Pam Bondi HUMILIATED by REPUBLICAN JUDGE in court

This is Democracy Watch. Mark, we have a. major blunder by the DOJ. Surprise, surprise. Can you explain what just. happened in court? Yeah. So, the. Department of Justice just saw its. lawsuit against the state of Georgia to. access that state's complete unredacted. voter file with all of your sensitive. voter information on millions of. Georgians get thrown out of court by a. federal judge who was clearly. exasperated because they had filed it in. the wrong court. They filed it in the.

middle district of Georgia in Mon rather. than the northern district of Georgia, Atlanta. Now, this may be sheer. incompetence. It may be that the Department of Justice. was trying to game the system by saying, "We don't want to be before a judge in. Atlanta. We'd rather be before a judge. in Mon." But, you know, if you're a. lawyer, you have to play at least a. little bit by the rules, right? Like I.

mean we saw this with Lindseay Heligan. in Virginia and the offices of the. Secretary of State are in Atlanta and so. you have to file a lawsuit there. And to. make matters even worse and more bizarre. is the judge had sort of signaled to the. to the government when they filed their. lawsuit, hey I think you may have wanted. to file this in Atlanta, not in Mon. And. instead the Department of Justice.

lawyers filed briefs to say, "No, no, no. We were allowed to file it in Mon.". Well, the judge in Mon said, "Absolutely. not." And by the way, this is a judge. appointed by George Bush. This is a. Republican judge who is clearly. exasperated about what the are you. doing filing this lawsuit here? So, I. want to I want to dig into what I think. is is the most um uh chilling part of. all of this, and that is the prospect. that the Trump administration is trying.

to get access to everybody's uh personal. uh information through the voter file. So, can you explain what a little bit of. what that means? Because I know I know. that people are going to be watching. this and think like. how much of my information will they. get? What can they do with that. information? So, can you shed some light. on that? >> Yeah. So, let's just take Georgia for. example. Okay. This is and and every. state has a a master database called the. voter file. And uh what it means is that. it would say uh where where you uh where. you lived when you registered to vote,

if you moved, where you moved, uh what. your full name is, what your social. security number is, what your date of. birth is in Georgia. It would also. include your racial comp, you know, what. your race is. Uh it would uh include. whether you were registered as a. Democrat or Republican, whether you ever. changed party registration, whether you. voted in the Democratic primary or. Republican primary for every different. office. Uh whether you skipped. elections, whether you voted by mail or. in person. In Georgia, they have early. voting. Whether you voted early, uh. whether you voted uh at a precinct or.

voted by mail, uh whether you voted from. overseas, whether your ballot has ever. been challenged and what the resolution. was, whether you've ever voted uh. provisionally, and what the resolution. is in Georgia, you know, we've talked a. lot about the scourge of voter. challenges, third party groups. challenging voters uh as ineligible uh. to be registered and vote. It would have. that information. what what was your. registration challenged? What was the. grounds of it? And and what was the. resolution there? Those are, by the way, just a few of the things on this file. I.

mean, it is a ton of information. And. the Department of Justice wants to. collect this information in all 50. states, which would give it a master. database of all of the sensitive voting. information, including social security. number, uh, information, date of birth. Uh, so you have to worry about that. But. also all of this other information that. would allow it if it wanted to engage in. mass voter suppression or. disenfranchisement or to throw out. lawful ballots after the election as. part of certification. It would give.

them a granular view of whose ballot. they should challenge, whose ballot they. want to throw out, who they might be. able to intimidate. It would also, by. the way, say who lives with who, right? Because you'd have the same address. information. Uh uh so very very powerful. uh information. The Department of. Justice is seeking this in all 50. states. Uh they have uh sued 23 states. plus the District of Columbia because. they have refused to turn it over. My. law firm uh is involved in defending. voters in all 24 of those jurisdictions.

The 23 states plus the District of. Columbia because we are trying to. prevent this from taking place. About 10. states uh controlled by Republicans have. turned that information over already. Uh. but Brian, going back to this situation. in Georgia, you know, I said it is very. curious about why they filed it in Mon. Maybe you say that's incompetence. Then there's the question of why they. insisted on keeping it in Mon after the.

judge had indicated, look, this case. looks like it was filed the wrong way, the wrong place. And because they had. one more fact, Brian, their argument as. to why it was properly filed in Mon is. because the information could be. accessed in Mon. Well, as the judge. pointed out, the internet is everywhere, >> right? >> Under that theory, an election official. in Georgia could access that information. in another state, >> right? Why not just bring it in Idaho at that. point? >> Correct. Precisely. So something's going.

on here where the Department of Justice. having lost the first two of these cases. already before this in California, which. you know is like 30 what 38 million. voters, right? The judge there and you. and I did a video on this and if you're. not subscribed to this channel, you need. to be subscribed to this channel because. you would have learned about about this. these ongoing challenges in videos Brian. and I have done and hit the bell to make. sure you get you get alerts when there. new there's new content. But they. already lost in in California in an. absolute scathing opinion where the. judge there just threw the book at them.

and said, "Not only am I dismissing the. case, you're violating the Constitution. You're violating what this country is. about and I'm not going to allow you to. refile." They've lost in in Oregon. We're waiting for a written decision. there. The judge has indicated that. that's where he's going. And I just. wonder if this Georgia case is. incompetence alone or incompetence plus, hey, maybe we don't want to have to. bring these cases before judges in. states like Oregon or California. Maybe. this internet theory would give us venue.

elsewhere. Well, this judge in Georgia. was having none of it. And I'm sure no. other judge would buy it either. So, I. want to say one thing first, and that is. that I I know that folks who are. watching this right now are going to be. rightfully worried about the prospect of. all of their sensitive information going. to a federal government that is. perfectly content to weaponize that. information against them. So, that. underscores the importance of the work. that Mark and his team are doing in. court to prevent this from happening. As. he mentioned, 24 different jurisdictions. uh filing lawsuits in 24 different.

jurisdictions to prevent the transfer of. your data from the states to the federal. government. ICE official says that you are a. domestic terrorist and you will now be. entered into a database. That's his. words, a database. And so like look, I. don't work on the Trump administration. They don't share their inner inner plans. with me. But I do wonder, you know, if.

if in fact they are trying to get access. on every American who's ever voted or. registered and all of this sensitive. information and then we learn that they. are tracking individual American. citizens because those American citizens. are expressing opinions, opinions or. engage in free speech activities that. the government doesn't like. and they're. saying there's a database of that. I. mean, it's not that far a stretch to.

say, well, if you want to know when they. want to when they want to misuse the. voting data to disenfranchise Americans, when they want to misuse the voting data. to figure out whose ballots they don't. want to count, that maybe those two. databases have something to say to one. another, >> right? information that the federal government. has never had access to before? >> So, mostly they're just saying, look, we're the Department of Justice. We're. entitled to it. Like, mostly it is kind. of a like we are we we are the. Department of Justice. How dare you not. give it to us? They would say they're. going to use it to screen for illegal uh. uh uh uh illegal um voters, particular. uh non-citizens who may be registered to. vote. But, you know, I want to call your. attention and let me put up on the. screen here a headline from an article.

that Democracy Docket just uh put up uh. uh today. Let me put up on the screen um. an article that Democracy Docket just uh. just posted. So, you can just see the. headline there. Utah reviewed its voter. roles for non-citizens. It found one who. never voted. This is the thing. Like. Utah made a big deal that they were. going to go through all of their voter. roles and they were going to find all of. the non US citizens and they found one. person who is not a US citizen and it. turns out that person never voted. So,

you know, I I I point you to that. headline and that article because it is. preposterous to think that the United. States Department of Justice is spending. all of this money to find the. non-existent US cit citizens who are on. the rolls. Like, that's what their. rationale will be. That's what Utah's. rationale was. Utah now looks like a. bunch of idiots. And I assume the. taxpayers of Utah want to know how much. it damn costs for the state of Utah to. do this. But, but you know, that's what. their rationale is, Brian. Well, I also.

find find this curious that they have. all of the resources to go through and. look at the voter roles of every single. voter in the United States of America. You know, 150 million people and yet no. resources to actually uh release the. Epstein files, of which less than 1%. have actually been released thus far, despite the fact that the Epstein File. Transparency Act was signed into law. more than a month ago. >> Yeah. And we keep being told there are. an ever increasing number of lawyers. reviewing these files, right? Like Pam.

Bondi told us uh a year ago on February. 27th, she sent a letter saying, "I want. all of the files delivered immediately.". And uh you know that they did they put. out in the press what a big review they. they they did then. Then uh on July, I. think it was July 7th of last summer, uh. they said they went through, I think, 300 gigabytes of of records and videos. and files and written files and and they. had FBI agents and lawyers reviewing all. of those. Remember that's the that we.

know about that because they put out the. release saying having gone through every. scrap of paper in every video. It turns. out no man other than Jeffrey Epstein. was implicated in anything and therefore. people should just forget about the. Epstein files. And now we're we were. told, you know, on on December 23rd. that, you know, they needed just a. couple more weeks. They just needed a. couple more weeks to get through the. last of the Epstein files. Well, by the. time you get to January 2nd, the. Department of Justice is saying, "Oh, wait. Actually, we've only reviewed 610.

of 1% of all the Epstein files." And and. and like here we are, Brian. We haven't. seen a single document since. NOT ONE, NOT ONE PAGE, NOTHING. >> RIGHT. But these people not all the. while continue to have the audacity to. claim that they need access to more. information to our voter file. information from every single state. across the country. They have plenty of. resources to go through that because. that might help them, you know, rig some. election in the future or or uh seek.

revenge against, you know, somebody in. America for committing the crime of. voting for Democrats. They have all the. resources in the world for that, but. none to actually follow the laws that. might actually show their involvement in. uh in the most notorious pedophile ring. in American history. So, surprise, surprise. With that said, Mark and I of. course will stay on top of all of this.
