Trump issues INSANE response to Robert Mueller’s death
It was announced this morning that the. special counsel in charge of. investigating Russian interference in. the 2016 election, Robert Mueller, has. passed away at the age of 81. Within. minutes, Trump took to Truth Social and. wrote, "Robert Mueller just died. Good, I'm glad he's dead. He can no longer. hurt innocent people. President Donald. J. Trump.". Take a minute and consider that. evangelicals have compared Donald Trump. to Christ. Just sit with that for a. moment. Trump is dancing on the grave of. a long-time public servant, a Republican. prosecutor, because that prosecutor.
rightly investigated Russian collusion. with his campaign. And yet, somehow, Trump is making the investigator out to. be the bad guy for exposing his own. corruption. Yeah, that sounds about. right for Donald Trump. What's telling. here is that Trump thinks that Mueller. was a hack, but that his own attorney. general, Pam Bondi, is a legitimate. prosecutor. In fact, here's Pam Bondi. lying on Trump's behalf about Mueller. himself. They sure did. They tried to. impeach him twice, and you, Mr. Nadler, were one of the leads on the.
impeachment. I was on the other side. I. lived that with you. During impeachment, you said the president conspired, sought. foreign interference in the 2016. election. Robert Mueller found no. evidence, none, of foreign interference. in 2016. Have you apologized to. President Trump? Have you apologized to. President Trump, all of you who. participated in those impeachment. hearings against Donald Trump? You all. should be apologizing. You sit here and.
you attack the president, and I am not. going to have it. I'm not going to put. up with it. You know, all they want to. do, all the the American people need to. know this. They are talking about. Epstein today. This has been around. since the Obama administration. This. administration released over 3 million. pages of documents, over 3 million, and. Donald Trump signed that law. Now, you'll be shocked, shocked, to learn. that that was a complete lie. Mueller.
not only found evidence of foreign. interference in 2016, but 34 individuals. and three companies were charged, including Paul Manafort, Trump's. campaign chairman, who pleaded guilty to. conspiracy against the US and witness. tampering, and was convicted of bank. fraud and tax evasion. Rick Gates, Manafort's deputy, who pleaded guilty to. conspiracy and false statements. Michael. Flynn, Trump's national security. advisor, who pleaded guilty to make. making false statements to the FBI about. contacts with Russia. George. Papadopoulos, a foreign policy advisor, who pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI.
about contacts with Russians offering. damaging information on Hillary Clinton. Roger Stone was convicted of obstruction. and false statements and witness. tampering related to his efforts to. block investigations into WikiLeaks. role. And Michael Cohen, Trump's then. personal lawyer and fixer, who pleaded. guilty to false statements about the. Trump Tower Moscow project and campaign. finance violations related to hush money. payouts. Again, those people all pleaded. guilty. And there was evidence even. implicating Trump himself, but Mueller. only declined to recommend charges. because of the Office of Legal Counsel.
memo stating that a sitting president. cannot be indicted. So, it really is. telling to hear Pam Bondi lie so. brazenly, not just because of her. hysterical ignorance of the truth, but. also because that is the kind of person. who Trump surrounds himself with. Not a. person who has any adherence to the law. or the truth or reality, but a shameless. partisan hack who will lie with abandon. so long as it's in service of him. Now, I know that the reaction to this. disgusting message is that a lot of. people are saying that Trump hit a new. low. Reality is that he didn't. This is.
exactly as low as he's always been. I. know that every week in the Trump era. feels like a year, but just a few months. ago, after Rob Reiner and his wife were. tragically killed, Trump took to Truth. Social then, writing, quote, "A very sad. thing happened last night in Hollywood. Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director. and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michelle, reportedly due to the anger he caused. others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a. mind-crippling disease known as Trump.
Derangement Syndrome, sometimes referred. to as TDS. He was known to have driven. people crazy by his raging obsession of. President Donald J. Trump, with his. obvious paranoia reaching new heights as. the Trump administration surpassed all. goals and expectations of greatness, and. with the golden age of America upon us, perhaps like never before, may Rob and. Michelle rest in peace. Again, posts. like this are not beneath him. It is. exactly par for the course. This is. precisely who Trump is and who he's. always been. Dude is a one-trick pony.
who can only attack people because he is. a car crash that everybody can't look. away from. He is an ego-maniacal. narcissist who thinks the world revolves. around him. He doesn't have a decent. bone in his body, and it's. telling that the more people who see. this, the less they like him. He's got. full control of government and has only. managed to watch his own approval rating. plummet to the lowest point of any. president in modern American history. That is not an accident. It is because. people are learning who Trump is. And most importantly, here is Rob. Reiner's reaction to the killing of.
Charlie Kirk. When you first heard about. the murder of Charlie Kirk, what was. your immediate gut reaction to it? Well, horror. Uh absolute horror. Uh and I. unfortunately. saw the video of it, and uh it's uh. it's indis- it's beyond belief. what happened to him, and. uh that should never happen to anybody. I don't care what your political beliefs. are, that's not acceptable. That's not a.
solution. uh to uh to solving problems. And uh I. felt like what uh his wife said at the. uh the service at the memorial they had. was exactly right. And totally, I. believe, you know, I'm I'm Jewish, but I. uh I believe in the teachings of Jesus, and uh I believe in doing to others, and. I believe in forgiveness. And what she. said to me was. uh uh beautiful. And absolutely, you.
know, she she forgave. um. his his assassin. And I think that that. is uh admirable. In other words, even. Reiner himself showed the grace that the. leader of the Republican Party, the. president of the United States, is. apparently incapable of showing. And. yet, not a single person on the right. who clutched their pearls over the. left's remorseful reaction to the Kirk. shooting will utter a word, because it's. not about any semblance of principles. It is about wanting to feel like the. victim, always. What's telling, too, is.
that egregious double standard at play. between how the right and the left treat. death in this country. In the aftermath, again, of the Charlie Kirk shooting, the. State Department literally announced. that it would not allow people into this. country who, quote, "made light of. Charlie Kirk's death." Trump vowed to. monitor political speech, revoke visas, and designate far-left groups like. Antifa as domestic terrorists in. response to the attack. Secretary of. Defense Pete Hegseth announced an. investigation into the reactions of. members of the US Armed Forces, as well. as subsequent firings and dismissals of.
those found to have made comments about. Kirk. J.D. Vance, the vice president, called for people heard to have made. remarks deemed uncivil to Kirk to be. reported to their employers for. termination. Trump announced that any. network that criticized him too harshly. could be subject to a revocation of. their broadcast license. And that was in. light of the fact that virtually every. high-profile left-wing commentator, politician, and personality immediately. lamented Charlie Kirk's death. In fact, there was a viral mashup created in the. wake of that Kirk shooting that showed.
left-wing figures immediately condemning. the violence. Obama wrote, "We don't yet. know what motivated the person who shot. and killed Charlie Kirk, but this kind. of despicable violence has no place in. our democracy. Michelle and I will be. praying for Charlie's family tonight, especially his wife, Erica, and their. two young children." Joe Biden wrote, "There is no place in our country for. this kind of violence. It must end now. Jill and I are praying for Charlie. Kirk's family and loved ones." Mehdi. Hasan wrote, "Horrific news out of Utah. I hope Kirk and anyone else affected are. okay. Political violence and gun. violence is never acceptable, excusable,
or justifiable." Cenk Uygur wrote, "What. happened to Charlie Kirk is one of the. worst things that has happened in. American politics. My heart goes out to. his family. whoever did this. Not. only is it deeply tragic by itself, but. we are now all in danger. Violence is. always wrong, and it's intellectual. surrender." Bernie Sanders wrote, "Political violence has no place in this. country. We must condemn this horrifying. attack." Zaron Mamdani wrote, "I'm. horrified by the shooting of Charlie. Kirk at a college event in Utah. Political violence has no place in our. country." Gavin Newsom wrote, "The. attack on Charlie Kirk is disgusting, violent, and reprehensible. In the.
United States of America, we must reject. political violence in every form." Even. I'm on there. "The Charlie Kirk shooting. is beyond horrific, legitimately. disgusted at the broken state of this. country." And that's a recurring theme. on the right. Republicans clutch their. pearls about states' rights only until. they give up the game and prove it was. never about states' rights. They clutch. their pearls about fiscal responsibility. only until they blow up the debt far. more than any Democrat ever has. They. clutch their pearls their pearls about. family values only until they rally. behind a serial sexual predator as their. party's leader. They rail about.
classified emails only until their side. invites a liberal reporter into an. unsecure signal chat to discuss war. plans. They rail against a Democratic. president talking to an attorney general. only until Trump begins DMing Pam his. little edicts on social media. The list. goes on and on and on. The right offers. a master class in pretending to have red. lines, only to show conspicuous silence. the very moment they themselves cross. it. It should tell you that it's not. about principles. It is about making a. show of pretending to be mad so they can.
feel like victims. The poor GOP, in full. control of government, and yet somehow. completely helpless. Rinse and repeat. So, I'll do what the president of the. United States is apparently incapable of. doing, sending condolences to the family. of Robert Mueller, and remembering his. long history of service to this country. If only the leader of the party of. family values could bring himself to do. the same.
