Trump OPENLY PANICS as Epstein problem EXPLODES
NBC News broke the story today. I don't. know if you saw it that the Democrats. are already saying if you bring. President Bill Clinton and he has to. testify. We're bringing President Trump. What do you say to that? >> I I think they might say that, you know, but they've already brought me. See, I've been brought uh they had me. indicted uh many, many times. Many, many. times. >> And the president had some surprising. thoughts about former President Bill. Clinton. >> It bothers me that somebody's going. after Bill Clinton. See, I like Bill. Clinton. I still like. >> What do you like about him?
>> Uh, I liked Well, I liked his behavior. toward me. I thought he got me. He. understood me. You know, he was the one. that said very famously that you don't. want to run against Trump. When there. were 18 people, there was 18 people. including me total. And he kept telling. them, "You don't want to run against. Trump. Run against anyone. Don't run. against Trump." And Hillary sort of. laughed at him. >> A lot to break down here. First off, Trump claims that he's already dealt. with what's happening to Bill and. Hillary Clinton. That's a lie. In.
effect, he's conflating being subpoenaed. by Congress with his own previous. criminal prosecutions in the aftermath. of the 2020 election. Let's be clear, these two things are not the same. Those. prosecutions against him took place at. the hands of either a special counsel, Jack Smith, because even Merrick Garland. didn't feel comfortable engaging in a. prosecution that could be perceived as. biased or local prosecutors. And his. indictments were at the hands of juries. of his peers. I know that Trump loves to. pretend that Adam Schiff and Joe Biden. did this unilaterally to him, but that.
was literally the legal process playing. out as it should at the hands of. prosecutors gathering the facts and. juries recognizing the criminal activity. that he engaged in. Trump was indicted. not because of some witch hunt, but. because he tried to subvert free and. fair election, because he sought to. block the certification of Congress, because he took classified documents. from the White House and refused to. return them because he committed. campaign finance violations. So, he can. curl up in the fetal position and. pretend that he's some victim. But the. truth is that he is a criminal. And even.
today, he's not evidence of a corrupt. system where innocent people like him. get caught in the gears. He's evidence. of a corrupt system where guilty people. like him ultimately walk free. What Bill. and Hillary Clinton are contending with. is being compelled to testify for. Congress on their involvement with. Epstein, which by the way, I support. In. fact, I think we should all support it. for two reasons. First, anyone, Democrat, Republican, independent, who. engaged in criminal activity with. Epstein should be held to account for. it. Full stop. I don't care who did it. If you did, there should be a zero.
tolerance policy for those people. If. that means Bill Clinton, so be it. We. are not a cult of personality. we will. not absolve you of criminal behavior. just because of your political. affiliation. But the second reason is. the precedent that this establishes. where Republicans are now on record. supporting former presidents and their. families being forced to comply with. congressional subpoenas to answer. questions under the threat of perjury. about their involvement with Jeffrey. Epstein. And considering Trump's name is. in the files thousands of times, I think. it's a pretty legitimate basis to have.
the Clinton standard apply to Trump. And. in fact, Republicans are now being. questioned on exactly that point. >> President Trump's name is mentioned more. than a thousand times in these. documents. Why not try to get more. information from him? Try to get him to. testify. >> Well, I've not Well, I've noticed that. uh every time you all do a gaggle like. this with President Trump, somebody. asked him about Epstein. So, he's been. answering questions about Epste. >> Well, has Bill Clinton ever answered any. questions on Epste or Hillary Clinton. So, this is going to be a new. opportunity and we'll go from there. There goes comr doing Trump's bidding by.
deflecting to Bill and Hillary Clinton. And guess what? Again, that's okay. They. should testify. We should get all of the. facts, but we should get all of the. facts, which includes people who aren't. Bill and Hillary Clinton. And there will. come a day when that clip of James Comr. is played to justify subpoenaing Donald. Trump to come testify before a. Democrat-led House. And I get that. hypocrisy and shamelessness have never. stopped Republicans before, but let's. not forget that they are setting the. precedent and we should intend to abide. by it. Here's another one. >> Well, for people who say that I'm not.
okay. No, I'm not okay. I'm not okay. with with uh Epstein co-conspirators. walking free. I'm not okay with. pedophiles in South Carolina getting one. day in jail under the leadership of our. attorney general. I'm not okay with. murderers walking free. I'm not okay. with the death or execution of young. women like Logan Federico by a guy that. had over 20 felonies under his belt. Um, there are a lot of victims, both sexual. assault victims, murder victims, uh, victims of, uh, child predators, for. example, that I've been working with in.
South Carolina and across the country. What's happening right now, where people. don't go to jail for the crimes they. commit because of their power, their. wealth, or whomever they are, because. the system is broken, none of us should. be okay with that. And if I'm going to. be attacked for standing up for those. that don't have a voice, who can't stand. on their own, um, then I'm going to be. okay with that. And I say, bring it on. to the mainstream media. And if they. can't break me, they're just going to. make it up. And I'm here for it. And. nothing's going to stop me from being. governor of South Carolina. >> Wow. Okay. I can't believe I'm saying. this, but I think Nancy Mace and I are.
on the same page. And so surely after. that principled stand we just saw her. take, we would be in agreement that. since Trump is also in the Epstein. files, he should testify too, right? >> Congresswoman, last question. Do you. think that President Trump should answer. more questions about the Epstein files? >> Well, I believe he already has. I mean, he's he went to the authorities. He's. the one that banned Jeffrey Epstein from. Mara Lago. He's been very open and very. transparent. Um, and I hope that he will. support the efforts of the House.
oversight committee to get to the bottom. of this. And I want to see people named. I want predators named. I want them. investigated. And I want them to go to. jail. Oh, so close. So close to having. even one single solitary principle that. extends even to their deity, Donald. Trump. But while the Republicans may be. squishy here, the reality is that. Democrats are decidedly not. According. to NBC News, Representative Jared. Moscowitz, an oversight committee member. known for his frequent on camera clashes. with COMR, said the chairman is sealing. his legacy and won't like what comes.
next when the Democrats next take. control of the House and its committees. on oversight, banking, and judiciary. Quote, "The folks are going to run with. it everywhere. It will be crypto. It. will be their business. It will be all. the investments in the Middle East. It'll be on the Qatari plane. It's going. to be the latest thing with the UAE. It's going to be all of it. Moscowitz. added all of it. They are giving a. license to these new chairmen in. January. That that will be Comr's. legacy. So when Don Jr. and Eric and. their children, not because I want this. to happen because I don't. I don't want. it to happen. But when they're all here,
they can thank James Comr for that. Jamie Raskin agreed. According to NBC. News, quote, "It's clear that past. presidents are not off limits for. subpoenas. Clinton is a past president. who had rendered substantial goodfaith. compliance. But if there is a former. president who doesn't render substantial. good faith compliance, they're going to. be in trouble under this president. All. bets are off. So did Eugene Vinman. Quote, "Given the level of corruption. that we've seen from this. administration, the entire Trump family, and the president himself, I think we. should anticipate that this president. will be called in after his term as.
well." as did Zoe Lofrren, a member of. the now defunct January 6th committee, who gave a curt response when asked. Tuesday what the COMR Clinton standard. means for the House's future. Quote, "When is Trump coming?" She said, "I. mean, hell, even James Comr himself. conceded as much." Asked by NBC News on. Tuesday if he's setting a precedent that. Democrats could use to call Trump to. testify, comed it could set a precedent. All of which is to say, "Democrats did. not start this fight, but we should have. every intention of finishing it. Call. the Clintons to testify. give them the. grilling that they absolutely deserve.
Get all of the answers. If they've done. something wrong, hold him accountable. And then apply that same standard to. everyone, including Donald Trump. And to. that end, you know that Donald Trump. recognizes that that's a possibility, which is why he's already hedging and. claiming that, well, you know, maybe. Bill Clinton shouldn't testify. Maybe. it's not fair. After all, he's been so. nice to me. First of all, we get it. Trump's a narcissist. If the guy could. fate himself, we'd probably never see. him again. Not exactly a surprise. But.
underneath that is the concern that one. day when Trump isn't in power, he will. be in the exact position that Bill. Clinton's in. A former president with. ties to a pedophile forced to answer for. what he knows. And remember, it is a. crime to lie to Congress, and it is a. crime to defy a congressional subpoena. And as long as the next Democratic. attorney general does not subscribe to. the Merrick Garland approach to. government, then Trump can be held. accountable if he refuses to show up or. if he shows up and lies about something. that can be proven false. And I'm not.
sure if you're familiar with Donald. Trump, but he tends to lie a lot. So, let's see what Bill and Hillary Clinton. have to say, and then let's keep going. because while we're in the business of. hauling powerful ex-presidents into. Congress to testify, Trump might want to. clear his calendar for February of 2029. Before.
