you kind of already on 11. >> Excuse me. >> You're already on 11.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> Well, look, I have Normally, [laughter]. Andrew, I know you're a whiskey drinker. Bobby, you're going to have to turn your. back on this one. So, >> No, no, no, no, no, no. >> He's sober now. Yeah. >> Yeah. I'll relapse for you. [laughter]. >> We got one. I'll relapse right now for. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Cheers, >> guys. Thank you guys for coming. >> Cheers. Cheers. Cheers. Cheers. >> Cheers. Cheers. >> Okay. [clears throat]. >> 1938. >> Yeah. >> Actually, uh 2026. [laughter].
>> Oh, June 24th. Just we just bought it. Uhuh. >> Is this cognac? >> This is cognac. It's very nice. >> This is my cognac. It's a bsop. >> Special. Yes. Very special. >> Very special. When I relapse, I will drink that. Okay. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> No. Hopefully that doesn't happen. We. don't We don't We don't want that to. happen. >> So, how you guys doing today? >> Very good. >> We feel. [laughter]. >> You wanted to though. >> Yeah. A little bit. >> Yeah. Yeah. Okay. >> We're good. >> We're very good. Yeah. Um we've been. friends for a very long time. >> Long time.
>> And then we started this. >> Long time. Like a decade. >> Vietnam. >> Yeah. Two tours. >> I was fighting. >> Yeah. I was on the other team. >> He was on the other side. >> Yeah. Yeah. We won. We won that war. Yeah. [laughter]. I am Korean, but you know what I mean? They they drafted me. >> Okay. >> Yeah. And. >> family took me in and I ended up living. with them, learned the language, learned. the culture, and then then we moved back. to the States and we started a podcast. >> Yeah. Yeah. So, it's great. Yeah. What. what American story. >> the podcast because you guys are standup. comedians, you are in movies. What made. you guys start to do a podcast?
>> Well, because Hollywood said no. [laughter]. >> Yeah. They You know what I mean? There. is a system here in Hollywood. >> that eventually, you know, for for me. it's like we have the Asian of the year. I was never the Asian of the year. Not. once. >> Not one time. I was always fifth place. >> Right. >> Right. So it's like, you know, there's a. there was a decade, the Ken Jung. year. >> Yeah. And then it was the the Ronnie. Chang decade and Yeah. Jimmy O Yang. Right. Right. I was I was always like. fourth and fifth on the list. >> Damn. >> Right. So I was I never beat those guys.
out. So you know what does one do? You. know what I mean? You have to create. your own thing. >> But I thought, you know, you know, you. remove two of the three, >> kill them. [laughter]. I SEE MURDER. YEAH. YEAH. I've thought. about it. Yeah. Yeah. I know where they. live and stuff, but you know, I'm not. I've never done that before, so it's. like Yeah. >> Yeah. And my family comes from a family. of ninjas, but I never really learned. >> But how did you guys So, how did you. guys get into into the movie business? Because you see a lot of comedians and. they say the next step is either doing. TV or doing the movies. You know, you do.
sitcoms or you X, Y, and Z. Well, I'll. explain something to you, Shannon. On a. on a scale of uh you know how they rank. NFL players, right? So, on ranked actor. wise, we get ranked on skills and looks. Our skills are quite high. Our looks are. quite low. >> So, we don't get to decide. They get to. pick. So, they say, "Do we want. >> a strange looking Korean man. >> that's shaped like a scallop, >> a scallop [laughter] boy, >> and a see-through ginger boy in this. movie?" And they decide, "Do we need an.
oddlooking creature?" And that's when we. get or no decide. >> I've seen his penis. It's translucent. >> Yeah. It's like one of those Vietnamese. spring rolls where you can see all the. inside. You see all the blood working. You know what I mean? I don't want to. see all that, you know. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> So you It's like, you know what? I think. guys, since. >> they're saying no to us in Hollywood, we. start our own thing. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> That is exactly what So standup comics. have always done the podcast thing for a. long time. And then we started our. podcast during during co his dad died.
>> My dad died. >> Sorry to hear that. >> And then he relapsed because of his. dad's death. >> And then when he got out, we started the. show to help our to help us get to get. >> Well, I mean during co we had nothing to. do. We just called each other and says. like we're, you know, I mean on. lockdown. So like let's just start one. >> cuz you you're both you're in. California, right? >> Yeah, we live here. >> But that's a different. >> CO in California was different than CO. than anywhere else. So when they said it. was locked down. >> Yeah. >> It was locked down. >> It was locked down. It was locked down.
for Yeah. >> I don't know cuz we went to French. Laundry with Gavin Newsome. [laughter]. >> That was fun. That was very fun. >> Yeah, that was very fun. Yeah, >> we we we locked down with each other in. our studio. We got a little studio with. all of our crew and then it was just us. every week. So, and then we had a girl. on our show, Rudy. Okay. who's like his. kind of daughter niece and she was there. to protect him to make sure he wouldn't. go get cigarettes or fast food. >> and she ended up being on the show. She's a main feature of the show.
>> and that spawned the Bad Game show that. we're doing now. >> Yeah. Yeah. Well, we plugged out that. band. >> Oh, I'm sorry. >> Yeah. You don't open with. >> I don't know how this works. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, you do. >> I've never done this before. >> I want to have some more whiskey with. you. >> Yeah, sure. [laughter]. >> You two guys were in GOAT with Steph. Curry. um you guys being able to. imprompt and read the scripts and and do. that at the at the stroke of you know. action go you can go. >> cuz I I did a commercial with Martin. Lawrence and it's funny. >> who's that [laughter]. >> it's funny to watch him he's just so.
he's just laidback he doesn't do a whole. lot of talking he's just to himself and. the moment the the director says action. he's he's going. >> I imagine Steph Curry this is not what. he does basketball he got really good at. basketball. It kind of like if you guys. go try basketball, you're like he. probably looking at you guys like damn. But I would imagine him [laughter]. him wanting to be great at everything. >> He's saying. we're very. >> Have you seen him bowl?
>> I am a bowling guy. >> He's a bowling god. >> I bowl at 287. >> Tell them your golf stats. >> My golf stats. I'm a golf guy. So. bowling, golf, DARTS, SHUFFLE BOARD. >> YOU'VE NEVER SEEN PING PONG. >> I'M AN ATHLETE. >> I'M A ping pong master. Shannon, >> I don't know about ping pong. I might. >> I will destroy you. No, no, no, no, NO, NO, NO. STOP. NOT BAD. I KNOW your. status. >> I know your status, right? I know who. you are. You know what I mean? Three um. Super Bowl. That's I was going to say. that. Okay. Yeah. I was going to say. three Super Bowls. All right. But let me. tell you something right now is M. Thank.
you for having me on. [laughter]. >> Very nice. >> Thank you for having me on. I. >> You THINK YOU CAN BE I WILL KILL YOU IN. table tennis. THERE'S NOT A CHANCE IN. HELL. >> YEAH. It's in his blood. >> Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. >> Yeah, sneaking around. I can sneak. around better than you. [laughter]. >> Now I understand. >> Yeah, >> you're Asian, right? >> No. >> I'm white. I have jaundice. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Yeah. I'm sick. I'm a sick Asian.
guy. >> He's going through something. >> Yeah, I'm going through something right. now, dude. All right. >> Hold on. Yes. I'm Korean. >> Have you heard of us? >> Yes, I have. >> You're high and mighty, >> but but you're NOT CHINESE. THOSE ARE. [screaming] REALLY GOOD THOUGH. TABLE. TENNIS IS A. >> YEAH. YEAH. YEAH. YEAH. YEAH. YEAH. BUT. YOU'RE NOT CHINESE EITHER. >> YEAH. [laughter] YEAH. YEAH. YOU'RE NOT. CHINESE EITHER, RIGHT? >> WELL, >> you're not known for that. >> Is that Is that racist? Is that racism? >> That felt racist. That felt racist. [laughter] No, that's what I'm saying is. that you're not known.
>> I had General Joe Shik. Does that count? >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that does count. That. does count. [laughter]. >> He general General General Styles. >> Yeah. >> You said Joe. >> That's what they call it. We call it. It's called General Charles or Joe. >> It's not Joe's. >> In the black community, it's called. General Joe's. >> Yeah. We don't say. >> that is so fun. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> Jenny Joe's chicken. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> No. General Sal. >> No, we had I had orange chicken, too. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> That's my That's my people. >> What about Panda Express? >> What? >> What's Panda Express? >> Panda Express is Chinese. >> Oh, yeah. See? >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> I had [laughter] eat that.
>> WHAT DO YOU MEAN? DO I EAT THAT? IT'S IN. THE. >> YOU CAN GO TO MR. CHOW'S. YOU HAVE THE. MONEY TO GO TO MR. CHOWS. >> THEY AIN'T GOT MR. CHOWS in the airport. >> That's true. That's true. That they. needed. >> That's a good point. That's a [laughter]. really good point. But but but back to. >> Wait a minute. Time out. He pretends. like he goes to the airport. >> Yeah. You don't You don't. >> for you, bud? Yes. >> GSX or private? No. No. No. No. No. I go. right through. >> You don't play. You don't do private. every time. >> No. Hell no. >> Wow. Is this true? >> Is this true? >> Yeah. We're on the producer. Is that. true?
>> I've never seen you on a plane. >> I ain't got bread like that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, you don't have bread like. that. >> I ain't got Rogan money or caller daddy. money. I ain't got that kind of money. Oh, okay. Okay. Would I get that kind of. money then? I. >> But you have NFL money. >> Yeah, but not like invested back. You. invested it. >> Not like current NFL players. >> Oh, I was 30 years ago. >> Yeah. Oh, that was different back then. >> It was very different. Very, very, very, very, very different. >> Yeah. Yeah. Like, how different though? >> It's a scorching sports summer and you. can make all your picks on prize picks.

That's code Shannon to get $50. in lineups after you play your first $5. lineup. Prize picks a preferred partner. of the NBA. Uh, guys get in a signing. bonus what I made in my entire career. Oh my god. That's not fair because. you're a legend tight end. >> You got to realize guys are guys are. making more money now.
>> I researched [laughter] guys are making. more money now than what some uh teams. were actually purchased for. >> Whoa. >> That's insane. That's not fair. >> Yeah. >> Guys in the 60s and 70s said it wasn't. fair what the guys in the 80s and 90s. were making. And what the guys said, what guys are making now, the guys in. the 90s. >> Do you think you think NFL players. should make more than NBA players? I. don't think you know they play I mean. it's so I just wish the NFL player. salaries were guaranteed like NBA.
players like MLB players like hockey. players things of that nature. I that's. what I do wish but it's hard to say. because baseball you play 162 games. Basketball you play 82 games. I don't. know how many games they play in hockey, but it is it's a physical very very. physical demanding sport and it leaves. its toes on on on it on your body once. you're done. So hopefully guys are. making money now. Guys didn't make a. whole lot of money back in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. So it's easy to say, well, you. should have saved your money and they. made good money compared to a guy that's.
working a 9 to5. >> Sure. >> But it wasn't like the money that guys. are making, you know, one year what guys. made their entire, you know, you'd have. to play 25 years in the 80s to make what. a guy makes one year. >> Okay. Who's getting a salary that they. don't deserve? Go. >> No. Everybody deserves [laughter]. let us know. Let us know. You have to. realize what you what you do because. it's not so much like an actor. It's not. so what did he go through just to get. that one job. Yeah. We get the Giuliard. and we get all that other stuff, but.
it's a lifetime. >> What about all the nos? >> I think I mean we we went through hell. too, Shannon. YES. >> YEAH. OPEN MIC. OPEN MIC FOR DECADE. No. money in front of three people. >> But everybody Why we Why you get so. aggressive? But [laughter]. >> why are you getting so aggressive with. me? I. >> But everybody every everybody that does. Oprah Mike and we had this conversation. the other night on night cap for. everybody that's successful. There are a. lot of people that put just as much. time, effort, and energy into it that.
didn't become successful. >> and they did exactly what you did. They. ate the same way. They trained just as. hard. They were just as disciplined and. dedicated. But it just didn't work out. >> because they were chosen. >> You were chosen. You were chosen. Yeah. Yeah. You were chosen. We were chosen by. also the people that we started with. that like you did open mics with us, right? They don't have the quality. Not. in terms of like but we'll stab people. in the back. [laughter] You know what I. mean? I mean, you know what I mean? >> Take out your enemies. >> You take out your enemies. >> Oh, so you were the golden child. >> I was the golden child. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like I was an emperor. Sure.
Like a 17th century emperor. Yeah. And I. would like behead who I needed to. behead, right? I would do sneaky little. >> Exactly. >> Point. >> Yeah. Gone. >> Or. Yeah. But we um we we were survivors. Yeah. And I was able to like. >> because you have to understand I started. in the '9s. Okay. >> There were no a lot of Asian dudes in. the '90s, dog. >> Oh, the only one you know honestly the. only. >> Who do Who do you know from the '90s? >> Margaret Choy. >> That Cho Cho. She's the only one. Now, I.
think Ali Wong now. >> Ali Wong. Ali Wong. Yeah. >> Yeah. Jimmy O. I had Jimmy O on the. show. But those. >> It's unbelievable that you would have. Jimmy O Yang on your show before us. >> Yeah. That is absolutely. But anyway, let's move on. Um, yeah. Uh, but it. Yeah, you get it. He's hot right now. He's hot right now. I love to Achilles, didn't he? >> Yeah, he's Achilles he. >> I don't know what he was doing. I see. him riding around. He got a boot on and. got on on a scooter. He tore his. Achilles. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, he did. >> Cooking. What was he doing? >> I don't know what he was doing. Yeah.
Techundo. I don't know. Yeah. But no, but we back in the 90s it was just me. and Joe Koy in the open mic scene, >> right? And it's like, you know, club. owners were like, like I had like a room. go, an Asian guy's never going to make. it. >> Really? >> Oh, yeah. Because back then, look, in. the '9s, >> Yes. >> a guy that looks like me, never going to. make it. There was no way. And so I had. that extra thing on me. And you know, and because we're I'm Korean. >> Yes. >> You know, and we have this thing cuz we. were oppressed for so long with the.
Japanese. >> for 50, 60 years. And we have this like, you know what I mean? This strength, you. know what I mean? and this resentment. >> and this I'm going to go walk through. the fire. >> I will walk through any fire, my friend. >> Yeah. So, if I was athletic. >> like yourself, >> I think that I would have made it in. there. >> You didn't play sports growing up? >> Ping pong. >> No, I wasn't. No, I was on the tennis. team and wrestling team. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. If you were 5'2, if you look like. Spanky Hayes or Kevin Hart, I'd be able. to take you on. But my my [laughter]. >> Yeah, but I I have I'm I have, you know,
HRS, which is hidden strength, you know. I mean, [laughter] I Let me cut that. out. Maybe we could navigate. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But like. I'm very strong. Yeah. Like, you know. what I mean? I'm very strong, you know? But I'm just I don't have the like. physicality cuz my parents were little. yellow dwarves. You know what I mean? And so it's like, you know, when you. have little yellow dwarf parents, you're. going to become become a minion like. myself. Yeah. >> So when you working when you was working. with Steph Curry, did you see the kind. of dedication that made him what he.
became in basketball? Do you see that. when you get people that's not in your. genre that doesn't do this for a living. and they come and they try to do it? Do. you see them put the kind of effort in. to be great at what they're doing? >> We didn't even see him. >> We didn't see him. >> really at the premiere. I saw him from. like three miles away and I go, "Oh, that's Steph Curry.". >> So y'all were never IN ON THE SCENE. >> STEPH, [screaming]. >> WE WERE IN THE MOVIE, TOO. STEPH. >> STEPH, PLEASE. >> AND HE'S JUST GONE. WE never saw him. >> He left in a spaceship. I did I did a TV.
show where Ellen DeGeneres was our my. producer. Never met her. >> Wow. >> A lot. Well, we we met Steph outside of. the movie during the filming. We don't. We're It was just him and I in the. booth. >> Yeah, just him and I in the booth. >> We were together and then they separate. all those people. So, like. >> you know like Toy Story. those guys aren't recording together. They're all doing separate. >> kind of like Shrek and everything like. >> Yeah. You never see them. >> But you at the premiere you see them. sometimes. But Steph, he's on another. planet.
>> Another planet. >> He's like a He's an enigma. He comes in. and kind of comes and goes. >> So, no, we didn't get to see him, but. >> yeah, >> I do know he's the greatest shooter of. all time. And you do see his work ethic. >> I have I have met him as as well. He. used to have this uh dating show, I. think, on HBO or something. And my. girlfriend at the time and I did it, you. know, and we won. We cheated, but we. won. Yeah. Yeah. >> Oh, you did. That's right. >> She's not your girlfriend anymore. >> We did cheat. We did cheat. Yeah, we. cheated. >> She's not your girlfriend anymore. >> No, no, no. Rest in peace. >> We would wish for to each other like. this. You know, we're ventriloquist, you.
know. I mean, and we cheated. >> Andrew, you were But you was in House. Party with LeBron. Did you see LeBron on. set? >> Wasn't there. [laughter]. >> Damn. >> They keep us away from us. >> I think it might be us. It's something. >> It could be us. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> House Party was a good uh was a fun. little pop in pop out. Anytime I get to. pop in and pop out, >> you loves pop in and popping out. and. and and my my goal at that point was. >> uh how many black cultural films can I. be a part of? >> That was my that was my thing. >> I'm looking on if Friday makes any sort.
of a comeback, I'm looking to come back. >> Oh, it's for a coming back. >> I know. I'm trying. I'm Trust me, I'm. sneaking my nose in there. I want to get. back. >> Shannon, why do you think that black. ladies don't like me? >> And why do you think black women do like. me? [laughter]. Ah, listen. >> I tried for you 55 years old. Hit on so. many like nah. >> No. >> Right. Is it You think they think they. have a small penis? >> Do you really think that you. >> No. Look at me right now. Look at me. right now. Honestly. Right. Do you think. they think that I have a small penis?
>> I think based on the history with the. Asian community and the black community. >> Yeah. I see. I see. >> Yeah. They kind of NOT FEELING YOU. >> OH, [laughter] ALL RIGHT. ALL RIGHT. You. you think so? You think historically. like during the '92 riot? >> Yeah, we see the Nasha Harland. situation. Oh yeah, that was terrible. >> We saw what happened, >> BUT I WAS ON HER SIDE. >> I But. >> right, I'm not a rooftop Korean. >> It's kind of, >> you know, you know the Koreans that were. on the liquor stores on the rooftop. I'm. not one of those. I was looting. [laughter].
>> I was looting WITH YOU GUYS. >> COME ON, JJ. YOU AND WE'RE CARRYING TVS. TOGETHER. LIKE I WAS LIKE on your side. >> in in in the South Carolina situation. >> YEAH, I WAS ON YOUR SIDE. >> YEAH. So I I I think that might have. something to do with it. >> Yeah. So yeah. Yeah. But but it's not is. it penis size? >> I don't know. I don't know what. >> Let me ask you another question. Um do. you think that I have a like just based. on my what you see, right? You think I. have a small penis? [laughter]. >> I mean.
>> let's be honest with statistically they. say Asian men are not as. blessed. True. >> No, [clears throat]. [laughter]. >> not true. >> But you are GOOD AT MATHEMATICS. >> NO, NO, NO, NO, NO. I'M GOING WITH AN. ABACUS. >> NO, he's actually not good at math. I'm. not good. >> I'm not good at math. Let me tell you. something. >> So, you just cursed all the way around. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, let me tell. you something right now. Okay. >> Funny. He's very funny. >> I'm very funny. But I'm going to I just. want to say something right now to you. Okay. My friend. Okay. Your new friend. And um mine's um boyfriend.
>> And what that means every girl that I've. ever been with is like it's the perfect. size. >> Yeah. got to come home to on a regular. >> No one wants to see a Godzilla every. NIGHT [laughter]. and they don't want that. You know what. I mean? They want, you know what I mean? You have Godzilla and I know I know just. by the look your feet, right? [laughter]. >> Yeah. [screaming]. >> You know, it's scary. So, what I'm. saying is that not every night they.
don't want to be scared every night, right? But mine's a gentle like average. Yeah. >> You know what I mean? Like, but I'm. trying to figure out why they don't like. you. Because women like to laugh. >> and when normally when comedians, people. that can be funny, what what do they. say? Sense of humor. Women like that's. very high up on their list. >> How many black women have you ever seen. with Asian men in public? >> Black women with Asian men. Normally, it's the other way around. I know. >> Have you ever seen a black woman with an. Asian man in public? >> I can't say that I have.
>> Yeah. >> And that's a mystery we must solve right. now. Yeah. Okay, we have to listen here. Start dating Asian. No, not Asians in. general. That's too specific. >> Korean, >> Cambodian, Vietnamese. Let's go through. them. >> Thai. >> Thai. Filipino. >> Filipino. Yeah. Yeah. Filipino. Oh, they're more they're more Mexican. >> That's true. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They're more. island Mexicans. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But. um um so black ladies out there, we. have, you know, boyfriend penises, right? We're loyal.
>> We're soft. >> Touch. I mean, yo, touch my skin. >> Touch his skin. >> Touch my skin. >> Soft. >> Soft as bro. >> Hey, what's up y'all? It's your favorite. dunk here. Proud partner of Rose Sparks. Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I've never cheated on. anybody. Right. You know, relationship. end in different ways. Intimacy problems. and whatnot, right? But back then, I had. a porn kind of like like a porn. addiction. You know what I mean? That. [ __ ] up my relationship with my wife. Yeah. Yeah. But I stopped watching porn.
because I want my new relationship to. survive. Right. >> Right. But I'm what I'm telling you. right now is I want to say to the world, right, that I have boyfriend dick, right? And also, if I'm single again, I've never dated a black woman. I find. them very attractive. >> Do you want one? >> I I I I want to date one. Yeah. >> Yeah. I mean I think. >> are you dating with are you are you like. okay because now you're going to hear. intent. Are you dating with the intent. to be married or are you dating just to. date? >> I'm looking for a life partner. But I. think I the one I'm dating right now. she's a white.
>> She's a wife. >> She's a new age white though. >> She's a new age white. Yeah. >> She's not like the old white. >> She's not old white. She's not 950s. white. >> She's like a new hip white. Hip white. progressive. >> She doesn't know what Pearl Harbor is. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> She knew what Pearl Harbor was. ain't. got no separate wife. No, >> no, no, no, no, no, no. Like when she's. with me, you can tell. I think maybe she. has a fetish. >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. She's a kink. Yeah. She has like nunchucks at home. Everything's in bamboo. You know what I. mean? I'm like maybe she has a fetish, but like. >> Yeah. But also it's like she gets cuz.
she's a Midwest girl. >> Yeah. >> And when you get a Midwest white. >> and you're a chubby little Korean dude. like myself, you know what I mean? You. know what I mean? It's victory. >> Is she she younger? She younger than. you? >> What do you mean? She's younger than you. Like age-wise? >> She's I'm 55 in September. >> Yeah. >> How old are you, Shannon? >> I'll be 58. Wow. Friday. >> All right. And she's 35. >> Damn. >> Is that. >> No, that's perfect. >> Look at Pacino. >> Look at Pacino. >> Look at Look at Pacino.
>> 54 year difference. >> Hey, didn't he have Didn't he have just. have a kid? >> Yeah. I mean, this is the difference. between Pacino and me. Okay. All right. I'm 54 right now. Right. Right. There's. a 54 year g age gap between him and his. wife or whatever, right? >> That's like if I went to Andrew and I. went, "Hey, I'm going to the hospital. My girlfriend's about to be born.". [laughter]. >> CRAZY. >> THAT'S THE AGE GAP. IT'S INSANE. RIGHT. SO, I think 20 YEARS IS FINE.
>> YES. >> YEAH. YEAH. YEAH. I mean, you're. married, right? >> No. >> All right. So, you're dating? >> Yes. >> What is your What is your age gap? >> Well, >> you're 58. I guess you're supposed to. half your age plus seven is I that's you. can't go lower than that. >> Half your age plus seven. >> Yes. So what's half your age? >> 27. >> Plus seven. >> Plus 7. 34. >> 34. You're. >> right in your wheelhouse. >> Thank you. [laughter]. >> It takes me a long time to almost all. them can do math. >> They can do it. But I It takes me a.
little I have a little pause. >> When you have an abus Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's easier. >> It's easier. Yeah. So, um, so next time. I'm single, um, >> black ladies, please come see Bobby. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Please. >> I mean, I can I just say, >> but you but you but you got a girlfriend. and ain't nobody going to be interested. now. >> Yeah. And and I and and she could be my. life partner. All I'm saying is is that. if perhaps if I'm ever single, >> right, that I would like I like booty. >> He likes. >> Oh. SO OH, >> I LIKE THE BOOTY. >> So So So the black women got the dump. truck. You like that? >> Yeah. Yeah. I like it. You know?
>> Yeah. >> You know what I mean? Part the seas, per. [laughter] se. You know what I mean? You. know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Maybe a little fork comes out. I. don't know. You know what I mean? >> Oh, we don't do Okay. Well, this is my. fetish. But my point is is this is that. like Asian women, I like them, too, but. their asses are a little bony. >> But you've dated ASIAN WOMEN YOUR WHOLE. LIFE. >> NO, not his whole life. >> No, not my whole life. No, I dated two. Asian women. MAYBE. >> THAT'S IT. THAT'S RIGHT. THAT'S RIGHT. I. DO WIDE EVERYTHING. I DO ALL THE WHEN I. >> MAYBE YOU GOT A FETISH. [laughter].
>> How dare you, son? No. I when I go to 31. flavors, right? I try all the ice cream. I just don't want to get just mint chip. the whole time. [laughter]. >> YOU YOU TRY ALL THE FLAVORS. I WANT TO. TRY CHOCOLATE. >> YEAH. >> NO. YEAH. YEAH. YEAH. And just tell your. friends. >> I know. The problem with chocolate is is. it's a rocky road. [laughter]. >> It's a rocky road. Okay. Okay. All. right. Have you dated a black woman? >> One of my first girlfriends was shout.
out to Tanisha. She was one of my my. first girlfriends and I loved her very. much. But. >> yeah, see gingers are considered. minorities. >> Careful [laughter]. >> in my opinion. >> in the white community. >> In the white community, I think gingers. are the. >> we are the outcasts. >> Like that camera guy, him and I, we. don't uh. >> don't get along. >> Different teams. >> Yeah, different [clears throat] teams. >> Different teams. And I don't know, we. may get along just fine. I get along. with all kinds of people, but in the. white world, I am not them and I they're. not us. >> They're not us. Yeah.
Well, they pushed us out at a young age. >> So, I found myself in other groups. >> He was bullied. >> Sure. >> Yeah. Yeah. Longstar came. You know what. I mean? Stuff like that. You know, >> you remember Andy Griffin? I do. They. call Opie. Opie. >> Yeah. There goes Opie. >> But but all the minorities liked me. because they were like, "Oh, he's a he's. an outside white, right?". >> Yeah. I love outside whites. >> He loves outside. I don't like inside. whites. >> He hates inside. They're dangerous. >> They're dangerous. >> Inside whites. See what they can do. >> You can see wars. Yeah, they're good at.
the war. >> They're so good at the wars, dude. Inside whites are the best at that. >> You both were in. >> like Pete Hex inside white. [laughter]. >> That's an inside white. He's not. outside. You know what I mean? Yeah. No, >> you were both in a uh in a movie with. Adam Sandler. What's it like working. with Adam? >> Oh my god. I can't. >> Adam, he's worked with Adam a few times. >> Yeah, I love him. >> Adam is uh I don't know how to say it. It sounds like we're He's like the He's. one of our favorite people to ever be in. comedy.
>> It's a It's you know when you Yeah. There's several kings. >> He's one of the kings. >> He's one of the kings, you know, and. it's like um. >> He calls you do it. >> Yeah. You call you do it. Like last like. last night I went to the Larry David um. premiere for his new show. >> King. >> He Larry David is a king, right? He cut. me out of the show. >> Yep. >> Yeah. Damn. >> He called me last week and goes, "I'm. sorry you didn't make the cut." Right. >> But he goes, "Still calm." And normally. if it wasn't him, I if they cut me, >> you cut me out, I'm not coming. >> I'm not coming. But with him, he called.
he respectfully called me. He goes, "I'm. so sorry. I'll look out for you the next. time." Which I believe him. He's one of. those guys. And he's a king. I'll show. up, >> right? Because he's respect he's king. >> Who's a king to you? Like. >> Yeah. Who's a king for to you? >> Who would you No matter what the call, when the call, where the call, you're. going to go if they need you. >> Obama. >> No, >> I meant in his industry. I meant like an. athlete. >> Oh, you talking about the M. Oh, >> like an athlete that's a king to you. That's like because these are comedians. to us that are our like. >> Payton Manny.
>> Yeah, >> show up for Payton. >> Yeah, you show up for him. >> You'll go anywhere. You'll go anywhere. for Payton. Let's call him right now. We. should call him. [laughter]. >> I'm trying to think. >> I probably uh I don't I'm not really. really close to a whole lot. Uh I would. uh Travis Kelce. Uh this a good. I'm trying to think. Hold on. Hold on. Let me see. currently playing. >> Well, Michael Jordan would if he. >> Yeah, I I I know him a little bit.
>> Yeah, but if Jordan called you. >> and it says, "Hey, I'm in Panama. >> You You want to play truckers?". >> You kind of come to Panama. [laughter]. >> Yeah. Would you go to Panama? We'll film. it. >> Uhhuh. I'm trying to think who I'm. really close with. LeBron. If LeBron. called, I. >> Yeah, you have to show him. I'd show for. LeBron. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Whatever he wants. >> Whatever he wants. He says, "Shannon, we. have to bury this body. Cut it up. I'm. in St. Barts. Can you be here?". >> No, I can't. >> Okay. You wouldn't cut bodies for. anybody. Let me tell you something.
Okay. Yeah. We cut for each other. >> What? Oh, yeah. >> If Sandler called and said, "Hey, buddy, you're shooting this thing. You got to. kill a guy to get." We do it. >> Yeah. [laughter] Yeah. >> It depends on who it is. >> No. No, it doesn't. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> No. >> Okay. >> No, I just do what he does. >> We kill for Sam. >> Yeah. He seems like who. >> How different, Adam? How different is he. like being around him? cuz you guys guys. kind of know him because he seems like a. very quiet guy. You look at him, he's so. unassuming. You watch I watch him on the. basketball court and I'm like, bro, you. out there with a lot of with a button. down and some and some Hawaiian shorts.
on. >> He'll cross somebody though. >> Yes. >> Yes. Yeah. He No, he's good. Adam is a. quiet, unassuming, very chill guy who's. humble, but he's he's nasty at a lot of. stuff. I mean, he's phenomenal. >> What do you mean by what do you mean by. nasty? >> He's nasty at basketball. He's nasty. He's underrated. I think I think people. see the clothes and they think, "No, no, no, no. He's nasty. >> He's nasty.". >> Yeah. >> Yeah. He's He's good. He's He's one of. those guys. I don't know if anybody has. anything bad to say about him. I really. don't know. >> I don't know. He's the nicest guy in the.
world. Yeah. >> Well, I mean, if you bring up a name, I. will go off on that person, but he's not. Adam I love. You know what I mean? Yeah. If you bring up certain names, I would. be like, "Okay, I got something off.". >> But he yelled at you because you kept. what? >> Yeah. You kept messing. [laughter]. Yeah, you did yell. He He. >> How you mess up your line? You're a. professional. >> Oh my god. >> He gets really nervous. [laughter]. >> How you get nervous? You've been You've. been. >> It wasn't Dude, can I get some more water, please? >> Can I get some more? >> Yeah. I'd like some more water, please.
I'd like some more water, please. Thank. you. Um I [ __ ] up my I [ __ ] up my. lines. How. >> [ __ ] up his lines? >> Because here's what happened. Okay. >> Okay. Tell me what happened. >> All right. David Spade asked me to do. this movie. >> Yes. >> To fly to Hawaii to do one line, two. lines in a movie. And I go, "Yeah, Dave, I want to fly all the way for two lines, >> but it's a free trip.". >> I KNOW, BUT IT'S like I know. I. understand that. But it's like I can. afford Hawaii.
>> I can afford Hawaii on my own. Right. So. I go, Right. >> And then they go, "Adam's here.". >> See? >> Yeah. He's a producer. >> Yes. Right. And then at the moment I had. a panic attack. >> Had you not met Adam before? >> I had. Okay. But let me just say. something. Okay. And then I was on my. beta blockers. >> It was hot. And Hawaiian words I have a. hard time saying. >> Okay. >> Stuff like that. Right. And it was one.
of those lines where it's like, "Welcome. to the Holly Hotel." You know what I. mean? May I help you? And I couldn't say. that. It was like so hot, right? >> And he came up to me and it was just. basically like, "What's going on?" You. know what I mean? And I just can't, >> you know, it was just a frustrating day, you know what I mean? And I had to do. like 30 takes. It was embarrassing. >> Damn. Two lines, >> one line. [laughter]. >> God dang. [clears throat]. [cough]. >> I shame. I shamed myself.
>> Has Has that h How hard is that? Have. you been on set and you see people that. can't get their lines and it's like cuz. I when people mess up and you're doing. something you're like damn and you know. they're messing up and you like you just. like you want to disappear for them. >> Oh yeah. >> Well, yeah. Not in comedy. If if. someone's bombing on stage I walk in. >> Yeah. We want to see it. >> We want to see it. We like we like we. like that. Yeah. Because we love to see. like how they're going to survive the. situation. Right. But when it comes to. acting Yeah. It is a little.
embarrassing. But if you're a serious. regular on a show and you've you know. this person, people have their off days. I'll tell you a story. I I did a movie. with Shash Sasha Baron Cohen. It was. called The Dictator. >> And I was I had to do a scene with Ben. Kingsley. >> Okay. >> Sir Kingsley. >> Sir Ben Kingsley. Sir Ben Kingsley. >> Yeah. And um I was super nervous cuz I'm. a comic and I you know I you know I'm. not you know I haven't acted much and.
he's a master. Yeah, >> I was super nervous and I remember. when we were doing the scene he goes he. said kept saying line and in my mind I. was like oh even the greats forget. >> wow. >> and that taught me a lesson. >> of like you know I mean everyone makes. mistakes. >> you know I mean Nicole Kidman probably. makes mistakes. >> probably not [laughter]. good. >> Tom Hardy probably makes. >> probably not pretty professional. >> Leo. >> Leo definitely doesn't make. >> anyway he made a mistake.
a couple of mistakes. >> And so do I. We're human. >> We're human. >> We're human. >> And comics overthink everything, especially when we go into. us. When we're acting, that's them. So, you got to do what they want you to do. >> Yeah. I don't know much about football. I don't know what a tight end does, but. I'm pretty sure. Let me just assume what a tight end is. Can I try to guess? >> Guess. Yeah. Guess. >> You're in the forward. >> He's in the forward. >> You're not defensive. >> He's not defensive. He's on the offense.
Now, now we're getting somewhere, right? >> He He'll refer to soccer terms. >> Yeah. Yeah. You're not a wide receiver, but you're in mid. You do blocking, but. you're also. >> Yes. also catch the ball. >> You still catch a ball. Yeah. Yeah. See, >> that's very good. >> You know Travis Kelce. >> I do not. >> Okay. >> But I know that he's friends with them. >> What about Grank? >> Oh, I did a TV show with Grank. I love. Grank. Gron is a tight end as well. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He's a tight end. as well. Yeah. Yeah. So, I'm familiar. with kind of, you know what I mean? Football, but I I mean, you know, I I.
it's not Here's the reason why. Um. because I only support sports that have. Asian dudes in it. >> So, the Dodgers I can go, "Yeah, Otani.". Otani. Then I I can imagine myself being. Otani. >> You were just talking bad about the. Japanese. [laughter]. >> They laugh. >> SOME THINGS WE FORGIVE. SOME THINGS WE. FORGIVE. SOME THINGS WE FORGIVE. RIGHT. Jeremy Lynn when he was playing. Is that. him? >> Yeah. >> The little Asian guy for the next. Right. I'll go there. Look at the little. guy go. You know what I mean? I like. that. You know what I mean? >> We got into basketball for a year and a.
half. >> Yeah. Yeah. Because of Jeremy Lynn, you. know, in soccer. That's why I love. soccer because, you know, I mean, we. have, you know, son, you know, plays for. the LFC. You know what I mean? We have. um legends in the game of soccer. So, I. I'm a big soccer fan. >> Did you guys make the World Cup? >> Korea? Yeah. >> Yeah. We just played. We're terrible. >> Yeah. But he roots for North, not South. >> Yeah. North Korea didn't make it. Yeah. North Korea is not Kim Jong-un's my. cousin. I have ballistic missiles, you know, at. home. It's It's amazing. >> I don't know if he wants. >> Come over. Just come over. >> I mean, some some cousins you don't.
want. >> You know, some is not, you know, he's. just a guy. >> He's just a guy. >> He's hanging out. >> Just a guy. >> He likes to have missile uh crystal meth. factories. >> Oh, love. >> They love meth factories. >> After watching a friend go through a. loss a few years back, I saw how quickly. grief turned to financial stress. So, so let me because like. you said, you're in standup and. obviously you have to remember your set.
You're like whether you got 20 minutes, whether you got 30, 45, maybe even an. hour and you're just like rapid fire, rapid fire. How difficult it is because. you only have it's not like you're going. through a whole monologue in your line. So, how how was you what did you did you. freeze? I got nervous. >> I got nervous. That was one of my first. and it was The Office, so it was like a. big deal. >> Absolutely. It was a big deal. >> And John Krinski was directing it. >> Yes. >> They were at that part of the se of that. part of the you know when like the shows. are going on long enough and they're. like just let the let the. >> Yes. Yes. They ask.
>> I know. But it's only after like six. year they're like fine let him direct. it. but he was directing it and um it. was me and Ed Helms and I got nervous. because I respect both of them and I'm. supposed to smack his hand and I kept. smacking his hand with the wrong hand. and John kind of you know uh bluntly was. like stop [ __ ] it up in a nice way. >> No, >> no, I don't know if you say stop by no. no no no no. Don't save yourself. Yeah,
Donald. No, no, no, no. I know these. stories. I know these stories. >> And I looked him in the eye and I said, "Listen here, Jack Ryan." [laughter]. >> Yeah. >> I'm getting paid 800 bucks for this. I'm. doing whatever the [ __ ] I want. >> Yeah. I've had my problem. >> They spit on him. >> and they kicked me off the boat. No, I. screwed up a lot. I kept screwing up. >> Who cares? >> I know. >> Who gives a [ __ ] But Ed Helms was very. nice about it cuz he was very gracious. as a comedic actor cuz he could tell I. was trying to get a funny line in there. and then do the smack and I kept. screwing it up over and over and I felt.
awful and they didn't give me sunscreen. and I burned so bad that day but I. deserved the burn. >> I deserved the burn. My performance was. terrible. >> It was incredible. I saw it. >> Yeah, it was very bad. >> It was very good. Okay, so I'm going to. say something. I did a pilot once with. Oliver Hudson. You know who that is? >> I do. >> Who is he? >> Oliver Hudson if I'm not mistaken. That's uh uh. >> Kate Hudson's brother. >> No brother, but that's uh what's the uh. what's her name? >> Mhm. >> Goldie Han and Kurt Russell's son. >> Yep. >> Yeah.
>> No, no, no. >> Oliver H. That's That's uh Goldie Han's. son. Forget the dad. >> Yeah. Stepdad. Stepdad. >> Yeah. Step. But Kurt Russell and Goldie. Han. But I know. So we did a pilot once. and he tells me. >> all everyone's here. the whole stu. studios here, right? And all the. executives and it was a street scene. where him and I are walking down the. street and I go, I don't know if I I'm. so I'm having a pan panic attack. >> Wow. >> And Oliver pulls me aside and he goes,
just focus, breathe. And we did a. breathing exercise. >> Yeah. >> Right. And he go and then he told me, you know, he goes, I've had these things. before. And he told me some stories. about how he couldn't get some lines out. and thing, you know what I mean? and and. he he tried to get me psychologically, you know what I mean, ready for Right. And he did it right. So it's what my. point is that what John should have done. >> and and Ed Helm should have done, right? Is pull you aside. No, no, no, no. [ __ ]. that. >> [ __ ] that [ __ ] man. Pull you aside and.
and help you and go, "Listen, we're. going to get this.". >> He did. He did. He did. >> I don't think he did. >> I think they did a fine job. >> Yeah. The best piece of advice I ever. got was from um John Herd. That's his. name right. If I'm forgetting from the. dad from Home Alone. John Herd. >> Yeah, >> John. >> I think No, I don't know. >> Yeah. Look it up. Look it up. >> He was in big. >> Oh, yeah. >> John Herd. Yeah. >> I did an indie movie with him. A. terrible indie movie in Chicago. I'm not. The movie wasn't bad. I did a terrible.
job. >> It was bad. I did a bad job. >> You're great. >> But John said John was smoking in his. chair. He's dead now. Rest in peace. And. he said to me, I go, "Man, I'm worried. about this scene is pretty emotional. I. think I'm doing a bad job." And he said, "Kid, people are going to watch this on. their phones. It doesn't matter." And I. was like, "Oh, that feels good.". >> Yeah. >> Like they took me out of it. It was. like, "It's not that big of a deal. People are going to watch us while. they're texting and driving.". >> Wow. >> It'll be on in the background. He's. like, "This is not going to be on the. >> Shannon. Most people watch your show.
more than they watch network TV.". >> Yeah. >> And Yeah. and streaming or anything. >> If you're out here trying to scale a. business and you're doing everything. yourself, come on now. I. remember having a uh I think his name. was Ryan Shenman and I had a. conversation with him. It had to be like. 99 or 2000 and he I remember him telling.
me he said reality television is going. to replace all what you see on network. television. I said why? He said because. it's cheaper. >> Yes. >> He said you start out paying somebody. $500 an episode and you shoot x amount. of episodes and then when it gets really. popular, as popular as it may be, you'll. probably only have to pay them somewhere. between 50 and 100,000 an episode. You. get real actors and they get on a TV. show and it becomes popular, you're. going to pay them $500,000, a million. dollars per episode and you shooting 23.
or 24 of those. And just imagine if you. got four or five people in that episode. Yes. >> But think of how scary that is for us. cuz that's going backwards. And the. studio system used to you'd be a hired. actor. You'd be you'd be a you're either. a plumber actor, meaning you just a. hired gun for the day or you signed a. contract with the studio and they owned. your ass and you had to do a bunch of. [ __ ] So then you got underpaid. So all. the revenue that they generated from. advertising and sales, you got zero. So. it'd be like saying, you know, whenever. some whenever somebody says like. athletes get overpaid, it's the biggest.
croc of [ __ ] on earth because they're. generating the money for the team. >> So when the actors are generating the. money for the show and the networks are. selling all of this stuff on top of it, >> they should get paid. But nowadays, nobody wants to pay anything. No. >> So the only way to win is make it. independently, put your money behind it, and then make them beg for it. and then. overcharge them, >> right? >> That's the only way we can do it now. Well, no. [ __ ] them a little bit. That's. the [laughter] only way. >> No, no, no. We love Don't say help them.
>> No, I'm going to say that because. because for years they underpay you and. then when you see the numbers, when. you're inside the machine Yes. >> and you see it, you see how much. [ __ ] it was. So then we generated an. audience. We got very, very blessed and. lucky to have people come along for this. ride. And then we dictate the future. Yes. >> And we want people to work with us, but. and not at the cost of them making so. much money and us. That's [ __ ]. >> Also, we have because of the internet. Right. Back in the day, they used to.
have gatekeepers. >> Yes. >> Right. There's eight gatekeepers. If. seven out of the eight of them don't. like you, you have one gatekeeper. Me, it was a specific um casting director. named Allison Jones. >> The best. >> She's the best. She was my gatekeeper. Right. >> Most of my work is through her. the. other casting directors I could never. get work from. Right? So it's like now. you're waiting for one casting director. for one part that may or may not arise. Right? So you're waiting for years. >> Okay. >> You get it and they go there's no money.
>> There's no money. Right. So yeah. Yeah. So why so why'd you call me? >> What? >> Well, I mean if you you work you work. for a living, right? If you call me for. a job that's really not paying I mean. how does that help? >> But that's how but they don't care. because they know you want the job that. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> They know you want a spot in the show. Yeah. >> So, so, so it's like if you got an offer. >> to play in the league, >> you want to play in the league, but for. us, we have to, that's all we can do. >> It's kind of like, you know what? You're. not going to be on the roster. You're. going to be on the practice squad. So,
you practice all week long. Nobody will. ever see you. >> We're all Rudy. We're Rudy. >> We're Rudy. We're Rudy. We're Rudy. Rudy. Ryudy. Rudy. >> Wow. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> So, is that kind of why you guys kind of. started doing your own thing? Started. >> Well, we Yeah, it is. Standups. Stand-ups all kind of wanted to get in. this world of like how do we reach our. audience? Yes. >> If we're not on TV, >> right? >> And so we started the podcast world. Bobby started a podcast with his. ex-girlfriend called Tiger Belly 11 how. many years ago? >> That's right. >> Yeah. 11 years ago and I started my own.
podcast and then we had these two worlds. and I was like we should do this. together and he we should. >> What's that? >> We should. We should. And he said, "We. should." And we did. And. >> she let She let you keep the IP, Bobby. >> Well, they share it. >> We share. >> They share everything. >> So you have to So you have to break. bread with her. So you win a little. something. You know, you make a little. break. What do you mean break bread? >> Well, I mean, you What do you mean? >> You You make money. She make a little. money, too. >> You make money, she makes money, we make. money, >> I get a higher percentage, but Yeah. I. mean Yeah. Yeah. I get a little higher. percentage. Yeah. Yeah. But Yeah. Yeah. I do break bread. I'm a a bread breaker.
>> He's a bread breaker. >> Yeah. Yeah. For sure. Like in the Bible. Yeah. >> Just like in the Bible. >> Yeah. Like you know if I was at that. that table was it was the the last. supper. >> Yeah. >> I want a break. >> I love Jesus. >> You would have been eating before. anybody got their food. >> Yeah. I'd have some rice. >> As soon as you said. >> Yeah. And some kimchi. >> But we started we started the podcast. >> I don't know if kimchi was available. Yeah. Yeah. It Oh, no. No. Thousands of. years. Kimchi. White kimchi. REGULAR. KIMCHI. >> Jesus ate kimchi. >> He did. He ate kimchi. Yeah. Well, he. could just make magically make it. appear.
>> Yeah. He could he could he could ferment. it with seconds. >> Yeah. It with seconds. Yeah. You don't. have to bury that [ __ ]. >> I heard about bread, but I ain't hear. about kimchi. >> Oh, yeah. It's in there. It's in the. text. >> Okay. >> John Paul Mark, they all had. >> They all had kimchi, right? One of them. probiotics. >> Probiot. Yeah, >> they need the probiotics. >> Original gifts for baby Jesus. Baby, frankincense and kimchi, but they didn't. know if that would go over. So, myrrh. kind of slid its way. >> He liked Philly cheese steaks, too. >> Yes, he did. >> Yeah. People don't chop cheese. He love. Jesus. >> Jesus love chop cheese. >> They had cheeseburgers. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Of course, they had. cheeseerment cuz they had cows. Shannon.
>> Shannon the head goat goats. >> They had goats. >> Goats. You could goats. >> I didn't. >> So, we started a podcast as an answer to. >> being feeling like we didn't want to cl. We didn't want that sisphus journey of. like how much longer do we climb the. hill? We're like, well, we'll just do. our own thing. And it's been great. Yes. >> And we still want to be a part of the. world, but our little thing is our thing. now. I It's great. We We love the. audience we created. like Sex in the.
City. They go, "You want to do four like. reoccurring?" And they called me and. they I didn't have the audition. They. just said, "You want to do it?" I'll do. that. >> Right. >> I was on I've been on different things. You know what I mean? You if they call. me, but like I'm not going to wait in. line anymore. >> Right. >> I did that. >> He did it for a long time. >> I did it for 20 plus years. I just. waiting in line and go, "Hey, you're in. the mix. >> We'd love to be a part of. >> you. Don't you hate that in the mix? You're in the mix. You're in the mix. We're an arc of the mix.". >> Or those old terminology like we pinned. you. Yeah, we pinned you. >> Yeah, but how many people have you.
pinned? >> Seven. >> Yeah, there's seven. Right. And then at. the end of the day, they're like, "Yeah, you didn't get it." You know what I. mean? And you have to wait another six. months. And it's like, >> have you got Have you thought Because I. know you said earlier there's not a. whole lot of roles that are written for. Asian X, Y, and Z. Have you thought. about you and some of your Asian. counterparts? Have you thought about. writing something specifically for like. crazy what is it? Crazy Crazy Rich. Asian. >> Rich Asians. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> He wasn't in that. >> Yeah. No, no, no. Have you thought about doing something. like that? >> Well, he just he's going to do just.
crazy Asian. >> Crazy Asian. Yeah. Yeah. Cravy broke Asian. >> Yeah. Yeah. Um, you know, h I have to. say there's elitism in the Asian. Hollywood. >> Damn. >> Yeah. >> Y'ALL DON'T GET ALONG. >> NO, NO, NO. IT'S NOT THAT. [laughter]. IT'S A BUT I THINK that they think I'm a. dirty one. >> Yeah. >> I think they think I'm a dirty Asian. >> Where did they get that from? >> Well, because they think that like I'm. one of these. I'm carrying rice, you. know, back in the 15th century. Right. Right. Or working in the coal mines, you. know what I mean? I'm not like, you.
know, in the palace. >> Oh, so you're not the smoking. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They I think they look. at me like this. Like Yeah. There's this. thing called the uh Golden Gala Award. It's It's an Asian, you know, I mean, >> excellence award. >> It's a No, not excellence award. It's. called the Golden Gala. >> Golden Gala. >> Yeah. Yeah. And it's like they all the. fancy Asians come. >> Yeah. >> The Michelle Yao, Steven Yun, right? And. they're in this front row. Yeah. RIGHT. I'M IN THE BACK. [screaming]. >> BUT YOU GOT AN INVITE. >> I know. I'm not a plus one. You can't.
invite anybody. >> They don't give YOU A. >> NO, THEY DON'T EVEN GIVE ME A PLUS ONE. SO I'M LIKE, YOU KNOW, I'm not I'm not a. fancy Asian. I get it. You know what I. mean? And I feel like that in my bones. >> And then you don't So you did you. attend? >> Yeah. >> No, this year I didn't go. >> Well, this year you didn't go this year. >> I had gone before, but this year like. can I bring again? They go, "No.". and and I have a girlfriend and I go, "Yeah, I'm not going." Because I've seen. the other Asians bring their spouses and. loved ones and girlfriends and. boyfriends, right? So, I'm like, "Oh,
I'm not see I have this resentment. It's. like, oh, I'm not, you know what I mean, considered. >> somebody that I could have a plus one?". >> I thought you guys got along really. well. >> What do you mean? >> I thought the Asian community like y'all. banded. >> If I saw If I saw Ali Wong, >> they fight in the streets. >> No, we don't fight in the streets. No, I. love What do you mean with like stars. and stuff? No. No. >> Chinese stars come out. [laughter]. >> It's a bamboo fight. >> It's a bamboo fight. If we were going to. fight, we do bamboo. But my point is is. this, okay? Is is that I love all of.
them. >> Yeah. >> You know, Daniel Kim has done my. podcast. Alli Wong and I are very close. Jamie and I are I mean, I'm friends with. all of them, right? But when it comes to. like. >> these kind of events and stuff, I'm I. feel like I'm treated like an animal. Okay. >> Yeah. I mean, like a dirty little. yellow. >> But you kind of been around the longest. >> Yeah. >> I feel like. >> one of the Yeah. I mean, you you. supposed to be one of THE OGS. >> I AM AN OG. >> They don't I'm sorry for yelling. >> They don't know. Yeah. >> They say, "No, you're not.".
>> They I I think that like I. >> They want They they are afraid of him. because he's too free. >> I'm too free. >> Too free. They want something a little. bit more tied up in a box that does all. the things that they need him to do. And. he doesn't do that. That's why they're. scared of him. Cuz he's going to say, >> "No, no, no, no, no, no. They're not. scared. They're not scared of anything. I'm the nicest guy in the world. Do I. hug?". >> You know what I mean? >> They're scared of what you'll do. >> I'm not going to do anything, dude. >> Tell them, not me. >> Yeah. I'm not going to do anything. Golden Gala. Good. >> I just want a plus one.
>> Cuz it then makes me feel like I'm a. part of it. That's all I'm asking. >> You know what I mean? I mean, are there. do you feel like there's elitism in in. the groups? >> Yeah, but I don't go anywhere. I don't. really care. So, >> Oh, you know, you know what? As I get. older, I don't care. I shouldn't have. said that. Yeah. I don't care. Don't. invite me. >> No, but I [laughter]. Yeah. Yeah. [ __ ] it. [ __ ] it. Golden. Yeah. Yeah. [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] it. [ __ ]. it. >> But I' I'm I've really never won, you. know, to be pretentious. I'm I'm not in. those rooms. That's not who I am. So why.
am I going to pretend like that to. pretend that they like me or pretend. that I like them? Hey, I admire what you. do. I respect what you do. Congratulations. But no, I just stay. home and I watch it on television or I. just go on about my business. Right. That's how I operate. >> Yeah. You're just like me. You're just. like Andrew. We have the same thing. It's like there Patrice O'Neal once told. me. >> Oh, yeah. >> You know, the man, right, Patrice, I was. in New York and I was complaining to him. about like um how I'm not working. You.
know what I mean? How, you know, they. choose all these other people ahead of. me. >> And he goes, "You're not that dog. Don't. you're just like me." He said, "Patrice," he goes, "You can't walk into. a Hollywood party, right, and pretend. that you're having a good time.". >> Right. >> I just don't have that ability, you. know? I shut down, right? I don't want. to be fake. >> Yes. >> You know, and I I just That's why I. don't attend these things. Like last. night, I went to that Larry David thing. >> And and and I try to force myself to. like go say hi. Yeah.
>> Or give a hug, right? But I just in my. heart, it's not that that I don't love. them. It's just like I don't want to. fake it. >> Right. Do you feel the same way? >> Well, I'm an outgoing introvert. I'm a. >> That's what I am. That's what I am. Yeah. >> And so people and I think the thing is. cuz people see the way you act on camera. and they think you're like that in real. life. And I'm really a shy person. I. just want to be home. >> I want to be with my dogs and just. >> You like to cuddle, right? >> Yeah. Just do my own thing. >> You don't like to cuddle? >> Uh, no. >> Okay. Club shy. Shy.
>> club. [laughter]. >> So, no. That's what So that's that's. that's that that's how I am. >> I just think you reach a certain age. >> Mhm. >> And you don't feel like. >> doing the thing anymore. >> Yes. >> You don't want to play the [ __ ] game. Like I want to I want to love you if. you're cool and I I respect you for what. you've done, but. >> I'm I don't want to [ __ ] pretend, especially for people, you know, don't. respect you or it's not. And and like I. said at at at my age now, I mean, who's.
who's getting friends now at our age? >> The friends that you got, you've already. had them. >> I'm not I'm not I'm not going to make. I'm not going to make in my next let's. just say for the sake of argument I live. another 10 15 years. I'm not going to. make five 10 I'm not going to make five. 10 years. >> You're going to live longer than 10 more. years. >> I'm just saying 40 years. >> Oh my god. >> You got a good 40 because with AI with. AI I think you're fine. I think you're. fine. I think you're fine. >> Shannon, who's the who's your name? Just. the first name. Your oldest friend in. the world. As fast as you can. Oldest. friend in the world.
>> Probably. >> Don't think about it. >> Bucket. >> Bucket. >> He's a year older than me. >> That's his name is Bucket. >> Yeah. My friend was um Pale. [laughter]. >> I hate that joke. >> Bucket. Pale. >> Pretty good. >> Wasn't bad. [laughter]. >> But we went to school. Went to college. together. >> Yeah. >> Burns. We played the NFL together. So 30. plus years. I mean, at this age, you're. not meeting because it's too hard to vet. them. >> Yeah. You don't want. >> It's too hard to vet. >> Too much to go through. Too much to go. through. Too much.
>> Yeah. So, and it's cool. Like I said, I. I the events I'm sure they're great, but. I'm not really a dress up and getting to. go. >> You look good now. >> You look good now. That outfit. >> Yeah. Look at that outfit. >> Huh? >> Yeah. What is that? Gucci. >> Uh. Louis Vuitton. Okay. >> Has it right on his sleeve? >> Okay. >> That's fancy. Wait, look. Wait. Can I. see the necklace? Look at the ice. I'm. going I'm going to you know I'm getting. ready for vacay. >> Oh your vacay. Where you going where you. going to go? You got time. >> to my home. >> To your home? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. None of our business. >> It's none of our business. >> Never going to tell us.
>> Yeah. Yeah. I mean I you know Shannon I. dream. >> I might go to Korea. >> Why? >> Vacation. >> Soul. skincare. >> Where would I go? Do they got nice. beaches in Korea? >> No. >> Beaches. >> Beaches. >> Where could I go there? Where could I. go? >> Well, there's Homo Hill. >> Oh, that's good. >> What about Hong Kong? There's a place. called Homo Hill in Korea. >> Why the hell would I go there? [laughter]. >> I'm just telling you. I'm not saying to. partake. You know what I mean? But it's. a nice place to visit. >> A nice place to visit.
>> It's a nice hill. [laughter]. >> All right. Okay. Okay. >> I go to Hong Kong. >> Okay. Go to Hong Kong. Go to Hong Kong. >> You know who has nice beaches? >> What? >> Um the Okinawan Islands in Japan. You. ever been down there? >> I have not. >> Go down there. >> Yeah. They have beautiful beaches. >> Get some raw denim. >> Okay. Hold on. I just Hold on. Who do we. have on? What's a uh CJ? What's the uh. the lady the rapper? >> Oh, uh. >> Aquafina. >> No, >> she Yeah, she was uh. >> Asian. >> Yeah, she's an Asian rapper and she's.

>> A witch. Like sandwich. But a. moan. >> She And does she rap in Japanese? >> No, she rap in America. You couldn't. tell. You could. raise the roof. [laughter]. If you heard her, if you heard her sing, you wouldn't know. Oh, and it's funny. how that works because you hear people. like they talk with an accent or a. dialect, but when they sing it saying, it sounds normal. >> It's like when British singers sing and. they sound like us. Yeah. How do you.
feel about Asian? How do you feel about. all How do you feel about non-black. rappers? >> Yeah. No problem with it. Hell, one of. the greatest of all time is him. >> Who? M. Eminem. >> Oh, Eminem. It never leaves. It never leaves. you. It's like riding a bike. >> It does leave. >> No, it doesn't leave. It doesn't. No, it. doesn't leave. Did football leave? >> Yeah, it left. >> Yeah. [laughter]. And my age is gone. >> Yeah, I I know. But if you played. football with people your age, you I. don't think it would leave. You know. what to do. >> That game would probably end zero. [laughter].
>> You can't. >> Ain't nobody running. Ain't nobody. catching. Everybody's shoulders are. hurt. >> Oh, okay. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. me time with Kevin Hart and Mark. Wahlberg. Andrew, what what what's it. like being on set because obviously Mark. is is, you know, he has great range, but. he can be funny when he needs to. And. everybody knows Kev. Kev is is. hilarious. >> Yeah, Kevin's a funny dude. Kevin would. if Kevin's funny to work with because. he'll let you say whatever you want to. him on camera. They're not going to put. it in the final cut, right? >> But he'll let you say whatever you want. to him. But he's a he is.
>> Kevin's the only guy I know that is. already thinking about the other project. while he's filming the one he's doing. right now. Yeah, >> he would leave after he works too hard. >> He works way too hard and we Yeah, you. work way too hard. >> Way too hard. Kev, you got to slow down. I don't know what he's I don't know. where is he going? >> No. Where is he? >> Why can't he? Where's he going? >> He wants to be A BILLIONAIRE. >> WHY? >> WHY? >> WHY? >> Why not? >> Why? What are you going to do? >> Yeah. What are you going to do with a. billion dollars? >> What are you going to do with it? >> Yeah. a lot more than what you could do. if you didn't have a billion dollar. >> No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
>> You don't need it. >> Leave live within your means. Here's the. thing. >> With a million, I mean, I got a lot of. means. I can live way over here and way. over there and everything. >> I I understand that. But Shann, imagine. your whole life, right, and watch this. >> This right here is a carrot. >> Yeah. And you're constantly and your. whole life and you're 80 and you're. still doing this. That's not living. >> It's not living. >> Right. Okay. >> You accept what you have and go, see, I'm being honest. If somebody called me. and goes, "You're out. You can't do it. anymore. It's over." I'd go, "Bye-bye.
[laughter]. Bye. Stay hydrated." You know what I mean? And I would literally leave. >> Really? >> Yeah. I I did a movie with Kevin and we. we shot it in Budapest. It's called. Borderlands. It's one of the worst. movies ever made. And my point is is. this. Okay. >> Very bad. They almost didn't release it. [laughter]. >> There you go. >> That's actually true. That's a true. story. >> No, but I love the I love everyone. involved in it. Right. But I remember. like I was having lunch. I had just. woken up. It was like 1:00, >> right? I woke up at 12:45.
>> And uh I saw Kevin. >> cuz he was in the movie. And I go, "What's up? You wake up?" He goes, "No, dog. I've been up for 4:00 a.m. >> Yeah. >> Workout meetings, you mean online. You have a whiteberry. >> My Amazon account, my Netflix accounts. are in my assistant's name. >> Wow. >> Wow. >> So, let me ask you, let me go back to. something real fast. You really think, and this isn't a. comment about Kevin, we love Kevin. Yeah. >> You really think though like grinding to. get to that B is worth it? Like. genuinely. [sighs]. >> for him?
>> No, not for him. For you. >> No, no, I No. I just I just want to be. comfortable. >> But you are comfortable. >> You are comfortable. >> So you just want to continue to be. comfortable. >> Yes. >> Cuz I think there's this misconception. and that like once you get it, you will. be. That's not true. I think that's a. good at every level. Yeah. >> Yeah. That's that's what So what we're. saying is on the broader sense. >> if you have that personality trait. >> Yeah. >> you got to have someone to go dude dude. dude. >> Yeah. >> Relax. >> But it's like. >> what are you going to do? What would you. do with how much [ __ ] can you get? >> I mean it's kind of like it's you know. it's easy.

Book us a ticket. >> Yeah, book us a ticket right now. We'll. take care of it. >> I got to go see if I I got to see if my. passport is updated. I. >> Oh, really? But you you can go anywhere. in the world. I'll bet my all my money. on it. >> 100%. Oh, let me say this. I Okay, I was. in Vegas for the NBA Cup.

I want to know what the. number is. How much do you think he's. betting? >> $500. >> $100 chips. You Jeff Bezos. [laughter]. >> Yeah. [ __ ] you, DUDE.
>> THAT'S MY POINT. WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH. IT? IT'S TOO MUCH. IT'S ABSURD. He can't. If you're. >> He would bankrupt He would He would. bankrupt the CASINO IF HE. >> THAT'S MY POINT. IT'S WORTHLESS. IT'S. ALL meaningless [ __ ] SO LIKE WHY GET. ALL THAT [ __ ] if you if it's half of the. joy of life. >> is working for something. >> So getting it is nothing. >> Working for it is fun. right on the desk. Yeah. Right. And I. go, "What happens if I stuck the alkal. saucer into my butthole?" And they go, "We don't know. We've never even thought. about that before. Let's try it." So I. took my pants, I stuck them in my. butthole, two of them, right? And it. foamed like a mad dog, >> right? And I tried to poop them out, right? And and they were half dissolved. Yeah. >> But following that were like a couple of. little like, you know, rabbit nuggets. Yeah. You right. Little rabbit nugget of. poop. And then as soon as I did that,
the executive producer walked in. >> So he saw you with your pants down. pooping in his. >> No, I had already pulled it up and we. were all laughing because we didn't know. that little nuggets coming out. >> The nugget part was the fun part. You. know what I mean? It's science. It's. really science if you think about it. >> Yeah. Yeah. It's experimental scientist. >> Experiment. >> Yeah. Yeah. So it's like So I did that. What? >> No, I should have asked it like that. >> No, I asked it like this and they said. this and then what would my. >> No, those are ruminating thoughts that. get rid of them. >> You know what they say? If you have one. foot in the past and you have one foot. in the future, you're pissing on today. >> Yeah. I I'm a firm believer there are. two days you could never do anything. about. That was yesterday and tomorrow. >> Yes. >> And I try to I try to live.

That I don't I don't know how. to do that. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> That part's hard. >> Is it true they tried to have you do a a. dog eating sketch on Mad Mad TV? [laughter]. >> Yeah, that is true. >> That is true.
>> That is a very I mean, they pitched it. to me. There was a guy. He pitched it to. me and I go I go, I can't do it. But. it's so funny. I didn't do the dogging. sense, but when I did curb your. enthusiasm, >> um there was an I did an episode called. the Korean bookie. I don't know what it. was called. >> A bookie, right? >> And Larry thought that I um ate Jeff. Garland's dog [laughter]. >> and I served it at a wedding. >> Yeah. >> So, it's like, you know, that's, you. know, that's a stereotype. that it is true. >> It is true partially.
>> It is true. And it's something that like. because I have three dogs at home. >> Yes. Yeah. How many dogs do you have? >> Well, two now. >> Yeah. No, I had four. >> No, I'm saying the one is up for dinner. tomorrow. Yeah, >> fourth are coming. So, >> yeah. So, Saturday I'll have two left. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> What type of dogs do you have? >> I know. They're just much, you know, I'm. a I do foster fails. >> Okay. >> One of them is a T-bone. The other one. is [laughter]. >> a porter house. Yeah. Yeah. >> Skirt stick there. [laughter].
>> He is a all jokes aside, he is a. hardcore animal lover. has a house. filled with animals. >> I have six animals, dude. >> You got dogs. >> What? Dogs got dogs? >> Three dogs. Three cats. >> What type of cats? >> I know. They're just I have one tabby. I. have one black and white one. I have one. white one. I don't know what they are. >> Good looking cats, though. >> They're good-looking cats, you know. I. get dogs get along. >> I get nou for them. >> You get nou for the every once do. >> feeds the animals. Nou. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> I thought they weren't supposed to get. human food. >> You know, you you can do a little. because of the mercury. >> Yeah. But I do a little bit for the cats.
for like, you know what I mean? You mean. once every other week maybe? >> Humans probably aren't supposed to eat. human food anymore. Who knows what. >> you're considering? Yeah. >> Are you scared of the future? >> I can't control it. So I don't I try not. to worry about what I can't control. >> Yeah. See, >> let it go. >> Shannon, I'm scared. >> about what? >> About AI and what it's going to do. And. >> you know what I mean? There's a super El. Nino coming. >> You know about that? >> You know about the Super El Nino? >> No, I've heard about the Super Elino. >> Don't tell them cuz it's that's too. much. No, but I'm just saying there's a.
lot of things politically it's scary. Yeah, there's a lot of things happening. concerned about. >> Yeah, there's a lot of things happening. You you get scared, my friend. >> For sure. >> Yeah. What how do what when you get. scared, call us. >> Yeah. >> Just call [clears throat] us. Yeah. >> We'll be scared together. >> We'll be scared as a group. >> I mean, there's no sense in three people. being scared. [laughter]. >> That's true. I [laughter]. I feel like Do you like us? >> Yes. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> I think this is going well. Oh, I think. it's going really well. >> Can I have some more water, please? >> Sure. >> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Thank you. I'd like some more. water, please. Thank you. >> You know, I had Jimmy Omim. and he said, you know what, the one. Asian stereotype that he hate is small. penis. >> Okay. >> Yeah, I we already talked about that. >> Is there is there an Asian stereotype. that you really hate? >> Well, I mean, >> cuz he's Chinese. You're Korean. >> I I think dog eating I hate. Yeah. You. mean I also hate We're not good drivers. >> Yeah. Although. >> we're not. >> He has wrecked the last three cars he's.
owned. >> Yeah. >> And that's true. >> True. >> He called me one day and goes, "Hey, I. want to wrap my car. Will you give me a. car guy cuz I like cars." I said, "I'll. wrap your car.". >> Yeah. >> What happened? >> We'll have more common sense. >> Okay. Okay. >> Oh, there. Grab him that. >> Yeah. No, it's No, it's okay. I got. this. >> He's going to give it to you. >> Yeah. There's no label on there. >> Okay. I like your clothing. >> I appreciate it. [laughter]. >> So, he said he said, "I got a new car. Can you help me wrap my car?" I said, "Sure." Well, Friday I hit remember. >> I know. >> So, I was at the comedy store. >> Yeah. >> And I did a I um was backing I thought I.
was going forward, >> but I was going backwards. >> Reverse and drive. R&D are pretty close. >> Yeah, they're close, right? So, I I. wanted right next to each other, but. >> I wanted to pull out, right, but I. backed and I backed into a comedian's. car and I crashed it. >> Yeah. >> And I just drove away. >> Park all. >> I didn't stop reverse. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Drive. >> Yeah. crashed into a car in the parking. lot of the comedy store and I just drove. away. You drove away. >> I didn't stop. >> You didn't You didn't put a note there. >> No, no, no, no, no, no. You don't do.
notes. No, no. You try to get away with. it. >> Yeah. But then I got that night I got a. call saying we have the tape. >> He got caught. >> I got caught. >> And that happened. >> Yeah. So, in that way, I'm not a good. driver, right? >> But look at uh Tokyo Drift, Fast and. Furious. >> Yeah. >> They're very good at it in that movie. >> Yeah. But I don't Were Were any of those. Korean? >> What? or any of those people in Tokyo. >> Oh yeah. Oh yeah. >> Yeah. S Kang Sun. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> S Kang is my homie and he's Korean, my. friend. >> He's very Korean. >> Oh yeah. >> Yeah.
>> He's got a long. >> Sorry. It's like a It's like a movie. >> But he was what you call him? He was the. one that was dating Gal Gdat, right? >> I don't I don't know about that. Is that. true? Oh. Oh. In the movie. >> In the movie. >> Oh, the movie. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Not Not. in real life. >> Not in real life. Gado. >> Galado. Galado. Galado. >> Galado. Galado. Galad Doll. >> Yeah. And you say every time she. appears. >> She appears and Gwen the Pra. >> Yeah. Yeah. They all appear when you say. [laughter]. >> Andrew, you got your start on Punk.
>> Yeah. I started on Punked back in the. day. Yeah, you did. >> Ashton Kutcher's show. >> Yeah. >> Wild. Yeah. >> Writing bits. >> uh to make celebrities feel bad about. themselves. >> Cuz you know, a lot of people they don't. like once you get to that level, they. don't like being played with. They don't. like getting pumped. Some people didn't. like it, but some people loved it. >> Did you get Did you ever get threatened? [sighs]. >> I remember they got Shaq. Shaq was. really trying to get somebody. >> Yeah, some people got really mad. We had. a few people. We had one person that.
legally we that got very mad at us who. sued us and we had to sign a bunch of. stuff because she. >> You couldn't release it? >> No. No. >> Cuz in order for in order for in order. for you to in order for it to be seen. it, they have to sign a waiver to say. it's going to be released. >> Yeah, that's right. Nine times out of. 10, everyone's down with it. Especially. because the person punking them was. usually a friend of theirs, right? >> But but this girl, >> um, >> who was it? >> She felt caught off guard. >> I don't know if we can legally say I. don't know if legally.
>> You signed a waiver. I don't know if you. can say it. >> Can you whisper in my ear? >> No. >> Okay, tell me later. No, I will. I will. tell you later. >> Cuz what's going to happen? He said on. here, then I won't get in trouble. [laughter]. >> I don't I don't want Yeah, I don't want. anybody. >> Yeah, but you can bleep it. No. People. like, "Well, well, I heard they go like, "Well, I heard him and he said it.". >> Yeah. Yeah. >> The problem is Yeah. So, we had the the. best bit we ever ran. >> Yeah. >> Was Justin Bieber wanted to get um. Taylor Swift.
>> Yes. >> And he lied to her and said he had just. came back from overseas and they had the. best fireworks in the world. And we. rented a house in Malibu on the water. cuz we knew it had to be extravagant for. her to like show up. So, we said, "Oh, we rented a house with a studio. let's. record music on the water. >> And Taylor Swift came over. >> and Bieber and her were like listening. to music and he said, "Hey, check out. these fireworks." And we set fireworks. off the deck of Malibu over the ocean. and out on the ocean. We had a boat with.
a wedding on it. >> I was the groom. >> Right. >> And one of the fireworks we we strung a. line to make it look like it hit. >> Yes. >> So we made it look like it hit the boat. and set it on fire [laughter]. >> and we had to swim to shore, you know, in a dinghy and then swim to shore. and. the groom and so she ruined my wedding. and she bought every single second of. it. There wasn't a moment she was one of. the only ones where it was so. >> she was so deep in it she thought she. ruined a wedding. I mean think about. Taylor Swift and her brand ruining a. wedding. We were like what's a what's.
the worst scenario in her mind. >> right? >> Yeah. >> And I was like you ruined my wedding. Swift. You ruined my whole life. >> And she was. >> Was she crying? >> Oh dude, she was insane. >> Oh my god. >> It was awful. >> She's like what can I do to make it up? >> Yeah. >> Money. money. I said, "Buy me a new boat. and a new wedding." No, it was but that. was like the biggest bit we ever ran on. that show, moneywise and expense-wise. But she was fun cuz afterwards Justin. was in on it. But the problem with that. show was. >> if the pie was on your face as a.
celebrity, it looked bad. If it was on. our face, it's fine. Unless they took it. really well, right? >> So the the the turn happened at some. point when we would say, >> "Look what it used to punk used to be, look what you did, right?" Then it was, "Look what I did. Can you help?" Yes, >> that was the switch because people. started to be vulnerable. When you go, you screwed up. >> You can only yell at someone you messed. up so much. It's not funny anymore. >> Right. >> But if you say, "Look what I did. You. know, my penis is caught in this door. hinge," which is a bit we tried. It. didn't work. [laughter].
>> Yeah. Yeah. >> That didn't work. But then it's like, "Can you help me get my penis out of the. door?". >> Which is, you know. >> So, are you invited to Taylor Swift's. wedding? >> Am I what? >> You invited to the wedding? Uh, I'm a. bridesmaid. >> No, he is invited. >> He is invited. >> But you're close. You know Tra, right? >> Yeah, they're very good. >> I know Travis very well. Yeah. Yeah, I. love Travis. Yeah, I am going to go. Yeah. Going to go. >> Are you there? >> I'm not supposed to be. I'm not. I can't. tell. >> You Wait a minute. >> WAIT, WAIT, WAIT. YOU CAN'T ASK HIM AND. THEN YOU GET. >> YEAH, THAT'S NOT FAIR. >> WHAT THE [ __ ] is going on?
>> That's not fair. Also, not only is that. not fair, this is going to come out. after it's already happened, so it. doesn't matter. So, you're going, so. I'll see you there. >> Yeah, we'll see you there potentially. I'm not going. But is he not going? >> Why are you being. >> I don't know. I have never. >> He asked me on camera. I had to say yes. >> Yeah, but this is gonna be over by the. time we Yeah. You're gonna go. I'm gonna. go. I'll see you there. I Travis is a. >> I don't want to fight with Andrew, but. he I don't know. >> He's going to start it. >> I'm going to start a war. >> You going to the You going to the. bachelor party? It's going to be lit, huh? >> We're not going to say anything. >> Yeah, but he likes to hang out with, you.
know, he likes to You know what I mean? >> This is an inside bit. Shannon's not. going to get it unless people watch the. show. There's a photo of Andrew and. Taylor Swift and and apparently Taylor. Swift says something very funny because. in the photo Andrew's going. [laughter]. like like he's laughing and I'm like, you know, the best comedians on planet. Earth, right? >> What could Taylor Swift say that's so. funny? >> Do you want me to tell you the joke that. Taylor Swift told me? >> Yeah, tell me the joke.
>> I'll tell you the joke. You want to hear. the joke? This is the joke. [laughter]. No. >> Yeah. >> She said, >> "What was it though?". >> I don't remember. >> Yeah. But here's the thing. When you're. around like people that are like, you. know what I mean, high up, you know what. I mean? You start like they'll say. something that other people are laughing. at and you'll just laugh even though it. wasn't funny. >> Show the photo on the show. It's not. that. It's I'm not laughing at her. I'm. just smiling looking away. >> Yeah. But here's the joke that I told.
her that made her laugh. They didn't. capture that. said, uh um uh a guy runs. into an old friend, >> right? >> And he says, "Uh, hey, I'm I'm I'm. dating twins now." And his friend says, "Oo, twins? That's really hot." He goes, "How do you tell them apart?" And he. goes, "It's really easy." Okay. Natalie. paints her fingernails purple, right? >> And Mark has a [ __ ]. [laughter]. >> What do you think of Bobby? >> No, I got it. [laughter].
No, you're wrong. >> She said that she said that to you. >> No, dude. [laughter]. >> Pineapple Express. >> Pineapple Express. >> Pineapple Express. >> What do you mean? >> I had one line. What the [ __ ] do you. mean? >> I had one line. >> But you get to smoke though. >> I got to smoke. >> Yeah. Didn't you get to smoke? >> I didn't smoke. >> Weed. >> You smoke? >> No. No. No. I was sober then. >> You sober. I go in and out of sobriety.
So I have five years of sobriety now. And that was when I was so old. >> We got to get to 10. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> Yeah. But well, here's that movie. Me. and Ken Jung. >> Yeah. >> Fancy. Fancy Korean, you know. >> Very fancy. >> Yeah. >> But anyway, him and I um had a whole. storyline in that movie. And it's one of. those situations. Shannon, don't look at. your notes. >> I'm listening. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Go ahead. >> Please don't look at your notes. >> Okay. >> Okay. Can you look at your notes? It's Are you. nervous? >> No, I'm nervous.
>> Prep for the show. >> Yeah. Go ahead. I'm listening. Go ahead. >> I'm working on the show that you're on. >> Yeah. I want to lock eyes with you, bud. [laughter]. >> Go ahead. >> Ken Jung and I had a whole little story. line. >> Okay. >> And they cut it all out. So, at the end, I have like. >> Why did they cut all your scenes out? I. >> I don't They like the last night at the. Larry David thing, I I did a sketch. Yeah. for his new HBO show and they cut. it out. [clears throat]. >> I get cut out a lot. >> Pretty pretty cutable. >> Yeah. Yeah. Am I a bad actor? Yeah, [laughter]. >> that was quick. Very concise.
>> No, you know what? >> Yeah. You get cut. >> We get cut. I get cut on. >> You get cut. We get cut, man. >> Does it get frustrating? >> No. No. It doesn't matter. >> because you know what Larry did? >> What? >> Last week he. >> He promised you. >> No, he called me personally. >> Yes. >> He goes, "Bobby, thank you for doing my. show. It just it isn't strong in the. sketch, and I I just can't. It's not in. the show, but I wanted to personally. say, "Thank you so much for doing it. I'll look out for you in the future.".
Right. Right. >> And I went to the premiere last night. Normally, if he had if he didn't make. that call, but because it was so. respectful and Right. And and that never. happens in show business. >> Never. >> When you get caught, they don't even. call you. >> You don't know. >> You just show up and you watch it. You're like, "Oh, I got. >> Where's my scene? You working for your. scene?". >> Yeah. Yeah. But he respectfully. respectfully called me. >> And then that's And he doesn't have to. do that. >> No. >> But I I cried when he called me. >> Wow. >> Because I'm like, what a respectful.
person. I showed up. I supported the. show and I'm like, you know what? I get. it. You know, but it's like, you know, I'll tell you this, an old story, if I. may say. >> Yeah. >> All right. I was a doorman at the comedy. store in probably 1996. >> Really? >> Why would I lie? a door man. >> We call them door guys. They're like the. the comics that are working at the club. that do. >> so they have to do a lot of things. >> We check IDs, you know what I mean? We're just Yeah. Yeah. Cuz I had Cam. Patterson on. He said that the same.
thing. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> You know, that episode was good. You Cam. Patterson said to Tucker Carlson. >> Yeah. >> I've said the same exact thing. [laughter]. >> Verbatim. >> Verbatim. Yeah. Yeah. >> Word for word. >> So, I I'll tell you my story. >> He kind of made a He kind of He's kind. of flipping though. is kind of getting. on your good side now, right? >> Who? >> Car uh Tucker. >> Oh, I have no idea. I don't I'm I was. making a joke. But also, >> what do you mean by that? >> He's Oh, he's You mean you like him now?
>> I I think I think people are starting to. come around because he's starting to. >> We have We're having dinner with him. tonight. >> Yeah. >> Tonight. >> I'm kidding. >> Yeah, we're kidding. I mean, [laughter]. I I I think that it's interesting. Megan. Kelly, Candace Tucker, and also um. Marjorie Taylor Green. They're switching. because they can see the political. shift, >> right? They're. >> trying to be ahead of it. >> They want to get ahead of it, and I get. it. You know what I mean? But can I tell. my story now? >> Yeah, go ahead. [laughter]. >> Carlos, can I have my phone? >> Yeah. Yeah. So, I was a doorman at the. comedy store, and yes, we have doorman.
We check IDs. >> We do everything. >> We do. Yeah. In 1997ish. >> Yeah. Go ahead. Carlos. Um, is that a lot? Can you look. at me? >> Yes. >> Jeez, this guy. >> What is going on here? Right. In 97, right, I was a dormman there and George. Carlin came in. >> Wow. >> And I was just in my Comedy Store. t-shirt sitting there. >> You didn't check his ID, DID YOU? >> NO, OF COURSE NOT. I KNOW GEORGE CARLIN. >> YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO CHECK ID. NOBODY DID. SEE ME. >> I KNOW, BUT YOU KNOW WHO HE IS, RIGHT?
He could have farted in my face. I go, "Fuck." All right. That's George. He's a. legend at the time, right? And he goes, "Um, what's your name?" And I'm like. just a door man. I've never done. anything in my life. I was an open. micer. And I go, "I'm my name's Bobby. Lee. I just started doing comedy." And. he's like, "Nice to meet you." And he. walked in the club. A year later, I was. still working the door. He walks past me. and he goes, "Good evening, Mr. Lee.". And he remembered my name. >> Wow. And and when Larry called me last. week, >> that was old school gentleman show.
business. >> respect. And that's what I resp that's a. little thing the little magic that's. been lost that's lost. >> in in in our our business is that old. school you mean respect. >> and um I miss it you know. >> it's not about ego it's not about like. status it's about being respectful. >> is that the where the shift is is that. nobody has that like now once people.
reach a certain level they don't really. have time to deal with someone now, maybe someone working at that door now. and they became what George Carlin is or. was. They're like, they're not going to. remember that guy's name. >> No, no, no, no. We still have no young. guys still have respect for the older. generation. I just think like what's. happened now is the game has changed. >> Like the game is very different for. young guys. Like. >> for us, you had to get on Conan at.
tonight show late, right? You had to get. that and then you had to get a you had. to get a special on Comedy Central or on. HBO cuz Netflix wasn't around. >> Um and and so it was like the the. windows were small. >> Yes. >> And now the house is blown up. >> So these guy young guys have to just. kind of get in where they fit in. >> So they're all scrambling to try to. figure it out. So there's. >> there's no clear path for them. There's. no clear traditional path for them. We. had a back in the day we had a clear. tradition. Well, a little bit more of a.
clear. >> because the biggest thing was. >> you got five minutes or you got two. minutes on Carson. >> and if he invited you to the couch you. were made. >> So I just you were going to be a. superstar if Johnny Carson invited you. to the. >> Yes. See you later. You're that's it. You're done. You're good for. >> So I did I did Leno in 2000. >> Okay. Bobby Lee. >> You know what I mean? And um. >> can't drive. >> Here's here's another old school thing, right? I have never done TV before. I'm. scared shitless. Right. He came into my.
room and talked to me for 30 minutes. about the old days of a comedy store. because he knew I was a comedy store. come, right? And then I did my set and. he called me over the couch and it's one. of my highlights of my life. You know. what I mean? Because it was pure. respect. >> He's a comics like he he still does. stand up. >> He still does stand up at the comics. >> at the comic store with us. >> He always says hi. He's respectful and. he and younger comics Shannon if I'm. sorry for pointing. >> Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We're. focused. We're We're connected. We're. connected. Okay.
>> Um I try to memorize people's names and. say hello and how how are you doing and. you know what I mean and this and this. and that because. >> Yeah. And because we don't want to be, you know, living in our ego and all. that. >> At the end of the day, right, we're just. human beings getting through this thing. >> We're just figuring out. >> whether or not we should get in the pool. that [screaming]. we're just trying to decide if we. should. But you do realize now with. social media, you see so many guys using. social media. They do sketches, they do.
skits, they do things of that nature. And that's kind of that's kind of their. open door now to now all of a sudden. they have a following because now guys. are get guys are coming into the thing. They got three four five million. And I. get it. And you know, and Quake was. like, "Okay, that you those skits are. fine. Can you tell the jokes?". >> I know. But but who said that. earthquake? >> Quake. >> Yeah. But here, but here's the problem. is like Quake is an old school comic, right? >> Oh, >> yeah. And well respected, >> but like [clears throat]. >> you have to understand that the young.
generation. >> can't make it the way he made it, right? >> Right. Okay. So, you can't be mad at. those guys for making like that. Like. some people talk [ __ ] about Matt Refe. You know who that is? >> I do. I had him on. >> Okay. Because he does cuz he does crowd. work. Yes. He's great at it. Mojo Brooks. is another that does great crowd work. >> So, who [ __ ] cares how you made it? He made it on his accord. That's for his. audience and people like it. So when. people go that's not the way you should. make it, that's [ __ ] However you. make it is how you make it. So So. there's no there.
>> there is no. >> doctors go to med school. >> Yes. >> We don't there is no we have to figure. it out. >> Yes. >> So you just go and however way you get. there, God bless. Good. Good for getting. there. >> We're we're we're we're. >> we're more popular now than we've ever. been because of podcasting. Yeah. So. people could say, "Oh, you you guys blew. up in your second half of your career. because of podcasting. Who gives a. shit?" Well, who cares? As long as. people want to watch us and have fun. I. don't care. I. >> And we're very lucky because we did we.
got to do both, >> right? >> Yeah. We did. >> We We got to do old school like I'm in a. movie. I'm a serious regular on a TV. show. >> I got cut out of a movie. I got I got. [laughter] I got one season of a TV. show. >> Yeah. Yeah. And then right when the. internet, you know, I mean, happened, right? We adapted and we were like, "Okay, this is we, you know, and we did. we got to do this, you know. >> I'm going to say this. I'm not going to. do like a cheap transition, but I'm but. I'm This pertains to what we're saying, >> right? >> When we shot this Bad Game Show thing. that we're talking about.". >> Yes. Good segue.
>> No, I'm serious. I'm being serious. Brilliant. >> Okay. So, Bob and I started Bad Friends. six years ago and almost seven. And when. we shot the Bad Game Show, he looked at. me and he said, "This is the most fun. I've had since we started the podcast.". So, we started our own show outside of. the podcast, like a shitty, fun, dumb. game show. >> that we funded ourselves. >> And he said it was the most fun I've. ever had. >> It was so fun. >> And and and it reminded me of like why. we do all the [ __ ]. >> Why you do YouTube?
>> Yeah. Because it was fun. Again, >> there's no there's no notes. >> Nobody says no. There's there's not a. stiff white dude in a time like a long. background. >> Excuse me. You can't say that. >> Yeah, right. You know what I mean? >> Fellas. >> Yeah, fellas. >> We can. >> too edgy. You know what I mean? We get. to edit our own thing. We can be as free. as we want and then this is the perfect. situation and that's why we're this is. the direction that we we've gone in. You. know, be free. >> It led us to be it led us back to the. original reason we got into comedy in.
the first place was to have fun. >> Yeah. and and make [ __ ] for people that. want to see it where for a long time you. were kind of restricted. There was a. little bit of like a [snorts] don't. but now it's like well we're just going. to do it and so we just did it. >> How big has a of a blessing has the. internet blessing or curse do you think. the internet has been because it's. because it's it's it's been I mean it's. called it's blown people up. I mean a.
lot of times we we I we never known this. person people had it not been for the. internet. >> Sure. >> And then sometimes and sometimes. >> I think that's great. >> Okay. >> Like if the. >> when someone says that person got famous. >> on the internet they suck. >> Obviously people like them. >> Yes. >> So you may not like them. >> Correct. >> Who gives a [ __ ] I like that. It's such. a weird false sense of like we should. all agree on who we like. No. You like. [ __ ] I like. You like music I don't. like. It's like the gatekeepers before I. was talking about, right? The eight of.
them, right? It's like, you know what I. mean? It's their sensibilities that are. bringing these people in, right? But. that doesn't necessarily mean America or. the world, you know, I mean, thinks that. they're the guy, right? So, it's like we. you get to bypass that system and. everyone gets to get out there, right? And then let the audience decide. >> Yeah. Let them decide who they want. >> I don't think I don't think, you know, I. don't think this is what they're going. You don't get to decide that. the. audience. >> I got five I got 10, 15, 20 million. followers. They like me.

But but Pete was Pete was a. young malleable kid who lost his dad in. 911, >> right? Yeah. >> Okay. My dad was in prison as a kid and. I was a weird looking redheaded guy. I. My story wasn't as strong, >> right? >> You know, prison dad isn't as cool as. dead dad. >> 911. >> Yeah. If you're going toe to toe on. >> better origin story. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. If you DC or Marvel, you're going.

And I apologize. >> It's fine. [laughter]. >> It's been a long time. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> Anyway, Oh, yeah. really go to. So I. grew up in that kind of family, right? So I started be I became an alcoholic at. 11 12 years old. >> Wow. >> Right. So then I and I also this is.
during the 80s now, right? And it's like. you know when you reach for when you're. 14 puberty and you know and whatnot, right? And it's like. >> the smells. [laughter]. what it smell like. >> He started smoking crack. He started. doing math. >> No, I didn't I didn't do crack. I did I. I I would smoke meth. >> Yeah. >> And snort math. And I would also drink a. lot. You do realize meth isn't much. better than crack, right? >> Thank you. >> Yeah, I didn't know that. At the. >> He tries to like make it a. >> hierarchy. [laughter]. I snorted meth. >> Yeah, >> he smoked meth. >> He smoked pot. He did pills. METH.
DRINKING. >> WELL, DAMN, BOBBY. >> YEAH. YEAH. YEAH. I DID ALL THAT. RIGHT. I went to my many rehabs in high school. >> Okay. >> All right. So, I would be methed out. drunk, right? And a guy would be like, "Hey, you want to suck my You know, and. I'd be so out of it. I'd be like, [clears throat] I guess.". >> Yeah. But let's move on. Let's move on. >> No. No. I think I I THINK I JUST I I. THINK I LOST THIS CASE. I THINK I LOST. THIS CASE, GUYS. >> YEAH. YEAH. YEAH. I'm gay. >> I don't know. >> I'm gay. I'm gay. I think. >> I am. I mean, I would probably have to.
be at Guantanamo Bay with the CIA to. beat that up out of me. [laughter]. >> I don't know. >> Yeah. Yeah. Andrew, I don't think you'd. ever show shared that story. >> No, no, no. No. I'd go I I' that'd go to. my grave. >> Yeah. I mean, >> but I've never been put in that. predicament. >> Yeah. You've never been put put in that. >> And even if I was, I still wouldn't do. it. >> Yeah. The answer is still no. >> I've been pretty drunk. And. >> as a matter of fact, Pow. >> No. Pow. Yeah. Pow. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I pouted his penis. >> Oh, Lord. [laughter].
>> So, what we learned is. >> Yeah. You. >> I'm not by, dude. That's ridiculous. >> No, it's not. NO. WHAT'S RIDICULOUS? SAYING YOU'RE NOT AND JUST TELLING THAT. STORY. >> All right. I've seen Heated Rivalry. three years in a three times in a row. All the way through. I love that show. >> Hockey show. Do you know about this? >> No. It's a hockey show where two guys. are in love. It's on Netflix. >> Yeah. And I watch it. I don't get a. boner. >> He loves it. >> Let's let him get back. >> So, I guess your favorite movie is. Brokeback Mountain. >> Oh, yeah. >> I don't get a boner. I've said it 30. times. >> He loves it.
>> Anyway, >> that being said, I I do love the bird. cage. There are. some movies are great. Yeah, I apologize. for saying that. You know what I mean? I. I I I I still believe that I'm. heterosexual. I I just let me finish. Okay, that's. fine. And and I I revealed some. information that when I was in high. school, there was a couple of accidental. slips in. >> How you If you trip, >> you don't you don't accidentally put a. dick in your mouth. >> Yeah. NOBODY ACCIDENTALLY PUT YEAH.
THAT'S INTENTIONAL. >> Sometimes you trip. >> That no tripping. Yeah. Yeah. YEAH. >> THAT'S INTENTIONAL. >> WO. YEAH. YEAH. NO, I'M A STUMBLING. FOOL. NO. >> YEAH. You know I'm a stumbling fool. >> When you fall, you put your hands out. You don't put your mouth open. >> No, THAT'S NOT HOW KOREANS FALL. >> YEAH. YEAH. >> YEAH. YEAH. That's how we fall. Yeah. >> So, did you watch The Crying Gang? >> Yes. [laughter] That's how The Crying. Gang. Yeah. Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. He takes showers. >> Yeah. I watch all movies. My point being. is is that I've ever since that time, I've never done anything like that.
>> I should hope not. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It would be. okay. I know. I did too. >> Oh, yeah. Let's not talk about the. second one. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Let's just. move on. Yeah. >> Yeah. Talk us about something else. Economics. What do you want to talk. about? >> Andrew uh Disney uh allegedly made you. change a joke. Is that Is that common? >> Oh, now you're opening up a a can of. worms here, baby. >> Yeah. I don't care. Doesn't matter to. me. Um I'm looking at that guy. That's. so funny. Yeah. You know, I did a.
special Bobby has a great special coming. out on Hulu. >> Yes. >> I did a special with Hulu. >> Disney owns Hulu. >> Correct. >> I did a Disney joke about Disney adults. in my special and they wanted me to take. it out and they negotiated me taking it. out. >> Uh because they said it was, you know, they didn't like the the light that it. shed cuz I think Disney adults are weird. people. Yes. >> And they didn't like that. Okay. >> Don't you find them those people weird. people? I really didn't have to deal. with a whole lot of people.
>> like Lindsey Graham going to the Disney. World by himself doing. >> find that strange. >> Yeah, I do. Yeah, that's very strange. Eating by himself. >> Do you have children? I do. >> If you have children, take your children. to Disney World. If you don't have. children, what are you doing at Disney. World? >> No. >> What are you doing at Disney World? >> Yeah. Or land. Or the land. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> But so my joke was about it was a joke. about adults who go to Disney World and. I was inferring that they're up to no. good cuz why are you there without kids? >> Right. And I the joke was I said. >> if you're an adult and you go to.
Disneyland, there should be two lines. It should be you're you're an adult with. kids, come on in. >> You're an adult without kids, go right. to jail. We have to lock you up. What. are you doing there? That was the idea. They didn't like it. It was a plug of. another joke and they. >> hated it and they made me pull it out. cuz they didn't like the way that it. made them look. Right. >> But it's a joke, right? >> But also, >> I [snorts] do think it's weird if you go. without kids. >> Yeah. I'm going to That's a What do you. mean? >> I think most people would. >> Yeah, it's a But also, it's a comedy.
special. It was a joke. So, yeah, they. made me pull it out and uh it was a big. point of contention. It sucked. I was. bummed about it, but this is that's a. part of the censored world. And then. they didn't want me to talk about it. >> You're talking You're talking about it. now. >> I don't give a [ __ ] They didn't want me. to talk about it after they told me not. to talk about it. Isn't that strange? >> Yeah. >> To be like, >> I love Disney. >> Yeah. >> Okay. [laughter] Okay. My special's. coming out. I love this. >> I don't But you got a special I go I go. to Disneyland. >> Here's my problem. I enjoyed working.
with the people I worked with. They were. great. >> But the censorship part was weird. because it was like you said you wanted. to get into comedy specials. >> Yeah. >> Then I said a joke about you guys and. you were mad about it. But I said other. [ __ ] up [ __ ] that you weren't mad. about. Right. >> But it was about you. So then then it's. not okay. M isn't that. >> isn't that bad and hypocritical of. saying like say whatever it's a comedy. special we want comedy to be free but. then they didn't because then when I. said what was an obvious joke that.
wasn't even that offensive about Disney. stuff. >> they got mad and they were like you got. to get that out well that's [ __ ]. that's just flatout [ __ ] and I'm and. I'm not mad at those guys I don't have I. don't hate them I just think that was a. bummer because if you wanted to work. with comics like you Yeah, you do. Which. goes back to what we were talking about. >> I love Hulu. >> Then let it go free. [laughter]. >> It's the best company. Really? >> Let it go free to be honest with you. >> Let it go free. If you're wanting to. play the play with us, then play with. us,
>> right? Yeah. >> Which which you know, >> whatever. But yeah, that was sucked. >> That sucks. Suck. >> It really sucks. >> Anyway, go watch White Noise. It's still. on. >> It's still on Hulu. It's a good. >> until they take it off because of this. [laughter]. >> Yeah, you're going to be fine. You're. going to be fine. You're. >> Until the Bible IS LIKE, "OH, WE GOT TO. GET THIS off the channel." Yeah. [clears throat]. >> I can't believe he's saying that. >> When I when I farted earlier, I think I. pooed a little bit, but it's fine. We'll. move on. Gross. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. You're going to ask me something. >> Is it true that Joe Rogan called you and. told you Carlos Mensia stole your joke?
>> Oh, wild. >> Isn't he in what you call him? He is in. the rules like for tax evasion. Not. >> He just got out of jail like today. >> Today? >> No, yesterday. >> Yesterday he got released. Yeah. Tax. evasion. >> You're bringing up I love it. I love. what you're doing. But I've heard that. >> Yeah. Yeah. I love it. I LOVE IT. [laughter]. I LOVE IT. I LOVE IT. And I'm going to. go with it, Shannon. Right. >> You got it. Huh? Yeah. I like it. So, excuse me. Um, what was the question? >> It's reported that uh.
>> No, this is what happened. >> Okay. >> Okay. [laughter]. This is what happened. [laughter]. >> This is what happened. Okay. So there's. two people that discovered me back in. the day. >> Yeah. >> It was Paulie Shore. >> Yeah. >> And Carlos Mensia. >> Okay. >> When I was an open I was a San Diego. open micer. >> And they did the comedy store in San. Diego. They saw me do 5 minutes. >> and they went we like this kid and I I. started opening for them.
>> Obviously Paulie Shor's mom owned the. comedy store, right? So that helped me. get into the comedy store. But Mensia um. you know I mean took me on the road and. taught me so much about comedy, >> right? >> This question of like stealing jokes and. this and that, right? Um. yeah, you know, >> he stole a joke, >> lack of a better word. >> Here here's. >> he borrowed it. >> No, no, no. Here's what he's the master. of. >> Right. >> Right. >> He's the master of taking a premise,
right, changing it and making it better. Uh-huh. >> It's like, you know how we invent? What. are you doing? >> I was texting Peyton Manning. >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. It's like. >> I told him I'm with you. >> It's how, you know, how America like. invents something and then China makes. it better. >> Yes. >> Like we invented the car, but China's. like. and they made it better. Right. Right. So, what I'm saying is is that that's. what he did. Right. He would look at. some comics premise, right? Do one.
punchite and he would extend it to five. minutes. Right. And he was a incredible. performer. >> Yes. >> Okay. So he gave me my start. >> Right. >> Right. >> And he also I I I I have to say this. because there's a lot of bad talking. about Mensia. Yes. >> Which I mean to me. >> he paid for my electricity bill as a. young guy. >> How much was that? You think? A couple. hundred a month. >> Yeah. And he bought me a car. >> What kind? >> I didn't have a car. >> It was like a Civic or whatever. You. know what I mean? But my point is is. that who does that? >> And I was his opener, right? So he did a.
lot for me. You got to be careful buying. men cars though. >> Oh my hell. >> Just saying. >> Yeah. Yeah. Anyway, he helped me out a. lot. >> If it's not a family, >> there's two things I don't do. Suck dick. and buy cars. [laughter]. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come. on. Come on. Come on. Come on, [laughter] man. Yo. Yo. Yo. Come on, man. Come on, man. >> Here. So, here's what happened. Okay. A.
guy that you just met bought you a car. >> No, I was opening for years. >> Hey, let me buy you a car. [laughter]. >> Okay. >> And you and you accepted it? >> Yeah, I accepted the car. >> Yeah. Yeah. Anyway, anyway, listen. So, so you know you know comics didn't like. him because of his behavior, right? Yeah. >> Especially Joe Rogan. Yes. Right. I was. friends with Joe as well. >> Yes. >> Right. So Joe asked me, right? He had a.
cameraman, which I didn't see. And he. was filming me. I didn't see the camera. And Joe asked me, you know, does men see. steal jokes? And I made a joke of it, but I kind of admitted that he did. But. then I turned, I saw that was being. taped. They put that [ __ ] out on the. internet. >> And I started getting roasted. >> on the internet, right? >> Cuz you because uh Mania was taking you. out on the road, gave you an. opportunity, and here you are kind they. look is looking at like you turned your. back on. >> I I turned my back on him. And then this. is what happened, right? Mind of Mensia,
right? He had a TV show on Comedy. Central called Mind of Mensia and Mad TV. were on the same lot. They were. connected. >> Wow. >> Right. So when that popped off, I was in. my [ __ ] dressing room, >> right? >> And you know, Carlos's, you know what I. mean? Family members knocked on my. dressing room door. They go, "Yo, that's. not cool." And I go, "I know. I know. I. didn't know they were t, you And he's. like, "You have to do a rebuttal video. saying that he didn't." So then they. took me outside and they filled me.
saying, "Yeah, he doesn't, you know, this and that.". That goes on the I get roasted EVEN. MORE. RIGHT. [laughter]. SO NOW I'M ROASTED TWICE OVER A. SITUATION THAT HAD NOTHING to do with. Right. >> Right. So it was a really bad time for. me, >> Shannon. >> Yes. I can imagine. >> Yeah. Yeah. So you I I got caught, you. know, but I didn't do anything wrong. >> Right. You know, are you you are you and. men are cool today? [snorts]. >> Um I love him. Um.
>> is a yes or no? >> No. Don't don't [laughter]. >> No. NO. WAIT. >> THE MAN. >> NO. SHANNON, you're the man. Right. I. like this. I love being caught in a. corner. All right. >> Like it's a yes or no. >> I'll be honest with you. >> Stop trying to weasel your way out. >> No. >> I There's a little bit of guilt. >> Yeah. What do you feel guilty for? >> Bobby accepting the car. Bobby was the. one that stole the jokes. >> Yeah. [laughter]. >> You feel guilty accepting the car.
>> No, no, no. No. I mean, there's a little. bit of guilt there because I kind of had. to detach from him for my own career. sake, >> right? >> You know, and that felt. >> terrible to do because I was caught in a. difficult situation. And so, what do you. do in that situ? It was an unwinable. situation. >> Yeah. And Joe Rogan was on the rise. You. know what I mean? And it was like, you. know, >> so Joe and Carlos don't like each other. >> Oh my god. >> No. >> They hate each other. And I'm going to.
>> Why? What? Do you understand? >> Here's something. This is the first time. I've ever said this and this is just. something. Oh my god. >> Shay exclusive. [laughter]. >> I don't know. I don't know. >> All right. Um, >> maybe I shouldn't say it. >> Just say it. >> Just say it. >> Whatever you want. Just say it. >> I I mean, >> I talk [ __ ] about [ __ ] Lulu cuddle. [ __ ] I. >> Bro, you talk you talk you you you you.
you you you you you went down on two men. in high school. >> You say [laughter] anything. >> I know. This seems WORSE FOR SOME. REASON. >> NO WAY. >> YEAH. YEAH. YEAH. THANK YOU. [laughter]. >> The flavor OF PENIS IS LIKE FLESH. >> NO. >> YEAH. YEAH. YEAH. YEAH, YOU GET USED TO. THE FLAVOR. ANYWAY, I need honor. I need. one to wash my mouth out. Yeah. Yeah. >> Go ahead. Say what you want to say for. real. Say it. >> All right. So, what I had heard, right, >> was when um and this is from, you know, many people telling me this back in the. day is that when Mensia when Rogan first.
moved to LA from Boston. >> or New York, you know, I think it was. Boston, >> right? Mensia and Joe What? What's going. on? >> No, you're good. Talk. I know. He's not. looking at me. >> I'm looking at you. >> Yeah. Yeah. No, no, you weren't. You. were looking at the water. >> Going to tear the water off. >> Yeah. >> So, go start. Go ahead. >> All right. All right. So, when uh. I heard that when Rogan first moved to. LA, they went to play pool one night. >> Mhm. >> Rogan and Mia.
>> Yes. >> Okay. >> And this is something that And I heard. they got in a fight. >> about what? >> I don't know. >> Probably pool. >> I don't know. But it was a it was a. pretty bad fight. Okay. And I don't know. what the fight was about, right? But I. think that that was the beginning of the. riff. I don't know if it was about joke. stealing. It could have been over a a. girl. It could have been over the actual. game of pool, but I I know from what I. heard from other sources. Now, I I don't.
know if it's verified or not, so I'm. going to say this, but I think it's a. resentment that stems, you know, I mean, from the beginning. Here's another thing. I want to say. Okay. But to be Hold on. Let me just say Let me fill this in real. fast before you go. >> I have to fart again. Should I go leave? >> Yeah, you got Okay. [laughter]. >> No. >> Stay over there. Stay over there. I'm. not even kidding. Stay over there for a. while. >> Yeah. >> It's disgusting, dude. >> Yeah. >> What is that? What did you. >> And you were not even drinking. >> I was fasting.
>> The fasting doesn't do that to you. >> Okay. >> Not fast enough. [laughter]. I'll let me say this. So So let me say. this. >> Okay, >> this is my little piece of this. I have. two two things I want to say, but one. real fast. >> It didn't follow me. >> Yeah, I know. Okay, but but the reason. that Joe the reason that it became as. big as it was is because like part of. Joe's or all comics ethos is like you. you can do anything you want on stage,
but you can't take someone else's [ __ ]. >> Yes. >> That's just the that's like the baseline. of anything. So like I don't care if. somebody goes that guy's a hack. I don't. like the way he does standup or he only. does like impressions or only does crowd. work. He only does this. >> That's right. >> But it has to be yours. It doesn't. matter. So that is the beginning of why. Joe was mad, right? There may have been. something at the pool, but but but it's. still it still extends to the place of. you can't steal. You can do anything you. want, but you can't steal. And normally. it's a guy that's already established. and he's stealing jokes from a guy.
that's up and coming and because. nobody's going to take anything from it. cuz they don't know THIS GUY ANYWAY. >> OKAY. OKAY. BUT LET ME ASK YOU THIS. >> And you're right and I'll say this and I. shouldn't say this but cuz it's not nice. to speak ill about someone that's gone. But Robin Williams was notorious for. doing this. >> Yes. >> Right. But this is the. >> But Damon Williams said that. >> Yeah. I know it's not like a secret. >> But he also but he also said. >> they would call him Robin Jokes. Williams. >> Robin jokes. >> That was the nickname. would steal from. him. >> Yeah. In fact, if he stole one of your.
jokes, there was a call that you can. call a line and they would send you a. check. Right. So, what my my. >> That's a dangerous place to be. >> But my point though being is that Robin. Williams never went to comedy prison. >> Yeah. He never had. >> he got the world right. There are modern. comics now that are accused of stealing. jokes, right? And it's credible. They. they get into prison for a year. Yeah. >> Right. He was in prison for 20 years. >> He's saying the punishment doesn't fit. the. >> Yeah. The punishment doesn't fit the. crime. And also, I want to say this, right? I This is where Mensia went.
wrong, >> right? >> Okay. Carlos Ned, that's his real name. >> The response. >> I love him. Okay. The. >> response. >> But here's what where it went wrong. Okay. >> Get to the edge of the couch. >> Very good. >> Okay. In in the '9s. Okay. >> I'm just going to say it right. >> Being a Comedy Store comic was a regular. at that club right down the street, right? was the worst because if Dice, Andrew does, >> Eddie Griffin. >> Yeah. >> Right. And Mensia was there, that would.
mean you wouldn't get get up. >> They'd do an hour a piece. >> They would do two hours a piece, 3 hours. a piece. >> You weren't going to get on. So, you. were going to get bumped up. >> So, imagine imagine me and Rogan out in. the patio. Eddie Griffin doing two. hours. Then Dice is there. He does two. hours. Right. That means we don't get. up. >> Yeah. >> And look at the young people that were. there back then. Chelsea Handler, you. know what I mean? Like, you know what I. mean? Sebastian Monoscolo. I mean there. are people that had to wait and some we. would. >> hoping to get 5 minutes and THEY WERE. >> NO, WE WERE ON THE lot the list to do. 15, right? But they would you're you're.
supposed to do 15, >> right? >> Right. And they would do 2 hours, >> right? Which means that you don't get to. go up, right? So you're waiting there. all night, night after night after. night. You build resentment. >> Yes. >> Right. >> Yes. >> And so it's like, you know, I have to. call out Eddie Griffin. You know, I hope. I don't die. >> [laughter]. >> You know what I mean? But that's. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But you did too. long, >> right? >> That's why I don't [ __ ] with you. >> These things these things were happening. at the exact It was just a It was.
>> It was a perfect storm. >> It was a perfect storm. Yeah. It's like. >> And now the rule Let me just finish it. real quick. I'm sorry. So now the new. rule at the Comedy Store is It's like if. Chappelle goes over 10 minutes, fine. >> Right. Yeah. >> But if Chris Rock does an extra 15. minutes, fine. We get it. Yeah. You mean. they're superstars. >> Kevin wants to bump us. We're fine, right? Just don't do two hours. The. difference is. >> Dave Chappelle. >> Yes. >> Kevin Hart, Chris Rock know better.
>> Yes. >> They don't [ __ ] play that game. So. these guys were doing a thing they knew. was [ __ ] up and they did it. >> and they knew nobody could do would do. anything about it. >> Cuz Dave would come up to you and go, "Hey man, I think I'm going to do this. amount of time." So it would relieve. people. It would be he would do it in a. way that comics there's a bond that he'd. go hey I'm going to work out and people. would know he would never do it. unassumingly just to [ __ ] over people. back then there was a vibe of like I'm. the [ __ ] I'll do what I want to do. >> yeah the only one thing I'll say on the.
other side of this is cuz the guy was. accused of what he was accused of it was. all true. >> it was a bummer. >> not all of it was true. >> okay stealing jokes is true. >> I I I'm what I'm saying is that. >> stealing jokes is right. >> okay he did do No, I'm just saying that. No, no, I'm not saying that. Listen, >> what I want to say is about the All I'm. trying to talk about that's gone. That's. in the past. About the tax [ __ ]. >> Yeah. >> I find it [ __ ] up that they're putting. this in the news and holding a press. conference about this guy evading taxes.
when. >> from 2019 to 2024. >> when when the Epstein files are real. >> Yes. >> They don't give a [ __ ] about busting. those guys. My my comment is less about. they're like, "You're wasting money on. public press conferences about [ __ ]. Carlos Mensia, not guys. >> Who gives a [ __ ] not about guys that we. know are in files with kids on an. island? That's where my brain goes. That's where I go to like what is this. country up to?". >> Also, our tax dollar, our tax dollars, where does it go to? It doesn't go to. parks. It doesn't go to infrastructure.
or bridges. It goes to ballistic. missiles and [ __ ] that we don't want. I. just think it's I just think beyond. beyond the trouble stealing trouble. No, beyond the joke stealing stuff, I'm. saying it's [ __ ] up that in this day. and age they held a public press. conference. >> It's [ __ ] up. >> to shame a guy who whether you like him. or not. >> evaded taxes versus the amount of [ __ ]. that our that they're doing now is cra. you're like what? That's the big issue. That's crazy to me.
>> It's crazy. I felt so bad. >> Disgusting. >> Disgusting to me. >> Yes. >> Yeah. We revolt against it. By the way, Epstein files are gone now. Do you. notice this? >> They're gone. They're gone. >> They just are gone. They're vanished. >> Yeah, they're vanished. >> We We made a stink for 3 months and. everybody's like, "They're gone. It's no. big deal.". >> Where did they go? >> I don't know. >> Hold on. They was on Pam Bondi's desk. >> Are they on the desk? >> Let me tell you something. >> Next January 6, I'll let you know cuz I. go back next year. [laughter]. >> It's all [ __ ] The point is it's all. a distraction. It's all [ __ ].
>> Yes. No one then they don't give a [ __ ]. about colory evading taxes. This is a. good way to be like look over here blah. blah blah and then some other [ __ ] goes. on. >> That's what it's about. >> That's what it's about. You understand? >> Yes. >> Yeah. Good. You agree? >> Yes. >> Yes. >> Can you give us nicknames right now? >> Fast off the top of the head. >> And I I don't get offended. >> Never. >> Yeah. Call me. Get me give me nit. >> Give us a nick. >> I'll do a dance maybe. >> Please, Shannon. Look at that. >> Come on. Give us something. Bobby,
>> give us something good. [sighs]. >> Come on. >> You had a nickname growing up. >> Did I? >> Yeah. [laughter]. >> What' they call you? Gingerbread. >> Yes. Yes, they did. >> Did they? No. >> Well, fire crotch. That's a fun one. That's an. >> That's normally what they give. They. normally give that to redheaded women. They don't. >> No. Fire crotch is across the board. >> I've seen that. Yeah. It's very fiery. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. When I pull on. my pants, >> they used to call me Sneaky Chopsticks.
>> Sneaky Chopsticks. >> Damn. >> Yeah. >> Well, we also call you what? Your. nickname is uh with Tony the Italian. character. What is it? >> How you doing? >> Tiny eyes Tony. >> Hey, how you doing? Tiny. No, no, no. I'm Tony Small Eyes. How you doing? Small Eyes. [laughter]. >> I'm from Brooklyn. How you doing? Yeah. >> Or I'm Andrew Rice Clay, you know. Clay. [laughter]. >> Yeah. But sometimes I go into Italian. But um um. >> I wonder how much of this is usable. >> Is it usable? Some of this. All of it? Really? >> Yes. >> How much have we done?
>> An hour and a half. >> Easy. >> Two and a half. >> Two hours. >> Holy [ __ ]. >> Holy [ __ ] Let's Let's play the Bad Game. Show. >> Okay. [laughter]. >> Yeah. Yeah. IT'S TOO LONG. I WE CAN'T DO. IT TO THIS LONG. >> YES. You're doing great. >> I think we're doing great. We have good. chemistry. >> Bad Friends podcast. Yeah. How did that. get started? And how is that you think. you got How did the podcast help you. guys. >> do what you really do? Yes. Bobby's dad died and Bobby relapsed. I. put him in rehab a couple of times in.
our friendship career together. And uh. >> You didn't go back to sucking penises, did you? >> No, I did not. No, I didn't relapse on. that. >> A real. >> I've been sober from that from 45 years. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> But he thought about it. >> Damn. [laughter]. >> There's a couple wieners that'll brush. past him. He'll think See how his eyes. follow it. Watch. His eyes will follow. it. He'll. >> You don't eat hot dogs, do you? >> No, I don't eat I don't deep throat. I'll tell you that. >> Yeah. Yeah. Um, >> but we his dad his dad died. He. relapsed. We were doing I was filling in. for him on his other podcast and.
actually uh his ex-girlfriend Kala. >> had said, "You guys should start a show. together." We had joked about it. She's. like, "You should really do it." She was. the biggest. She really was. >> She was a big puzzle piece to this. She. was like, "Why are you guys not doing. it?" And we said, "Well, we didn't want. to step on toes." And you know, >> yes. >> And then so when he got [clears throat]. out of rehab, we started it. >> My wife and I found a studio. We built. it, painted the walls, put up. everything. And then we started within 2. months the pandemic hit. >> and it was us in the room doing [ __ ] and. so we had all the freedom and we never.
got like we didn't think honestly you. start something like that you don't. think it people are going to watch it. >> Yes. >> We're just doing it because we were. bored. We're in a pandemic. It was my. first pandemic. Yeah. >> I don't know what to do. You know what I. mean? I don't know how many. >> you probably went around 100 years ago. with other pandas there around. Yeah. Triple tuberculosis. >> Yeah. Tokyo. >> Yeah. Yeah. But um I wasn't around then. So we we just No one was watching at. first. >> and it slow slowly, you know, gradually. got followers.
>> People were watching at first. That's a. lie. >> Oh, they were. >> It did pretty well right away. >> Okay. So it did very well right away. >> It didn't well as it grew to it grew to. something incredible. We didn't know. We. were just goofballs, good friends. talking about [ __ ] having fun. We. weren't trying to push you an agenda. It. wasn't about co. It was about. disappearing into this this little play. land with us. >> And then six years later, >> we're still in it. >> We still [clears throat] retain this. incredible audience. And then we created. the Bad Game Show. >> We partnered with All Things Comedy and.
we created this game show where it's an. adult themed game show. We did we did. Family Feud and we lost. >> No, we I was on Family Feud. He was with. my family member. We lost. >> We lost We lost to Flavor Flood. >> Flavor Flavor Family. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They I don't know, Bobby. >> Yeah, I know. I know. No, flavor. Flavor's good. >> Flavor is very good at family food. He. knows basic things. >> Don't hate on flavor. He's good. >> He's very good. And Flavor Flave, I. don't know if you know, has so many. kids. Two of them met for the first time. backstage at Family Food. [laughter]. >> That's not I'm not kidding. That's a.
fact. That's a fun fact. >> Two of his kids met for the first time. backstage at Family Food. So, we lost to. him and I said to him, I said, >> "Why don't we do a game show?" Cuz game. shows are like saccharine and boring. We. should do an adult R-rated game show. So, we came up with a bad game show. So, it's two contestants competing against. each other. >> Celebrities going headtohead and and. >> and we make up our own games. >> and the games are insane. They're not. like what you get. >> Like one of the games is like we. blindfold, you know, I mean, a. contestant, right, and go smell the. race. >> You have to sniff the race and guess. which race. >> Yeah. Yeah. And they never get it right.
>> Yeah. >> And then we have another game. We then. we do stuff like we have a game called. uh uh Hammer or Dmer. We read you text. and you tell us if it's Jeffrey Dmer or. Army Hammer. Who said it? >> Which one [laughter] said? >> Yeah. >> It's insane. It's but it's. >> and these are questions you don't see in. Family Feud. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But considering that you lost. Family Feud, you know, you given Asians. a bad name. >> Yeah. What do you mean? Here's my. problem. A lot of ways. Here's my here. Family Feud, Shannon, this is what I I. should have stacked it with Asians. I. invited the whites.
>> THAT'S THIS IS. >> NO, NO, NO. THE WHITES [ __ ] IT UP, MAN. >> FIRST OF ALL. >> YEAH. YEAH. The whites [ __ ] it up. >> FIRST OF ALL, I GOT ALL MY [ __ ] RIGHT. >> I KNOW YOU DID. YOU'RE A GOOD WHITE. BUT. MY POINT IS THIS. YOU'RE A GOOD WHITE. >> I AM A GOOD WHITE. >> This is a Schindler. He's a good white. You know what I mean? He's one of those. IF I WAS IN A. JAPANESE interament camp, he would sneak. me the sandwich. He's a good white, BUT. THERE ARE BAD WHITES, RIGHT? I HAD A. COUPLE OF BAD WHITES on it. >> So, how many Asians were on THE ON THE. THREE? >> THREE. >> WE HAD THREE ASIANS. >> You uh Kyla Gene HONG. >> AND GENE HONG ASIAN.
>> YOU'VE BEEN CALLED HALF FILIPINO. I. DON'T KNOW IF THAT COUNTS. >> THAT COUNTS. >> OKAY. THREE. YEAH. YEAH. TWO PEOPLE. >> YEAH. YEAH. I had one, two white, two, one white, too many. [laughter]. >> I had white, too. I MADE ME, WHICH WAS. THE WHICH is an off-white, a good white. And the only other white you had was. Esther. She was the original white. And. she's Jewish. So that's. >> Oh, sorry. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Sorry about. that. I don't know why you [laughter]. call. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But um we're. scared. >> We get scared. We sc We get scared.
>> We get scared of sometimes we get. scared, you know, >> if you say Nyahoo three times. [laughter]. >> Yeah. But um Yeah, we lost that. So, we. have a game show and. >> game show. >> and um we. >> called the Bad Game Show. It comes out. on our channel, The Bad Friends Channel. Yeah. Every Wednesday. Our show. premieres every Monday. The game shows. every Wednesday. You get a full week of. fun and it's amazing guests. >> Free, >> huh? Free. >> Free. Yeah. It's YouTube. It's on. YouTube, Spotify. >> So, is that what is that what you guys. were going for? Is like you want to.
create your own platform. So, you guys. get to control the content. Nobody can. tell you, well, you can't say this, you. can't do that. We control it. We sell. it. It's our we it's it's us made in our. likeness and image. And it's our. ideology. >> Yeah. And I'll tell you this, it's the. beginning to us [snorts] genuinely. Like. we dream of a world of the bad friends. world where like. >> we do a movie, we can do a movie. together. We'll do a TV show together. Like. >> this is just the beginning. We It's a. test. It's a test of like do the fans.
want to see us do something else. together? Yes. and they've responded. well and I hope it keeps growing and we. want to keep doing [ __ ] for our fans on. our world. So you don't have to. >> you don't have to you don't have to. think about us going to the other side. We'll make it ourselves then like. >> and we do we do dabble like we were in. Goat for instance, Happy Gilmore 2, right? I have you know I'm doing. >> we love DOING HOLLYWOOD MOVIES. >> WE LOVE HOLLYWOOD, [screaming]. YOU KNOW. I HAVE A NEW MOVIE called. Nimrods the Green Day movie. I'm in that. movie. I mean I do things you like doing. it. >> We like doing it but it's like.
>> we'd rather do our own show. I'll tell. you I'll tell you a fun story. Yes. >> You like fun stories? Not really a fun. story, but it's not really that fun. >> But this it it kind of clicked in my. brain. >> So, um I saw Mary, you know who Mary. Lynn Rice Cub is? >> I do not. >> She's a great actress. She was, you. know, in a bunch of great shows. She was. in the show 24. >> Okay. >> Do you remember 24? >> I think I do. Who. >> Keeper Southern? >> Yes. >> Yeah. Yeah. She was like the second. lead, right? >> And she was starting to do standup.
again. And I go, "Why are you doing. standup? You're a TV star." She goes, "I. want to make my own brand.". >> Yeah. >> I want to make my own franchise. >> You want to separate from the. >> Yeah. And and to me, I'm like, "Oh, right." It's like when you're on. somebody else's show, you have to do. what they tell you to do. >> You absolutely do. >> Yeah. People go, "We didn't like your. acting and Sex in the City. They told me. to do it like that." Where you going? >> Okay. [laughter]. >> Finish. She'd be a terrible ninja. Yeah,
[laughter]. >> the footsteps were loud. >> Yeah, they were pretty loud. Yeah. Yeah, >> we softer. >> Yeah. Anyway, check out the Bad Game. Show. >> Watch the Bad Game Show every Wednesday. >> Every Wednesday, we do 10 episodes. >> It's on YouTube, on Spotify video. It's. it's all over the place. We. had we had Margaret Cho versus Wendy. Mlennon CVY. We had uh Tony Hawk, >> Felipe Sparza versus Ralph Barbosa. The.
first episode was Burke Crusher, Eric. Andre, Tony Hawk and Ryan Sheckler. Um, and then. >> Ed Begley Jr. versus how we made. >> Ed Begley Jr. How and when this I don't. know if this is when this comes out, but. uh our beloved friend uh Oliver Tree who. passed away is in an episode with uh. with Jean Simmons, which is crazy. Uh. >> kiss Jean Simmons. >> Kiss Jean Simmons. >> Wow. >> What would be Lincoln Park's Jean. Simmons? No, I'm just saying just making. sure you don't. >> maybe [laughter] our audience every. Yeah. >> Andrew, yes. >> In your Wikipedia page, you say you. lived in section 8. Is that true? >> That's is what I don't even know who put. that in there. >> You did. >> I didn't put it in there. >> I know, but you did live in section 8. >> I didn't live in section 8. This is This. is [laughter]. >> It's not true. >> You act like it. >> Okay, here. Let. >> He knows every hip hop album. He knows,
you know, he knows, you know what I. mean? >> Because. Did that sound racist? >> Huh? >> Why are you talking back there? >> Because this is what black people are. [laughter]. Did that Did that sound racist? >> This guy This guy. >> Why did you put the black people in the. back of the room?
