Trump SNAPS, FLAILS in new meltdown | Another Day

Trump changes his mind on who's to blame. for the long lines at America's. airports. Truly shocking for a man known. for his impeccable consistency. This is. just another day. If you happen to have travel plans. coming up, let's say ever, and you're. looking for someone to blame for those. long TSA lines, Trump has you covered. This morning the president tweeted, "Blame the Democrats for the airports. mess. They want our country to do badly. They want our country to fail." Now, I. don't necessarily remember this sign.

from the 2024 DNC, but I guess if Trump. is saying it, it must be true. The only. problem is I do seem to remember someone. from that other party standing in the. way of a solution to our airport. problems. Despite the chaos at some of. the nation's airports, President Trump. urged Republicans not to make a deal to. end the DHS shutdown unless Democrats. back one of his top priorities, a voter. ID bill known as the Save America Act. >> It should be part of the Homeland. Security bill, and I'm requesting that.

the Republican senators do that. immediately. You don't have to take a. fast vote. Don't worry about Easter. going home. Well, sure. Not going home. to see your family is pretty easy to say. when you've got this waiting for you. But others might actually want to spend. time with the people that they're. related to. But now that Americans. around the country are growing more and. more frustrated, Trump suddenly seems. less keen on accepting blame for the. things that he just days ago was willing. to take the blame for. And let's not. forget, there was a huge deal on the. table that Trump could have accepted. Uh.

we submitted that, Senator Cornyn. submitted that to President Trump. Uh as is his right, he said no. No deals with the Democrats. It would. work. We could have had TSA paid by the. end of the week. But uh the president. said no deal. >> Hey, Donald Trump is simply following. the rules from one of the most. informative chapters of his book, chapter six, be a giant After. weeks of Democrats offering to provide. relief to members of the TSA, not to. mention America's weary travelers, by.

fully funding TSA while continuing the. debate over DHS funding, Republicans. have still not agreed to a deal. One of. the sticking points being Republicans. don't want any restrictions attached to. the money, while Democrats have politely. asked that masked marauder stop shooting. unarmed Americans in the streets. But. Democrats have some other concerns as. well. What we're learning is that the. GOP deal would fund all of DHS except. for ICE enforcement operations. That's. the piece that Democrats want to reform.

Democrats have though rejected the offer. concerned that even partial ICE funding. could allow the agency to shift money. around and pay for enforcement anyway. without the changes they're demanding. Well, that's a pretty cynical way to. look at things. I mean, fiscal. responsibility is one of the. cornerstones of this Republican Party. The FBI director Cash Patel is under. fire after videos of him chugging a beer. and celebrating with the men's US hockey. team in Italy yesterday were obtained by. multiple news outlets. The FBI had. previously argued Patel's trip to Italy.

was for official travel. Kristi Noem is. flying around at taxpayers expense on. this luxury jet you can see right there. And Noem is in the process of trying to. purchase the jet using $70 million of. taxpayer money. Yep, the Democrats have. nothing to worry about by trusting the. GOP. I have to say, it's quite odd for. Donald Trump to be pointing fingers. right now, especially considering what. his vaunted speech writer encouraged him. to add to his inauguration speech last. year. >> I promise I'm going to see you all be. that a peacemaker. Peacemaker and an.

identifier. What would he do without her? Well, let's hear a little bit of that unity in. action, shall we? I guess they're. getting fairly close, but. I I think any deal they make. I'm I'm pretty much not happy with it. Oh, Move over, Lincoln. There is a. new unifier in town, and thankfully, this one's wife isn't the slightest bit. crazy.

Anyway, now that Trump has publicly deterred his. own party from making a deal that. doesn't include his Save America Act, aka Steal the Midterms Act, Republicans. are twisting themselves into knots to. justify their actions. >> it seems as though Republicans and. Democrats are talking past one another. right now. >> Mhm. Is the only person who could solve. this the president of the United States. and why isn't he involved? Well, I think. he is involved. I mean, I know he had a. group of. >> the plan yesterday. Well, that's what's.

And. just because we're seeing something on. our phones doesn't necessarily mean it's. actually happening, which is the same. thing, coincidentally, that Mike Johnson. told his son over and over again. Now, if you go to the airport, watch the. news, or are trying to fill up your car. with gas, things might seem bad right. now, but don't worry, they might get. even worse. Looking ahead, the acting. TSA chief also warned of a potential. perfect storm of severe staffing. shortages just as an influx of millions. of passengers will be arriving at our. airports for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Newly hired officers are required to. complete 4 to 6 months of training, so. the impact of this could be felt for the. better part of this year. How about.

that? By refusing to make inroads with. Democrats or even his own party, Donald. Democrats, it is because even his own. base is blaming him. And our reporting. will speak a lot to young voters, many. of whom voted for President Trump for. the first time in 2024. Um you know,

hoping to have no more wars and to have. lower prices. Now, with a war taking. place and with gas prices going up, curious what President Trump's message. would be to those voters who kind of. swung into his coalition in 2024, um but. maybe don't feel the administration's. going as they had expected. >> President Trump is doing this for you. That's so weird. Where have I heard that. before? Always remember, they are coming. after me. because I am fighting for you. To go to. work for you. I am your voice.

Yes, and what an angelic voice it is. The reality is Donald Trump is not. governing, he's campaigning again, which. is odd considering he and his party. currently have all the power. The. president spends his days and nights. telling us that our travel plans, our. cities, and our free and fair elections. will all be in ruins unless he is given. the power to save them. But, uh last. time I checked, he already has that. power. The truth is, all of the problems. that Donald Trump is hell-bent on. solving were created by him. This is.

It is this president. who is making our cities less safe, and. it is this president who is sowing. distrust in our elections.
