Trump on DEFENSE when hit with BRUTAL question

It's not often you hear Trump sound like. he's got his tail between his legs, but. he does here. Mr. President, have you. fired or disciplined that staffer who. posted the video from your account that. included the Obamas? No, I haven't. That was a video on, as. you know, voter fraud. Then, fairly long video and they had a. little piece and had to do with the Lion. King. It's been very well. It's been shown all over the place long. before that was posted. Uh but that was. a That was a. very strong.

Uh if you And I'm sure you saw it. A. very strong piece on voter fraud. And. the piece that you're talking about was. all over the place many times, I believe. for years. Have you fired or disciplined. the staffer who posted the videos that. included the Obamas? No, I haven't. How. about that? I guess this guy gets to. keep his job. I sure do hope that this. young staffer learned his lesson though. Would hate to see a low-level volunteer. have his whole career derailed at such a. young age and with so much promise. And.

look, of course, that staffer who posted. the video wasn't fired because it was. Trump. There are two people who have. access to Donald Trump's Truth Social. account, him and Dan Scavino. You know. how I know that? Because Trump said it. >> You know, it started off with Dan. Scavino. I said, "Dan, how do you work. this thing?" And I started dictating. I. started my I began by dictating to Dan. and a couple of other people that we. had, but they weren't Dan. And I dictate. something. I dictate something. And all. of a sudden people started following. And then on occasion, like about once.

every 3 years, Dan wouldn't be around. cuz he was over there. I couldn't get. rid of this guy. I call him the most. powerful man in politics cuz he's the. only one that has my number. He could say, "I don't like you, voters. I don't like you at all. I'm fed up with. you. I can't stand you." And that's the. end of my political career. Dan's the only one that can do that. Where are you, Dan? Most powerful man in. politics, I say. Woo! The most powerful. He's the only one that can do it without.

my No, he can press it. Linda, he's got. the number even Linda doesn't have it. Although I gave it to you, I trust you. implicitly. I'd give it to you. But Dan could say something horrible. He. could say something very sexually. oriented. And that you know would end it, okay? That would end it. But he hasn't done. that and he won't do it. So, unless Dan. Scavino was just vomiting out a bunch of. racist videos at 2:30 in the morning on. Trump's account, I think it's safe to. say who the perpetrator here was. And. then of course, Trump pivots back to. this idea that the video was actually.

about voter fraud. So, let's talk about. voter fraud. According to Justin Levitt, who also authored The Truth About Voter. Fraud and is now a professor at Loyola. Law School, and who reviewed allegations. of fraud dating back to 2000 to 2014, he. identified 31 credible cases of voter. fraud out of more than a billion ballots. cast over that period. 31 cases of fraud. out of more than a billion ballots cast. spanning 14 years. So, when Republicans. rail against voter fraud, they are.

solving a problem that doesn't exist. So, why do it? Why die on this hill? Because they're using voter fraud as a. vehicle to suppress votes. I'm sure that. you've heard of the Save Act, which just. passed the House and is now in front of. the Senate. The GOP is trying to frame. it as just a simple voter ID bill. It's. not. For one thing, it includes a. provision that forces states to hand. over their voter rolls Noem's Department. of Homeland Security. The same. Department of Homeland Security running. ICE raids right now. The same agency. whose agents killed US citizens in.

Minneapolis. They would decide who stays. registered and who gets flagged for. removal. It could also block millions of. eligible voters from voting. The bill. requires most Americans to hand over a. passport or a birth certificate in. person to register to vote or update. their registration. Documents 21 million. Americans do not have readily available. Without them, they could be blocked from. registering to vote. Think about who. that disproportionately impacts. Low-income voters, minority voters, and. seniors, all of whom tend to vote. Democratic. Surprise, surprise. And.

here's the most chilling part. We are. talking about a bill that would hand. control over who's registered to vote. and who gets flagged for removal from. the voter rolls to the guy who said. this. You know, amazing that the. Republicans aren't tougher on it. The. Republicans should say, "We want to take. over. We should take over the voting the. voting in at least. many 15 places. The Republicans ought to. nationalize the voting. And to the. political party that's threatening this. You're damn right. We're going to have.

ICE surround the polls come November. We're not going to sit here and allow. you to steal the country again. And you. can you can whine and cry and throw your. toys out of the pram all you want, but. we will never again allow an election to. be stolen. These people are not. interested in good faith steps to secure. our elections. They want to suppress the. vote. That has been their MO for. decades. In fact, I spoke with Mark. Elias about this point. Here's what he. had to say. This is a major effort by. Republicans to try to undermine free and.

fair elections in 2026. The White House. has been all over this. Donald Trump. personally said that the prior name, the. Save Act, was not strong enough. He. wanted America added, which is why uh. Brian, as you say, it's called the Save. America Act. And House Republicans are. going to try to ram this through early. this week as soon as Tuesday by just. taking a sledgehammer to the right to. vote. So, this bill, among other things, would impose the the so-called proof of. citizenship, which is really just a.

fancy way of saying we don't want young. people and married women who change. their last names to be able to register. to vote. It would also contain a new. updated provision, uh just hot off the. presses, that makes it explicitly clear. that government-issued ID does not. include, wait for it, Brian, issued ID by colleges and universities. That's right. The states can issue any. kind of government ID with photos, but. if it's from an educational institution, even if it's the flagship university or.

college of that state, it is. specifically excluded from the Save. America Act. I mean, these guys have. dropped all the pretenses. They have. dropped the facade. They are just in out. and out voter suppression mode because, Brian, they are panicked. They are. panicked because their redistricting. gambit didn't work. They are panicked. because Donald Trump's polling is. dropping through the floor, and they are. panicked because they know that a big. blue wave is just forming over the. horizon. And of course, to watch more.

He will do the. opposite of everything he promises. because he's got nothing but disdain for. his own voters. And by the way, no one. in the GOP will lift a finger to stop. him because their allegiance is to him, not you. So, when Trump says that he. wants to protect the sanctity of our. elections, maybe think twice about. allowing a guy who sicked a mob of his. supporters to storm the US Capitol the.

last time he claimed to want to protect. our elections.
