Trump hit with BRUTAL UPDATE as MISSING Epstein files revealed

I'm joined now by Congressman Ro Khanna. Congressman, thanks for joining me. again. Thank you for having me, Brian. So, we have some big news here in the. sense that some of the documents that. had been missing from the Epstein files. that implicate Donald Trump have been. returned back online. So, can you speak. a little bit about the documents that. had been missing that now have been have. been returned and now publicly viewable? The Department of Justice just admitted. that they made a mistake. They said that. the public scrutiny forced them to look. at the files again and suddenly they.

found out the documents that were. duplicative actually were not. duplicative and they needed to release. them. And they also needed to release. some of these prosecution memos that. they haven't released before. Basically, this shows that public pressure works, that public calling them out forces them. to get past their cover-up. But, they. have released three FBI interviews with. a woman who made. very shocking allegations against Donald. Trump that she was raped as a minor when.

she was 13. I mean, it is. a horrific allegations. I don't know the. truth of them. I haven't read even the. files yet. But, what this shows is there. was a cover-up and it's only because. people like you, Brian, spoke up. It's. only because Massie and me spoke up and. the public pressure that they're. releasing these files. In terms of. what this shows, I mean, you had. mentioned it's it's not even necessarily. about the accusations. as it usually isn't. It's usually the. cover-up that that gets these people. And so, given the fact that it's so.

clear what the DOJ is doing, that it. just so happens that the documents that. are being suppressed are the ones that. implicate Donald Trump directly, what. are next steps now in terms of broader. accountability that needs to take place? Well, Brian, is we we can't give up. We. have to continue to be vigilant. It was. excellent reporting by NPR, by Roger. Sollenberger, who found out these. inconsistencies. So, we need to continue. to go through the 3 million files almost. like a jigsaw puzzle looking for what. else is missing and then have the public.

outcry to get them to respond. We know. that that works. We know that. they are very sensitive to these charges. of a cover-up. We also need frankly the. judge to appoint a special master. I. mean they made enough mistakes that. Judge Engelberger Jed. Berman should say, we need a special. master to go through these documents and. release them. Pam Bondi coincidentally. did this after Nancy Mason I succeeded. in getting her subpoena in oversight. And she's seen Christina will be fired. having lost senators on the Republican. side. So she's saying okay, what happens.

if I go to this oversight and then it's. not just Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna and. Robert Garcia grilling me. Now I'm going. to have Nancy Mason, Tim Burchett and. and and Republicans grilling me and. that's why I think she wants to do. whatever she can to be avoid that kind. of fate. Do you think that we're going to get. adequate or or satisfactory answers from. Pam Bondi when she goes in front of the. oversight committee? It all depends how much the Republicans. question her. She can hurl insults at me. and hurl insults at Robert Garcia and.

Jasmine Crockett. Maybe [clears throat]. she can get away hurling insults at. Thomas Massie and even Nancy Mace. But. Tim Burchett and Luna represent Luna and. if representative Boebert and if. suddenly five, six, seven Republicans. start to turn on her, then she's going. to have Christina's fate. Then Donald. Trump's going to look at this and say. wow, you know, she's lost the. confidence. And she saw that. It's not. coincidental that Mason Mason I forced. the vote yesterday that we won the vote, that five Republicans are suddenly. defected and then today we get the.

documents. I mean these things are not. coincidental. So what does this show? That building coalitions like I have. done with Mason, Massie and. Marjorie Taylor Greene and building. public pressure works. That we have won. again and again and again against. Trump's lawlessness. We have forced him. again and again to bend to our will and. it should be a model for other areas as. well. What does the fact that Christie Noem is. now out of her job in the aftermath of. being questioned to your point, it. wasn't the the line of questioning from.

any Democrats that really did her in. It. was it was I think that people can admit. it was probably the the line of. questioning from Republican John. Kennedy. That's the basis for what would. ultimately, you know, become the issue. that that that that led to the end of. her job. And so, what does the fact that that we see that. these administration officials are not. immune from pressure? What does that say. as it relates to Pam Bondi and her. handling of the Epstein files? It says that the way to hold Donald. Trump accountable is to break the MAGA.

coalition. It is to find enough. Republicans willing to speak out about. their their betrayal. That's what we. need to do when it comes to the illegal. war in Iran. Unfortunately, we got two. Republicans, Warren Davidson and Massie. We need to. continue to look for more. That's what. we did, of course, in Epstein where the. dam is totally cracked. And that's what. we did with Noem where even John Kennedy. is saying, "Look, I can't have ice. killing American citizens. I can't have. you lying about your funds and where.

your money is coming from in terms of. putting out your own image across the. nation.". Democrats need to. build these coalitions to to hold. Pam Bondi accountable, get her fired, and and and to hold Trump accountable. Well, you had mentioned Iran, and I. actually want to move over to that topic. briefly. This War Powers Resolution. failed. And so, is that going to be it. in terms of being able to to. allow Congress to assert its authority? Does that mean that Donald Trump can now. just basically has a clear runway to.

invade foreign countries, overthrow. their governments like he's doing in. Venezuela, like he's done done in Iran, and and now he has basically a blank. check to do so wherever he wants because. Congress has. you know, just previously refused to. assert any authority? No, first of all, we had a strong vote. I mean, Massie and I led this, but. we got all Democrats other than four. That's extraordinary. We had Josh. Gottheimer vote for this. We had the.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz vote for this. And it was because of the partnership. with Hakeem Jeffries, who showed. incredible leadership. What does this. mean? It means that Republicans own this. illegal war with six service members. dead with a billion dollars a day. Think. about that, Brian. For 50 days of this. war, we could have free public college. for everyone in America and a thousand. trade schools. So, I believe that we can. get there in a future war powers. resolution. We're close. The important. things is we have a unified Democratic. Party. We need about four or five more.

Republicans and a couple flip a couple. Democrats. Second, we can stop the. funding. That is the next fight. No Iran. supplemental. Not a single dollar goes. to. this illegal war. And third, we can bring up other war. powers resolutions in the future. So, this is the beginning of the fight, but. we already started in a. pretty strong position. So, that you had brought up a really. important point that we could have. all the things that we could fund with. the amount of money that we're spending. each individual day in these foreign.

military incursions. Is there no. recognition from a Republican Party. whose entire branding was America first. that in fact all of this all of their. own America first agenda items are being. thrown by the wayside in deference to. exactly the thing that they ran against, which is you know, foreign wars? There's no recognition from the. political class, but there's a. recognition from MAGA base voters. I. mean, you look at some of the base. voters and their. leaders and they're saying they covered. up the Epstein files even though they.

promised they would be released, and. they're getting us into foreign wars. even though they promised they'd be. investing in jobs at home. It's a total. betrayal of what they voted for. And. they're going to see this in 2026 and. 2028. The Democrats need to lead front. and center with moral clarity. We're. going to hold the Epstein class. accountable. We are the party taking on. the corrupt elites who have corrupted. the government. We're going to say no. wars. We're the party that is going to. get us out of these overseas wars, be. the anti-war party, and invest in the. jobs and health care and child care and.

housing of people in America in our. communities. This is the clear time for. the Democrats to have the moral clarity. and moral high ground and win back. people who voted for Trump. So I want to move over to one last topic. here, and that is as far as foreign. affairs are concerned, you had expressed. support for selling Nvidia one of. Nvidia's strongest chips, that's the. the H200 chip to China. Now the way I I. had thought about this, and I'm not. super up on on Nvidia's chips, is that.

it's it's doesn't seem rational on its. face to give some of our our strongest. IP to a foreign adversary or competitor, especially one that has a reputation for. ripping off American IP. And so. can you explain a little bit of your. justification for supporting sending. these chips over to China? Absolutely. I am opposed to sending. Rubins and Blackwills, the things that. have two-year, three-year leads. In the. case of H200s, I mean I've spoken with.

Jensen Huang and some of the. technology leaders and experts, and the. reality is if we do not. have some export of that, which is two. to three years behind, you're going to. have Huawei basically build out the. Chinese compute power. And I don't think. that that's in the interest of the. United States both our market share or. our security. We want them to be. dependent on our technology. So the way. I look at it is we shouldn't sell them. the latest things. We shouldn't give.

them an edge on compute power, but we. should be open to giving them things. that are generations behind that they're. going to get anyway Uh if it's a. substitute for Huawei. Okay. All right. Well, that's that that seems reasonable. enough. Congressman, as always, you. know, we we speak on a on a weekly. basis. I don't want to repeat on behalf. of myself and folks who are watching. this right now. Thanks for the work. you're doing. Thanks for stepping up. especially in a in a vacuum of. leadership on this issue in particular. whether it's the War Powers Resolution.

for Iran or the Epstein files as well, which we talk about every week. But I. appreciate it and I appreciate the time. today. Well, thank you, Brian. Thank you. for your strong voice. It's making a. difference. It's people like you who are. putting pressure on the Justice. Department in the absence of Congress. acting in the absence of judges, people like you and journalists are. what's forcing the release. Do not give. up. Let's continue to fight. These are. the fault lines for Donald Trump. The. war in the in the Middle East, stopping. that, holding the Epstein class. accountable, fighting for the release of.
