Trump SNAPS, has FULL MELTDOWN as walls CLOSE IN
Just in case it wasn't already. abundantly clear that Donald Trump could. not care less about Americans and is. solely focused on himself, he really. made sure to hammer away at that point. today. He took to Truth Social and. wrote, quote, "The White House doesn't. have a ballroom, no taxpayer money, which presidents have desperately wanted. and desired for over 150 years, but a. Trump-hating Washington, D.C. District. Court judge, a man who has gone out of. his way to undermine national security. and make sure that this great gift to. America gets delayed or doesn't get. built, is attempting to prevent future. presidents and world leaders from having.
a safe and secure large-scale meeting. place or ballroom, one with bomb. shelters, a state-of-the-art hospital. and medical facilities, protective. missile-resistant steel columns, roofs, and beams, drone-proof ceilings and. roofs, military-grade venting, and. bullet, ballistic, and blast-proof. glass, which all means that no future. president living in the White House. without this ballroom can ever be safe. and secure at events, future. inaugurations, or global summits. This. magnificent space will allow them to. carry out their vital duties as the. leader of our nation. Furthermore, the. ballroom, which is being constructed on. budget and ahead of schedule, is needed.
now. Almost all material necessary for. its construction is being built and or. on its way to the site, ready for. installation and erection. Much of it. has already been paid for, costing. hundreds of millions of dollars. If. somebody, especially one with no. standing, had a complaint, why wasn't it. filed many months earlier, long before. construction was started? The public. record was open for all to see. Everybody knew that it was planned and. going to be built. The highly political. judge and his illegal overreach is out. of control and costing our nation. greatly. This is a mockery to our court. system. The ballroom is deeply important. to our national security and no judge.
can be allowed to stop this historic and. military imperative project. Thank you. for your attention to this matter. President Donald J. Trump.". I mean, dear god. I think Donald Trump. would be shocked to learn that a single. other person lived in the United States. other than him. Because even as. healthcare is being cut, food assistance. is stripped, prices are surging, inflation is rising, gas costs are going. up, and American service members are. dying in the Middle East, Trump issues. his little presidential proclamation. talking about his ballroom. Not.
sure why this hasn't said been said. publicly, but Trump needs to hear the. fact that nobody gives a about his. ballroom. I'm sorry, but he can post his. Truth Social screeds from now until the. end of time, we just don't care. Nobody. cares that a president has a nice space. for galas, period. We don't care that. world leaders don't have a large-scale. meeting place. We don't care that it's. ahead of schedule. We don't care that. it's under budget. And by the way, it's. not, considering the budget went from.
200 million to 400 million. What we care. about is being able to afford our own. lives, a point that Trump should have. been infinitely familiar with because he. literally campaigned on it. And yet the. moment he took office, he undermined all. of that, every campaign promise, and. instead oversaw higher prices, higher. inflation, higher gas costs, less. healthcare, less food assistance. Not. one material thing in this country has. gotten better for the American. population. And this guy has the balls. to complain about his ballroom? Give me.
a break. And this isn't even a one-off. This was. him on Air Force One just weeks ago. >> Here's another one. Well, excuse me, wait. I thought I'd do this now cuz it's. easier. I'm so busy. that I don't have time to do this. But I'm fighting wars and other things. But this is very important cuz this is. going to be. with us for a long time and it's going. to be I think it'll be the greatest. ballroom. anywhere in the world. It's this highest. level. Same height, exact height of not higher,
same height as the White House, exactly. the same height. And if you look, you have the White. House over here, you have this, and. that's a duplicate of the wall, so it. pays total homage. to the White House, which is I think. very important. >> Quote, "I'm so busy I don't have time to. do this," says Trump as he spends all of. his time doing this, he had time to. print out a full rendering of the. ballroom, and he's using his time to. talk about it in that very clip. And. let's be clear, when he says that he's.
got no time because he's so busy quote. fighting wars and other things, those. are things that he himself chose to do. Not only did no one ask for this war in. Iran, but he himself swore up and down. that he would avoid it. >> I'm not going to start a war. I'm going. to stop wars. No more wars, no more disruptions. We. will have prosperity and we will have. peace. Under Trump, we will have no more. wars, no more disruptions, and we will. have prosperity and peace for all. I am. the candidate of peace. I am peace.
>> But now that he's decided to plunge the. US into war, suddenly it's this big. burden that he's being forced to. shoulder. That's like me setting my own. house on fire and then complaining that. I'm so busy trying to figure out how to. rebuild it once it burned down. But I'll. tell you what's most interesting about. all of this. It's not just that Donald. Trump pretends he has zero time for. stuff like this when the ballroom is. clearly the thing he has time for. It's. that Trump always manages to find time. for stuff that helps him, but never. manages to find time for stuff that.
helps other people, namely his own. supporters. And so he'll run as this. populist champion looking out for the. little guy. He'll talk about housing and. rent and groceries and eggs. He's such a. working class hero that he wants you to. let you know that he feels your pain. over a carton of eggs. And then he gets. into office and what does he do? Launches a trade war that raises the. cost of everything. Then he passes a tax. cut that disproportionately helps. millionaires and billionaires. Then he. cuts your healthcare and food assistance. for the neediest Americans. Then he.
launches a war in the Middle East that. costs about two billion dollars per day. Then he keeps that war going long enough. that oil surges past the cost of a. hundred dollars per barrel to the point. that gas prices start surging here at. home in the US. Then that same war. closes one of the world's most important. shipping lanes for oil, meaning this. problem isn't going away anytime soon. All of that from the guy who cosplayed. as a populist. And yet, despite the fact. that you're paying more, that your. healthcare is gutted, that your food. assistance is cut, that you're paying.
more for gas, that your utility bills. and grocery bills and gas bills are. higher, he is somehow managed to find. time to help himself. Somehow managed to find time for this. ballroom that none of us will ever use. Find time for a $400 million Qatari jet. retrofitted to the tune of a billion. dollars that none of us will ever use. Two Gulfstream jets that cost $172. million that none of us will ever use. Crypto dinners that have led to him. doubling his own net worth. Don't you. all see who he's helping here? It is.
himself. He is heaping more gold and. wealth and opulence onto himself by the. day, and we are all paying for it. Meanwhile, what have Americans gotten. these last few months? They've gotten. their Medicaid gutted, their ACA. premiums have doubled, farmers have. utterly been screwed, everybody is. watching costs of everyday goods surge, inflation's rising to almost double the. rate it was when Biden left office, wages are flat, job growth has vanished, manufacturing renaissance that was. promised is nonexistent, and gas is.
surging. When Trump wants to get. something done, he gets it done, which. is a point that I discussed with Fox's. Jesse Watters live here. >> I'm throwing out the scripts because I. want to use you to test out what I'm. going to argue on the five in a few. minutes. Um. >> Okay. >> It is related to the ballroom because I. spent a few days really angry about the. ballroom and, you know, looking it up, like why should it be double the size of. the White House? And this is the. people's house, and if you don't think. of yourself as a renter, that's why you. do such a big renovation. And it's.
pay-for-play and all this stuff. But, is. it exactly what Trump and Caroline. Levitt and all the mouthpieces want is. for us to be melting down about the. ballroom and not talking about what you. were. brought up right off the bat, right? Like talking about how the farmers are. getting screwed, talk about the cattle. ranchers, talking about the tariffs, the. government shutdowns, saving people's. premiums. I'm workshopping it. What do. you think? I'll do it a lot better on. air, but. >> I I think I think they're I think they. are the same story. I think that Donald. Trump, whatever he wants to get done, he.
gets done, right? He doesn't view. anything as an obstacle to barreling. ahead and and accomplishing whatever his. goals are, be it the courts, be it. prosecutors, be it judges, be it. attorneys, be it the Democrats, be it. the law, be it the Constitution. He. doesn't care about any of those things. When when he wants to do something, he. does it. And the fact is that we're. seeing where his priorities lie when he. builds himself a $200 million ballroom, when he buys, you know, uses taxpayer funds to to retrofit a.
$400 million jet from Qatar, when he. buys Kristi Noem $170 million worth of. Gulfstreams, when he decks out the Oval. Office in in gold leafing. Like that. Those things get done because those are. his priorities, which underscore the. fact that what is not getting done is. because he just doesn't care. The fact. that farmers are getting screwed right. now is because he doesn't care about. those farmers. The fact that Americans. are going to see healthcare get gutted, whether it's the 17 million Americans. who aren't going to get Medicaid, whether it's the 24 million Americans.
who are going to see their ACA premiums. double or triple or quadruple, that's. happening because he doesn't care. Again, when he wants to do something, like he's doing with this ballroom, he. finds a way to get it done. So, everybody that's getting screwed is. getting screwed as the direct result of. the fact that he does not care about. these people. Like when he offered up. these populist sticks when he was on the. campaign trail, it's because he knew. what to say, but he's always been a fake. populist. He's always been out for. himself. And the fact that he is just. adorning his office with gold and.
surrounding himself with opulence and. doubling his net worth is all the proof. you need that he was perfectly content. to screw over these people, to say. whatever he needed to say to sell them a. bill of goods, but now that he's got. what he needs from them, he's done. helping them. So, this is one of those rare instances. where Trump and his team are actually. doing a perfectly fine job onto. themselves broadcasting where their. priorities lie. They have so much oozing. contempt for their voters that even. while they're screwing them over, which. would be bad enough onto itself, they're. actually bragging about the fact that.
they don't care. They're bragging that. Trump gets his precious ballroom while. he over everybody who is foolish. enough to believe him as he pretends to. be a populist. So, the next time you. think for a second that Trump cares. about anybody but himself, just remember. >> At this moment in time, of course, the. ballroom is really the president's main. priority. >> Before you go, I'm very excited to. announce that I've written a new book. titled The Day After: How to Wield Power. in a Post-Trump World. The book explores.
what is, in my opinion, the single most. important theme that we're dealing with. in politics today and moving forward, power. Specifically, how Republicans. abuse it and how Democrats refuse to. wield it. This book explains how we got. here and, more importantly, how we. should finally wield power if we're. lucky enough to get it back. It is the. blueprint for progressives who want to. do far more than just restore the status. quo. Please pre-order today by following. the link on this screen.
