WHOA: Fox News caught in SHOCKING Trump scandal
Yesterday, Donald Trump participated in. a dignified transfer, which is a solemn. moment at which the remains of a fallen. service member are returned to the. United States, conducted at Dover Air. Force Base in Delaware. But, of course, Trump's participation was mired in. controversy. Let's see if you can figure. out why. be completely silent. There is. no recording, no audio recording. accompanying this video. That That's why. it seems a little still. No audio recording, just the video.
Because the President of the United. States showed up to honor fallen service. members wearing a baseball hat. The. thing that the whole country knows to. remove even during the Star-Spangled. Banner during a Little League baseball. game. But, Trump felt that it was more.
important to wear campaign merch than to. show a modicum of respect. Because lest. you forget, no opportunity is too solemn. to hawk some apparel and make a few. bucks in the process. But, it actually. gets worse because Fox News then decided. to try and play cleanup by airing this. footage. >> President Trump, First Lady Melania. Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, and. Secretary Lady Usha Vance attending a. dignified transfer to honor the final. homecoming of the six US service members. killed in Kuwait. The solemn ritual. returns the remains of troops killed in.
action. It is considered one of the most. somber duties of a commander in chief. President Trump promising the nation. that they will all be remembered as. heroes. Now, that footage is not from. yesterday. That footage is from December. 17th, 2025. So, why'd they swap it? Because back in December, Trump managed. to not wear a baseball hat with campaign. merch during a dignified transfer. And. Fox knew how inappropriate it was that. he did this, so they decided to just. outright lie, run defense for Trump, and.
pretend that old footage was new. footage. And they got caught, prompting. this correction on air. Before we move. on, we want to acknowledge a mistake. made earlier on our program. During our. coverage of yesterday's dignified. transfer, we inadvertently aired video. from an older dignified transfer instead. of the ceremony that took place. yesterday. We deeply regret the error. and extend our respect and condolences. to the service members' families. We. honor the sacrifice of those six. American heroes. They are Captain Cody. Cork, Sergeant First Class Nicole.
LaMoore, Sergeant First Class Noah. Tichenor, Sergeant Declan Cody, Major. Jeffrey O'Brien, and Chief Warrant. Officer 3 Robert Marzahn. But let's be. clear, this was not a mistake, and it. was not inadvertently aired, and they. did not regret it. Fox tacitly admitted. how inappropriate Trump's move was by. virtue of needing to do this bait and. switch. And instead of reporting on the. controversy at the heart of this stuff, they just decided to air fake footage. and protect a politician. This is not a.
news network, it is a propaganda. network. This is state TV. Think about. what Fox hosts would say if a different. network did this to protect Obama or. Biden. Fox would claim that that network. was completely and utterly discredited. And you know what? They'd be right. Fox. is not real news, it is an arm of the. Trump administration, an arm of the. Republican Party. In fact, it's not just doing a. disservice to Americans by running cover. for Trump, it also made a mockery of our. fallen soldiers by airing old footage.
and claiming it was new. And this is. supposed to be the pro-military party? What exactly is patriotic about lying. about a dignified transfer to protect a. draft dodger who couldn't be bothered to. remove his own personal merch during the. ceremony. Yeah, take all the time you. need with that one. And of course, it's not like we don't. have precedent to compare this to. A. decade and a half ago, a now famous news. package aired on CBS about Barack Obama. Meanwhile, as most Americans were. sleeping, an extraordinary moment in. history was playing out in the dark of. night.
With no fanfare, telling only a small. group of reporters, President Obama left. the White House just before midnight and. boarded Marine One. After a 40-minute flight, he landed at. Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. A C-17 transport plane had just arrived. there bearing the remains of 18. Americans killed this week in. Afghanistan. After meeting privately with their. families, the president and other.
dignitaries boarded the plane to welcome. the fallen heroes home and join a. chaplain in a brief prayer. Then, the president and his group left. the plane and stood at attention, saluting as the flag-draped transfer. cases were removed. The solemnity of the. moment clearly visible on the face of. the commander-in-chief. This is the first time a president has. participated in what is officially.
called a dignified transfer since the. wars in Iraq and Afghanistan began. President George W. Bush said he. preferred to meet with grieving families. in private. Media coverage of returning remains was. banned during his father's. administration after some network showed. a split-screen image of President George. H. W. Bush bantering with reporters as. the bodies of US soldiers killed in. Panama were arriving home.
Caskets were a familiar scene on TV news. during Vietnam, bringing into American. living rooms the true cost of war. This year, under President Obama, the. ban was lifted, but the family of the. fallen must approve. The parents of 29-year-old Army Sergeant. Dale Griffin of Terre Haute, Indiana. gave their permission for us to see his. return today. Five hours after he left the White House. and still long before sunrise, the.
president returned. He later reflected on the experience. saying it was a sobering reminder of the. sacrifices of America's men and women in. uniform. burden that. both our troops and our families bear. in any wartime situation is going to. bear on how I. see these conflicts. It is something. that I think about each and every day. As he decides [clears throat] whether to. send thousands more troops.
off to war. No pomp and circumstance, no. big show, wasn't even during the day, but rather after midnight. And he. managed to do it without wearing merch. from his store. No Obama hats, no. ability to profit from his appearance, just a president respecting the. sacrifice that fallen soldiers made for. his country. Imagine that. Participating. in a ritual that you don't stand to make. money from. Feels quaint in today's. world under today's MAGA Republican. Party. And it wasn't a bug, it was a. feature of Obama's presidency. In fact,
right-wing podcaster Shawn Ryan. interviewed a service member who. reinforced Obama's dedication to. honoring fallen service members with. this now viral clip. Obama came out, I'm. not a fan of his policies or anything. whatsoever. Not a fan of him at all. But. I will tell you this, he greeted and. shook everyone's hand in that room and. there was a lot of people. He went to. [music] every single person. When we. went to the hangar to offload the C-17s. with all these caskets, he stood and a. hand salute, [clears throat and music] a. very crisp one, the whole time. We're. sitting down cuz we're like exhausted,
our backs are killing us from the pain. of just operating, and the dude did not. move. He was just. As much as [music] I don't agree with. his policies and all that corruption I. think that he's maybe involved in, he. earned some respect from me on that day. I have to give that to [music] him. I. saw it with my own eyes. So, if I had to. guess, I would say that Donald Trump. wanted the Obama moment because Trump. always wants the Obama moments, and of. course up because Trump always. up because he has no tact, no. grace, no class, and frankly, no clue. how to comport himself like a grown-ass.
adult. He only knows how to grift. That's it. Every moment is an. opportunity to profit for himself. If. he's not marketing himself or his brand, it's not even worth showing up. And the. prospect of simply honoring a fallen. American service member isn't enough of. a reason for Trump to show up without. anything else. He needs to make sure. that the occasion is branded, that he. can influence people. Donald Trump is a. walking commercial, always out to make a. buck for himself, which really is the. story of this presidency. Trump pretends. to represent regular people,
working-class Americans, but at the end. of the day, our prices are rising, our. costs of living are surging, our dollar. doesn't go as far as it used to, and yet. his net worth has increased by $4. billion. How is it that he always seems. to win in these scenarios while. everybody else in this country loses? Do. you think that's an accident, or do you. think that maybe, just maybe, the guy. who has spent his entire life cheating, stealing, and grifting might just know. what he's doing? Take all the time you. need with that one. >> [music].
