Trump FLAILS with INSANE war announcement
I think this makes it abundantly clear. that Donald Trump is drowning when it. comes to his new war with Iran. Had we. not done the B-2 raid, and if we not. done this one where we said, "Help, it's. time to go in. We have to go in. Have no. choice." Number one, if we didn't go in, they would have come in after us because. I see the Democrats trying to justify. it, and they're failing because the. voter on the street is saying, "You got. to be kidding.". But I see where they're going where. they're always saying, "No, no, there. was no reason." Well, I'll give you the. best reason of all.
Within a week, they were going to attack. us 100%. They were ready. They had all. these missiles, far more than anyone. thought. And they were going to attack us, but. they were going to attack all of the. Middle East and Israel. And if they had. a nuclear weapon, they would have used. it on Israel. And this was going to be a major attack. And they had all of those missile sites. and all those launchers that we got rid. of about 80% of them right now, by the. way. Got rid of most of the you know see. it's died down to a trickle. A very few. launchers left. What our military has.
done is amazing. They wiped out the. almost if 20%, maybe 22, 23%, but it the. rest are going very quickly. And the missiles have been largely. knocked out. Uh the drones have been knocked down, and we're hitting where they make the. drones. We know them all. And we're knocking the hell out of that. now where they manufacture the drones. So, what Trump is saying is that we. needed to engage in a war with Iran. because, and I hope you're sitting down. for this, Iran was on the cusp of. attacking us within a week. Look, I'm.
not a foreign policy expert. I'm not a. war expert. But if you think that Iran. was going to attack the United States of. America within 7 days, then I beg you to. disconnect your phone because if a. Nigerian prince hasn't already taken all. of your life savings, he's going to. And. then, of course, Donald Trump says that. even though Iran has all of these. missiles, it's all good because we got. rid of them, which would maybe carry. just a little more weight if 6 months.
ago he didn't basically say the exact. same thing the first time he decided to. bomb Iran. Tonight I can report to the. world that the strikes were a. spectacular. military success. Iran's key nuclear enrichment facilities. have been completely and totally. obliterated. So, Iran's nuclear. capabilities were obliterated and yet we. needed to go back in because otherwise. they would have been able to strike us. with the apparently not any more. obliterated capabilities. Please,
someone who speaks help me. In. fact, I brought up this point with. Governor Gavin Newsom and he highlighted. perfectly the incoherence of Trump's. Iran strategy. Trump is consistent in. his inconsistency, the fact that he said. he would never do something like this. and lied about it. J.D. Vance did the. same. Uh people like Tulsi Gabbard did. the same. You go through the list of all. these MAGA guys. They lied. And so. that's unsurprising, but here we are uh. with now a regional war. We've got the. Gulf states under attack. We've got our. allies under attack. Uh we now have oil.
prices starting to skyrocket. We got. Strait of Hormuz Hormuz which has 20% of. the world's oil passing through it with. not a lot of activity. We've seen the. market volatility. Uh we're now going to. pay the price. Six people uh members of. the military have lost their lives. Uh. others likely are going to lose their. lives. Uh and again, Trump can't land on. a rationale. No imminent threat. Yes, there was an imminent threat. Oh, inevitably there would have been because. Israel was going to go anyway, says. Rubio. And then they shapeshift again, say, "Well, no, it's about the nuclear.
program." Wait, you just said it was. obliterated. So, that doesn't fall. through. No, it's about the missiles. No, it's about the proxies and the. militia. No, it's about the navy. Uh. they cannot simply land on any. rationale. And so it's a remarkable. remarkable expression. uh of sort of this cluelessness in terms. of the foreign policy, but the profound. consequences in real time, unintended. and intended that we're all going to. have to suffer through. And of course to. watch this full interview and all other. interviews, the best way to do that is.

And then of course came the. conflicting messages on how long this is. even going to last. This was Trump. today. It's a better, stronger and our. country is. doing really well. I mean at a level. that nobody thought. We took a little. excursion because we felt we had to do. that to get rid of some evil. And I think you'll see it's going to be. a short-term excursion. How good is our military, right?
>> [cheering]. >> Amazing. How good? Short-term. >> [applause]. >> Short-term. >> [applause]. >> Thank you. They're great. Yeah, just a. little excursion, just a little teensy. weensy side quest, a limited operation, or as the Department of War put it. today, we have only just begun to fight. Yeah, see? We're finally at war, but.
also this is just a minor conflict. But. we're going to make them wish they were. never born, but also it's just a limited. incursion. But we have only just begun. But also I wouldn't quite call this a. war. Are you following along yet? In fact, Donald Trump was asked point-blank about. this glaring contradiction in the. federal government's messaging. Here's. what he had to say. Thank you. Mr. President, you've said the war is quote. very complete, but your defense. secretary says this is just the. beginning. So which is it and how long. should Americans be prepared Well, I.
think it goes both. The beginning, it's the beginning of. building a new country. But they certainly they have no navy, they have no air force. They have no anti-aircraft. equipment. It's all been blown up. They. have no radar. They have no telecommunications. and they have no leadership. It's all. gone. So, you know, you could look at that. statement. We could we could call it a. tremendous success right now as we leave. here. I could call it or we could go. further.
and we're going to go further. Duh, it's. both. It is the beginning of a forever. war that is also basically over. What's. so difficult to understand here? We're. practically finished and also just. getting started. This thing is basically. done and also might never end. Now do you understand? The reality is. that the reason it feels like there is. no plan is because there is no plan. This president has spent more time. preparing his ballroom than he has. another full-blown war in the Middle. East, which would be bad enough onto.
itself, but remember this is someone who. campaigned expressly on no new wars. I'm. not going to start a war. I'm going to. stop wars. No more wars, no more disruptions. We. will have prosperity and we will have. peace. Under Trump, we will have no more. wars, no more disruptions and we will. have prosperity and peace for all. I am. the candidate of peace. I am peace. And. yet, here we are in the middle of a war. with no end date, no objective, no. information, and no plan. And yet, this.
is exactly what you could come to expect. from a president who has made a career. out of saying one thing to his voters. and then delivering another once he has. power. Whether it's his promises to. lower cost, to protect healthcare, bring. down inflation, release the Epstein. files, make IVF free, or any of the. other dozens of ideas he dangled in. front of the rubes, this guy never had. any intention of holding true to a. single promise. It was all window. dressing to fool the people in his base. This is what you get with Republican. governance. Not just Trump, but every.
single other Republican who has the. ability to hold them to account and. never exercise their power to do so. Something to consider when we all head. to the polls just a few months from now. in November. certain voices if they don't like. critical coverage. That means my. longevity here is in the hands of a few. tech billionaires who are already making. it clear that they are willing to cater. to this administration.
