🚨 Trump‘s NIGHTMARE scenario ERUPTS as he screws his OWN voters

In a tragic development, the latest. count is showing at least 51 people, including 15 children, are dead after. devastating flash floods tore through. central Texas on July 4th. More than two. dozen people from a children's summer. camp in Kirk County, remain missing. The. Guadalupe River surged an estimated 29. ft in just 45 minutes, catching families. completely off guard in the middle of. the night. But while we obviously have. no control over the weather, we do have. control over the systems that monitor. it. But those systems weren't in play in. Texas. Kirk County Judge Rob Kelly. stated that no one knew this kind of.

flood was coming and noted that the. state did not have any warning system in. place for major flooding events. Multiple witnesses said no advanced. warning was given. None. And you might. be thinking, how is that possible? How. did 51 people die in the year 2025 from. flooding with zero warning? Here's how. Donald Trump gutted the very agencies. whose job it is to give that exact kind. of warning and keep us safe. Since Trump. took office, the National Weather. Service has experienced significant. staff reductions after the NWS's first.

wave of firings and early retirements. under the Trump administration. Staffing. at the service's 122 field offices. across the country have dropped to a 19%. vacancy rate. 19%. The office is also. without two of its top managers, including one position known as warning. coordination meteorologist. The person. in that role is responsible for. improving public awareness around severe. weather warnings, including flash flood. warnings. seems kind of important in. retrospect, huh? In other words, Trump. fires the people whose literal job is. coordinating weather warnings and then.

act surprised when people don't get. warned about deadly floods. This is like. firing all of the lifeguards and then. wondering why people are drowning. Here's a report from months ago warning. about the consequences of exactly this. type of situation given the staffing. shortages. Days out from what's forecast. to be an above normal hurricane season, scientists across the country are. sounding the alarm over critical. staffing shortages. Inside the National. Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, officials are scrambling to fill more. than 150 critical National Weather.

Service roles left vacant after sweeping. cuts from the Trump administration. Overall, the service has lost 600 of its. 4,000 employees since January. Five. former NWS directors calling it their. worst nightmare in an open letter. earlier this month predicting. underststaffing could lead to needless. loss of life. In other words, there was. clear notice that this was going to. happen. And yet, did that stop the mass. firings? Clearly not. In fact,

Department of Homeland Security. Secretary Christy Gnome took some time. off from dressing up as Ice Barbie and. Safari Barbie and prison warden Barbie. and forging the Rio Grand Barbie to. offer up this word salad in response to. the failure of the systems to alert. people. I got updates at 7:00, the first. one I I heard. And I've heard updates. throughout the week, but not before 7:00. in the morning. Wasn't that a. fundamental failure of of the federal. government's responsibility to keep us. safe? Well, you know, my background is um.

before I was in the secretary position. here under the Trump administration, I. was governor of South Dakota and served. in Congress for eight years before I was. governor. Um and so I will tell you that. um for decades, for years, everybody. knows that the weather is extremely. difficult to predict, but also that the. National Weather Service over the years. at times has has done well and at times. we have all wanted more time and more. warning and more alerts and more. notification. Um that is something and. one of the reasons that when President. Trump took office uh that he said he.

wanted to fix and is currently upgrading. the technology and the National Weather. Service has indicated that with that and. Noah that we needed uh to renew this. ancient system that has been left in. place with the federal government for. many many years and that is the reforms. that are ongoing there. you know, when. your notification hit your phone. Sir, I'm sorry. I can't speak to to when that. is, but I do carry your concerns back to. the federal government and to President. Trump and and we will do all we can to. fix uh those kinds of things that that.

may have felt like a failure to you and. to your community members. Uh but we. know that everybody wants more warning. time and that's why we're working to. upgrade the technologies that have been. neglected by far too long uh to make. sure that families have as much advanced. notice as possible. all that word salad. She might consider dressing up as a chef. when she's looking for her next outfit. But the worst part is that given these. failures, clearly the federal government. understands the risks of divesting from. these areas, right? Not at all, because the 2026 federal.

budget eliminates all funding for. climate, weather, and ocean laboratories. and cooperative institutes. But the. cruel irony here is that the NWS. provides an overall benefit of a hundred. billion dollars to the economy. And it's. estimated that the weather service costs. taxpayers about 1.3 billion but gives a. more than 50fold return on investment. We're talking about a 50 to1 return. And. Trump said, "Nah, let's cut that." In. fact, here's Nome discussing FEMA, the. agency that she and Trump are looking to. eliminate. Department what can be.

utilized. And of course, FEMA is. standing at an enhanced level right now, which means that they are um plugged in. to the state operations center. uh we. are uh engaged and that as this response. goes forward that their role will. continue to be filled as it always is in. these situations and will be timely and. responsive as to what the governor. requests. In other words, they clearly. see the value of an agency like FEMA as. they rely on it right now, which is. somehow why they're also going to gut. it. As if these storms weren't bad.

enough, now the safety net is going to. go away, too. I wonder what those red. states like Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Florida are going to. think of that. which raises the question. why. It makes logical sense. It makes. economic sense. But Trump and his. administration are so rapidly partisan. that this is why they hate the weather. services. Take a look at page 674 of. Project 2025. Quote, "Break up Noah. The. single biggest Department of Commerce. agency outside the denial census years. is the National Oceanic and Atmospheric.

Administration, which houses the. National Weather Service, National. Marine Fishery Service, and other. components. Together, these form a. colossal operation that has become one. of the main drivers of the climate. change alarm industry and as such is. harmful to future US prosperity. This. industry's mission emphasis on. prediction and management seem designed. around the fatal conceit of planning for. the unplannable. This is not to say Noah. is useless, but its current organization. corrupts its useful functions. It should. be broken up and downsized. Now, how do.

I say this diplomatically? These thought that the. weather services were exacerbating. concerns about climate change and they. only want to deny its existence. So they. are defunding the very services that. keep us safe and informed. Stupid is one. thing. Stupid and dangerous are entirely. another. So, when Donald Trump. inevitably shows up in Texas for his. look at me photo op to swoop in like a. white knight, remember that those 51. people, including 15 children and.

counting, did not have to die. They died. because Donald Trump and this Republican. party decided that cutting the budget. was more important than cutting edge. weather warnings. They died because this. administration values tax cuts for. billionaires over literal life-saving. services for working families. Trump ran. to lead the party of personal. responsibility.
