Trump makes FATAL MISTAKE on GLOBAL stage | Another Day
After thinking not that much about it, Donald Trump takes America to war. This. is just another day. >> [music]. >> While the war with Iran rages on, today. we finally got some concrete answers on. what precipitated Donald Trump's. ultimate decision to take us into. battle. >> You see, we were having negotiations. with these lunatics. And it was my opinion that they were. going to attack first. They were going. to attack if we didn't do it. They were. going to attack first. I felt strongly. about that. And we have great.
negotiators, great people, people that. do this very successfully, and have done. it all their lives very successful. And. uh based on the way the negotiation was. going, I think they were going to attack. first. So, between all our top-ranked. intelligence analysts, world-renowned. policy officials, and envoys from. Department of State, the launch of this. war came down to It was my opinion. Perfect. I guess Donald Trump looked. back at Colin Powell's vial of anthrax. speech that got us into Iraq and. thought, "Hey, if I don't make my case. for war, they can never say I was.
wrong." But, asking why we're doing this. is now a seemingly pointless exercise. because we're doing it. It's being done. It's like asking Lauren Boebert why. she's fondling her seatmate's genitals. at a Broadway show. You know what? Because she wants to, okay? No, the more. appropriate question is, "What happens. now?" So, brother, what's the worst-case. scenario that you have planned for in. Iran? Well, I don't know if there's a. worst case. We have them very much. uh. beaten militarily from the military. standpoint. I guess the worst case would.
be we do this and then somebody takes. over who's as bad as the previous. person, right? That could happen. Uh we don't want that to happen. That. would probably be the worst. You go. through this and then uh in 5 years you. realize you put somebody in who is no. better. Right. That would be a disaster, which is why the Trump administration. has spent the last 12 months vetting and. grooming the perfect individual to lead. the Iranian people on this new path. toward freedom. So, without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, please give it up.
for the next leader of Iran. Well, most. of the people we had in mind are dead. Oh. Um, well, that is unfortunate. I can. only assume there was someone that your. administration had secretly dubbed. option B in the very likely scenario. that this would happen. You know, not. your dream scenario, but more of a 2:00. a.m. at an Applebee's. They just said. last call and this person is here, so. what the hell kind of thing. So, uh. let's hear it. And now, we have another. group. They may be dead, also.
No matter, that's what the backup. backup plan is for. When your ideal. person is gone, you've been shot down by. the last Applebee's patron, not to. mention the cook, bartender, dishwasher, janitor, and person who just loiters. outside asking to bum a smoke, you know. that you could always turn to what. intelligence officials have dubbed the. booty call of Iran's next leadership. So, uh let's hear that third option. So, I guess you have a third wave coming, and pretty sure we're not going to know. anybody. But, uh we have uh.
I mean, Venezuela was so incredible. Or, you can change the subject and just. pretend like it doesn't matter. Holy. there is absolutely no plan. No. plan for going in, no plan for. leadership. We don't even have a clear. timeline. Yesterday, Trump said this war. would take 4 to 5 weeks, and today he. tweeted "Wars can be fought forever.". So, somewhere between forever and a. month and a half. Yes, Americans can. expect the same general timeline as. Trump's marriages. They didn't even have. a plan when it came to getting Americans.
overseas out of harm's way. >> Commercial air travel right now is. severely restricted in the Middle East, and thousands of Americans are stranded. Why wasn't there an evacuation plan, and. will you send planes to get people out? Well, because it it happened all very. quickly. Oh, we know it happened. quickly. That's why you have a plan in. place. It's the same reason people have. a plan not to hug trees during a. thunderstorm because lightning also. happens very quickly. But at least on. the evacuation front, Marco Rubio was. also able to pick up Trump's slack.
Here's the message I want to deliver. Americans who are in the Middle East and. in need of assistance. It is very. important, I ask this of the networks as. well. It is important for you to please. put both the website and the phone. numbers on your screens because we need. people we need to know who where you. are. We need to know we need to have. contact information for Americans that. need assistance. They have to register. with us because as these options begin. to open up and as they open up we have. to be able to call you. We have to be. able to reach you. We have to be able to. know where you're staying so we can get. this information to you and coordinate. appropriately. That's right. Just throw.
some numbers on the screen and hope for. the best because when it comes to this. administration's evacuation of American. citizens, they looked at American Idol's. voting strategy and said, "Yeah, that should work." The reality is. no one should be shocked when it comes. to an action that affects not just the. men and women of military, but every. single taxpayer in this country. Donald. Trump has no plan. I mean, when it was. health care, I have concepts of a plan. We can't even get that. As of last week, Americans were practically unaware that.
their nation was on the cusp of war with. Iran. A war that will cost not just tens. of billions of dollars, but will result. in numerous casualties as well. And. there was no congressional vote for. authorization, no evacuation plan in. place for Americans in harm's way, no. long-term strategy for the future of. what this toppled regime may look like. Now, contrast that with this, Donald. Trump's ballroom. I do have one other. announcement from the White House and. from the president. We are proud to. announce that the construction of the. new White House ballroom will begin. In.
recent weeks, President Trump has held. several meetings with members of the. White House staff, the National Park. Service, the White House Military. Office, and the United States Secret. Service to discuss design features and. planning. Just a reminder that this was. in the summer of 2025, the same time. Trump deployed the National Guard to Los. Angeles, was dealing with the. devastating floods in Texas, and was. strong-arming every Republican member of. Congress to pass his big, beautiful. bill, and yet still, still he had time. to have all those meetings about the. design of the ballroom. But, an.
evacuation plan? It happened all very. quickly. I'm sure it did. Not once did Donald. Trump make his case to Congress, the. American people, or news organizations. on why we needed to go to war with Iran. But, his ballroom. The new ballroom will go from here to. there. And it'll seat a proper number of. people, and the White House will finally. have, after 150 years, the ballroom that. they wanted. You're going to see the. most beautiful ballroom in the world. right now. These these pictures have.
been in newspapers. They've been all. over the place, and you know, we're very. proud of it. It's gotten great reviews. Now, that is true. The reviews were. actually in Time magazine. Well, not the. real one, but the same fake one that. Donald Trump hung up at his golf. courses, where he miraculously made the. cover. Trump talked about it, his press. secretary talked about it. They even had. to submit, get a load of this, plans. The administration is going to. submit its plans for that new ballroom. project to a formal review process, which is expected to be live-streamed in.
a public meeting today. The ballroom is. expected to be completed by the summer. of 2028. Wow, how about that? Even the ballroom. gets a end date. We saw ballroom. photos, the administration took ballroom. questions, there was a ballroom price. tag. I mean, it was total and. doubled, but they at least floated a. number. Donald Trump has put so much. thought into his ballroom, he's still. talking about it while we're at war with. Iran. In about a year and a half from. now, you're going to see a very, very.
beautiful building. And there's your entrance to it right. there. In fact, it looks so nice, I. don't think I'll even I think I'll save. money on the doors, cuz it can't get more beautiful than. that. I picked those drapes in my first term. Yes, while Barack Obama spent his first. term working to provide Americans with. affordable health care, Donald Trump. chose to focus his first term on drapes. Because as we all know, Donald J. Trump. is a drapist. We've seen the photos, we've heard the stories. Trump doesn't. care how old the building is. He will. not take no for an answer, because.
drapists never do. Donald Trump has had more meetings, done. more planning, and has lost more sleep. over his ballroom than he ever has over. his war with Iran. And that's because he. is not fit to be president, he is a. builder. Governance is about having a. strategy for things to go right, and a. plan for when things go wrong. But. incompetence is, oh, how do I put this? It happened all very quickly. Exactly. >> [music]. >> Before you go, if you enjoyed this. content and you want to see more and.

But second, the reality is that we are. now in a political environment where. this administration can lean on any of. the social media platforms to suppress. certain voices if they don't like. critical coverage. That means my. longevity here is in the hands of a few. tech billionaires who are already making. it clear that they are willing to cater. to this administration.
