Trump FEUD with Bad Bunny EXPLODES ahead of Super Bowl

It looks like the White House has. decided to escalate its feud with one of. the most successful musicians on the. face of the earth. To set the stage. here, you likely saw Bad Bunny say this. at the Grammys just a couple of days. back. Um, before I say. thanks to God, I'm going to say. ice out. >> Ice out. a condemnation on a national. well global stage of one of Trump's.

signature policies as Donald Trump. unleashes ICE on neighborhoods across. the country which of course explains why. Caroline Levit followed by saying this. >> sorry on the statements of Bad Bunny. saying ice out. >> Yeah. I mean, look, I I think it's very. um ironic and frankly sad to see. celebrities who live in gated. communities with private security um. with millions of dollars to spend. protecting themselves um trying to just. demonize again, law enforcement, uh.

public servants who work for the United. States government to enforce our. nation's laws. Uh, and you didn't hear. this same type of uproar from. celebrities in Hollywood when the. previous administration allowed an. invasion of our nation's borders and. allowed innocent women and girls like. Joselyn Nungare and Lake and Riley uh to. be killed and raped and murdered at the. hands of people who should have never. been in our country in the first place. And now you have law enforcement who are. simply trying to do their jobs to remove.

violent predators like those who took. the lives of innocent Americans. There. was no uproar from Hollywood and the. elitist crowd at the Grammys then. Uh. but there is now and I think that speaks. to um the unfortunate irony that we're. seeing in Hollywood. >> So Caroline Levit is trying to claim. that the celebrities, musicians, and. artists who oppose a rogue militia. murdering Americans in the streets. somehow makes them the out of touch. ones. I'm sorry. Is opposing a secret. police force somehow the elitist. position now? Because last I checked,

more than twothirds of Americans of all. ends of the political spectrum have. agreed that ICE has gone too far. And. yet, here's Caroline Levit trying to. convince us that just because a. celebrity lives in a nice house somehow. disqualifies them from agreeing with the. national consensus that ICE should leave. our communities. And of course, Levit. suggests that nobody can express. disapproval of ICE because immigrants. came into the country during the Biden. era. Talk about a false equivalency. immigrants entering this country is not. the same as state sponsored officials. who can and do kill with impunity. The.

notion that these two things are even in. the same universe is evidence of the. massive amount of disdain this White. House has for us. But in fairness, let's. tackle Levit's other point that some of. those immigrants have committed violent. crimes. Yes, that is obviously horrific. and yes, those people should be held. accountable to the fullest extent of the. law and if they're undocumented, they. should be deported. That is completely. acceptable. But let's be honest, this. isn't actually about violent crime. Because if it was, the White House would. focus on the violent criminals. And the.

reality is that immigrants commit crimes. at lower numbers than native born. Americans. And areas with undocumented. immigrants generally have lower rates of. violent crime than areas with higher. nativeorn populations. Studies, for. example, show that as unauthorized. immigration increases, violent crime. actually decreases or there's no effect, depending on the type of crime, according to one national study. The. same thing holds true for some metro. level jurisdictions which experience. lower crime rates as the number of. unauthorized immigrant residents. increase. And there is no difference in. violent crime, rape or property crime.

rates in sanctuary cities and. non-sanctuary cities. All of which is a. point that I made on CNN. If this is. really about crime, how does that answer. the question of nativeorn populations. commit crimes at higher rates than. immigrant populations? If this is truly. about crime, >> National Guard is in Chicago for what. did he say? I want the National Guard in. Chicago to only for illegal immigrants. No. Why did the National Guard go to. Washington DC? Why? Because it is it was. a dangerous city that was not being run.

well and it had. >> We're not talking about that though. If. you're sending ICE if you're sending ICE. into Minneapolis right now. >> and gun violence rates are down across. the country because of these. deportations and. >> because of these deportations. Again, again, immigrant populations commit. crimes at lower rates than nativeorn. population. So again, the question. remains, if this is actually about. crime, how do you answer for the fact. that that it's that it's not immigrants. who are committing crimes at higher. rates than last word cuz we're out of. time. Go ahead. >> Immigrants, illegal immigrants, and. native population, three different.

categories. You are lumping in illegal. immigrants and regular immigrants, which. I don't think is a fair combination. >> Undocumented immigrants and immigrants. who are documented both commit crimes at. lower rates than nativeorn Americans. >> But that's not why Donald Trump focuses. on immigrants for crime. He focuses on. immigrants because demagogues rely on. othering people as a way to explain away. problems where the truth is too. inconvenient for them. Don't have enough. money? Well, that's because the. government is giving it all to the. immigrants. Don't have a job? Well, that's because the immigrants are taking. them from you. Every problem can always.

be explained away by pointing to the. most vulnerable in society. Which brings. us back to Bad Bunny because just today, this was Caroline Levit again as Fox's. Peter Ducy sought to escalate tensions. once more. And just one more about this. weekend at the Mara Lago Super Bowl. party. After the first two quarters, are. the TVs going to be on the halftime show. with Bad Bunny or the halftime show with. Kid Rock? >> I think the president would much prefer. a Kid Rock performance over Bad Bunny. I. must say that. >> And of course, this is all part of the.

right-wing narrative that even watching. the Super Bowl halftime show is a. Democrat thing to do because they have. counterprogramming. Turning Point USA is. sponsoring its own show that includes. Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Bryce, and Gabby Barrett. And to that I say, who? And I'm not even trying to be a. dick. I legitimately have no idea who. three of those four people are. Of. course, I do know who Kid Rock is. He's. the guy who once released a song with. lyrics that included, "I like him.

underage, and some say that's statutory, but I say it's mandatory." which I guess. explains why he's so popular in today's. GOP. So, look, if you want to put those. people against Bad Bunny, go for it. If. you want to put a washed up Trump hanger. on and three people who I couldn't. identify if they were sitting on my lap. up against Bad Bunny, who holds 17 Latin. Grammys, 16 Billboard Music Awards, and. 54 Billboard Latin Music Awards, who has. 82 billion streams and 123 million album. sales, placing him 50th all time in.

sales history. Be my guest. Maybe. they've got a humiliation fetish. And. look, it's fair to ask here, why does. this matter? And the answer is because. politics is downstream of culture and. culture dictates the national mood. In. the leadup to 2024, there was a big. backlash against progressivism in this. country. You can disagree with the. merits of it, but you can't disagree. that it happened. The whole reason that. the Madosphere podcast exploded is. because they led the charge for Trump. and Republicans against the quote. unquote woke left. But that's gone. In.

fact, those same Manosphere podcasters. are now trashing Trump and his. administration on a daily basis. And. now, far from these musicians and. artists remaining silent on Trump, which. they clearly would have done in the. past, they feel comfortable enough to. openly trash him. That doesn't happen in. a vacuum. And millions of people listen. to people like Bad Bunny and use his. words as not only a bellweather for. where the national mood is, but a. permission structure to speak out. themselves. I'm not here to delude. anybody about the outsized impact that. celebrities have in politics. I know. that an endorsement of Beyonce isn't.

going to swing a national election, but. I'm also not here to pretend that these. people speaking out isn't still. instructive in more ways than one. So, if conservatives want to boycott the. halftime show, if they want to take. their ball and go home, if they want to. saddle themselves with a rock artist who. peaked when I was a baby, literally no. one is stopping them. But don't cry. about cancel culture when you can't. bring your fragile eyes to watch a show. performed by an artist who better. reflects the mood in America than even. you do. Before.
