Trump asked SIMPLE question FOUR TIMES, CAN’T answer
It's been reported that the United. States has taken in 13 billion dollars. from Venezuela. What if you Where is. that money going? >> 13 billion from Venezuela? >> From Venezuela. >> even more than that. No, Venezuela, we paid for that war many times over. And that'll happen with. Iran, also. We paid for the war many. times over. >> But where is that money going in the. >> By the way, no other president can say that for a. long time. Okay? When was the last president that. could say that? So, we had a cost.
of Venezuela. We paid for it many, many. times over. And now, as you know, we. have a very good relationship with. Venezuela. >> But where is that money going? >> Venezuela, running the country. >> No, if you think the last few The money. that the US is taking in, where is that. money going? >> Venezuela? >> Yes. >> But running the country. Uh it can go to the military. The. Congress has to. approve it. Congress isn't like. approving money for the military. They. like uh. giving it to. things that shouldn't be done.
But we're taking in a lot of money, billions and billions of dollars from. Venezuela. That'll happen with Iran, too. >> So, the United States has taken in. billions of dollars that is currently. completely unaccounted for at the US. Treasury, and yet these billions are. being spent running the country of. Venezuela. In other words, it seems that. the President of the United States is. currently serving as a contractor to run. a foreign country at the same time that. he's presiding over this one through. some shadow bookkeeping that no one has. any visibility into except him.
Did I get that right? Also, just a quick. aside, but you got to love how Donald. Trump calls the Venezuela operation a. war, even though it lasted, what, 2. hours? Because he wants to be able to. say that he won a war, but at the same. time, he refuses to call the Iran war, which has been raging for 5 months, a. war, because he's losing. So, that one. is just an incursion or an excursion. See how convenient it is for Trump? Now, this isn't the first time that he's. landed on some arbitrary number and.
pretended that we're taking in money. hand over fist. For example, >> Yeah, we're going to be having meetings. I'm very friendly with many of the. leaders. Some of them are new. We don't know. them, but you know, I've been doing this. for now. sort of a long time. Uh if you count the four years where we. had a rigged election, you know, I was. very much into politics then, too. But I spent the first four years, I. spent four years in. uh little different state. And then uh we had we've had an amazing.
I probably the best year maybe ever had. by an American president. You when you. look at the economy, we have the. greatest economy we've ever had. We have. 19 trillion dollars, 19.2 trillion. dollars to be exact, being invested in. the United States. That's. seven or eight times more than it's ever. had It's It's a world record, not just a. US record. And I just read where, in fact, coming. over, I was just. given I was in the car with those. beautiful horses, those great riders,
those great soldiers, and. uh it came over the wires that Toyota is. moving out of Mexico. into the United States and building one. of the biggest uh truck and car plants. ever built. That's amazing. That's what tariffs do. properly used. And. uh so, we've never had. uh. a more exceptional. economy or potential economy. There's. never been anything like it. >> To which Daniel Dale, CNN's. fact-checker, responded, "For the.
manyeth time, Trump's 19.2. trillion-dollar figure is a lie. New. foreign direct investment in the US to. acquire, create, or expand businesses. was 232 billion dollars in 2025. The. White House's own website claims there. have been 10.6 trillion, not 19.2. trillion, in major investment. announcements this Trump term. And even. that is a wild exaggeration that. includes vague pledges, vague statements. that aren't even pledges, and pledges. about trade between the US and other. countries rather than investment in the.
US. In other words, Trump has a. well-documented proclivity to land on. some big shiny number and pretend that. other countries are heaping funds onto. this one. And of course, when Trump is. pressed on where the money is, he can't. answer because it's not real. So. instead, he gives absurd and vague. non-answers like claiming. >> I'm. running the country. >> But frankly, we don't even have to. conjure up fact-checkers here. Just use. common sense. Does anything in your life.
suggest that our country is too. prosperous? Does anything in your life. suggest that we're rolling in too much. foreign funding? Is your healthcare. cheaper? How about your utility and. electricity bills? Groceries? How about. gas? Because it seems to me that. everything is more expensive and that. life is even more unaffordable. So if. we're taking in trillions and trillions. and trillions of dollars, more money. than we know what to do with, from every. corner of the globe, why don't we have. anything to show for it? First of all,
it's all obviously a lie, but even if we. granted Trump this absurd idea that. we're raking in trillions of dollars in. cash, then isn't it even worse that. we've got nothing to show for it? Where's that money going? Who's hoarding. all of it to the point that there is not. one material difference in our domestic. economic situation, and yet someone. apparently is taking in trillions. Any. reporters want to ask Trump those. questions? And don't take my word for it, by the. way. Just listen to the voters. >> If he does tank the economy, how do.
voters feel about his performance on. that subject? >> Yeah, promises made, promises broken in. the minds of the American public. Because just take a look here. The. reason he won back in 2024 was because. the plurality of voters thought that. Trump would make them financially better. off 44% 38% said they make them worse. off back in October of 2024. Look at. these numbers now. Oh my goodness. John. shaking his head off on the side. Now. 58%.
nearly three in five voters say that. Trump is making them financially worse. off. That's up like a rocket. The better. off down to the floor in a Lake. Michigan. Look at that from 44% to just. 13%. now saying better off. The rest say. about the same. These are absolutely. devastating numbers. The issue that got. Trump reelected now the voters. absolutely turn against. >> They're saying they are he's making them. worse off.
>> Correct. >> Again, one would think that if we're. making trillions at the hands of other. countries, Trump, the deal maker. extraordinaire, might be able to, oh, I. don't know, use some of that money to. improve any material condition in this. country. And yet he won't. Because if it. doesn't benefit him personally, he. refuses to lift a finger. That is why he. focuses on his ballroom, his arch, his. reflecting pool, getting his name and. face on currency and coins and Trump RX. This presidency is not about how he can.
help Americans, it's about how Americans. can help him. And just as disqualifying, by the way, the Republicans let him get away with. all of it. Remember, Republican senators. and lawmakers are in a coequal branch of. government. They have autonomy to step. in to help their own constituents, to. demand that something, anything, improve. To make good on their own. campaign promises, Trump's campaign. promises. No Democrats in the majority. anywhere to gum up the works. This is. unbridled, unapologetic Republican. governance. And yet instead of.
exercising that power, they have. contracted every ounce of their power to. the executive branch as Donald Trump. pilfers the government to help himself. They wouldn't even prevent him from. suing his own IRS for 10 billion. dollars. To them, that is 100% acceptable. But. God forbid we have health care. God. forbid we can afford food. God forbid. housing was cheaper. If there was any. doubt about who this government serves, you don't even have to believe me. Just. believe your own wallets.
>> [music]. >> Before you go, one quick request. It's. become clear to me that this White House. is dead set on preventing me from. reaching any audience. Trump's decision. to put me as the first name on his. enemies list is a testament to that. But. it didn't quiet down then, and I won't. do it now.
