OMG: Trump makes SHOCKING claim during public ceremony

I said, "Don't worry about it. We'll be. all finished up in a few months.". But now for the reason that we gathered. this morning to recognize the. unsurpassed courage of. three really incredible American heroes, one living. and two no longer with us. This is a.

Medal of Honor ceremony. And before he. got to the Medal of Honor recipients, he. spent his time talking about his. ballroom. Put another way, the Medal of. Honor recipients had to wait while Trump. was on talking about the drapes before. they could be honored for their. sacrifice because something something. patriotism rah rah USA. And this is a. perfect microcosm for how Donald Trump. operates because as of today, six. Americans have died in Iran in a war. that was approved not by Congress, but.

by Trump himself, launched by an. administration that took office under. the guise of no new wars. Remember this? We don't want to see wars. I don't want. to see wars. I was in no wars other than. we finished a war with ISIS and we. completed it 100% complete. Uh but I. don't want to see wars. I think it's so. horrible, so unnecessary, so costly in. terms of lives and money in that order. And and destroying these countries, you. know, you're destroying culture. When. you look at Ukraine, that would have. never happened if I were president. You. look at the October 7th attack on.

Israel. It would have never happened. But I will tell you, you're not going to. have a war with me and you're not going. to have a third world war with me. That. I can tell you. And yet now here we are. in the midst of just the latest war in. Trump's interminable desire to drop. bombs on foreign countries. And not only. does he refuse to acknowledge the. hypocrisy of the no new wars president. launching new wars, but where his. attention truly lies is in talking about. interior design like he's a host. on HGTV. I mean, hell, this is what. Trump said immediately afterwards. We.

all look good. >> [applause]. >> We all look good. We remember the. ceremonies. All great. And it's a great. It's a great honor. There's no greater. I tried for myself. I've tried. numerous times to get one by myself. I. keep getting shut down. They say, "You. can't do it, sir.". Bad protocol. Very bad. I would say the. worst. He can't not make it about himself. He. does not give a flying about anyone. not named Donald J. Trump even as he's. supposed to be honoring American.

military members. And when he's not. redesigning the White House, he's trying. to give himself the awards that he's. supposed to be presenting to others. And. that is a microcosm of the principal. problem. Trump ran as a populist, but. let's be clear, he is doing nothing for. regular people. He promised that he was. going to lower cost, that he was going. to protect earned benefits, that he was. going to end the Russia-Ukraine. conflict, that he was going to make IVF. free, that he was going to tackle. inflation. None of those things have. happened. Instead, he launched a trade. war that sent costs surging. He cut. Medicaid from 17 million Americans, sent.

Obamacare costs higher for 24 million. Americans, cut food assistance to the. hungriest people in this country. Inflation's currently rising and is. basically at the same rate as when Biden. left office. And of course, IVF isn't. free. Trump will say whatever he needs. to say to get elected. He will promise. to be a working-class champion, dress up. like a drive-thru worker, he'll curse. and mock and flip people off, a real. salt of the earth kind of guy. And then. the second he gets power, he is. surrounded by the wealthiest people in. America, giving them tax cuts, cutting.

deals for them, paying them back for. their campaign donations, protecting. them from being exposed in the Epstein. files, the exact elites that he ran an. entire ass campaign railing against are. now mainstays in this White House. To. call this a con would be generous. And. the reality is that Donald Trump is a. lame-duck president, but his party, the. rest of the GOP, ran on the same exact. platform he did. And those people are. not lame ducks. They are running for. re-election. And not a single. person in today's GOP stopped Trump's.

efforts to screw you over financially. No one uttered a word against his. tariffs. No one tried to be a check on. his reckless spending. Congress. basically handed over every ounce of its. autonomy to the executive branch as he. taxed Americans illegally to the tune of. over a hundred billion dollars. That is your money that Donald Trump. took with no intention of ever returning. it even though it was illegal to do so. And if you think for a second that he. cares, remember that this is what his. priority is. See that nice drape?
