Trump pulls BOMBSHELL stunt ahead of election | Another Day

In an effort to stop the rigging of. elections, Republicans are desperately. trying to rig elections. This is just. another day. With 2026 being an election year, each. one of our nation's election officials. are gearing up to make sure that these. midterms go as smoothly as the ones. before it. And that includes this guy. >> So, it's no mail and ballots with the. exception of disability, illness, military, or if you're traveling, you. can get an exemption. you know, if you. happen to be uh out of the country for a.

good reason, you can have an exemption. So, with exceptions, it's no mail-in. ballots. And that will assure the. security of our crooked elections. We. have crooked elections. >> That's right. In the event that you and. your family are, let's say, taking a. little jaunt on the SS Bullshitter to a. particular island for lunch. >> for an hour, >> you'll still be able to cast your vote. But these exceptions for mail and voting. are just that, exceptions. Because, as. our president reminded us this morning,

America's election integrity is at. stake. >> You know, we're the only country in the. world that does a system like we do. We're the only country in the world that. has mailin ballots. The way we do this is unbelievable. It. guarantees cheating. >> Yes. The only country in the world that. has mailin voting as long as you don't. count the world. In 2024, the. International Institute for Democracy. and Election Assistance found that 34. countries or territories allow postal. voting or mail-in voting. For example, Australia has had mail-in voting for a.

century and all Canadians are eligible. to vote by mail. See, even Canada votes. by mail, which is not to say that. Canada's elections aren't without. problems. When you vote up there, there's the chance of getting checked on. your way to the post office. Only. wholesome comedy when it comes to. Canada. Now, all of this comes as the. Republican le House passed the Save. America Act this week, which ironically. does the exact opposite. Yes, their. constitution shredding legislation. requires voters to not only show photo. identification in order to cast a ballot. in person, but also require states to.

obtain documentary proof of citizenship. in person, such as an American passport. or birth certificate from someone in. order to register them to vote in a. federal election. But not to worry. because as we all know, once you show. your birth certificate, you've earned. every Republican's trust. >> It's not a birth certificate, Candy. And. people are trying to figure out why. isn't he giving his birth certificate. It's not a birth certificate. Ah, when you look back now, it's still. racist. By the way, this birth. certificate issue the GOP has put forth.

doesn't simply apply to former. presidents. For millions of buried women. who have taken their spouse's name, birth certificates may not match the. legal names they now use. Imagine that. Just because you got married and didn't. change your name on your birth. certificate, you might not be able to. take part in our democracy. As an. example, if this woman didn't change her. name to Mrs. she wouldn't be. able to vote. And what's sadder than. that? Besides being married to her. actual husband. Now, while almost. everybody can see that this is simply a. blatant attempt by the GOP to.

disenfranchise more voters, others see. it differently. >> Here we are again. We just want common. sense measures. I mean, look, you. cannot, you know, get a beer, get a. wine. I can't even go in and buy, you. know, certain types of medications in. the drugstore, and I'm 65, uh, without. ID and to prove who I am. And this is so. foundational, especially in this age of. identity theft and the ability of cartel. members and organized crime members to. really just, you know, undermine. people's identity. Yes, as we all know, while the cartel may dabble in the world.

of trafficking illegal narcotics and. weaponry, their real focus still remains. committing voter fraud. I mean, who can. forget that season of Breaking Bad where. Walt and Jesse stay up all night. fabricating ballots for the cartel? With. all the talk of protecting America's. election integrity, it's worth pointing. out what a small problem this actually. is. A study showed that there were 31. credible instances of impersonation. fraud from 2000 to 2014 out of more than. 1 billion ballots cast over that period. Republicans are attempting to solve a.

problem that does not exist. It's like. creating a whole hand job free section. at the Broadway shows simply because of. one incident. Granted, while voter fraud. is vanishingly rare, as noted, there. were a few cases on the books. But while. Republicans have decided that even those. few instances are reason enough to go. after the cheating Democrats, they might. want to take a second glance at the. party affiliations. >> Today, nine Michigan Republicans accused. of trying to keep former President. Donald Trump in power appeared virtually.

in an Ingam County courtroom. >> Continue to follow the arrest of State. Representative David Cole. He was booked. into the Madison County jail Tuesday. >> Cole, a Republican, he's charged with. voter fraud. Republican lawmaker Austin. Smith has slammed Maricopa County's 2020. vote as a national disgrace and. embarrassment. Now, it is Smith who's. accused of breaking election laws. The. charge, he forged petition signatures. required to get on the 2024 ballot. That's right, signature forgery. While.

many of us did it to skip school, Republicans are doing it to win. elections. But good luck getting a. member of the MAGA crowd to readily. admit it. >> Voter fraud's a real problem in the. country. I know. I know all about it. >> Have you ever seen any voter fraud? >> Yeah, me. I did it. >> You you you committed voter fraud? What'd you do? >> Voted twice for Trump. >> Really? >> Four years ago? Yes. >> Did you get in trouble for that? >> Yeah. I'm still on probation for it. >> Really? >> Yeah. Now, if I voted for Hillary, I. would have got a gold medal. >> Sure. But then you would have had to.

give that gold medal to your favorite. press. The reality is the Save America. Act, this heroic piece of patriotic. legislation being pushed by the. administration and the GOP, might be a. little easier to stomach if every action. prior to this by them wasn't a direct. attack on our free and fair elections. They haven't done a single thing to. build trust or confidence with voters. Despite Donald Trump's never-ending. claims that the 2020 election was rigged. and the fact that his own attorney. general said there was no evidence of. widespread voter fraud, this still.

happened recently. The FBI last week. raided a Fulton County, Georgia election. center, seizing ballots and other. records related to the 2020 election. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi. Gabbard observed the raid and two. sources say she facilitated President. Trump speaking by phone directly to FBI. agents involved in the search. >> That's right. The FBI conducted a. totally definitely normal raid of. election materials related to debunk. claims about the 2020 election. And that.

totally normal phone call between the. president of the United States and the. FBI agents. One US official said the. call was fairly short, perhaps just a. minute long, and compared the. conversation to a pep rally or a coach. giving an encouraging halftime speech to. his players. And we've all seen those. halftime speeches, right? The ones where. the coach famously tells his players how. he doesn't care about winning. All. right, men. I want you to go out there. and fight like hell for either side. This isn't about victory. This is about. integrity. I want to see some goddamn.

points up on that board, but I don't. care which team has them. Now, hands in, clear eyes, full hearts. Whatever. outcome happens will be fine by me. And. the guy under Trump behind this whole. Fulton County raid. One other detail in. here, the FBI says that this. investigation originated with a referral. that was sent by Kurt Olsen, who is a. Trumpappointed director of election uh. security and integrity. Now, >> that's right. This is Kurt Olsen, who. isn't just the least attractive member. of the Olsson family. It turns out he's.

also a completely discredited election. denier. In Arizona, he was sanctioned in. federal court for making false claims. In Georgia, a legal effort on behalf of. the Dicab County Republican Party. challenging the state's use of election. machines failed. And this guy is now one. of the people in charge of, as the. Republicans put it, saving America, which pretty much is like hiring Steven. Miller as your hair stylist or putting. Matt Gates in charge of your daughter's. sweet 16 party. How on earth does this. administration expect voters to trust.

them when they are currently doing this? And the Justice Department is suing. Nevada, saying the state is improperly. withholding voter data requested as part. of the investigation into elections. >> That Nevada is not alone. The Justice. Department is also suing Colorado, Hawaii, and Massachusetts. Federal. prosecutors say they're looking to. enforce voter registration and access. laws. But Nevada officials say they're. worried about privacy. >> Worried about privacy? Why on earth. would that be? What you think? Just. because the Department of Justice.

released the names of Epstein survivors. in their document dump while redacting. the names of Epste's co-conspirators. means they can't be trusted. That's. pretty juvenile, don't you think? Trump pardoning insurrectionists, Republicans painting January 6 as a day.

of peace, or merely repeating the. unfounded claims that the 2020 election. was rigged, they have only themselves to. blame.
