Republicans ABANDON Trump after BOMBSHELL threat against Iranian civilization
Some really serious news here as Trump. has escalated his rhetoric regarding. Iran, now threatening nuclear. annihilation. He took to Truth Social. writing, "A whole civilization will die. tonight, never to be brought back again. I don't want that to happen, but it. probably will. However, now that we have. complete and total regime change where. different, smarter, and less radicalized. minds prevail, maybe something. revolutionarily wonderful can happen. Who knows? We will find out tonight, one. of the most important moments in the. long and complex history of the world. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and. death will finally end. God bless the.
great people of Iran." In other words, Trump is expressly threatening to. overtly eradicate the entire Iranian. population. To say that Donald Trump is. a genocidal maniac would be an. understatement. He seems not just. willing, but hell-bent on dragging the. United States and the rest of the world. into war, which is quite the. accomplishment for a president who. campaigned expressly on no new wars. And. what Trump's threatening is not only a. moral atrocity, it's a war crime. A. point that Ted Lieu brought up when he. said, quote, "Dear the Joint Staff, the. UCMJ and federal law prohibits war.
crimes. Obviously, eradicating a whole. civilization constitutes a war crime. You must disobey that order. If you. commit war crimes, the next. administration will prosecute you." In. fact, his moves here are so egregious. that he's fast losing the support of. even his most vocal supporters. Here's. Tucker Carlson. >> If you work in the White House or in the. US military, now it's time to say no, absolutely not, and say it directly to. the president, "No. In case you're thinking about using some. weapon of mass destruction against the. population of Iran, in whose name we.
liberated Iran, we killed their. religious leader for their benefit. Do. you remember that? This was last month. Those people. who are in direct contact with the. president need to say, "No. I'll resign. I'll do whatever I can do legally to. stop this because this is insane. And if. given the order, I'm not carrying it. out. Figure out the codes on the football. yourself.". Here's Alex Jones. How do we 25th. Amendment his ass? The problem is to get the 25th Amendment. is harder than impeachment. You have to.
get 2/3 of the house and 2/3 of the. >> So what do we do? Uh tackle Trump and and pretend let him. pretend he's president and publicly. report that he's going through a health. issue and Vance take over. It literally. needs to be something like that. It's. that bad. Marjorie Taylor Green tweeted. 25th Amendment. Not a single bomb has. dropped on America. We cannot kill an. entire civilization. This is evil and. madness. Can this Owen tweeted the 25th. Amendment needs to be invoked. He is a. genocidal lunatic. Our Congress and. military need to intervene. We are.
beyond madness. Former director of the. National Counterterrorism Center Joe. Kent tweeted Trump believes he is. threatening Iran with destruction, but. it is America that now stands in danger. If he attempts to eradicate Iranian. civilization, the United States will no. longer be viewed as a stabilizing force. in the world, but as an agent of chaos, effectively ending our status as the. world's greatest superpower. This would. upend our economy and shatter the global. order. The process is already underway. Yet we still have time to avert. catastrophe if Trump finds the courage. to pursue serious negotiations rather. than reckless rage and destruction.
This is not to validate the worst people. on the right, but rather just to point. out that when Donald Trump has lost. everyone from Democrats and independents. to the Alex Joneses of the world, then. it is clear that he has lost the plot. Which raises the question, why do this? Why as a self-proclaimed anti-war. president would you bring the world to. the brink of war? And the answer in my. opinion is that this is Donald Trump. padding his legacy. He wants to be. remembered for upending the world, for. putting his mark on it for all of.
history to remember. And frankly, he's. playing with house money. It's not his. kids that are getting sent overseas, it's the rest of America's. It's not his. money that's paying for bombs, it's our. tax dollars. He's got no skin in the. game. There's no downside. He gets to. pad his legacy and it cost him nothing. to do so. Best case scenario, he gets to. defeat Iran and take all the credit, and. worst case, he ushers in World War III, and guess what? He'll never take the. blame. Again, zero downside. So, of. course he's going to barrel ahead.
because he's got nothing to lose, and. his sole priority is cementing his. legacy. That is why his focus is not on. feeding Americans, it's on building. himself a ballroom. That's why his focus. is not on making sure that we have. health care, it's on building an arch. with his name on it. That's why his. focus is not on lowering costs, it's on. slapping his name on the Kennedy Center. Trump doesn't care about us, he cares. about himself, about his enduring. legacy. He cares about monuments, not. people, and he's putting that on full. display right now. He just announced his.
intention to kill 93 million people. because his ego won't allow him to lose. a war that he unilaterally plunged us. into thinking he could easily win it. His ego is apparently worth more than 93. million Iranians' lives. If that's not a. case to invoke the 25th Amendment, for. sake, I don't know what is. And. yet, whether these cowards in his. cabinet will lift a finger against him, highly unlikely. Whether Republicans in Congress will. impeach him, highly unlikely. As I write. in my upcoming book The Day After,
quote, "Don't get it twisted. Donald. Trump could not dismantle democracy on. his own. He needs the obedience of an. almost entirely spineless Congress to. rip up the Constitution, and its members. have happily obliged, no matter how much. humiliation he heaps upon them." The. founders of our democratic republic made. it crystal clear where power should. reside. They did not start the. Constitution with the presidency. Article 1, Section 1 is about Congress, stating specifically and clearly that. all legislative powers rest in the. Senate and House. Section 8 defines. those powers more clearly: to lay and.
collect taxes, duties, imposts, and. excises, to regulate commerce with. foreign nations, to establish a uniform. rule of naturalization, to promote the. progress of science and useful arts, to. define and punish piracies and felonies. committed on the high seas, to declare. war. You get the picture. The power to. set the federal budget, the power to. impose tariffs, the power to decide who. should be a citizen, the power to. abolish organizations supporting science. and the arts, the power to blow up ships. off the coast of Venezuela, the power to. bomb Iran. None of these powers rest. with the presidency or Donald Trump. unless Congress has decided to contract.
every ounce of its autonomy to another. co-equal branch of government. This was. not a scenario the founders imagined as. they strongly believed that human nature. would never willfully surrender power. I. guess they weren't quite capable of. grasping the servility of Mike Johnson. Now, if you'd like to pre-order this. book, The Day After, I'm going to put. the link on this screen and also in the. post description. It is the best way to. support my work and I'd really, really. appreciate it. Again, that book is The. Day After. Thank you for pre-ordering. But the point is that this doesn't have. to happen. Donald Trump's lunacy is the.
result of a collective effort by today's. GOP to heap total power into his lap. Meaning Trump is not the only one. responsible for this insanity. The rest. of his party is, too. These people. shouldn't be within 100 miles of the. levers of power. Something to remember. as we head to the polls just a few. months from now.
Before you go, I'm very excited to. announce that I've written a new book. titled The Day After: How to Wield Power. in a Post-Trump World. The book explores. what is, in my opinion, the single most.
important theme that we're dealing with. in politics today and moving forward, power. Specifically how Republicans. abuse it and how Democrats refuse to. wield it. This book explains how we got. here and more importantly, how we should. finally wield power if we're lucky. enough to get it back. It is the. blueprint for progressives who want to. do far more than just restore the status. quo. Please pre-order today by following. the link on this screen. You can grab. yours from any of the major retailers. like Amazon and Barnes & Noble, or. scroll down on the page and get a copy. from an independent bookstore closest to. you. Thanks so much for supporting.
independent media.
