Republicans EXPLODE amid UPDATE over Trump & female aide
The Republican Party seems to have found. their faux outrage issue of the day. So, to set the stage, take a few seconds and. watch the comment that sent this. fainting spell parade off in the. beginning. >> While he fruitlessly drains our. munitions and oil reserves, the. president sleeps through his meetings. He golfs and trades stocks. See, he doesn't want to do the job. He wants to build his ballroom and. travel with Natalie on their apparently.
defenseless flying palace gifted by the. Emir of Qatar. >> [cheering]. >> So, the quote that Ossoff made is, "The. president sleeps through his meetings. He golfs and trades stocks. So, he. doesn't want to do the job. He wants to. build his ballroom and travel with. Natalie on their apparently defenseless. flying palace gifted by the Emir of. Qatar." The quote is intended to send. one message, that Donald Trump is. focused on himself and his loyalists and. his projects, not the American people. And nothing in that quote is untrue or.
unfair. Natalie Harp, his aide, is with. him constantly. And as far as the. implications that there is some. relationship of some sort between the. two people, I'm going to rely solely on. the facts here. So, as far as Natalie. Harp is concerned, here is her. correspondence with Trump according to. an excerpt from the New York Times. Quote, "You are all that matters to me,". she wrote in one of her letters, which. were seen by the New York Times. The. letter's authenticity was confirmed by. two people with direct knowledge of. them. Quote, "I don't ever want to let. you down," Ms. Harp wrote, thanking Mr. Trump for being her quote, "guardian and.
protector in this life." In another. letter, she told Mr. Trump she wanted to. go back to quote, "that synergy she used. to have with him," where quote, "we'd. talk about everything and nothing.". Quote, "I want to bring you joy," she. wrote, "to feel like we can get through. a day without ever having to talk work.". I also think it's worth noting Trump's. background when it comes to women. He's. been credibly accused of sexual assault. or harassment by more than two dozen. women. He was just found liable of. sexual abuse and defamation against E. Jean Carroll, for which he was just. ordered to pay $5 million.
and then another $83 million. He's been caught on camera bragging that. he could grab women by the and. there's nothing they could do about it. And of course, he spent his entire term. suppressing the Epstein files, which he. continues to do to this day. So, this is. not somebody who has shown a modicum of. respect for women or girls, ever. So, even if the implication was that. something untoward was taking place. between Trump and Harp, let's not. pretend that Donald Trump is somehow. above that kind of behavior. With all of that said, there is of.
course no evidence that there's some. romantic relationship between the two, nor did Ossoff say that there was. And. if there was an implication, both the. bizarre, borderline obsessive notes that. are now public from Natalie Harp, along. with Trump's own character over the. course of years, plays into that. interpretation a hell of a lot more than. anything that Ossoff said. But of. course, none of that matters to the. right because they will jump at any. opportunity to wage a culture war. Frankly, anything to distract from the. dismal outcomes of full GOP control of.
government. So, Newt Gingrich wrote, quote, "Jon Ossoff owes Natalie Harp a. personal apology for having smeared her. If a conservative Republican had. attacked a liberal Democrat working. professional woman the way Ossoff. smeared Natalie Harp, there would be. cries to kick them off the ticket and. reject this kind of misogynistic. language, diminishing and smearing. someone who is simply doing their job.". Steven Cheung wrote, "John Jackoff has. to be the biggest cuck loser in. politics. Instead of denigrating. hardworking people serving their. country, John should look deep into his. soul and ask himself why he's a.
miserable person who hates this country. It's because he's a radical extremist. Democrat." Megyn Kelly wrote, "Ossoff. was clearly implying that Trump is. having an affair with his staffer. He. was so determined to disparage Trump, he. didn't give one thought, or worse, he. did, to how this would affect Natalie. Forever, don't let the Democrats tell. you they are for women, it's a lie." And. Piers Morgan wrote, "The Ossoff smearing. of President Trump's aide Natalie Harp, was repellent. Scott Jennings wrote, "This is quite a message for the. Democratic Party to send to young women. working in politics. Party of women? Pretty ugly stuff." First of all, no one.
smeared Natalie Harp. Again, here's. what's happening. The right is talking. about this. They're all reacting to. everybody else reacting to it. So, they're hearing coverage of coverage of. coverage, which inherently becomes more. and more and more sensational. They're. not reacting to Ossoff's words, which. are extremely banal. They're reacting to. Jesse Watters' coverage of Newt. Gingrich's coverage of Megyn Kelly's. coverage. So, by that point, you'd think. Ossoff said that Natalie Harp is trying. to sleep her way to the top. Again, all.
Ossoff said was that Donald Trump, quote, "doesn't want to do the job. He. wants to build his ballroom and travel. with Natalie on their apparently. defenseless flying gift palace gifted by. the emir of Qatar." End quote. But, it's. not about what's real. It's about. feigning outrage. Although, I got to. say, this is quite the interesting topic. to pretend to be outraged about when. this is the guy that all of these people. support. >> Okay. >> Mr. President,
what's the difference of seeing being in. those emails where you said you knew. about the girls? >> I know nothing about that. It would have. been out a long time ago. It's really what did he mean when he. spent all the time with Bill Clinton. with the president of Harvard, you know, that is Summers, uh Larry Summers, whatever his name is, and. all of the other people they spent time. with. Jeffrey Epstein and I had a very bad. relationship for many years. But, he also saw us because. I was president. So, he dictated a.
couple of memos to him. So, give me a. break. You're going to find out what did he. know with respect to Bill Clinton, with respect to the head of Harvard, with respect to all of those people that. he never wanted JP Morgan Chase. >> So, you're saying there's nothing. incriminating in the five sets. >> Quiet. Quiet. Quiet. >> But hey, thank God all these champions. for women are out here showing up. Thank. God they finally found their calling. after they've stripped women's. reproductive rights away, after they. overturned Roe, after they opposed.
public funding for IVF, after they said. nothing for years amid attacks on. Michelle Obama and Obama's girls and. said Kamala slept her way to the top and. attacked Jill Biden for using the. moniker of doctor even though she has a. PhD. I mean, hell, Trump's entrance into. politics was saying stuff like this. >> She she gets out and she starts asking. me all sorts of ridiculous questions and. you know, you could see there was blood. coming out of her eyes, uh blood coming out of her whatever, but.
she was uh in my opinion, she was uh. off base. >> And yet, we've got Megan Kelly herself. out here defending that guy while. pretending that the Democrats are bad. for women. It's all very rich, but it's. a testament to the different sets of. rules that the parties play by. Republicans win elections and can brag. all they want that they can call people. retards again, but Democrats Democrats. have to be perfect. They have to be the. same degree of politically correct that. the Republicans simultaneously decry.
And look, going back to the issue at the. heart of all of this, Republicans. wouldn't have to make a meal out of this. lame culture war story if they could. defend their records, but they can't. They've got full control of. government and yet have nothing to show. for it. So when Jon Ossoff says that. Trump doesn't care about regular people, he's solely focused on himself, his. loyalists, and his vanity projects, he's. right. That's why Trump won't lift a. finger to deal with health care, with. jobs, with wages, with food, with cost, with inflation, or with bringing.
pedophiles to justice. If he wanted to. fix those things, he would. After all, he's getting his vanity projects done, so it's not a matter of ability, it's a. a of will. And when it comes to lifting. a finger to help regular people, he. simply doesn't have the desire. And. Republicans know that. For them, this is a distraction that. they're desperate for so that they don't. have to acknowledge their own failure to. govern. >> [music]. >> Before you go, one quick request. It's. become clear to me that this White House.
is dead set on preventing me from. reaching any audience. Trump's decision. to put me as the first name on his. enemies list is a testament to that. But. it didn't quiet down then, and I won't. do it now.
