Trump descends into PANIC over Epstein files ARREST | Another Day
Prince Andrew gets nicked for being a. wee naughty lad. Sorry, that accent really makes things. just seem less worse than they are. This. is just another day. As Donald Trump's administration. continues to provide cover for each of. the president's rich friends in the. Epstein files, some other countries are. handling things a bit differently. A. stunning development in Great Britain. Former Prince Andrew arrested arrested. in connection with his ties to Jeffrey. Epstein. It follows weeks of new.
revelations about their friendship. following the US Justice Department's. release of millions of files from the. Epstein case. Wow, turns out that if you. instruct law enforcement to read the. files as opposed to talking about your. nation's financial success. >> The Dow is over 50,000. right now. >> People can actually be held accountable. But this is huge. As you may remember. last year King Charles stripped his. brother of his titles, banished him from. the monarchy, and sent him to live out. the rest of his years in exile, which is.
exactly where Andrew was arrested this. morning. >> Law enforcement launching a coordinated. operation on King Charles's private. estate in Sandringham, where Andrew had. been sent into effective exile. Okay, just to be clear, this is the home that. they chose to exile him to? This was the. domicile of discipline? The retreat of. retribution? The confines of. consequence? I may not speak for. everyone here, but being exiled in. England seems pretty sweet. I. imagine the Zillow listing starts with. your exile awaits. So, how did Andrew.
finally meet his fate? Was it new photos. or videos of him with young women? Some. new emails that show that he was even. more involved with Epstein's sex. trafficking than previously known? >> The suspicion of public misconduct. misconduct while in public office linked. to the time that Andrew was a trade. envoy. This is back in. the 2000s when he was traveling the. world. And the idea here, the suspicion. here is that he was sharing confidential. information to people including Epstein. for financial benefit.
>> Okay, two things. First, it is wild that. the former prince has been arrested not. over this, but because of accusations. that he had shared confidential. government information as a trade envoy. for the government with Epstein. And. second, am I wrong or did you just. pronounce his name Epstein? Epstein? Seriously? Epstein? The entire. world has been saying this guy's name on. a daily basis for as long as I can. remember, and you're going with Epstein? Tell you what, maybe uh take a beat,
grab a beerstein, throw on some. burnstein, or pop on Netflix and watch. the new Frankenstein, and then come back. and remember the billionaire pedophile's. name is pronounced Jeffrey Epstein. Now, since this news has just broke this. morning, a lot of things are still. developing. But in England, especially. right now, certain matters need to be. attended to more than others. People are. talking at the moment, you know, you. about protocol and things like that, and. what happens next. Well, this guy is. actually still in the line of. succession. That needs to just happen. immediately and just dealt with, you.
know. You just cannot have this guy, even the fact that, you know, we've got. a cold case that could follow and what. we don't know what's going to happen. next. But he's he's technically in the. line of succession to the British. throne. It's just making a mockery. really of this country, and I think that. I mean, this is truly truly historic. Exactly. You can't have a man with that. type of horrific judgment who at the. very least was aware of the abusive. behavior Jeffrey Epstein was engaged in. being put in a position of power. As he. said, that would make a complete mockery. of the entire country.
But hey, I guess this just goes to show. that there are other differences between. America and Britain besides calling the. elevator a lift, a cookie a biscuit, and. calling that 1950s sitcom bugger off it. to beaver. Turns out across the pond, they have much more time to devote to. digging through the Epstein files. CBS. News also knows the Thames Valley police. started looking into claims concerning. former Prince Andrew and sex offender. Jeffrey Epstein about a week ago. A week. ago? Pam Bondi had the files on her desk.
for a year and still hasn't done. And they took action in a week? But look, you know what? We got to cut. Trump some slack here. I mean, in his. defense, you would need a parade of. lawyers basically working for free to be. able to dig through the 6 million pages. of documents in the Epstein files. >> Kelly, [music] another major law firm. has cut a deal with the Trump. administra- administration to avoid. retaliation from the White House. In. this case, it's Skadden Arps. The. president just a short time ago. announcing that Skadden Arps has come to.
what he calls a settlement with the. White House. in terms of political activity. They say. that here at the White House that. Skadden Arps is going to provide $100. million in pro bono legal services. during the Trump administration to. causes that the president and Skadden. Arps both agree with. $100 million of. free legal work. Or to put that another. way, 1/4 of an unnecessary ballrooms. worth of free legal work. It is worth. remembering that this isn't just some. wealthy distant cousin in the royal. family that we're talking about here. This is the brother of the king. A king.
who immediately weighed in on the arrest. of his sibling. A statement from His. Majesty the King. I have learned with the deepest concern. the news about Andrew. Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of. misconduct in public office. What now. follows is the full, fair, and proper. process by which this issue is. investigated in the appropriate manner. and by the appropriate authorities. In. this, as I have said before, they have. our full and wholehearted support and. cooperation. Let me state clearly, the. law must take its course. And that is.
what accountability looks like. Over. there. Whereas over here, Prince Andrew. arrested by the police there, um, related to something with Jeffrey. Epstein. Do you think people in this country at. some point, associates of Jeffrey. Epstein, will wind up in handcuffs, too. Well, you know, I'm the expert in a way. because I've been totally exonerated. It's very nice. I can actually speak. about it very nicely. And doesn't that. bring the victims the comfort they've. been looking for for so long, to know. how nicely our president can talk about.
the Epstein files? Not only does Donald. Trump refuse to even entertain the idea. of holding one of these men accountable. for their relationship with Epstein, this morning he was happy to show the. world how much of a he doesn't. give. It's always nice to be young and. handsome. Doesn't mean we have to like you. I don't like young, handsome men. Women, I tend to like. That's right. He. likes them so much, he's been known to. spend $5 million showing them. The. reality is this administration has all.
the time, money, and resources at their. disposal to properly handle the Epstein. files and bring closure to the victims, but it's not happening because they. simply don't want to. The reason more. high-profile people in America are not. being held accountable is because Donald. Trump, his DOJ, and practically the. entire Republican Party are not only. choosing not to do anything, but are. impeding anyone else from pursuing. accountability. At every single turn, these people have done whatever possible. to provide cover for anybody involved. On the Epstein files, there she is.
there, um, speaking. Why won't you swear her in? Yeah. I. mean, again, they're becoming experts at. distraction and red herrings. This has. absolutely nothing to do about Epstein. As of tonight, the Department of Justice. is nearly 2 weeks late in releasing the. case files of federal investigations of. Epstein and co-conspirator Ghislaine. Maxwell. Federal law required the. release by December 19th. At the same. time, at least 15 newly released files. disappeared from the DOJ's website. It.
is not clear as to why that happened. Ugh, so frustrating, right? Probably. just a computer error. I mean, we've all. gotten the message, like the current. administration, this file is corrupt and. cannot be opened. And this from the party who branded. themselves as the bastions of family. values. Somehow the king of England can. support his own brother being arrested. and held accountable for his crimes, but. the guy in America who wants to be king. will stop at nothing to make sure his. rich friends stay protected. >> Today, Colorado congresswoman Lauren.
Boebert was the target of an apparent. pressure campaign by Trump to keep the. Epstein files secret. The New York Times. and CNN report that the Trump White. House attempted to convince Boebert, a. strong Republican ally of the president, to take her name off a congressional. action that would force the release of. the Epstein files. Even going so far as. to call her to a meeting in the highly. secure White House situation room with. the FBI director and the attorney. general. Lauren Boebert, who put her. name on the discharge petition to. release the Epstein files, got called up.
to the situation room to meet not just. with the president, but the head of the. FBI. Yet the billionaire Les Wexner, whose name is all over the files, the. billionaire told the committee he has. never been questioned by the FBI. Must. have just been a scheduling issue. There. has never been an easier issue to. advocate for and add your name to than. justice for the victims and survivors of. sexual abuse. And the fact that hundreds. of Republicans in Congress are staying. silent or even worse, trying to prevent. anyone from being held accountable, speaks volumes. This is not a binary.
issue. Silence is complicity. It is a. message to every single victim and voter. that rather than do what is morally. correct, they have chosen to sell their. souls in an effort in Donald Trump's. favor and protect the wealthy Epstein. class. Epstein. Definitely not. >> [music]. >> Before you go, if you enjoyed this. content and you want to see more and. support independent media, please. subscribe to this channel.
