Debt Princess Begs Daddy To Save Her | Financial Audit
why don't you pay your bills what's the. point I'm already screwed are you. talking about no no no no no no no you. pay you make progress you get out of it. and then you're not screwed I'm single. but like I'm dating around okay what. dude in the right mind is going to. possibly possibly date you I grew up. hearing no a lot if I ask them what they. agree. yeah hi I'm Aubrey I'm 27 I'm from. Johnson City Tennessee and this is the. financial audit.
the financial a I've had a couple of. those oh sorry you want me do it again. no it's fine this is funny it's spent a. couple in a row saying that so thanks. for coming down what do you do in. Tennessee for a living so I've worked. for my dad for like the past five years. he has his own hardwood flooring. business okays yeah I just do like. inventory and job site management stuff. like that whatever he wants me to do I. just do that yeah and I really enjoyed. it but I was kind of like I really want. to do something not oh so you changed. yeah yeah yeah oh what what do you do.
for a living well that's when I moved to. Colorado and I started working there at. said you're from Tennessee so when you. mean from like OG from that's not where. you are yeah you're in Colorado I'm in. Colorado now oh where are you in. Colorado um so I am an Avon Colorado but. I work for Resorts do you know so is. this no is this a like a resort Town. yeah okay Resort towns can be kind of. expensive depending on the resort Town. itself yeah they get real interesting.
markets no no it's a very unique. situation like I didn't know anything. about it and then my sister-in-law she. told me about it and I was she's like. you should apply to like work there and. I was like so what do you make what's. what's your current position with them. so okay so I'm in transition right now I. was a lift operator but when I come back. I'm going to work for the golf course as. outside Services Golf Course okay so. summer part of the resort yeah okay and. so it's like it's seasonal work then. doing right now yeah so Golf Course.
won't it what are you going to be doing. when it's. snowing which happens in Resort. towns so yeah I it's still snowing there. right now yeah yeah but I guess what I. don't know what I'm going to do I have. no idea why' you move I just I wanted to. get away like I like so you get away but. with no plan I mean just work at the. resort like I live pretty cheaply and. employ how you pick that place why how. how.
how'd you land on that City said you've. heard of it from your sister but how'd. you land on that City cuz you're in no. position to not have an income by any. means like for eight months of the year. that doesn't make sense yeah but I mean. I just I don't know I need to get away. what I need to get away and I need to do. something okay there's a lot of other. places you can get away too but like you. went to a resort town so you're going to. be likely you're going to be working in. the economy of that town which is likely. focused around the tourism aspect of. that town those towns their main. industry is tourism whether you're not.
you're working for Hospitality or. working uh you know you could be in the. lodging business you can be in the. entertainment business you can be in the. restaurant business but you're likely. working in that sector and that sector. is very seasonal sometimes those towns. kind of die when it's not ski season now. it sounds like you know it might be a. little more diverse with the golf and. everything but but that's why I'm going. home right now for like a month and then. I might come back what the okay what do. you so what do you do what do you do for. money right now this this is so.
confusing already you're just not I'm. not I'm unemployed right now I do not oh. you're unemployed I'm not making money. right now oh good because that's great. that's okay but when I go home people. love it when people don't have jobs but. I'm going to go home and I'm going to. work for my dad for the month that I'm. there okay and how much do you make. doing that he pays me 19 an hour how. many hours a week do you work. 40 40 or. 40 like 30 35 40 it varies it varies.
just depending on how much work there is. or depending on how much you want to. work both both okay well which one would. take priority because I highly encourage. working yeah I mean I would think that. are you lazy I'm not lazy gosh no okay. definitely not just want to make sure. definitely not no I work I'm a hard. worker I just you're not working it's. just like when I go home I'm there.
temporarily so it's like mon a long time. though it's a 12th of a year but I kind. of want to like have fun with my friends. and hang out with my family and not. worry so much about work cool I don't. think we do that when we have a late. payment on a. card it'll be there it'll be it's. comedic ha yes I'm glad we're having so. much fun yeah I don't think we're not. fing working and I don't think we're. going and just hanging out with our. friends instead of picking up more hours.
when we could when we have a golden. opportunity because of our dad and the. hard work that they actually put into. their lives when we're missing a payment. on a card that has a balance of. $2,339 when the credit limit is. $2,200 I don't think we have a choice I. don't think we hang out with our friends. and do whatever you and your friends do. in that situation instead of working. well I mean what.
it'll be there though it's all I'm. saying it's going to be there what's. going to be there the the bill the bills. are always going to be there yeah no cuz. you don't pay them are are you what what. are you talking about I have fun that's. how Works fun yeah but. that's what's wrong with having. fun what the what tell me why you're. here tell me why you're here cuz I'm a. I'm allow that okay but you know cuz I. want to have fun I mean are you just. like a are you just trying to be like a. ditsy girl or like what what the are you.
right now like I just want to have fun. you know that's the dumbest thing that's. ever been said in the history of this. world I mean I just think it's important. to have a balance right but I know that. you didn't suggest a balance you didn't. suggest a balance you suggested I just. want to have fun I'm going to work I'm. going to 30 to 40 hours is it 30 or 40. and why not 50 when we're missing a. payment going to take those as cop laugh. so I don't kill myself well I want to I. don't know I just want to like go on the. lake are you taking this seriously yes.

I cuz I just I don't want to do that. this is why I asked if you're in cuz I. don't want to do that is what I'm going. to work that's. something 18 an hour so what you said. 19 cool so you'll make a grand total of. $3,000 that month and then you're going. to pay taxes on that okay so let's say. 2,200 come in comes in wonderful. wonderful wonderful.
wonderful what are you going to do with. that how is that going to be. lifechanging to you cuz it's not again. the balance on this card itself then. multiple cards after it. are. thousands so how's that going to change. what what are you laughing about no. you're right you're right you're right. how's it going to change I don't know I. don't know how it's going to change I. just I work work I got to work mhm what. what's do work history I've I got a.
degree in Business Administration you. have a degree okay yeah so I do have a. degree but it was working office. jobs so I was working office jobs and I. hated it I like working with my hands. and like it was just it just felt like. so limiting and like I was like caged in. a jail cell and I just like jail cell. yeah and I actually like my last job. this was like my last draw I was like I. was like working one day and is what was.
the job scheduling coordinator okay how. much did you make like 16 an hour yeah. okay yeah ridiculous can't live off of. that so oh my gosh I you are you can't. though just your presentation and you as. a person just like e I'm. sorry I have this thing where I can't. filter myself very well get me in. trouble but like uh you're you're.
uh I would not have liked you in high. school this is okay I'm a nice person. okay I am you seem Pleasant you just. seem. uh go ahead okay say what are you going. to say what you going to say say your. things all right so yeah I was working. there excited to be on but shut up like. take this seriously okay I was a. scheduling coordinator there and this. one day I got a phone call and we've got. this limit to where it's like 20 minutes.
if you're past 20 minutes and we need to. reschedule your appointment well he. wasn't listening when I told him he told. me he was going to be there like 30. minutes past his appointment and I told. him I was like okay we're going to need. to reschedule that and he's like okay. well I'm going to come anyway I'll be. there and I was like okay no sir we need. to Res what I listening to right now. what what do this what does this have to. do with this at all okay I'm getting to. it anyway so then he comes in and. basically he's like I want to speak to. your manager blah blah blah nless to say.
I got fired so that was my last STW and. I was like okay that was a big jump I'm. not wanted to talk to my manager. needless to say I got fired yeah that's. a gap well is I yeah I mean they spoke. to my man they had no tolerance for you. know pushing back on the on the guest. and I was like okay well by the way. because of your attitude people are. going to think you're here for clout.
what do you mean are you here for clout. no I'm not here for it's pretty much. impossible cuz you're using a fake name. and you have nothing to push anyway so. but like people are going to they're. like they're going to be like have real. people on if you exist in the real world. dude these are the real. people but anyway I got I got fired and. then that's when I realized that I don't. I'm not cut out for the office jobs and. so then that's when I started working. for my dad and yeah but it sometimes it. just might not be a choice well it's. certainly not a choice uh when you are.
fired um because obviously you need to. leave it's been chosen for you right but. I yeah work for your dad that's great. yeah but right now you're not working on. making any money and again okay let me. start going through this. $2,339 uh but the credit limit is $2,200. fees $40 because we didn't pay because. we're uh entitled and living off of our. dad and uh instead of paying our bills. we have leafies and then interest the. crws of $54 27 great wonderful what.
would you give yourself don't here what. would you give yourself 0 to 10 what's. your financial score where you are right. now I know they have schools in. Tennessee come. on that was mean I can't stop being four. a. four this is why how many episodes have. you seen like ma'am like four three or. four okay if you want your Hammer. Financial score you can get it for free. in the description below. and if you want to come on save me from.
this Insanity you can apply to me on the. show at Caleb hammer.com apppp I did I. did do that and what did it say I think. it was like a one or maybe less than. that okay and it's at 30% shocker to. nobody which one's that one one we just. went over the American Express just 30%. Delta Sky miles yeah what do you think. it was have you ever. looked not. really why do you apply to come on cuz. you applied through our website so like.
you click the link in the description. below and then you went to our website. so why why did you apply to come on. because I'm in so much dead and I know. that you help but am I magical though am. I magical because you have to be. receptive to it it dosn't like if we. just sit down and you're just like like. I can't do anything with that okay I am. receptive and I'm willing to like take. the criticism and learn from it okay. maybe I've just maybe I've just become. jaded from this conversation so far. I'll try to come in with an open mind.
okay we owe. $3,135. 48 with a minimum monthly payment of. $199 get off of me you little fly was a. fly from the watered. plant get away you it's the second time. now he's telling you to stop being my oh. good oh fantastic good I'm glad we don't. have a job right now this this makes. sense it's the thing of our friends yeah. $40 a fees why oh oh Mis payment Mis.
payment two two Mis payments now we've. gone through two documents and two Mis. payments interest charge. $484 great 150 bucks this year so far. why aren't you paying can you answer. that question why aren't you paying why. aren't you paying your bills you're. right bills will always be there if you. don't pay them why don't you pay your. bills I'm not paying them because I. don't know why I'm not paying them I. should pay that's not an answer I do pay. on them but like when it gets to this.
point I just feel like oh well just I'm. just not going to pay on anymore cuz. what's the point I'm already screwed. what the you talking about no no no no. no no you pay you make progress you get. out of it and then you're not screwed. what do you mean but I where I live. paycheck to paycheck it's so hard you. don't have a paycheck what paycheck are. you paycheck to paycheck with you don't. have a paycheck you don't make money for. now I don't but paycheck to paycheck. you're around to around your friend to. friend paycheck to paycheck how would.
you actually make a paycheck and I'll be. proud oh I am irritated I am irritated. oh okay oh let's try to not go gosh. people don't know what it's like to sit. in the seat this is. okay what what even was this for what'. you get which one's that one best oh. okay so I first got the credit card when. I was getting a laptop that's when I. first opened it they gave me a 4000. credit line and then it just it just.
seems so easy to put a TV on and an. Apple Watch yeah yeah I had this. ex-boyfriend and I didn't have any money. to get him anything for Christmas and so. I just got him Apple watch and I put it. on credit. card yeah what are we doing and I. shouldn't have done that I know I. shouldn't have done that but and learned. your lesson to not do it yes oh my what. are you are you obviously not a credit. card person never you need to close are.
you willing to chop up your cards and. close your accounts okay I have a. question though oh I have a question all. right by closing my credit card are you. going to ask the question you said. you've seen the show fine ask it okay by. closing the credit cards though does. that not like lose all my credit. history which I should have credit. history right did you watch the show. with the volume turned off.
no I am willing to cut up the credit. cards though I am willing to cut up the. credit cards I don't even I don't even. know where all of them are yeah but. they're probably attached to like. digital wallets that's true that's true. what credit. perhaps are you trying to take advantage. of in your. life but but but but but I've never. heard of a new wasad it was never heard. a new deck called but or seven I had a. think give it was I give a where it is.
right now my credit score was below 600. guess what it's like 800 now you think I. say oh but it was below 600 when I was a. piece of done with my money so what I've. proven that I can manage my money now. and I have a good credit score if you've. had good credit score in the past and. it's right now you've proven that you're. bad with money and you can't handle. credits okay so what credit are you. trying to take advantage of the that's. just what I heard that should do answer.
the question answer the question with an. answer an. answer not a statement not a question. not a but answer the question please. please please please please. please. please I mean a credit score the credit. score that I have now is not good but. it's better than nothing all than what. you kidding me can you not answer my. question can you seriously not answer it.
are you incapable no I'm capable capably. answer it then what credit are you. planning to take advantage. of like right now I don't okay I don't. know I just think that okay I just think. that any credit is better than no credit. if you're going to take advant okay what. if I close some credit cards but then. keep some open not close all of them I'm. saying to close them because you can't.
control them you spend on them they're. above the credit card limits you're not. making your payments you are not a. credit card person you cannot have. access to them because the credit. industry is bending you over and you are. not taking advantage of them they are. taking advantage of you you in no way. whatsoever are getting any benefit. they're getting all the benefit and. rewards that they seek and they gain off. of you they are taking advantage of you. you shouldn't have access to these if. you're going to use one use the fist.
card cuz Elita you have to pay it it. acts like a charge card. okay okay the American EX card Co I. don't want to be here right now okay. okay I get flight points so that's good. for something I'm going to burn this. building to the ground are you joking. with me or you just like legitimately. like okay if I close all of them but. keep that one though because of the. Flight Credit oh my gosh okay throw a. tantrum then it's beneficial shut just.
stop I'm trying to just I need a second. I need a second these interest rates are. like. 30% you're probably getting like with. the miles maybe at the best what. 5% 5% rewards on your purchases if you. break it down they're taking. 30% meaning in the end you're losing. 25% there is no benefit to what you're. doing. plus there's compounds with the balance.
that grows your rewards don't as in the. higher your balance goes because of the. interest and because of not making. payments the higher the interest. continues to accumulate because the. balance is larger and it just compounds. on. itself get on a plane with your own damn. money you cannot use credit cards okay. you can okay go ahead I just don't have. the money but I've got the well if you. don't have the money that speaks for. itself yes fun fact it's not a Rainbow.
Land I wish we could all do everything. that we wanted to do but we live in the. economic structure we live in and this. is not the show to say when I wish let's. change do that at The Ballot Box this is. a how do you navigate at the structure. if you cannot afford. something you cannot afford. it brand new concept invented right here. ladies and gentlemen no one's ever heard. of it before Okay so chop up my credit. cards don't get any more credit cards.
close the account so you don't have. access to them can't put them in a. digital wallet you cannot be trusted. with them we've gone over two you're not. paying. them and one of them was over the credit. limit. okay oh okay okay I'm listening I'm. listening yeah I just looked down I just. looked down you know what happened when. I look down we're over another credit. limit so this is over another no you.
really didn't know I didn't know no how. did how did you not know I don't look at. them I don't look at them I don't okay. you're GNA listen we're going to do some. teaching here and I'm going to help you. build on a temporary budget in the end. but you're going to go through a. budgeting class you're going to learn. how to actually scan your accounts and. go through them and make sure you manage. them on a monthly basis we're going to. handhold you and help you with that. you're going to go through the quizzes. but for okay you need to look at your. account counts man it just always feels.
like it's easier just to not look at. them and just kind of dissociate from. the reality of the situation that I'm in. yeah that is easier you're right face it. you're right that's easier in the moment. it's kicking the can down the road but. that can just gets bigger and bigger and. bigger and eventually it just becomes a. massive Boulder that when you kick it. just can't move because everything. becomes due and the minimum monthly. payments are higher than you want then. you have to fa you're either facing. bankruptcy or you're facing Collections. and collections usually there's nothing. coure involved but Tech Tech Al legally. they can man and you can get screwed.
over dude and in that case your credit's. not even a part of the thing you care. about at that point cuz of they in. collections your credit score is tanked. anyway I mean you're the late payments. and Mis payments like that's going to. start stacking on your credit as well. like so this credit thing that you care. about so much like you're already doing. what's you're over the balance I mean. you shouldn't be over. 33% that's when it really starts to. negatively impact your credit you're. over 100% on two cards we've looked at. so so far so I don't know what credit. thing is that you you've even.
mentioned in no way are do you have a. good credit score you're not doing. anything that would suggest so so again. $2,970 oh sorry. $397 31 with a did you just laugh. you it's not funny it's not funny it's. just how I work through it okay no it's. okay C laugh cop laugh it just it just. kills me every time cuz I just want to. make sure that you're taking it. seriously I am I am I I believe you are. I just also believe that maybe you're.
just you. know okay uh so you're over it by $70. and 31 cents cuz the credit limit is. $3,900 fees fees oh what is the fee. please for all oh it's the P two fee. three in a row three in a row what are. we doing here what is your life three in. a row $96 of Interest $300 this year so. far what what is happening what ising. happening dude what is three in a row. this is disgusting just look at it just.
look at it look at that just look at it. how can you accept that how can you. accept that how do you go to sleep. knowing your past due on bills. peacefully because I don't think about. it but this is forcing me to think about. it and I thank you for that I don't like. that I don't like that at all you. couldn't have done this yourself I. haven't done anything revolutionary here. today yeah it is helpful to have someone. to talk about the severity of my.
situation cuz otherwise I just ignore it. I have a couple cards here they look. like Credit One are these through Credit. One because Capital One no credit one I. said Credit. One not c one uh this one Discount Tire. it looks like but okay no it's being. made build to synchrony synchrony Own. Credit one that'd be crazy but maybe I I. don't know but this looks exactly like a. Credit One statement but it's a Discount. Tire card so I assume we had to get a.
tire yeah so of course I didn't have. money and you what and my tires need to. be replaced so I had to go and get a. credit card for that and I I don't think. that I've been paying on that one uh oh. yeah there it is there it is yeah I. honestly want to say that that account. might be closed I'm not sure well not. closed probably sold off the collections. well closed yeah but not gone I want to. make sure you know that doesn't mean. it's gone that's.
unfortunate but yes I know that that oh. my gosh I know that that. means I. need nobody get calls all the time and I. just ignore them so I would assume that. that's what that is I haven't it's been. a while I've seen people as. irresponsible as you but it's been a. long time this is impressive impress. thank you very much I know this makes no. sense right now but follow me what is. your current dating life okay I'm single. but like I'm dating around okay what.
dude in their right mind is going to. possibly possibly date you with this. this shows that you can't manage. pencil yeah I'm well aware of that and. that's why I don't really talk about. that yeah but they will learn have you. ever been close to engagement yes I've. been engaged really how'd that fail I. just wasn't happy I wasn't happy so I. ended it but no he made good money and. like knew how you were and how you would. destroy his entire Financial life Love's.
more important sometimes listen I mean. sometimes. uh he he tried to he tried to help me. but prevailed over money yeah. that's no I yeah he tried to help me but. I I was just ignoring it and he tried to. help you yeah he did but I don't want. like someone to financially help me out. of the situation like I don't want like. what the you want you won't hunt.
yourself you won't let someone else help. you what what the do you want then I. want to figure it out for myself I put. myself any it well but you've put. nothing into it like there's not a. single sign there's not even aing like. Pebble to suggest on a grain of sand. like nothing you would do there would be. a payment at. least like this is one of the most. irresponsible and I know I'm dogging on. you but it's just like this is one this. has this is easily one of the most. irresponsible situations I've ever seen.
in my entire life hands down not over. exaggerated by any means yeah that's for. the hardcore fans you're up there with. uh Tyler with her car and Taquito man. with his taquitos like this is. wild I know I know it's awful I wish I. never discovered credit cards in the. first place yes which is want you close. them never open them again how' it get. this bad in the first place how did it. get this bad like when did this all. start okay okay love my parents to death.
okay but I grew up hearing no a lot like. they gave me everything I needed but. everything I wanted I didn't get. necessarily if I asked them what they. agree what's that if I asked them would. they agree. yeah yeah I think so I think they would. cuz they didn't want me to grow up. spoiled and entitled like you described. so if if if if you let me call them. right now will they agree. can we call your dad yeah okay ring him.
up he Hey Dad how you go well I'm still. here I'm talking with Caleb and he. wanted to talk to you. okay hello sir I have a question um sure. so your daughter is on my show right now. are you aware of the show by any chance. uh I am not but she did tell me about it.
okay she made a interesting claim. because we're going through her finances. she's she's made an interesting Claim. about her past that as she was going as. she was being raised she got anything. she needed but there was essentially not. a single time in her life where she. asked for something and she was given. what she was asked for I'm having. trouble believing that but we want to. see if that is true from your. perspective. um well you know.
she's she's always had everything she. ever needed as far as I think she's seen. other kids her age maybe a parent will. give them an. excessive uh gift like a car or. something we always tried to make her. work for. things um where I feel like she felt. like she was a little more entitled to. some things that she should have worked. for gotcha if that's what maybe yeah I. feel like that that's kind of been where.
she's may be coming from regarding that. what about like vacations and like toys. and gifts and stuff like. that oh yeah I mean she always got had a. great Christmas great okay uh I mean got. any outfit or whatever she ever needed. and then we tried to make her work as. she got older because we're not always. going to be here so yeah to teach her. that responsibility but. all right yeah well I appreciate your.
time sir thank you so much sure okay. well thank. you all right thanks. bye okay see no it's not entirely wrong. uh you he he he said things like cars. you think you're entitled to get a car. from your parents if they could provide. it and they wanted to for sure I was. actually very lucky where I got a hand. me down from a grandparent situation. that like was incredibly lucky but like. most people I knew and honestly it.
probably would have helped myself in. that moment if I had to work you know. and even save up 25% and then they' take. care of the rest even something like. that that would be beneficial to me but. no you didn't he he specifically said. you got any clothes you wanted you got. the gifts you wanted you got all the. good stuff you're just talking about a. high ticket item like a car which like. no. [ __ ] like how how do you feel you're. entitled to that and he specifically. used the word entitlement as well. so like what are you talking about I.
just I feel like also we are if if if. the phone call is in the conversation. that means after the fact we will have. gotten consent from him that it was. recorded and put in the. conversation I. just okay I don't want to say that you. know I I am entitled to those things. right but it's like at the same time. because of not getting certain things. like that this is where I'm I'm wrapping.
it in okay so because I didn't get. things like that and I did hear no quite. a bit when I turned 18 I realized I. didn't have to say no anymore I didn't. have to hear no and I was like wow I'm. an adult now and so then I discovered. the world of credit cards why don't you. act like an adult. though we're working on it okay and it's. a little late late in the game N9 years. later it's never too too late it's never. too late to turn this around well no.
I've I've come across a couple. situations where I would say it was too. late you're headed there okay okay well. I don't want to continue down that path. right make money but okay okay when I. turn 18 is when I discovered the world. of credit cards and I got had this. little boyfriend at the time and he's. like you should get a Capital One. student card I was like okay it can be a. great way to start yes but you Wen not. responsible and he advised me he's like. just use it for food and gas Essentials. it was just like a a little $300 limit.
and so I started with that and I did. well with that but then discover reached. out to me or no I think I applied to get. one of the cards and then it was like it. was like a $1,000 limit and then they. just kept giving me more and more and. and then it got to the point where it's. like an $8,000 limit I'm just like this. is crazy I can use it for whatever I. want why did you Max the mo every time. why' you take them right up to their. limit if you were someone who cares.
about your credit card self professed oh. uh uh credit score sorry I I did care. about my credit score I really did and I. had a really good one why'd you give up. did something happen was it the post. engagement by. chance did did you see a collapse and. just like care everything about that I. would say I would say a good majority of. my spending is due to like being in an. unhealthy relationship for so long and.
that's kind of what I did why was it. unhealthy come on we didn't you weren't. you what it just he was he was very. controlling and he just like didn't let. me have my own space and I just felt. like very confined so like my only. relief was like to spend money and on. whatever I could whenever I could when. I'd start to feel bad like I just like I. go shopping or like see something online. and be like oh this will make me feel. better and like temporarily it did and.
then it just got to the point where it's. like I'm so in over my head it's like it. it doesn't matter you know what's going. on in my life I literally can't spend. money anymore and you know so that's. kind of like the point that I met still. do fun fact I me we haven't got there. yet but we like halfway. through I just I don't know I just feel. like I I'm at the point now where it's. like I can't physically spin any more. money on my credit cards on my credit.
cards okay Capital One speaking of the c. or speaking of. discover let's discover we have Discover. It discover how to get. completely by that that one was my. favorite you know how they got me is. because every month they'll give you. like a 5% back on like Target or am oh. the game the game you fell for the game.
so hard $643 89 minimum monthly payment. that's what's doe interest. $130 kill me credit score they think. it's uh FICO uh. 590 590 yeah well let's let's really. care about our credit score when it's. 590 yeah. that's big. smart okay we have a mattress room card. again this looks like I guess it is. synchrony but it looks like a one but. okay so.
1,325 is ODed on it and 16 cents these. are stacking my dude these are stacking. stacking. stacking. uh pleas why why why it's interest free. no interest charge are you on an. interest free. thing uh. oh but it's interest free until until. until paid off I think it was a promo.
but if you you're getting but you're. getting fees though but miss a payment I. think then it starts occurring are you. because you're again you're getting fees. like it's making up for it anyway with. $51 minimum monthy. payment you made a payment here like. congratulations like finally you did the. bare minimum but I did good I made a. payment Eastern Credit Union oh this the. car H so it's a 3% isn't it mhm 3% see.
that's awesome that's really cool love. that it is like the breath of fresh air. in this conversation minimum monthly. payment though I can't figure that out. what is it uh it's 325 what is the car. it's a Mazda CX5 year 18 we owe $. 13, 35059. mhm but I think that the reason why I. got such a good interest rate on that is. because at the time my credit score was.
good oh and then just a straightup. classic synchrony card $. 34824 with the minimum monthly. [Music]. payment $30 gosh these ones are harder. to read your pass to no no there it is. we're back we're back ladies and. gentlemen I'd like interest on the app. interest it like closed it to where I. can't even make make a payment on there. so I have to like call to do that what.
do you again what so what what do you. plan to do after a month I want to know. what do you plan to do after a month. with your dad cuz I'm glad you're going. to make like 2,400 that but what do you. what are you plan on doing after that so. I'll go back to Colorado and I'll work. at the golf course yeah but that's. hardly an option that'll get you through. the summer what's your career what do. you want to do you have something to. business administration which is great A. Bachelor and I can gift you like a. certification thing through course. careers for Tech stuff but like what do. you want to do which are great by the.
way I love those things yeah for resume. boosters so I have this. dream of having my own mobile bar and I. looked into it a mobile bar mobile bar. yeah walk me through that I don't drink. okay all right so it's essentially just. like you can use like a little horse. trailer and you just design it to be. able to like have a tap coming out of it. or like other drinks and then you just. go to like weddings or corporate.
events yeah yeah and I don't know I just. really like the idea of it because it's. not only so you have to sell people. bringing you to them it's even harder. than convincing people to come to you. just straight up but you could take it. anywhere how are you going to fund. something like that yeah you can take it. anywhere but you got to convince people. to pay you to take a places it's it's a. pretty low upfront cost like really like. to get one it's like I would say like 10. ,000 for the trailer okay and then all.
the materials yeah I would say like the. biggest thing that's kind of H me back. from doing it is the licensing the. licensing is hard to obtain especially. in Tennessee and there's equipment. inside as well and you have to be able. to haul it can you do that in a Mazda. CX5 I don't I'm not really sure what the. towing is but potentially potentially I. didn't get that far into looking into it. but I mean worst case I would just have. you thought about your future yeah yeah. but you haven't looked into if you can. even do this no I have so you want this.
you want you this is your career path. that you want to do you want to be a. small business owner which I which I. love but yeah I think that that would be. fun I could take it any bartending. experience no I thought about picking up. a secondary job in Colorado as a. bartender so I I don't think that's not. an option yeah I think that's you're. doing that like now yeah but there's a. lot there's there's t of opportunities. like have you ever done anything. entrepreneurial I know your dad is but.
like he's been running it for a while. and sounds like a hard worker yeah I. haven't how are you expecting to fund. this you're not going to be able to. borrow anything who's going to let you. borrow under 600 credit score and your. debts completely maxed out if you go. bankrupt if you let them fall into. collections it's going to be even worse. so how are you expecting to come up with. $10,000 if you can't even pay minimum. Mony payments how are you getting. $10,000 a minimum by the way I highly. doubt this is just going to cost like an. price at $10,000 and if it is feel like. you're going to be competing with other.
things that are much nicer but go ahead. how are you coming up with it not the. new dreams but I'm just trying to be. realistic no no I. would and I've thought about it I just I. I think the figured out the first thing. that I thought about and you're not. going to like it was a personal loan. yeah how are you going to get qualified. though but it's you ever heard of like. good debt that you can go into to bring. yourself out of a bad debt. consolidation no like like I would be.
going into debt but once I do that small. bus loan yeah and then once I think you. would. qualify and like you you have a fully. fleshed out business plan that you can. present to A lender not yet I started. working I started working on it but then. I stopped working on it when I realized. licensing was so hard to obtain and it. just really wasn't option it really. wasn't an option then that's. still you think you qualify for. someone's going to lend you money you a.
proven track record of irresponsibility. they're going to lend you. money you know you're by not taking care. of your bill you say you're just letting. it go because it's easier not to think. about well now it stands in the way of. your goal yeah like doesn't it become a. much bigger priority now yeah exactly so. why haven't you done anything then cuz. that kind of changes the picture of what. you've mentioned before I think I just. haven't I don't know I just haven't. dealt with it because I didn't want to.
face the reality and then now that I'm. thinking about like wow I'm not like in. my early 20s anymore you know I want. to you know get out of this debt I don't. want to be so limited I want to be a. like dude your checking account has $70. in it and everything's online shopping. you're just you're an addict you're an. addict yeah everything's just you. [ __ ] Apple airm Spotify you can. listen to ads I'm not saying people. shouldn't have Spotify but you can. listen to ads well you can't pay a.
minimum monthly payment it's as simple. as that masabi going inside a gas. station getting some. [ __ ] ven Moon out money fast Vape. Wildwood Laur Prime video Starbucks. Westby ven Ming out money going inside. getting some bull a gas. station uh Joe S trans oh Hulu great. fantastic that's a great service that. when we can't pay a minimum payment oh. Resorts you're giving them money instead.
of them giving you money that's awesome. stopping at a liquor store Burger. King laundry that's. okay Koo mid liquor store Wildwood. affirming Bridge Street go inside. getting some [ __ ] oh good the more. giving the money instead of them giving. you money Wolf People fast Vape just. smoking our life away sum are. Val Chipotle. Chipotle Amazon Burger King going inside.
getting some going inside getting some. and getting some liquor drinking smoking. getting the taquitos and shopping online. every day of our. life yeah so with. that I've feel like I can't spend. anymore bull like every purchase of. yours was Bull. uh what's you're not making any. sacrifices it's like you've just given. up yeah essentially I have because I.
haven't been paying on this stuff I did. what are you waiting for what's the. outcome that you're expecting I know you. don't like to think about it but I mean. it's impossible that your brain hasn't. like said like oh here's a likely. outcome you know like what what are you. expecting to happen what do you think is. going to. happen I think that I'm going to figure. a way out of this okay give me some of. the paths that you thought would be ways. oh way can't just be saying there's. going to be a way give me some of the.
paths that you've. envisioned okay so the mobile bar but. obviously that's not option right now I. thought about bartending so that I could. Acquire The Experience little bit of. income and then now how are you going to. prevent yourself from immediately. spending all that new income oh that's a. tough part that's what you're doing. right now you only have $70 in chicken. account yeah cuz you spent it all on. online shopping B looker Vapes toito. that's that's where the discipline is. going to come in that's going to be the. hardest part because I get I get really.
bad fomo from missing out on fun right. just like talking about going back home. and like I want to you know go out with. the girls go out with the girlies and. have a good time and girlies they're. poor too probably most Americans are but. you don't have to be why don't you be. the good one why don't you be the one. that lens ends up you know living a good. life you know yeah are they high school. friends. no College friends no yeah I met him.
College when you go to like some kind of. college re Union if people even do that. I don't know why don't you be the one. that's not a failure yeah I mean they. both they both have careers so they're. actually I guess doing better than me in. that respect but well trust me that. doesn't mean everything people blow. their money yeah I don't know I just. possibly so yeah I think like doing. bartending was a big thing that I. thought about you know I I I see with. the giving up thing I I just see. patterns you're just running away you. ran away from the engagement you ran.
away from home to Colorado to just. Escape you just kind of run you you're. kind of verbally running away from this. conversation sometimes just defle that's. not the first time I've heard that then. that should mean something I know that. should mean something I think that's of. you know you just kind of deflect and. run and get out of an uncomfortable. situation instead of facing the actual. issue a hand. yeah and I think that might be the first. step for you is actually like sitting. down and addressing I've gone through.
your documents but what you're going to. have to do it on a monthly basis is I. need you to sit down and go over your. documents see what happened in this last. month and see what you need to fix to. change things for this next month did I. miss a payment here oh why did that. happen what do I need to do to make sure. it doesn't happen next month where do I. start making progress where can I cut. down my spending this you get in the uh. the class you're going to go through but. but it's something I just need you to. start regardless right nice it's just so. overwhelming it is but it gets more.
overwhelming the longer you put it off I. know it does I know it it's a basic. basic tenative responsibility to just. actually start working on it now cuz. you're just going to make it harder and. harder and if you're expecting some dude. to sweep in and like ba you out that's. not going to happen if you're expecting. mom and dad to swoop in and ba you out. maybe but they shouldn't they won't good. good they shouldn't they shouldn't cuz. you'll learn nothing and you'll get into. the same situation you got into already. yeah the only person who can actually do. this for the longevity of your.
life is you because if anyone helps you. out you're just going to get into it. again you got to fix it now by. addressing your behavior and by. addressing your financial discipline and. everything and if you don't then it's. just it's just you're getting yeah. that's the biggest thing is I feel like. I spend all my money on like food and. drinks because it's like that's what you. do to like have fun with your friends. it's like well she told Noah before you. came in here that you're willing to drop. everything again and flee run yeah that.
you wanted to run again to California. this. time what just want I want to travel the. world I've lived in the same small town. my whole life no you live in Colorado. Okay aside from. that so you went to college in that town. yeah I did what college it was Northeast. State okay it's just a little small. College there no sure yeah um. okay I would love you to travel the. world do you can afford it you have many.
decades left if you don't smoke and. drink it. away that's me teasing that's me teasing. I would stop The Vaping I would stop The. Vaping just because we do not know the. long-term consequences so much easier. set down I know the nicotine. concentration those things so hand in. hand with like when I drink but that's. not good either at least turn the. nicotine into productivity girl make. some money you're just taking you're. just yeah okay you also spend $60 a year. on Rocket money and you do not use it.
and they're they're a supporter of the. show and I'm a supporter to them and. they're a great app I'm not getting paid. for saying that. um but you're just what's the point of. paying for it if you're not using it. yeah I think with that app is just like. every time I go in there I have to like. update all my information dude it's. going to take work it's effort life. isn't this thing where you just get. just sit down on a in know roller.
coaster seat and then go on the ride you. got to put an effort dude I know I do I. know I do and that's like some basic yes. you have to track what you do with your. money this world moves via money even. the Communist World moved via money like. you got to manage it I know I have to. manage it cuz I'm tired of living like. this I really am like then then I. literally like paycheck to paycheck and. it's ridiculous like like I just live in.
this like World of scarcity like every. week it's like when I get paid it's okay. all this has to go to this bill and it. has to go to this bill and it has to go. and I'm literally left with like maybe. like a100 to $200 maybe 300 for. myself and then I'm like okay the cards. right now and prove it if you're willing. to I'm not going to pressure you into. doing it I want it to be your action so. are you going to okay yes I will cut. them up cuz I do going bring scors to.
you right now okay bring I don't even. know what cards I have with me go ahead. and. check oh no also people do not get that. Tan in. Colorado it's fake say clouds yeah was. good I try to get out in the okay the. sun is a lot stronger in Colorado though. I only have one and this one's going to. hurt the most I'll have you know because. this is the one that has the flight. points this is my favorite one. make sure you guys are bluring this. Mosaic.
tracking this literally hurts way worse. than any of the other ones but even if. it is blurred to protect their identity. it is a credit card boom there we go. okay there I did it you did. it I'm going to go cry now was that it. that's all the ones I have with me I. told you I don't keep the other ones. with. me proud. kind of minimal effort but that's okay. it feels very relieving though good it.
does that's good I wasn't expecting to. feel that way I've never done that by. the way guys we recently launched two. new shows that I think you're going to. love first is your week in money during. the show I break down major economic. business and financial news that. happened this past week and then give my. own personal weird and hopefully. humorous take on them and the second is. our financial audit follow-up Channel. they're just quick casual conversations. with people of on the show seeing where. they're at and what we can do to make. sure they get to a better place we aim.
to have those episodes posted most. Thursdays of each week and for your. weekend money right now they're being. uploaded every Saturday morning for you. make sure to check out those channels. Linked In the description below all. right Deb payments is only 2% cuz you. only made a couple payments out of all. the other ones that were missing housing. is 1.2% how does that make sense you. don't have rent no I do have rent yeah I. do have rent oh then you didn't give it. to us 12.8% or $341 in 208 cents went to. Transportation going to the grocery. store $291 144 or 10.9% of your spending.
but going out to eat was. $23.79 or 12.1% of your spending $263 43. went to unknown shopping at 9.9% that's. usually Amazon or Walmart can't 100%. tell what it is subscriptions 1.4% there. was like Hulu and there was Spotify and. some other stuff in there miscellaneous. bull you do not need but you just go. you're online shopping $83 26% of you're. spending or 30 .1% all that could have. been going towards debt you could have. made minimum monthly payments other.
large purchases $526 52 or 19.7% of your. spending the other large. purchases v m out money the Apple cash. the hotel uh laundry and that one's okay. and then Petco you have pets I do I've. got a husky that's cute I know and a. proper climate for it as well I know she. loves it she hates Texas so she's not. doing so well here oh she's here right. now yeah well you flew. no I drove no I drove yeah okay yeah. with the dog with the dog that's pretty.
cool yeah I had to give her some CBD oil. was say the C down she was not having it. just to do the show no I'm staying with. my mama right now she lives in a little. what my. MMA I'm assuming that's a grandma or. Aunt this my grandmother yeah it's a new. one I've never heard that one you never. heard of MMA I've heard of Grandma. grams uh Grandma Grand. mother no I'm I'm from the south you.
should know I'm not from the south oh I. didn't know that where you from well I. don't have no action now do I Lady ma'am. I do a little bit I'm from Michigan. that's why it sounds like sometimes I'm. Canadian okay. okay no but it's like a 14 and a half. hour drive to get here long yeah oh your. debt minimum payments you're insane but. this cuz you're behind on some payments. so I don't think this is what it. traditionally is but. $1,828 right now it's probably closer to.
like 1,200 bucks. normally but you're just behind on some. payments but even still it's insane for. someone who brings in no money what's. your rent like 600 how's it so cheap cuz. it's employee housing okay utilities. included internet included mhm okay gas. vroom vroom drive drive how much monthly. basis I would say um 150. car insurance. 117 okay your $300 for food for.
groceries $100 for TP fund anything else. you need to survive uh it's like. literally anything else that you need to. survive Medical Healthcare anything Ono. there yeah I've got. insurance okay that's that's not taken. out of your paycheck before it. hits you pay for it separately no it. comes out it comes out to 100 but it. comes out before your pay hits right. yeah but you don't we you're not making. money right now so I'm confus how happen. no I'm sorry no it's it's separate I.
don't no I don't get it through them. through. the subscriptions doesn't make sense. right now but dog food sure 150 bucks uh. just everything related to dog because I. saw you spent a lot in PCO that's a that. can be a lot I don't know how much I got. a groomed so that was that was like a. 100 I you kind have to for huskys I only. did that like I only did that like twice. a year cuz she was shedding so bad um I. would say 50 mhm. month I I 75 yeah I would say 50 50 yeah.
yeah okay so 50 for dogs okay let's see. what we got going to do probably your. normal debt payments just so we get a. better idea of what you need to survive. again it's very hard for me to break. Downy here's what to pay off first and. it's going to take this many months. because you don't make money right now. how how much are you going to make on a. weekly basis uh at the golf course um I. don't know what it comes out to be but. it's 27 an hour yeah but how many hours. a week 40 and it's only during the warm.
months though right so it go until. October 27 an hour mhm so 4,320 a month. probably what 3,500 bucks a month. nsh so I mean you'll make. 21,000 before you don't make any more. money. n. uh your debt Stacks up to $ 33,6 77 and. it's all bad debt so I don't think we're. uh doing well oh it's your phone bill as.
well I missed that category 60 okay. switch to helium there are boys it's 20. bucks a month same Towers helium okay. helium yeah we'll send you a link okay. so add another 20 on top of it for that. so obviously the importance of this. conversation. um it's not an investing conversation. they never are this the shows is meant. to be like starting at the basics and it. lights a fire under the audience fire.
under your keeps people in check ready. you go this isn't supposed to be some. groundbreaking revolutionary you're. going to learn the ins and outs of I. show never has been I don't know why. people expect it to be they're weird but. either way I'm trying to figure out what. to do with you obviously the most. important thing that you I need you to. walk away with is okay now you know what. your situation and how it is and there's. been hopefully helpful tips obviously. we're going to set you up with resources. like the class and things like this and. then you have access to us as much as. you want to but from this conversation.
specifically how bad your situation. is uh and uh what you need to survive on. a minimum monthly basis and also some. techniques to cut down on your spending. and essentially just what you need to do. in order to survive but one big thing. that I think is missing I when you go. through the debt for you just to see. progress I it's going to be best for. your brain just do small stes so I would. just do that once income starts coming.
in a new. budget what i is going to be very. important to you instead of always. running from things and escaping things. I need you to figure out some career. thing something you're passionate about. something that you would enjoy doing on. a daily basis even if you're not making. an you know I would love you to make a. lot of money but if your career is. something that's like you know we're in. the lower income scale we can still find. ways to live a good life with that. especially if you're passionate about I. want you to feel the de what are some of. your. passions I mean as far as passions go I.
think I I never really had any and then. I discovered traveling and I feel like. that's what I really what I want to do. but it doesn't doesn't really correlate. with my situation that I'm in so stop I. don't know I like to. paint why don't you paint. walls yeah that' be a good way to make. money yeah yeah I could do that.
sure um I don't know I don't know I'm. like figuring that out. like but yeah I mean I think like I I I. don't know what to do with that like. don't either I don't either that's why. no no no but I will I will give you a. suggestion of where you can go to figure. it out okay there's career quizzes. online okay take them they usually cost. money but it might be worth it in your. situation yeah. um It'll ask you a bunch of questions. and it'll line you down some paths that.
you might be aligned with and in that. situation you might learn cuz you have a. degree a good General Degree that can. apply to a lot of things yeah. and you hate being in the office I also. don't give a hate I would rather you do. something you're passionate about but at. in the end you do need to make money you. do need to survive or you can just give. up and die under a bridge whatever. that's your choice I don't want you to I. would I would rather you live a good. life but it is your choice to. make because like things like traveling. or things like painting a lot of stuff.
we're talking more entrepreneurial like. if you're going to be on travel. influencer or if we're going to be a. painter things like that and we just we. can't take on those masks massive risk. where it takes a while to build an. income until you have no debt in like a. oneye emergency fund at minimum you have. $70 to your name you actually have. negative dollars to your name because. you're not even making your minimum. monthly payments in your $35,000 of. absolutely terrible evil disgusting debt. so. it's like that that's down in the cards. right now so you probably have to work a. job you actually do hate until you at.
least get a fully fed emergency fund and. you get all up B of bad debt so we might. go be an office worker might be plugging. in numbers might be making sales might. be doing customer service might be doing. any of that just trying to bring in $40. $50,000 a year grind pay off the debt I. think if I really tapped into being a. bartender I think that I can make really. good money at that of course not like. long term but sure but I also don't like. the place you're in though it's so. seasonal I know like you could make a. bar you you I think you could okay. congratulations you won some jeans.
you're an attractive person that exists. you can make good money bartending. there's just realities let's just speak. you know people get offended easy but. let's just speak basic realities You'. probably get some halfway decent tips as. long as you're not spilling drinks on. people right right or just delivering. like watered down bull. MH so yes but in a seasonal Market that. I don't know that's hard it's. hard yeah but if I continue doing that.
and. then I don't know like eventually find. somewhere I want land I think you need. to move I think you need to move to a. town that has an economy that's 12 years. round season of all is for people who. have flexibility and don't have a lot of. debt and have a fully funded emergency. fund they can survive seasonally you. can't you have bills you're not able to. pay right now you might need to move. back home live with your parents for a. bit oh no no no no seriously that might. be an option I don't know if they had. lost that's their choice but like you. might need to because you can't pay your. bills do your parents know how bad your.
