OMG: Trump HUMILIATES himself on Air Force One
You would think that with everything. going on in the world, there is one. thing you probably don't want to say to. the press if you're Donald Trump. And. yet, leave it to him to say exactly. that. >> And that porch will be magnificent. looking in between the columns. And they no longer we took the stairs. out. that were in the south side and really. replaced them with. these stairs. So, you have an open porch. and you have the closed porch under the. columns. overlooking the Washington Monument, the. Jefferson Memorial,
and the Lincoln. Memorial / Monument. So, that's great. This is a. a view of the columns. as they are going to be made. They're. going to be hand carved and they're. beautiful. Top of the line. They'll be Corinthian, which is. considered the best, most beautiful by. far. Okay. >> What's your timeline on this thing? >> Timeline what? So, we're uh ahead of.
schedule and under budget. And all uh of this money all of the. money paid is are paid by. myself and donors and that's all donors. There's not one dime of. government money going into the. ballroom. Now, the military is building a a big. complex under the ballroom, which has. come out recently because of a stupid. lawsuit that was filed. But, the military is building a. massive complex under the ballroom. And that's under construction and we're.
doing very well. So, we're ahead of. schedule this part of it. And the. ballroom is actually becomes a shed for. what's being built under the military, including from drones, and including. from any other thing. The glass uh. on the windows, you see the big windows, the glass is uh extremely thick. It's. high-grade bulletproof glass. So, all of. the windows are bulletproof. Uh I think the Times wrote to you some. of the windows effect?" We have no fake. windows. They said they talked about a.
stairway on the south. We don't have a. stairway on the south. Uh, that was replaced a long time ago. But, this is a a view of it from the. north. And that's if you see it it fits. in with the White House. It's almost. a twin to the White House. It's uh, something we just wanted to pay. tribute to the White House. And so, that fits in beautifully. Can we. just see another one of that? >> When will the invite. >> Here's another one. Wait, excuse me. Wait. I thought I'd do this now cuz it's. easier. I'm so busy.
that I don't have time to do this. But, uh, I'm fighting wars and other. things. But, this is very important cuz this is. going to be. with us for a long time and it's going. to be I think it'll be the greatest. ballroom. anywhere in the world. This is highest. level. Same height, exact height of not higher, same height as the White House, exactly. the same height. And if you look, you have the White. House over here, you have this, and. that's a duplicate of the wall. So, it. pays total homage.
to the White House, which is I think. very important to me. >> Quote, "I'm so busy I don't have time to. do this." says Trump as he spends all of. his time doing this. And let's be clear. When he says that. he's got no time because he's so busy, quote, "fighting wars and other things,". those are things that he himself chose. to do. Not only did no one ask him for. war, but he himself swore up and down. that he would avoid it. >> going to start a war. I'm going to stop. wars. >> No more wars, no more disruptions. We.
will have prosperity and we will have. peace. >> Under Trump, we will have no more wars, no more disruptions, and we will have. prosperity and peace for all. >> I am the candidate of peace. I am peace. >> But, now that he's decided to plunge the. US into war, suddenly it's this big. burden that he's being forced to. shoulder. That's like me setting my own. house on fire and then complaining that. I'm so busy trying to figure out how to. rebuild it once it's burned down. But, I'll tell you what's most interesting. about this. It's not just that Donald.
Trump pretends he has zero time for. stuff like the ballroom when he clearly. has time for the ballroom. It's that he. always manages to find time for stuff. that helps him, but never manages to. find time for stuff that helps other. people, namely his own supporters. And. so, he ran as this populist champion. looking out for the little guy. He. talked about housing and rent and. groceries and eggs. Such a working-class. hero that he wanted you to know that he. felt your pain over a carton of eggs. And then he gets into office and what.
does he do? Launches a trade war that. raises the cost of everything. Then he. passes a tax cut that disproportionately. helps millionaires and billionaires. Then he cuts your healthcare and food. assistance, which go to the neediest. Americans. Then he launches a war in the. Middle East that costs about. $2 billion per day. Then he keeps that. war going long enough that oil surges. well past 100 bucks per barrel to the. point that gas prices start surging in. the United States. Then that same war. brings close to one of the world's most. important shipping lanes for oil, meaning this problem isn't going away.
anytime soon. All of that from the guy. who cosplayed as a populist. And yet, despite the fact that you're paying. more, that your healthcare is gutted, that your food assistance is cut, that. you're paying more for gas, that your. utility bills and grocery bills and gas. bills are higher, he's managed somehow to find time for. his priorities, to help himself. Somehow. has found time for this ballroom that. none of us will ever use. A $400 million. Qatari jet retrofitted to the tune of a.
billion dollars paid for by us that none. of us will ever use. Two Gulfstream jets. that cost $172 million that none of us. will ever use. Crypto dinners that have. led to him doubling his net worth that. none of us will ever use. Don't you all. see who he's helping here? It is. himself. He's heaping more gold and. wealth and opulence onto himself by the. day, and we're all paying for it. Meanwhile, what have Americans gotten. these last few months? They've gotten. their Medicaid gutted, ACA premiums have. doubled, farmers are utterly screwed,
everybody's watching costs on everyday. goods surge, inflation's rising, wages. are flat, job growth has vanished, the. manufacturing renaissance is. nonexistent, gas is going up. When. Donald Trump wants to get something. done, he gets it done, which is a point. again that I discussed with Fox's. Jessica Tarlov here. >> I'm throwing out the scraps because I. want to use you to test out what I'm. going to argue on the five in a few. minutes. Um it is related to the. ballroom because I spent a few days. really angry about the ballroom and, you. know, looking it up, like why should it.
be double the size of the White House? And this is the people's house, and if. you don't think of yourself as a renter, that's why you do such a big renovation. And it's pay-for-play and all this. stuff. But is it exactly what Trump and. Caroline Levitt and all the mouthpieces. want is for us to be melting down about. the ballroom and not talking about what. you were. brought up right off the bat, right? Like talking about how the farmers are. getting screwed, talk about the cattle. ranchers, talking about the tariffs, the. government shutdowns, saving people's. premiums. I'm workshopping it. What do.
you think? I'll do it a lot better on. air, but. >> I I think I think they're I think they. are the same story. I think that Donald. Trump, whatever he wants to get done, he. gets done, right? He doesn't view. anything as an obstacle to barreling. ahead and and accomplishing whatever his. goals are, be it the courts, be it. prosecutors, be it judges, be it. attorneys, be it the Democrats, be it. the law, be it the Constitution. He. doesn't care about any of those things. When when he wants to do something, he. does it. And the fact is that we're.
seeing where his priorities lie when he. builds himself a $200 million ballroom, when he buys, you know, uses taxpayer funds to to retrofit a a. million jet from Qatar, when he buys. Kristy Noem $170 million worth of. Gulfstreams. When he decks out the Oval. Office in in gold leafing. Like that. Those things get done because those are. his priorities, which underscore the. fact that what is not getting done is. because he just doesn't care. The fact. that farmers are getting screwed right. now is because he doesn't care about.
those farmers. The fact that Americans. are going to see health care get gutted, whether it's the 17 million Americans. who aren't going to get Medicaid, whether it's the 24 million Americans. going to see their ACA premiums double. or triple or quadruple. That's happening. because he doesn't care. Again, when he. wants to do something, like he's doing. with this ballroom, he finds a way to. get it done. So, everybody that's. getting screwed is getting screwed as. the direct result of the fact that he. does not care about these people. Like. when he offered up these populist sticks.
when he was on the campaign trail, it's. because he knew what to say, but he's. always been a fake populist. He's always. been out for himself. And the fact that. he is just adorning his office with gold. and surrounding himself with opulence. and doubling his net worth is all the. proof you need that he was perfectly. content to screw over these people, to. say whatever he needed to say, to sell. them a bill of goods, but now that he's. got what he needs from them, he's done. helping them. So, this is one of those. rare instances where Trump and his team. are actually doing a perfectly fine job. unto themselves broadcasting where their. priorities lie. They have so much oozing.
contempt for their voters that even. while they're screwing them over, which. would be bad enough unto itself, they're. actually bragging about the fact that. they don't care. They are bragging that. Donald Trump gets his precious ballroom. while he over everybody else who. was foolish enough to believe him as he. paraded himself around as this populist. So, the next time you think for even a. second that Trump cares about anyone but. himself, just remember. >> At this moment in time, of course, the. ballroom is really the president's main. priority.
>> Before you go, I'm very excited to. announce that I've written a new book. titled The Day After: How to wield power. in a post-Trump world. The book explores. what is, in my opinion, the single most. important theme that we're dealing with. in politics today and moving forward, power. Specifically, how Republicans. abuse it and how Democrats refuse to. wield it. This book explains how we got. here and more importantly, how we should. finally wield power if we're lucky. enough to get it back. It is the. blueprint for progressives who want to. do far more than just restore the status.
quo. Please pre-order today by following. the link on this screen. You can grab. yours from any of the major retailers. like Amazon and Barnes & Noble or stroll. down on the page and get a copy from an. independent bookstore closest to you. Thank so much for supporting independent. media.
