No F*cking Way | Financial Audit
Why are you acting like an insufferable. c? Oh my. Within the last year, she has. affirmed $700. of lab boooos. What a joke. You should. be embarrassed. I'm embarrassed for even. having that happen on my own show. Quicksilver card. >> That one. may have been for a purchase. [Music]. >> Sign up for the new and improved. Yeah, >> I'd be choking if I spent 16% of my. money on fast food as well. >> Where are you from? >> New Orleans, Louisiana.
>> And this is Financial Audit. >> Just want to make sure you're alive so. you can make it through this. It was a. little And I'm from. >> So, okay. >> You're good. >> What do you do in Louisiana for a. living? >> I am a patient access rep at a pediatric. specialty office. Okay, sure. What does. that make? What do you make? >> Um $15.95 an hour. >> Now, Louis New Orleans, not one of the. more expensive cities. Declining.
population has been since a very long. time. Katrina definitely pushed it over. the edge. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, I don't know how 15 stretches. there. I'll be completely honest. In a. lower income city, lower cost of living. city. How you living? How many Wait, before you answer that, how many hours a. week are you working? >> 40. >> Okay. What hits your account on a. monthly or bi-weekly, whatever your. thing is? >> Around 1,900. >> Okay. How you doing? 1900 in Louisiana. >> Not not good. >> No. >> No.
>> I'm going to need a little more than. that on a podcast. >> Um, it's not enough to survive. >> Why don't you go get a different job? >> I like what I do and I like the company. I work for. >> But you can't survive. What comes first? Survival or liking the company we work. for? Preferably, we can match both. together, but when one is not happening, the one we're choosing to happen over. the other is survival.
>> I feel like I should enjoy my job. >> Sure, I agree. I would like you to. should entitled to. I wouldn't say so. You prefer that over working? >> No. There there was an opportunity for. me to get like a leadership position but. >> which would have come with what pay. >> that wasn't disclosed. >> And what was the opportunity of which it. did not take hold? >> Um why? >> So I would have basically been like the. leader of all of the patient access.
reps. So over about maybe six or seven. people. Um and they ended up going with. someone else. >> Okay. Okay. So, you did not have an. opportunity. There was an opportunity that you tried, but it was not yours. I mean, sorry. >> My manager made it seem like it was in. the bag for me. >> Well, instead, now you got to put the. fries in the bag cuz it didn't work out. I'm sorry. That is the reality. Listen, I would love you to get a promotion.
That'd be great. Okay. I'm glad I got I I'm glad you like. your job. Let's pretend there are two. pillars here. >> I'm not doing that bad. It just looks. bad on paper. You just said you're. struggling to survive. I'd say that's. bad in paper and in person. >> I feel like I've gotten a little bit. better lately. >> Okay, that's what everyone. Oh, >> it's the truth. >> That's what everyone says on this show. >> Okay, >> if that's the truth, then. >> I feel like most of those are just.
payments and interest. >> Okay, we giggle at everything. Every sentence. we say. >> Yeah, >> we giggle at. Yep. >> Okay. Let's pretend there's two pillars. >> in the job world. Okay. >> It's New Orleans, so it's safe. Okay. >> New Orleans, so it's not safe. >> Well, for these two, this is enjoying. our job. This is survival. I would like. them both to exist, but if we got to. crash into one of them and bring it.
down, it's the enjoyment cuz survival is more. important. I prefer both. But you have to choose. survival. >> Why do I have to, though? >> Cuz if you're not surviving, then you. don't show up to the job at some point. Then you don't have a place to live. You. don't have food to eat. What do you. mean? Why would I have to ch. >> How? Explain that logic to me. >> I mean, I enjoy my job and I'm the best. at my job. I'm not getting fired anytime. soon, >> which is why you got promoted.
They my manager told me she felt like. because I was already like like I. already knew all of the other patient. access people that it would be um. difficult for me to like suddenly become. a manager over them. >> That's some cope. >> What? >> That is cope. If you were the best for. the job, you would have gotten the job. >> I mean I feel that way too but. >> yeah. So maybe you appreciate the. company but they don't appreciate you. meaning, oh, we look for a different job.
is where that goes traditionally. I. >> actually did leave this job for like 3. months and then went back. >> What were you doing in that 3 months? >> I was a case coordinator for a pediatric. home health company. >> What did you make? >> 1650 an hour. >> Okay. A little bump. >> Yeah. >> Percentage wise, decent, but. >> insurance was way better. >> That's good. >> I didn't enjoy it though, so I left and. went back. Were you able to make more of. a survival during that? >> My living situation was different at the.
time. So, yes. >> Okay. Why not put your living situation. back to that then? Obviously, that's not. the situation that. >> I don't want to be in that situation. again. >> Okay. Well, it's all I want with you. I. just want to pick. >> I haven't giggled in like 5 minutes. Don't make that face. >> Uh, we've been filming for six. >> Can you even see? >> You look better. >> Let me take mine off, too, then. So why in your entire life everything. we're doing here is you just choosing.
what's a little more pleasant cuz what. ends up again if it's the we're not able. to live pillar that doesn't exist. Life. will not be pleasant across the board. You might enjoy the job you go to, but. if you get evicted, if you lose a. housing situation, if you're in high. interest debt forever, you can't make. your pen payments, your credit. absolutely, you need to borrow for. whatever reason with a car or whatever, at some point you're not able to qualify. for anything other than predatory. Maybe. you take out payday loans. Maybe you. start getting a cash advance cycle of. death. That's not a good life. I would say that.
would then outweigh not having the job. we absolutely love. Now, again, I am not. saying I don't want you want you to be. in a job you love. I am not saying that. I want both to be there. But you have to. choose survival over that. >> My is. >> or or if you're working 40 hours a week. and you want to continue that, that's. fine. You got to go work a second job. >> My issue isn't my income. I just like to. spend money on things that I don't need. >> Okay. Well, then um the solution would. be uh I want to I want to make sure. I. want to confirm.
>> Oh, yeah. It's don't do that, you dumb. >> That's why I'm here. So, I'm able to just make you not spend. money. I'm able to make you not spend. 20% of your spending, which is spending. more than you bring in on fast food. I'm. able to do that for you. You. >> I go there. I hold your hand. I ride. theing streets of New Orleans on my. tubas and whatnot. And I'm making you. not spend money. I'm there. >> I feel like you yelling at me is going.
to ingrain it in my head. >> Listen, whatever kinks you have is fine. I'm not judging, but I am not able to be. the shift. I'm able to tell you what's a. good way to do it. But if you already. recognize what the problem is, yet you. are not out there doing the fix that is. necessary. What the can I do? >> It's hard. >> It's hard. >> I want good guys. It's hard. It's hard. >> I want things. I wanted a laboo. >> Okay, great. >> Do you want to see it? >> Nope. Don't give a All right, here comes.
a non-consentual laboo. Look at it. >> Great. You got the most boring one. It's. gray. >> At least it's better than this one. sitting. >> I'm like, what do you say [ __ ] me for? Let's put it away. Let's put it away. Cuz I don't care about this. That's not. even a W boooo. That's That's nothing. No one knows what that is. >> It's pip. >> All right. She's a child. That's great. I'm glad we're establishing this. >> Wonderful. And that vibes with your. attitude of, "Oh, I'm picking my job I. like over being able to survive. Oh, I.
want things and I'm not able to cut it. back and I need you to hold my hand.". Yeah. You're never going to do anything, are you? You're never going to be. successful, are you? >> You're just a child. Like, what the even. was that littleing stunt you just did? What a joke. >> I. >> It's embarrassing. You should be. embarrassed. I'm embarrassed for even. having that happen on my own show. >> I'm embarrassed every day. >> You should be. >> I am. >> good. >> Great. >> Whenever I'm embarrassed, I usually. change the thing that is embarrassing. me.
Why are you incapable of change or. anything or any progress or maturity? >> Because I'm a child, like you said. >> I mean, what the even is that answer? Obviously, that is what I'm saying. you're acting like, but you're just. going to sit there and say you're a. child. What can I do then? Like, okay, then go lay in your crib. The. conversation's done. >> Are you going to give me a pacifier? >> The are you doing? >> I'm just here. >> For what reason? I do want help to try. to. figure out my finances.
>> Why are you acting like an insufferable. c? >> Yeah, Google that away. Cope that, Google. Go for it. Like, what the are we. doing, dude? You're acting like a. >> That's not my intention. >> What? What is your intention then right. now? >> I genuinely want your help. >> What does that help look like to you? >> I budget. Like I. >> You budget. >> I do. >> Great. Tell me how much you spent last. month.
>> More than I made. >> Like. >> tell me how much you spent that last. month. You budgeting professional queen. >> Like 2400. >> 28. So you don't even know that. And you. bring in 19. >> It was close. >> kind of percentage wise. Not really, but. okay. >> It was around that ballpark. >> Sure. I guess. And listen, the median. average hourly wage in New Orleans is. 28. substantially under that. You're. you're in you're in the beyond lower. category of paid and you're like, "Oh,
because I enjoy my job." That's okay. There's other jobs you enjoy that you. might get paid more that you might have. to stick out a job you don't like for a. bit to gather experience or move up in a. company. You think there's only one job. that's enjoyable in this world? >> No, but I would like to see what. opportunities I do have in this company. >> Oh, you bought a budgeting chart from. Etsy. Okay. So that's your. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Sorry. What were you saying? >> I want to see how I can grow in the. company that I'm with right now. >> Okay. That company denied you growth.
>> in that area. There's other areas of the company. >> Then why haven't you done it? >> Because I need help from my management. >> Okay. You need help from everyone except. for yourself apparently because you. can't do anything on your own. It sounds. like you need help from me for your. finances. You need help from management. to promote you. Like what the You can't. do anything. Huh? >> I can't promote myself. >> You can't promote yourself, but you can. put yourself in a position where you. would have won the promotion. You. didn't. You were not chosen even though.

Why'. the other person win over you? >> Because they were from a different. company and had more experience. They. had management experience. >> There you go. And you didn't. So, you. needed that. >> I'm trying to get the management. experience. >> Yeah. But you might have to leave to. another company you don't like in order. to get management experience in order to. accumulate the skills in a resume. necessary to get the job you want. >> Maybe. >> Maybe. Let's start with the uh uh sympathy. I'm. sorry your mom passed away. That sucks. That's horrible. I will literally break. when my mom passes away. It's going to. be the worst moment of my life by far. Number two, you hearing stories about how your mom.
was an impulse spender is why you're an. impulse spender. You don't even witness. her being an impulse spender. She heard. stories. >> I I went. >> Why are you saying you heard stories? >> Because I have heard stories and that. like kind of triggered some memories. >> of her dragging me to Kmart with her. this. This will be a birthday. gift for this person. >> Do you hear how you're talking? Do you.
hear how you're talking, lady? You're. you're you're you're showing how she was. bad at it. When I saw people do bad. things, I do the opposite. I'm confused. What are you saying here? >> I don't want to be this way. Oh my goodness. Okay. So, there's. there's absolutely no responsibility on. you. >> I feel like I picked up those tendencies. from her though. >> Oh, man. Dude, I don't even know. Oh, good. Your mom used to open up credit.

It would not have. continued to go down the road if you. weren't continuing the conversation. >> No, you weren't just sitting there and. she was like tariffs Trump. >> No. So, she mentioned tariffs and I I. did say something about Trump because I. thought I thought that it was his fault, but she was like, "No, it's not." And. then like in Mexico and stuff.
>> cuz you know how he raised the tariffs. like. >> Yeah. I'm just confused how what you're. even talking about. Okay, whatever. It. doesn't matter. Okay. So, you disagree. with politics and she kicked you out. >> So, I told her that she was so. close-minded that it's disgusting. because of what she said about. >> Why would you attack the person that's. keeping you over their head? Just go in. your room just like she. >> was attacking me. She was getting loud. with me. >> Well, she doesn't like your position. That's fine. Separate. We have to. separate, guys. Theing politics cannot. be a battle. >> I was trying. And she just kept saying,
"Why? Cuz you know I'm right. Why? Cuz. you know I'm right." Cuz I kept asking. her to be quiet. And then when I told. her, >> Kevin, no one likes to be called in. random close-minded though. Obviously, she viewed that as a personal attack. >> Well, yeah, but then she started. throwing the stuff that she's done for. me in my face. >> Well, yeah. I mean, she's allowing you. to say there. That is probably a truth. >> Yeah. I was kind of living there run. free. So. >> So yes, >> but again just separate. >> I was trying. >> No, you were not. From everything you've. said, no, you were not. You both enabled.
these. >> I was trying I was trying to fix my. lunch for work the next day. >> and then I was going to go in my room. and when I said the what I said about. her being ignorant and close-edminded. >> So you're like, "Yeah, ignorant." And. she kicked you out. >> She said cuz I had mentioned to her that. my boyfriend wanted me to move in within. the next few months. This was back in. like February. >> Is your boyfriend trans? >> No. >> I have friends that are like LGBTQ. So, and I have like one of my childhood best. friends is trans. >> Okay. >> I just I was like trying to think.
>> Not a productive conversation to have if. you guys are completely opposite ends of. the things. I I like I don't get it. It's just like I wouldn't have that. conversation that she's the one that. brought up the transition. >> Yeah, but you could have stayed quiet if. we were playing that diplomatically and. you were just throwing. No, I was I was. trying to stay quiet, but then she. started. >> Okay, so she kicked you out. >> She said, "You know what? You can go. pack your bags and leave now instead of. in a couple months.". >> What do you call a trans nephew? >> Huh? >> What do you call a trans nephew? >> I don't know. >> A nibbling.
We learned that on the show. And that is. a hilarious word. Why did they choose. that? What the. >> a nibbling? >> That's your That's your genderneutral. nephew. Wouldn't it just be a child? >> You better not question it. >> You will be ignorant. You'll be very. ignorant real quick. >> I'll be ignorant. >> It is a It is a nibbling. >> It sounds like you're nibbling on. something. >> That sounds like a bigot. Ladies and. gentlemen of Financial Audit, this is. one of the most exciting moments in this.

the next day she tried texting me say. like apologizing and saying that I could. come back. >> Well, there we go. >> I didn't want to go back. >> Well, no. >> Because she said some really hurtful. things. >> You both said hurtful things to each. other. Come on. >> She was throwing the stuff that she's. done for me in my face. >> Well, she was doing things. >> I know, but she would constantly tell. me, "Oh, don't worry about it. Don't. worry about it. Like, I'm doing this for. you because you're like a daughter.". >> Don't worry. Listen, you guys were in a. hostile conversation. That what bubbles. up and it comes out. That's where it. comes out. It sucks. But that is.
>> I didn't say anything to that extent to. her, though. >> Come on. You both find different things. insulting. We're all individuals in. this. We find different things. insulting. >> She basically called me a freeloader and. said, "Good luck with your boyfriend. because you're not going to be paying. any bills when you live with him.". >> She was attacked. I'm not I'm not saying. what she said was good, but you were. attacking her. She attacked back. It. wasn't great. And also, you kind of are. freeloading on your boyfriend. >> I help with bills. I help more than I. did with her. >> Well, cuz you did nothing. She told me. she told me. >> I know but literally if you provide $1.
you're providing more than what you did. with her. So like yes. >> a quarter. She would tell me like if you. can't give me anything this check that's. fine. >> No I'm not arguing against it. I'm just. saying obviously yes you providing. literally anything is more than what you. were doing. >> Yeah. >> You still are not doing much. Okay. Listen. 0 to 10. What do you think your. financial score is? Zero being the. worst, 10 being the best. >> A zero. good, reasonable, >> I'm like a negative 10 probably.

learn more. Let's do this thing. >> Are those veggies real? >> Huh? >> Are the veggies real on the cover? >> Yes. >> Oh, okay. >> Yeah, it was taken to my house. >> Cute. >> Oh, okay. Oh, credit one. We're going to open with. a credit one. The uh indication that we. are incredible with finances because. we're not doing that bad. It is. indicative of Oh, you probably have. really good finances. One, everyone's. favorite. Okay. Uh oh. If we're not over.
the limit. >> That's probably from interest charges. >> Uh let's see. Well, no, you actually. were already over the limit. The only. way interest charges would push you over. the limit. is by you not making a payment on time. and get hit with late fees and whatnot. Didn't happen. And this month looks like. it happened in April. >> Yeah, >> cuz that's what pushed us over. Then. your minimum monthly payment isn't. enough to pull you under with how over.
you went. What's going on with this. card? >> I. wanted something that I didn't have. for I don't remember that card. >> You don't even see this is and that's. >> a couple years old. >> and this is that that's it's been maxed. out for a couple years. >> Yeah. And that's why this is a broken. philosophy that you have with the. spending money on things because you. don't even know what you got. It's. something so ignant that it doesn't even. matter. Doesn't positively impact your. life today. Yet you are paying interest.
on it today. You are paying fees on it. today. You are paying late fees on it. today. And now you're over the limit. today on something you got a couple. years ago that you don't even remember. >> It could have been food. >> It could have been. I'm sure. I mean, you spend a ton on it. So, $41 is your. minimum monthly payment. Takes 3 years. to pay off. If you do minimum monthly. payments on time, only without. purchasing anything. And I bet if there. was room to purchase, you would listen. $85 of fees, $17 of interest. I This.
ising crazy. And of course, this had a. 28.24% interest rate. >> I had it almost paid off before and then. they upped my credit limit. >> How does that. >> So, I started using on it again. But. wouldn't you still had like available. credit if you almost had paid it off? Why does them upping the credit limit. all of a sudden be like, "Oh, let's go.". >> I saw that I could spend more and I. found something that was that I wanted. >> of which we don't remember. >> Yeah. >> I mean, we know that you probably got.
through your purchases that you talked. about with Colton $120 AirPods, phone. upgrade, you know, $140 to pay the. difference. I mean, $100 minimum on fast. food a week still. So, it's like. >> that's why I had that cookbook in my. Amazon cart. >> In the cart. The cart. wasn't even purchased. It's in the cart. You're still considering whether or not. you want to cook. >> I I want to cook. I want to learn how to.
cook. >> What's complicated about cooking? So, I. messed up making like pre-made brownies. before. Are you. >> like I don't. >> I guess. >> Okay. Do you go out a lot or are you. like a stay-at-home kind of person? >> Like eating? >> I don't know. Just in general. >> In general. I'm more of a homebody. >> You're a homebody. Then why the are you. not cooking if you're just at home? I. guess that just leads to Door Dash.
Probably. >> groceries are expensive. >> Not as expensive as Door Dash. What? >> I don't Door Dash. I'll like go and pick. something up. >> It's not as expensive as that. >> It depends. >> No, it does not. >> My meal at McDonald's is like $67. >> Great. Your meal meal prepped would be. less. >> I doubt it. >> Well, I can get you. I can get you at per meal if we call it. a 28 day month divided by three. I can. get you at per meal $2.90 if we're meal.
prepping. Yes, that is the math we've. proven and we check it once a quarter to. make sure it still works. And that's. using the recipes in that cookbook. >> That's. >> But that involves meal prepping. >> I was prep like brand new meal three. times a day. >> I know. I understand that. >> Okay. >> I eat leftover. >> Dude, you're a homebody. >> Yeah. >> Why the what are we doing? If you're never leaving, why can't you. just stay home and cook? Because my.
boyfriend asks me, "Hey, do you want to. get McDonald's?". >> And your answer is no. >> My answer is yes. >> Well, your answer should be no. I mean, I'm being told all you do is. literally just watch TV if you're not at. work. So, >> yeah. >> Cook, you have all the time in the. world. >> It gets hot in the house. We don't have. central AC. >> and it's gas. >> You're already there. >> But it gets hot in the house and I don't. like. >> vent it out. >> How? Oh, we don't have central AC. >> Vent it out in a window in a fan, you.
dumb tit. >> I guess. >> you guess. >> it's hot outside. >> Oh my. Yes, but you can vent it out. If. it's hotter outside than in, then close. the window and just cook. Again, you're. meal prepping a couple times a week. The. rest is just warming up what you meal. prepped. So, it's not like that impacts every. day. Anyway, there's lots of cold meal. preps in there as well. Overnight oats. and like that. Salads. >> I like salad. I love salad. >> Okay, >> maybe I'll get a big salad and like.
a tub of ranch with some grilled chicken. on it. >> Tub of ranch. >> I love ranch. >> Outback ranch is so good. >> Oh, outback ranch specifically. Okay. >> Yes. >> Um, yes. Let's not use ranch anymore cuz one. expensive. Two. >> I love ranch. >> I love ranch too. I also love making it. to the age of 60. Okay. What about. Caesar dressing? >> Dude, any dressing is okay if you use it. in a reasonable amount.
>> Yeah, valid. >> You are not. Well, >> you're saying not to use ranch at all. >> In a reasonable amount. >> Okay, I might be able to do that, >> buddy. Let's just talk about and. sometimes upsets people, but I don't. really give a pearl clutches are weird. There's you're going to have to make big. sacrifices to budget to get out of debt. to have a fully funed emergency fund and. get on track for retirement. There's. also no point of doing any of that if. you're going to die at 40. >> That's around the age my mom died. >> That's not surprising. Were you guys. similar? >> She had a massive heart attack. So,
>> are you Were you guys similar? >> Like, was she fat, too? >> Yes. Morbidly obese. Let's be honest. >> Well, yeah, she had a heart attack. >> I don't know. People have heart attacks. that aren't. But that is a that'll get. you there a lot quicker. >> As far as I know, my heart is fine, >> buddy. You're 27. >> Yeah. >> Thought it can happen in 13 years. It. can go downhill real quick. >> I'm humble. I'm. >> The hope isn't what does it. I'm sorry. No, no, no. We need to talk objective. things. It's not a fashion thing. We got. permission to do all this blah blah blah.
blah blah. Sheing gave us all the. consent in the world. So, that's why I'm. doing this. I want to go up to a random. person in the street and say this. >> You're morbidly obese. >> I know. Am I being like over 50? >> Oh, um yeah, that's bad. Uh yeah, 40 is like. kind of where you're going to be. concluding this mission of life. That's. not good for your boyfriend if you want. to be together longer. Selfish. Two, what's the point of sacrificing all this. if you're not going to actually do it?
And I usually hate that argument for. most people cuz when most people say it. statistically, they will live into their. 60s, 70s, maybe even 80s. So it's like, no, sacrifice for the statistical. likelihood that you're going to do that. you're going to make it there. >> 13 years is a lot of years to still. live. a lot of years to still live, but. it's like you will be sacrificing during. that if we're if we're doing this. correctly. But I mean, that's 200. milligrams of coffee right there with a. heart that you already have that is. surrounded by. >> I am running off of.
>> I understand. I'm just saying I I want. us to be objective here. We're talking. about. >> Sure. Yeah. Talking about morbid obesity. specifically isn't a financial. conversation, but it does involve the. entire life that we're having here. What. is the point of sacrificing pay off all. this debt? Get in fully fund and save. for a retirement you'll never see. Your mom, morbidly obese, had a heart. attack at 40 and died. You are living. the same lifestyle. BMI over 50. Terrifying. And I know I'm a fat. I get.
it. >> You're being probably like 20. >> I'm I'm I'm barely in the obese. category. I'm almost under. >> We love that. Yeah, there monthly. mukbangs and the hammer elite membership. is not helping. But. Cheesecake Factory this last time. Not. helping. >> I've never had Cheesecake Factory. >> Don't. >> Okay, I'll take your word for it. >> Well, a slice of cheesecake is over. 1,000 calories. Really? >> Yes. Uh, okay. Either way, do you. understand what I'm saying? >> Yes. >> And this you meal prepping cooking at.
home is a kill the bird with two still. kill. What is it? What is it? Kill two. birds with one stone. >> Yeah. Well, yeah. Two birds with one. stone. Living longer via getting. healthier. Finance is good. We like that. What? This isn't even like a sexual. thing. What does your do this? Mine doesn't.
I. >> Okay. >> So, it's very important and it's a very. serious thing. Okay. Like, yes, we make. jokes and roasts and stuff as you were. well aware and are well aware. Yes, that's for the fun of the conversation. Haha. Haha. That's real. >> I do not want you to follow your mom's. footsteps and there's no point of doing. this if you. >> I don't want to follow her footsteps. either. >> You're doing nothing to change it. I'm. sorry. You probably only got Come on. What's. >> I'm sorry. You How much do you weigh?
>> My biggest I've been like 302 right now. 287. >> And how tall are you? >> 54ish. >> Damn. >> All right. Listen here, financial audit. And. you're not You don't want to follow her. footsteps, but you're doing nothing to. change that. >> I feel like I don't have the motivation. to want to be healthier. >> Okay. Here's the motivation. You won't. die in 13 years. If that's not a motivation enough, I. don't know what is. Death. Death. >> Who knows what my life will be like in. 13 years. >> Dead probably. Unfortunately.
happened to your mom. and that sucked. >> She died in a GameStop parking lot. >> It's the ultimate way to go out. But. >> she was behind the driver's seat. She. was about to head home and like it. happened and she. >> Okay, I'm sorry. >> I'm sorry. I'm not trying to be morbid. >> Well, you're not. No, you are to. yourself. >> That's why they call it morbid obesity.
I was about. >> to say that. >> Well, no. I mean, that is I think that's. why. Okay. Is it. >> I think so. Okay. Amazon Chase card. >> Yes. >> $712.76. on here with a minimum payment of $35. Two years to pay this off. You're. purchasing still on a card that is oh. over the limit. This is also over the. limit by 12 bucks. What are we doing? >> That was probably my prime membership. >> Maybe pull out your Amazon for me. 107. in interest this year so far. I want to. see what you've purchased. We saw what's.
in your car. I want to see what you. purchased. What you're buying on Amazon. This is ridiculous. All this interesting. 107 this year so far. substantial balance in these minimum fee. payments are going to stack up for your. income. >> I I understand that and that's why I. feel like I'm in the position I am is. because of all the minimums. >> Okay, here's the purchases. Uh we got. some bra. We got love stuffed animals. hammock. Oh my gosh. Hammocks for our. stuffed animals. >> Yeah, I had a lot of stop stop.
Hyperallergenic nose stud women men. surgical something. Okay. 16 stainless. steel keychain. This all is so stupid, dude. Magic John two pack iPhone thing. You're iPhone stupid. Great. I don't. give a Okay, I don't care. You have no. money. >> What a dream. >> Laboo case. She got a laboo case. protecting. >> Oh, we're dying, ladies and gentlemen.
The the labu gods heard me about the on. this Laboo purchase. I'm not even using the case as the. thing. >> She's not even using the case as the. thing is, right? She got a protectorate. case and then she doesn't even use it. She just keeps it on her dumb. >> sight box mat. thing. iPhone. That's for my boyfriend. Flipflops. >> Just cover your toes, please. >> I am today. >> None of us need that. >> Covering them today. >> Velvet cloak with hood.
>> That was for my boyfriend. He was We were watching Harry Potter and. he was feeling very wizardy. >> Oh, I hate you guys. Oh, I'm sorry. What. the. What you You're 27. >> I'm not even really into Harry Potter. like that. What house are you? >> What do you think? >> Ravenclaw. >> Slytherin. >> My boyfriend is too. I'm a Hufflepuff.
Every entrepreneur and business owner is. in Slytherin. >> Really? >> Yeah. Tress, wellness, hard wax. >> [ __ ] more plushy [ __ ] There's. some closed towed shoes. Thank. >> I'm wearing them right now. >> Good. We're lucky. We're blessed. Oh. Oh, I got to note that you were. absolutely thrilled and absolutely. gushing on the phone with Colton that. you found out you can affirm on Amazon.
Yeah. >> Wonderful. Great. New financial unlocked. >> That's what most of my affirms usually. are is Amazon purchases. >> Well, something else we will be getting. to a firm then. >> Yeah. >> Merrick Bank. Visa. So, okay. It's a credit card. >> Yes. >> Purchasing again on a card that is over. the limit. This is three in a row. We've. looked at three cards. They're all over.
the limit. This one's over the limit by. $12. What the are you doing? You don't. care about anything. You don't give a, do you? >> I do, >> dude. You're over the limit on the three. cards we've looked at. Please explain to. me any kind of indication that suggests. you care. >> I'm here. >> That is Come on. I like that's exciting. I'm glad. But you haven't shown in your. actions that you care. Good. You sat in. front of a camera for two hours. I mean, that's not insignificant. I don't want. to discount that. But it's like you're. not doing anything in your own actions. and finances.
>> That's why I'm here because I want to be. a. >> I want to be able to take those actions. and be better. >> I hope so. $61,260. Minimum monthly payment $35. What? >> I was confused cuz when I first opened. the card, it was um like a 500 um credit. limit. >> Probably went up. >> It did. >> Great. >> I remember cuz then interest acred $1486. of interest acred after you purchase. pushed it up above. Great. Listen, you. can use the Fizz card. At least it's a. debit card that builds credit. That's. what I would allow you to do. And if you.
ever want to get a big girl job, I'll. get you a course career certification so. you can build your resume and do that. I'll help you with either of those. things. But listen, what's the critical. purchase? We did McDonald's. Shocker. Laundry cat. You don't have. laundry in apartment. Okay, that's fine. We we'll budget that. >> I've recently started going to my aunt's. house. She's like 15ish minutes away. from. >> Well, that's fine as well. And if you. have to pay for laundry, that's okay. like it is like if you don't have it in. in the place that's fine. I'm okay with. that. Uh but the McDonald's what the are. we doing and then pushing it above the.
credit limit not paying off a card. It. takes two years to pay off minimum. payments without purchasing but you. can't not go to McDonald's. It's all you. do. >> It's like 5 minutes away from the house. >> Why does that matter? It's money you. don't have. >> It's right there. >> Why does that matter if it's money you. don't have? There's McDonald's. everywhere. That's kind of what they're. known for. >> What's your McDonald's order? Um, so. lately I've been getting like the two. cheeseburgers and a fry. Like the two. cheeseburger meal and a fry. >> Two cheeseburgers. >> Yeah, they're small.
Sometimes I'll get a hot and spicy. >> Huh? >> Sometimes I'll get a hot and spicy. instead. >> That is no drink. >> Yeah, I'll get um either Dr. Pepper or. high sea. >> What size? >> Large. 40 years old, huh? >> I feel like I balance like the sodas out. because I drink do drink a lot of water.
I wish I I wish I wasn't so sane that to. laugh to. It's like you that is your. literal life. It's it's it's tragic. Okay. Capital one. What's going on with. this? >> Which one? >> Is this Oh, platinum. >> Which one? I have two. >> Uh, world.
>> Huh? >> Capital Platinum card. World Mastercard. >> World. >> That's what it says. I don't know. >> Um, probably wanted something that I. didn't have the money for. >> Oh, good. Yeah. It's a balance of $58. Does that help narrow it down? >> Not really. >> How could I tell you which one then if. not the balance would even answer it? She's over the credit limit. Four in a. row now. Four in a row. No, she's over. the limit. The limit's 500. You're over. the limit oning everything, dude. You're.
over the BMI limit. You're over on all. the credit limits. You're just. >> It was probably interest that brought it. over. >> No, you dumb. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm. sorry. I'm sorry. Shh. Quiet. That is. That is ridiculous. The interest alone. if you did not purchase and you made a. minimum payment would not do it. It. would never do it. Never. Never. Not. even on a payday loan would it do it. >> What did I purchase on that card? >> I will get into that. I need you to know. that it would not do that. >> Okay.
>> The minimum monthly payment is. constructed in a way where you will pay. it off. It will not just endlessly go. off. It might take forever, but it will. be paid off. But if you make a payment. and it goes $2 under the limit, then you. make a 20 $2.12 purchase. No. After the. interest and hints, it goes above. No, that's how it works. It's only cuz you. purchased because you made the choices. Choices. Yours. >> What? >> What was that? Taco Bell or McDonald's?
>> It was Door Dashing, which you said you. didn't do, you dumb tit. Popeye's. Then. you went into a gas station and got. probably a Celsius or something. >> I usually drink Monster. >> Great. You went in the gas station and. got some Monster. >> Probably. >> Is it Monster Zero? >> No. I like. >> For what it's worth, those things are so. calorically dense. They're insane. >> What do you mean dense? >> As in they have a ton of calories. >> Oh. >> For the amount that you're consuming. What? What is the calorie, Brandon? Do. you know? You You drink that, don't you?
>> Celsius. >> No, a monster. >> Oh, not every monster. That's. disgusting. Uh well no no no no. We. established on fat and fatter it is. actually quite yummy. But it's. >> they're like 250 calories. >> But it's like disgusting in terms of. health. >> But it but it's yummy. >> Monsters are like 200 calories a. monster. >> This is 10 calories. >> Yeah because it's Celsius. >> But the pipeline punch is so good. >> It's the best flavor. >> I'm googling it. And the normal one's. 230. It's probably. >> It's actually a little lower for what. it's worth. >> Oh, really? >> Um uh 200.
>> jazz hands. We're on a diet. >> Who's on a diet? >> Great. So, we got a monster and we door. dash Popeyes of which again we said we. did not do ever. >> I never said I never did it. >> It's kind of what you were at least. suggesting through your language. Replay. it. Throw it in. Not as expensive as. Door Dash. What? >> I don't Door Dash. I'll go like go and. pick something up. >> It's not as expensive as that. Come on. >> Well, let's just let's just call it 50. just to be safe cuz I don't know. Planet. F might be cheaper. I don't know. >> Okay. >> Uh you said you have a pet, right? >> Yes. >> What? >> A cat. >> Age? >> He is like seven. >> Uh I don't know if you can get pet. insurance on that. Maybe I'll I I'll put. in 60 bucks cuz you need to make sure. you get good pet insurance. How much for. cat food? >> Um, maybe 20. >> Anything else that needs to be in your.
budget that I have not put in yet? I. can't put anything in subscriptions cuz. we're already over budget. So, >> um, >> okay, you can uh Brandon got his cat S7. uh pet insurance. So, anything else that. needs to be in your budget? >> No. >> Okay. Well, $22923.79. Here's the thing. Stop with this food. splitting thing. You can't do that. I. would contri see see if you can. contribute to rent, not the full. utilities. Let's see if we can. contribute rent and utilities down the. middle. I think you will save more money. instead of you doing food. You're. actually getting kind of milked here.
You're getting a little you're spending. more money than you would. So, let's say. that brings it down to like 2,500. You're still pretty You need about an. extra $600 a month. If you want to stay. in this job, that's great. You need to. go work a second job, which means no. more Supernatural every single night. You're working you need to bring in at. least an extra,000 so you can throw $400. towards that. That's a minimum because. $400 towards debt at $26,99322. divided by that $400 is wait no. $26,99322.
divided by $400 is 67 months which comes. out to still 5 1/2 years but that's. better than nothing and you do got to. get out of debt. Unfortunately, with. five and a half years, that gives you. only, based on your history, seven more. years to live. And that's not even, by. the way, a fully funded emergency fund. Probably get five years to live with a. fully funed emergency fund. Not great. So, we got to change the health part as. well, but the meal prepping is going to. help with that. And I put it in a gym. That's going to help with that. Let's. start taking that seriously because I. want you to be around, okay? Okay. We.
got to film follow-ups together, right? So, let's let's stay let's stay on the. planet for a good long while. Um, so that's what you got to do. What I. would prefer is that you go and just get. a better job at a different place. And. then we always shop around until you. land somewhere that you like that you. are getting paid well for. That is the. ultimate goal. But you need to bring in. a minimum extra,000 where you are now. And you need to split rent utilities and. take care of your own food. Sprint. utilities is you split down the middle. That'll bring you down to about $2,500. cuz right now you need to bring an extra.
$1,500, $1,600 in order to have a chance to pay. this off in five and a half years. and. then fully fun emergency fund a year. after that maybe. Okay, so that's where. we are. Oh. Oh, they said I'm going to be pissed. Colton's saying I'm going to be pissed. I guess there's something in the post. show that's about to piss me the off. Great. Usually Okay, great.
