And then. um I paid for a vacation in Galveston. I. bought a Airbnb, beachside house for my.

family, my whole family, my mom, my dad, my brothers, and all that [ __ ] And we. all go out there and we enjoy a good. time. But I don't get to go out there. because I work during the week. So. Friday I go and I pick her up and you. know we're talking and we're trying to. figure out what's going on and she was. like I need more time to think after I. leave after we leave Galveston. We come. back and I think maybe like four or five. days after that she's like okay I'm. ready. I'm ready for you to come home. Keep in mind this has been almost like.

I'd say about a month maybe 3 4 weeks. And um so I come home and two months go. by and I'm talking like at this point I. thought I was a issue. So I just I. completely changed who I was. I was. nicer. I was more energetic. I I sold my. gaming console. Like I spent three grand. on a gaming PC and I sold it so that we. could spend more time together. Um, but. really all you have is that car that's. actually him paying on it. Uh, a loan. with Verizon, but that's in your monthly. phone plan. So, I'm not freaking out. about that. So, this is why I don't like it and why. I'm not like calling it a house. specifically. But. other than that, it's not like you have. minimum payments for me to put into the. budget. So, I'm not freaking out right. now. And it's they haven't sued you to. go get a court order and get your wages. garnished anyway. So, I'm not like dying. right now. Unless is there a court order. So, it cost. 4,414 to survive. I'm going to give you. an extra 400 for fun a month. Okay, that. gives you $10,000 left a month. Like, come on. So, you buy that car.

month one, boom, done. Month two, month. three, you save up and then you pay off. what's left after selling that uh that. house. Boom. Three months debtree. Incredible. Um after that, you save up. 10,000 hours for 2 months, you have. 20,000 bucks. We call that a fully. funded emergency fund cuz you guys are. only spending $400 capped on fun and 100. on subscriptions. Okay. $250 on TP fund, which can also go to.

fund like the kids stuff and them doing. things as well. So, there's a lot of. money being spent here, not going to. lie. Uh, but your guys' debt payments. are just so good compared to everyone. else that comes on the show, especially. when we get rid of the house. After. that, buddy, here's the fun thing. We're doing 50 30 20. So, of your uh 16. of your 1480. uh of your 14,800 that comes in a month, 50% of it can be spent on needs. You can. actually upgrade your lifestyle at that. point in about 4 months from now. As.

long as you learn how to control your. budgeting, you can do that. You can. upgrade your lifestyle. >> Yeah. >> 50% can be spent on needs. That's more. groceries. You don't need to meal prep. as much. We can do fresh. We can do all. this stuff. We can go out to eat. >> So, hold on. I do want to throw in. there. So, what my plan was, um, I want. to pay off my truck. >> Yeah. >> I want to get a bigger truck. >> Well, I didn't have a truck debt. >> It's not It's not in his name. It's in. his garage. >> How much you owe? >> 660 a month. >> Well, what's the full balance? like. >> I think like 22,000 maybe. >> Okay. So, you pay that off in an. additional two months. So, that.

I want to. get a camper and I want to follow this. job because it's not like um they're. going to stay in one spot is. >> that's a contract. >> They're in Louisiana now and they could. go to Michigan and they'll be like, "Are. you coming with us or not?" And. >> but you can't take the kids. >> That's why I said I'd get a camper and. what? >> And you can do that. You work on and. then off. You go back home. >> Yeah. >> Okay. How much how much for a camper? >> Um. >> cuz I'm down for the investment. big. enough. One big enough for me. >> Um I know I can find one maybe on. Craigslist for like 65,000. >> Okay.

>> My cousin, my my sister and her. boyfriend, he does pipeline oil filled. and he makes stupid. >> Oh, that's great. I I'm down for it. Okay, so here here's what we got to do. everything I just talked about and then. also pay off your truck. Call that 6. months. >> Okay. >> And then call it an additional 6 months. You're saving up like 60,000 bucks. maybe seven, eight months as well to get. to like 80,000 and you're buying a. camper in cash because I I want you to. follow his job. I agree. >> And even if you have to finance one just. because the job moves quicker than you. can save up for it, I'm down for that as.

well. >> Camper payment's a lot cheaper than. house payment. >> Well, but you're paying that off ASAP. when you follow the job. Okay. >> Yeah. >> So, boom, done. Um, so either way, I. think that's a. total of like a year and a half. And. that's incredible. a year and a half max. and then at that point 50 30 20 50% is. spent on needs which I don't think you. need to spend that much but you can if. you want if you want to in inflate your. lifestyle you can 30% on wants which. means I literally want you in a year and.

a half once you do all that to spend. $4,440 a month on fun you guys to go on. vacations. >> 4,000 a month. >> yes. >> Jesus Christ. >> exactly. >> it's a lot of money. >> it is but you make a lot of money. >> going blow but I'd rather put that into. a savings account. >> because you're going to be investing. 20%. >> Okay. >> And 20% is going to be a [ __ ] ton of. money and you're going to retire a multi. multi-millionaire. >> What if I put it into a CD and I don't I. can't touch it? >> Nope. You're going to put it in the uh. stock market and you won't touch it.

>> Yeah. Um stock market is just going to. keep pace with inflation. You want it to. grow 10 to 12% a year in the S&P 500. >> And usually CD insurance, >> that's a conversation for a year and a. half from now. Okay. You'll get that in. the investing class as well. But what I. need you to focus on in the next year. and a half, you're paying off all the. debt. You're paying off the car and. you're saving up $60 to $80,000, which. you can do in a year and a half. And you. have a $20,000 emergency fund. [music]. So that's a year and a half. Okay, that's easy. Actually, easy. Easier. always said than done, but that's pretty.
