Trump issues SHOCKING attack at unhinged rally
Donald Trump held another rally because, of course, he did. But, he said. something that actually made my skin. crawl. So, I want you to watch this clip. and then come back for the analysis. because there's something I need to say. >> Thank you for that. So, in 1 year, they. did much less than $1 trillion of. investment. We were losing this country, I'll tell you. And the welfare, you see. all the theft that's going on. Guys are. stealing $100 million, some guy from the. street steals $100 million. It's. It's horrible. The welfare was going.
through the roof, the costs were going. through the roof. It was a disaster. >> Donald Trump wants you outraged about. theft. He wants you white-hot furious. that somewhere out there, some guy is. ripping off a welfare program. And you. know what? If people are committing. fraud, that should be prosecuted. Nobody's disputing that. But, I want you. to sit with the sheer hypocrisy of this. guy, of all people, standing at a. podium, clutching his pearls about. theft. Because while Trump is out here. wagging his finger at some guy from the.
street who may or may not exist, his own. family, which does exist, has turned the. presidency into the most profitable. grift in American history. According to. Trump's own financial disclosure, released this month, he personally made. over a billion dollars last year from. crypto alone. Over $635 million in. royalties just from his meme coin, the. one he launched 3 days before his own. inauguration. Another roughly $600. million from World Liberty Financial,
his family crypto business that he. co-founded with his kids, Don Jr. and. Eric, plus the son of his own special. envoy, Steve Witkoff. And by the way, The Wall Street Journal found that World. Liberty Financial alone has generated at. least $1.4 billion for the Trump and. Witkoff families combined since it. launched, more than his entire real. estate empire made in 8 years. 8 years. of hotels and golf courses and towers. beaten by 16 months of a crypto token.
that no one can even explain the. function of. And it's not just Trump and his older. sons, even Barron Trump, an 18-year-old. kid whose job title is literally D5. visionary, is estimated to have. personally netted around $40 million off. this thing. So, here's a man raging. about some guy off the street stealing. money while his own teenage kid just. made up tens of millions of dollars. because his last name is Trump and he. was handed a title that means nothing. And then there's the military defense. contracts because this is where it gets.
even darker. This isn't meme coins or. internet money, it is actual Pentagon. money, actual taxpayer funds meant for. national defense. The Washington Post. found that investment firms tied to Don. Jr. and Eric have poured money into more. than a dozen defense tech companies. angling for federal contracts. Since. those investments went in, those firms. have landed at least $3.2 billion. in federal contracts. Plus, another 3.1. billion in future contract options.
Senator Elizabeth Warren has been. sounding the alarm on this for over a. year now and she pushed the Pentagon on. what safeguards exist to prevent the. president's own kids from cashing in on. defense spending decisions and the. answer she got back was essentially. none. No effective process, nothing. So, to recap here, a guy on the streets. allegedly steals from a welfare program. and Donald Trump wants him strung up as. the face of American decay. And. meanwhile, his own family is raking in. billions from crypto ventures created.
specifically because he's president and. billions more in defense contracts. flowing to firms that his own sons have. a financial stake in. One of those things is a person breaking. the law, which may or may not exist. The. other is just in plain sight, right in. front of your face grifting dressed up. as normal business because nobody in DC. has the spine to call it what it is. And here's why Donald Trump needs you. looking at some guy from the street. instead of at his own family's balance. sheet. Because the American right, this.
MAGA movement, and the Republican Party. more broadly, has figured out something. incredibly cynical but incredibly. effective. If you can get a guy making. 40,000 bucks a year furious at somebody. making 725 an hour on food stamps, he. will never look up and ask why the guy. making 40 million dollars a year in. crypto royalties pays a lower effective. tax rate than he does. That's the whole. trick. Point down, not up. Always point. down, never up. And think about who actually benefits. from you being enraged about welfare.
fraud, which by every serious estimate. is a tiny fraction of total program. spending versus you being enraged about. uh a defense contracting system where. the president's own kids have a. financial stake in how many drones the. Air Force buys. The answer is obvious. The billionaire class in this country. needs the guy making 40,000 bucks a year. furious at the guy making seven bucks an. hour because the day he turns around and. looks at the guy making 40 million. dollars a year, the jig is up. Listen to. what Donald Trump said in this very.
speech about somebody who spoke to him. about the stock market. >> Numbers that have never been seen. before. So, your 401(k)s, they always. say, "Oh, the stock market stock market. stock market is very important. But I have people coming up to me that. have 401(k)s. They said, "You know, I. was a disaster. My family wouldn't talk. to me. They thought I was a total loser. And now I'm like uh. The one guy said, "I feel like Warren. Buffett.". >> Here's a hint. Anybody who feels like. Warren Buffett in this economy is not.
middle class. They are not a forgotten. American. They're not the very people. who Donald Trump relied on to propel him. into power because that's not who Trump. or Republicans serve, and they know. that. The truth is that you are in boom. times if you're a yacht owner or looking. to benefit from insider trading or. somebody looking to pay your way out of. prison, or one of the dozens of people. who've been let off the hook for. committing fraud so long as they can. channel money into Donald Trump's. pockets. But Trump thinks that if he. throws some crumbs to the plebs, the. working-class Americans, that they.
should all just be fat and happy. It's. trickle-down economics 2.0. The rich get. richer, income inequality is at its. highest point in modern American. history, and Trump gives a few bucks to. the working poor and calls it a day. And Trump knows this, but he needs to. keep you good and distracted. That is. the whole point of these culture war. issues that he surges into the. forefront. They're a distraction from what Trump. and his lackeys are actually doing. Republicans know that their policies are. unpopular. They can't run on denying. climate change, or kowtowing to fossil.
fuel companies, or banning abortion, or. cutting taxes for the ultra-wealthy, but. they can find a shiny culture war topic. to exploit. Remember when it was gay. marriage a few years back? That was. going to destroy America. Then it became. migrant caravans. That was going to. destroy America. Then it was trans. Americans. That was going to destroy. America. Today he's vilifying this. welfare class. There's always some. marginalized group who's to blame for. everybody's problems. And so if you're. mad, it's clearly because the government. isn't focused on you. They're focused on.
gay people, or trans people, or brown. people, or black people, or poor people. But the Republicans know that a. government that recognizes the humanity. of gay, or trans, or brown, or black, or. poor people is not why people feel left. behind. In reality, people feel left. behind because the government doesn't. work for working-class people of any. gender, or ethnicity, or nationality, or. sexual orientation, or socioeconomic. status unless they are rich. Starting in. 1980, Republicans implemented. trickle-down economics, and since that. moment, as you can see on this chart,
income inequality exploded in this. country, and it's never gone back. Republicans wage culture wars so that. the rest of us don't wage class wars. against the very people entrenching and. exacerbating this system. You are not poor because trans people. can use bathrooms. You're not poor. because brown people can get a job that. nobody else will take. You're poor. because the government offers you crumbs. while heaping every advantage under the. sun to the ultra-rich. Trump's cabinet. has more billionaires than any other. administration in history. That is who.
is being served. And it's who they have been working for. since day one, since the moment they. took office. Just like how Trump's first term proved. that he didn't give a about the. working class when he passed the tax. cuts solely intended to help. millionaires and billionaires. But they also know that so long as they. can distract you by shouting about. marginalized people that you'll fall for. it. That is how much disdain they have. for their own audience. They know that. if they just have to wave around. something shiny and no one will realize. that they're getting over by. those very people. Here's James Talarico.
making that point just a few months back. on the campaign trail. >> Here's why they're doing this. There's. another war in the Middle East. There's. a cost of living crisis crushing the. middle class. There's a secret pedophile. ring and no one has been prosecuted. So, the people responsible are trying to. distract us with the same old culture. wars. Trump's own press secretary said. they're not ruling out a military draft. for their new war in Iran. So,
what do we think the American people. care more about? Culture wars or actual. wars? What do we think they care more about? Pronouns or prices? This is what the people in power always. do. They divide us by party, by race, by. gender, by religion, by culture. So, we. don't notice that they are picking our. pockets, that they're closing our. schools, gutting our health care, raising taxes on all of us while they. cut taxes for themselves. It's literally.
the oldest strategy in the world. And. they are afraid of this movement we're. building in Texas. Working people. uniting across all those manufactured. divisions to take on this broken corrupt. political system. You know, Jen, I've. I've spent my entire career in Texas. bringing Democrats and Republicans. together to take on corporate interests, to lower the cost of housing, of child. care, of prescription drugs including. insulin. And now together working people.
in Texas are taking that fight to the US. Senate. >> Donald Trump didn't come out here to fix. welfare fraud. He came out here to give. you someone else to be angry at who. isn't him and isn't his family. Because. the actual biggest beneficiaries of. federal money changing hands in this. country right now is sitting in the Oval. Office and he desperately desperately. does not want you looking in that. direction. >> [music]. >> Before you go, one quick request. It's. become clear to me that this White House. is dead set on preventing me from.
reaching any audience. Trump's decision. to put me as the first name on his. enemies list is a testament to that. But. it didn't quiet down then and I won't do. it now. So please do me a favor and. subscribe to this channel, hit the. notification bell to be alerted when I. post new content, and tune in when I. publish videos so that they get picked. up in the algorithm. The link to. subscribe is right here on the screen. And together let's make sure that we. send a message to this administration. that all they're doing by attacking me. and independent media is making our. platforms all the more powerful. Thanks.
