OMG: Trump uses dead Americans in DISGUSTING new scheme
I know that nothing should surprise us. about Donald Trump anymore, but every. once in a while he makes a move that. reminds us that there is no floor. So, some background here. On March 1st, six. American soldiers were killed in an. Iranian drone strike. They were brought. home in flag-draped transfer cases at. Dover Air Force Base last Saturday. Within days of that ceremony, Donald. Trump's PAC sent out a fundraising email. using the official White House. photograph taken at that dignified. transfer. Trump saluting flag-draped. transfer case visible in the background. To pitch what it calls a national.
security briefing membership. Here's the. actual language from the email. "I'm the. strong commander who stares down. tyrants, obliterates terrorists, and. never backs down. This is for patriots. ready to stand with that kind of. unbreakable strength, not for the weak. or the wavering." "Not for the weak or. the wavering." Written in a fundraising. email using a photograph of dead. American soldiers as a marketing image. to sell memberships for donations to his. PAC. In fact, that wasn't even the only. part of this whole subject where Donald.
Trump tried to profit. Take a look at. the footage from the actual dignified. transfer ceremony, particularly what. Trump is wearing on his head. >> will be completely silent. There is no. recording, no audio recording. accompanying this video. Uh that that's. why it seems a little still. No audio recording, just the video.
The president of the United States. showed up to honor fallen service. members wearing a baseball hat. The. thing that the whole country, even. 9-year-old kids, know to remove even. during the Star-Spangled Banner at a. Little League baseball game. But Donald. Trump, commander-in-chief, felt that it. was more important to wear campaign. merch than to show a modicum of respect. because lest you forget no opportunity.
is too solemn to hawk some apparel and. make a few bucks in the process. Trump really did find a way to exploit. every single part of the death of these. American soldiers to benefit himself. financially. Wear campaign merch. available on his website at the. dignified transfer, then fundraise off. the photographs. What's next? Auction. off the dirt from their graves to go to. his pack? Now, I wish I could tell you. that this was out of character, but this. is exactly who Donald Trump has always. been when it comes to the military. In. 2015, he stood on a stage and said of.
John McCain, a man who spent years being. tortured in a Vietnamese prison camp, he's not a war hero. He was a war hero. because he was captured. I like people. who weren't captured. And then he. reportedly told people afterwards that. he didn't regret it. According to. reporting in the Atlantic, later. confirmed by Trump's own former chief of. staff John Kelly, Trump, during a 2018. trip to France, refused to visit the Ain. Marne American Cemetery, reportedly. calling it filled with losers and. referring to the 1,800 Marines killed at. Belleau Wood as suckers. Trump denied.
those specific comments, but Kelly. confirmed on the record that Trump, quote, did not want to be seen in the. presence of military amputees because it. doesn't look good for me. Trump also. reportedly downplayed the traumatic. brain injuries, the TBIs, suffered by. more than 100 soldiers from a 2020. Iranian missile strike, calling those. injuries headaches, earning an official. rebuke from the Veterans of Foreign. Wars. But hey, he's a patriot because. don't forget he hugs the flag. Got it. But here's what makes all of this even. more infuriating. These soldiers didn't.
die in a war that just happened to. America. They died in a war that Donald. Trump specifically and explicitly. promised to prevent and yet that he. dragged us into. Remember, here's what. Trump said on the campaign trail. I'm. not going to start a war. I'm going to. stop wars. No more wars. No more disruptions. We. will have prosperity and we will have. peace. Under Trump, we will have no more. wars, no more disruptions, and we will. have prosperity and peace for all. I am. the candidate of peace. I am peace. And.
it wasn't just Trump. He filled his. entire White House with people who. parroted that line. Here's Tulsi Gabbard. in 2019. Let's deal with the situation. where we are, where this president and. his chickenhawk cabinet have led us to. the brink of war with Iran. I served in. the war in Iraq at the height of the war. in 2005, a war that took over 4,000 of. my brothers and sisters in uniforms'. lives. The American people need to understand.
that this war with Iran would be far. more devastating, far more costly than. anything that we ever saw in Iraq. It. would take many more lives, it would. exacerbate the refugee crisis, and it. wouldn't be just contained within Iran. This would turn into a regional war war. This is why it's so important that every. one of us, every single American stand. up and say, "No war with Iran." the high. human cost of war. You know, these wars. across the Middle East in Iraq, uh. thousands of my brothers and sisters in.
uniform lost their lives, many more. injured. And I also know the cost on the. American people. You know, the trillions. of dollars that we've spent since 9/11. alone on waging these wasteful regime. change wars, how those wars have. undermined our national security, and. how they have strengthened terrorist. groups like ISIS and Al-Qaeda. So, when. we talk about a potential war with Iran, which is looking like we are walking. very dangerously down that path, uh what.
I think is important for the American. people to know is that a war with Iran. would make the war in Iraq look like a. cakewalk. The devas- the devastation and. the cost would be far greater than. anything we've ever experienced before. Here's J.D. Vance. My honest guidance to. those young men, and I think their. concerns are very legitimate. But if. you're worried about the world spinning. out of control, if you're worried about. a military draft, if you're worried. about God forbid a world war, the best. way to prevent it is to vote for Donald. Trump. And I I really believe that. Here's Pete.
Hegseth last May. These globalist ideas. that you're going to you're going to. change an entire society through. military intervention, which you saw us. attempting I lived it in Iraq and. Afghanistan, and then you see the. consequences. We've seen that movie. before, we're not doing it again. >> Yeah, real bummer that none of those. people have any power now, huh? And yet, here we are in a brand new war. at the hands of people who vowed never. to do this. And you've got the literal. commander-in-chief using the soldiers. that his war killed to raise money for.
himself. This is fake patriotism in its. most grotesque form. A man who faked a. medical condition to dodge Vietnam, who. mocked prisoners of war, who didn't want. to stand next to amputees, now wrapping. himself in the sacrifice of dead. American soldiers to squeeze out. donations for himself. The families of. these six heroes deserve a president who. knows the difference between honoring. the military and exploiting it. Donald. Trump has never been that president. And. just for posterity, it's not like we. don't have precedent to compare this to.
A few decades ago, uh a now famous news. package aired on CBS about Barack Obama. Meanwhile, as most Americans were. sleeping, an extraordinary moment in. history was playing out in the dark of. night. With no fanfare, telling only a small. group of reporters, President Obama left. the White House just before midnight and. boarded Marine One. After a 40-minute flight, he landed at. Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.
A C-17 transport plane had just arrived. there bearing the remains of 18. Americans killed this week in. Afghanistan. After meeting privately with their. families, the president and other. dignitaries boarded the plane to welcome. the fallen heroes home and join a. chaplain in a brief prayer. Then the president and his group left. the plane and stood at attention. saluting as the flag-draped transfer. cases were removed. The solemnity of the.
moment clearly visible on the face of. the commander in chief. This is the first time a president has. participated in what is officially. called a dignified transfer since the. wars in Iraq and Afghanistan began. President George W. Bush said he. preferred to meet with grieving families. in private. Media coverage of returning remains was. banned during his father's. administration after some networks.
showed a split-screen image of President. George H.W. Bush bantering with. reporters as the bodies of US soldiers. killed in Panama were arriving home. Caskets were a familiar scene on TV news. during Vietnam bringing into American. living rooms the true cost of war. This year under President Obama, the ban. was lifted but the family of the fallen. must approve. The parents of 29-year-old Army Sergeant.
Dale Griffin of Terre Haute, Indiana. gave their permission for us to see his. return today. Five hours after he left the White House. and still long before sunrise, the. president returned. He later reflected on the experience. saying it was a sobering reminder of the. sacrifices of America's men and women in. uniform. burden that. both our troops and our families bear. in any wartime situation is going to.
bear on how I. see these conflicts. It is something. that I think about each and every day. As he decides whether to send thousands. more troops off to war. We are capable. of having leaders with something of a. moral compass, but not one coming out of. today's Republican Party. >> [music]. >> Before you go, if you enjoyed this. content and you want to see more and. support independent media, please. subscribe to this channel. But second, the reality is that we are. now in a political environment where. this administration can lean on any of. the social media platforms to suppress. certain voices if they don't like. critical coverage. That means my. longevity here is in the hands of a few. tech billionaires who are already making. it clear that they are willing to cater. to this administration.
