Trump attempts announcement on stage, FAILS INSTANTLY

This will be. a great and brilliant. day for the world. because Iran has just announced that the. Strait of Hormuz is fully open and ready. for business and full passage. But the naval blockade. with the greatest navy in the world from. the greatest military the world has ever. seen.

we built it during my first term we. built it. They said I was crazy. We weren't so crazy, were we? Will remain in full force and effect as. it pertains to Iran until such time as. our transaction with Iran is 100%. complete and fully signed. And this process we're getting along. well, but who knows? Who knows with. anyone, but who knows with Iran in. particular? This process should go very quickly and.

that most of the points are already. negotiated and agreed to. You'll be very happy. So, hold on. Let me make sure that I'm. understanding correctly here. Trump's. big announcement after at least 13 dead. service members, after over 400 wounded. Americans, after $50 billion plus having. been spent, after gas prices surged. nearly the highest level in US history, is that the Strait of Hormuz, which was. open before the war, will now be open. again? That's the announcement? Trump.

fixes thing he broke? Are our. expectations truly that low that we are. now celebrating Trump spending $50. billion to get back to zero? And let's be real here. Trump isn't. fooling anybody. Megan Kelly said this. President Trump in one of his posts. today called it the Strait of Iran. Which is probably, you know, the the best Freudian slip he's had in. weeks. Yeah, it wasn't really before. It. was an open Strait of Hormuz used by. everybody in the Middle East and beyond.

Now it's the Strait of Iran. Now they've. realized they've got an economic. pressure point they can unleash on us. And we're keeping our ships there now to. make sure that they don't do anything, you know, no funny business while we. wrap this thing up. But if at some point. our destroyers are going to leave. And um we'll see how many times we have. to go through this now with Iran as. things ratchet back up cuz they've. realized that they have a very powerful. tool that hurts us that they never used. or realized before. This is brand new. Uh so now yay, we've we're ending the.

war uh by getting them to open up the. Strait which was open before we even. started the war. Um great. And we're getting them to. promise that they're not going to pursue. a nuclear weapon, which was something. that the now dead Ayatollah had already. issued a fatwa against. Uh and we're getting them to give their. nuclear dust, which President Trump. himself told us was buried several feet. underground as a result of our bombing. of the three nuclear sites, to maybe a. third party. Possibly back to us, that's what we. want. Um he told us we didn't have to.

worry about it because we have eyes on. it via satellite and it's all buried. deep in the ground. But now it's a huge. deal point that they're going to give it. to a third party. They're going to dig. it up and give it to a third party. So. okay, great. Great, terrific. >> Even Ann Coulter's calling out the con, writing quote, "Yay, the Strait that was. open before we began bombing Iran is. open again. Everybody pretend this is a. huge victory for Trump so he'll end this. catastrophe." And that really is the. whole game. Trump doesn't care about. accomplishing anything. He cares about. taking credit for accomplishing. something so that he can wave it around.

like a little participation trophy. >> To begin with, I ended eight wars. And it may be a little early to say. this, but if we add Iran and Lebanon, that will be 10 wars ended and. many, many, millions of lives saved. Think of how many lives we've saved. They wanted to do it, but they said, "Oh, let's get involved." Sometimes you. have to get involved. You have no choice. but to get involved. If you're going to. remain great, sometimes you have to get.

involved. Remember, I'm the peacemaker. I'm the one that settled eight wars. I. settled a war that would have killed 30. to 50 million people, India-Pakistan. That is what it's for. He will literally. start wars for the express purpose of. saying that he ended them and add them. to his little tally. Exhibit 437,000. of Trump taking credit for trying to fix. the thing that he himself broke. The. Trump administration ran on the promise. of no more foreign wars, no more regime. change. And yet, here we are. The United.

States is now at war with Iran in 2026. while Trump is in office. Now, it's not. shocking that this president has broken. yet another promise to the American. people. What is shocking is how quickly. the story is already being spun to. minimize what's happening in order to. defend this administration. Just look at. how the story, Hegseth doesn't rule out. ground troops in Iran, is already being. covered. The Daily Signal, a. right-leaning outlet rated low. factually, emphasizes that this isn't. Iraq and says that the war won't be. endless. Meanwhile, NBC, rated very high.

factually, focuses on the key detail. that Hegseth refused to rule out US. boots on the ground in Iran. Two. completely different realities. We went. from no new wars to potentially invading. He he. does a lot of this stuff so the stock. market will go up, and then some. will go down over the weekend, and then. price will will go back up again, and. the stock market will go down. But uh. what's been your observation on this. whole thing this week? You know, my. observation on the fact that he is now. celebrating the fact that the strait of. strait of. the strait of Iran strait of Hormuz. strait of Hormuz, whatever we want to. call it, is open is that. we have seen at least 13 US service. members die, 400 or so wounded. We've. seen the price of oil surge. We have.

seen at least 50 billion dollars get. spent on this thing all so that we could. be in the exact same situation as we. were in before any of this started. And. so, what do we have to show for all of. these lost lives, all of these wounded. Americans, the fact that 350 million. people here at home are now paying more, uh not just to get everywhere, but to. have their goods come into the United. States because obviously, like, you. know, it it costs money to to transport. goods as well, and and those higher oil. prices are going to have an impact on.

that. What do we have to show for any of. this? Because we're if we're in the same. position as we were before any of this. started, then basically all of that was. for naught. And so, it just seems so it. seems so backwards to to like throw for. Trump to throw himself a parade right. now over the fact that over the fact. that, you know, he got us back to the. position we were in a month ago before. any of this started. Yeah, I mean, the strait was open. I. mean, that's the The strait was open. It. was open before he did all of this. So,

it's sort of like a dog cleans cleans up. its own on the carpet. Is that sort. of what's happening here? It's But, that's what that that is actually what. he does. I mean, he breaks something, is. forced to fix it or or an attempt to fix. it, and then and then throws himself a. parade over the fact that he was able to. fix the thing that he broke in the first. place. And rinse and repeat. That is. That is the story of this of this. presidency. Quote, dog cleans up his own. on the carpet. And of course, it. goes without saying, but no offense to. dogs with the comparison to Trump. But,

here's an even worse phenomenon at play. here. And that is that even Trump's. announcement, as ridiculous as it might. be to celebrate getting us exactly back. to where we were before the war, might. not even be true. A reporter from ABC. News posted, quote, Trump is telling. reporters that Iran has agreed to give. up its nuclear material and work with. the US to retrieve it and ship it to the. US. Iran's foreign ministry spokesperson. is rejecting that. Quote, Iran's. enriched uranium is not going to be. transferred anywhere under any. circumstances. And now, the speaker of. Iran's parliament is also saying that.

Trump lied. Quote, the president of the. United States made seven claims in 1. hour, all seven of which were false. They did not win the war with these. lies, and they will certainly not get. anywhere in negotiations, either. Passage through the Strait of Hormuz. will be conducted based on designated. route and with Iranian authorization. Whether the strait is open or closed and. the regulations governing it will be. determined by the field, not by social. media. With the continuation of the. blockade, the Strait of Hormuz will not. remain open. In other words, the whole. lame basis for Trump's celebration that.

the Strait of Hormuz is now open doesn't. actually seem to be true. So, Trump. congratulates himself for achieving a. goal that had already been achieved. before the war, and even that goal. wasn't achieved. The sad reality is that. this whole thing has been a disaster. since day one. What really happened is. that Trump felt emboldened to play. kingmaker. He did it in Venezuela, found. it pretty easy, and then turned his. sights to Iran. But clearly, it wasn't. as simple as he'd anticipated. But Trump. isn't led by reason, he's led by ego.

And he was already pot-committed here, which means his only job is to double. and triple and quadruple down until he. can declare victory. Here, in this. instance, that means keeping this fool's. errand going regardless of how many. Americans die, regardless of how many. get injured, of how much it spikes the. cost of oil, of how high gas prices. rise, and how much money that could go. to domestic priorities instead get sent. to bomb a new war in the Middle East. Because Trump's sole priority is not. Americans, it's not his own campaign. promises, it is himself and his ego. All.

He thinks about what gets Donald. Trump etched into, you know, Mount. Rushmore or whatever else. And I think.

he has this vision where it's. in his head where it's like, I, you. know, did regime change in Venezuela, I did. regime change in Iran, I did regime. change in Cuba. And the last two he. believes are historically important. because they have been. long-term problems and long-term. adversaries in the United States. And he. didn't think it through. And there's a I. mean, he's not the first person to think. that regime change in Iran is a good. idea. People have been talking about. this, thinking about it, planning it, the possibility of a war with Iran since. 1979. And the reason why I know has done.

it is the consequences are tremendous. because of. the the type of regime that Iran has, how big a country it is, and most. notably the Strait of Hormuz. They have. this leverage point over the rest of the. world that is very hard to unstick. And. so he kind of stumbled ass-backwards. into it. So look, my question here is. pretty simple. What are you willing to. sacrifice to massage one 79-year-old. man's ego? If you voted for Trump, if. you didn't vote for Democrats, is. allegiance to him worth more than $50 to.

bomb a country overseas? Is allegiance. to him worth watching gas prices surge? Is allegiance to him worth watching our. health care and our food assistance get. cut? At some point it has to become. clear that Donald Trump is not keeping. true to his promises and is making. material conditions worse here at home. And Trump is not entitled to your. support forever. He is not your king, he's not your deity, he's not your. family member. He is a public servant. He works for us, not the other way. around. And while he might feel entitled.

to your vote and your underlying. loyalty, that's not what America is. about, nor should it be. And we have the. opportunity just a few short months from. now to remind not just Trump, but the. entire subservient Republican Party, that when you fail to deliver, that when. you get caught lying, you don't get. rewarded, you get punished.
