Trump BAILS on Supreme Court argument as his chances PLUMMET

The US Supreme Court heard arguments. today in Trump's birthright citizenship. case, Trump versus Barbara, wherein. Trump's 2025 executive order that seeks. to end automatic citizenship for. children born in the US to undocumented. immigrants and temporary visa holders is. being challenged. The case centers on. the interpretation of the citizenship. clause of the 14th Amendment, which. states that all persons born or. naturalized in the United States and. subject to the jurisdiction thereof are. citizens, which of course Trump takes. issue with. It's always so annoying how. the US Constitution gets in the way of.

Donald Trump's autocratic rule. And so. it should come as no surprise that as. the arguments were being heard, this is. what happened. >> United States Supreme Court hearing. arguments for and against what's called. birthright citizenship. By the way, we're told the president of the United. States, President Trump, has just left. the Supreme Court heading back in his. motorcade to the White House. He was. there when John Sauer, the Solicitor. General, was making his case against. birthright citizenship, but now Cecilia. Wang, the legal director of the American. Civil Liberties Union, the ACLU, is.

making the opposite case against the. Trump administration. Trump has gone. back to the White House, isn't hearing. this part at least not in person. In. other words, he left without even. listening to the full arguments, which. generally only last an hour, which might. have something to do with the fact that. those arguments weren't exactly going. great. For example, here's Trump's. Solicitor General trying and failing to. persuade even the conservative justices. Based on Chinese media reports, there. are 500. 500 birth tourism companies in the.

People's Republic of China whose what. business is to bring people here to give. birth and return to to to that nation. Uh having said all that, you do agree that it that has no impact. on the legal analysis before us? I think. it's I'd quote what Justice Scalia said. in his Hamdi dissent where they had. where like their interpretation has. these implications that could not. possibly have been approved by the 19th. century framers of this amendment. I. think that. shows that they made a mess their.

interpretation has made a mess of the. provision. Well, it certainly wasn't a. problem in the 19th century. No, but of. course we're we're in a new world now as. Justice Alito pointed out to you where 8. billion people are one plane ride away. from having a a child who's a US. citizen. Well, it's a new world, it's. the same Constitution. It is and. as Justice Scalia said I think in the. case that Justice Alito was referring to. you've got a constitutional provision. that addresses certain evils and it. should be extended to reasonably. comparable evils. He said that about. statutory interpretation. I think the.

same principle applies here and I think. we quote that in our brief. A new world. but the same Constitution. Bummer for a. White House that doesn't exactly. appreciate that same old Constitution. Or how about this moment? >> should be bound BY WHAT IT SAYS. THIS is. what we're deciding again on page 75 it. says this is the single question. Now. there's been a lot of discussion up to. that point but at the very end they said. the single question we decided is the. citizenship status of the children of. Chinese immigrants with a a permanent. residence and domicile in the United. States. Do you think Native Americans.

today are birthright citizens under your. test and under your friend's test? Uh I. think so. I mean obviously they've been. granted citizenship by statute. >> the statute. Do you think they're. birthright citizens? No, I think the the. clear understanding that everybody. agrees in the congressional debates is. that the children of tribal Indians are. not birthright citizens. >> that's what they said but your test is. the. domicile of the parents. And that would be the test you'd have to. apply today, right? Yes, yes. So if a tribal Indian for.

example or gives up allegiance to born. today. birthright citizens. Uh I think so on our test, yeah. If. they're lawfully domiciled here. Okay. And then I'm not sure I have to think. that through but but that's my reaction. >> Haha. Are Native Americans birthright citizens. and the answer he gave was I think so, I'll have to think that through.". Native Americans, what are we even doing here? Look, in. Trump's defense, I probably would have.

bailed, too, if I was on that side of. the argument. And bear in mind, this is. a court that has bent over backwards for. Trump. A court that has created. provisions out of whole cloth for Trump, like this idea that the president has. immunity from criminal prosecution. A. court that has ignored provisions of the. Constitution for Trump, like section 3. of the 14th Amendment, which bars. someone from running for federal office. again if they've engaged in or given aid. or comfort to those who've engaged in. insurrection. And even this court was. skeptical of Trump's arguments here, which really speaks volumes about the.

validity of this entire claim. And look, Donald Trump can obviously see. the writing on the wall. So, when all. else fails, you just take to Truth. Social and write, "We are the only. country in the world stupid enough to. allow birthright citizenship." President. Donald J. Trump. See, when all else. fails, you just call it stupid and stomp. your feet like a man-child. If the. solicitor didn't persuade the justices, maybe that'll do the trick. In fact, Donald Trump has already begun. pre-butting the inevitable loss at the. Supreme Court by saying stuff like this.

I don't care how good your case is. You. could have the greatest case ever. They're going to rule against you. They always do. And it's not supposed to be that way. Now, the Republicans tend to. be very different. They want to show how. honorable they are. So, a man can appoint them, and they can. rule against him, and it's so proud of. it. We're so proud we ruled against. Trump. We're so proud. We're above it. There are those that say that's. wonderful. And there are those that say.

they're so stupid. But, the Democrats never fail at one thing. When Barack Hussein Obama, or when Biden. appoints somebody, they go along that. line. You can have the greatest case in. history. And almost I I guess I have to say. almost. Maybe I don't have to say it. Almost without fail, those people, four of them, sometimes five of them,

but four of them will vote against you. You don't have a chance. You don't have. a chance. And that's not what the court system is. Now, the Republican appointees tend to. go And this has been long before me. This has been for many years. Uh. some people would call it stupidity. Some people would call it disloyal. Some. people would say they're right in doing. it. And I don't mind being right, but. the other side almost never does it. Yep. When justices rule against dear. leader, they're being disloyal. Because. as we all remember, they take an oath to.

support the king when they're sworn in, right? So, look, on one hand, I kind of. understand Trump storming out of the. Supreme Court when he realized he was. going to lose. Between that and the fact. that there is a 0% chance he can. understand half of what the attorneys. and justices were saying, I'd imagine it. wasn't exactly the most welcoming. environment for someone who has spent. the last half decade bragging about. passing a dementia test where the. hardest question involved identifying. various farm animals. But on the other. hand, this is what you get when you. decide to dis- defy the US Constitution.
