OMG: Trump commits Halloween CATASTROPHE | Another Day
As millions are set to go hungry, Donald. Trump takes a break from ripping apart. our democracy to focus on ripping apart. his bathroom. This is just another day. [Music]. Well, tonight is Halloween, a holiday. known for fear, terror, and frankly a. chance to show a little more cleavage. than normal. It's looking like November. 1st will be even scarier. One month into. the government shutdown and this morning. 42 million Americans on the doorstep of. a hunger crisis. SNAP federal food. assistance set to run out of money in.
less than 24 hours. Ooh, this has got. all the suspense of 24, except it's much. more depressing and entirely. preventable. Yes, Donald Trump and the. Republicans who control all three. branches of government are claiming to. be powerless when it comes to their. ability to do anything about the 42. million Americans who will see their. food assistance cut on November 1st. And. Trump is truly baffled by all of this, politically speaking. >> You know, largely when you talk about. SNAP, you're talking about largely. Democrats, but.
I'm president, I want to help everybody. I want to help Democrats and. Republicans, but when you're talking. about SNAP, if you look, it's largely. Democrats. They're hurting their own. people. Yeah, it's like Democrats are. giving themselves a wedgie, punching. themselves in the dick, and giving. themselves a swirly. Except for the fact. that it's not true. Louisiana, which. votes for Trump, has the highest poverty. rate in the country and also has one of. the highest SNAP participation rates. with 18.5% of residents receiving. benefits. Similarly, Oklahoma, West.
Virginia, and Alabama all have above. average SNAP participation and poverty. levels. So, who's poorer now, huh? That. didn't come out right. But look, that. was Trump mid-flight. The oxygen is thin. up there, and once Air Force One landed, even Trump realized the error of his. ways. >> It's their fault. Everything is their. fault. I stand corrected. But there are. some Republicans who are glad that this. debate over the Supplemental Nutrition. Assistance Program, or SNAP, has come to. the forefront. >> This is sort of shined a light on a.
program that, especially under the last. administration, has just become so. bloated, so broken, so dysfunctional, so. corrupt that it is astonishing when you. dig in. So, we're going to be talking a. lot more about SNAP reform. We've got a. lot of people listening now, which is. very, very helpful. And to take that. program back to its original intent of. helping those who are truly needy in our. communities, but uh but not to have a. massive welfare benefit where so many. people are taking advantage of it that. shouldn't be. Thank you. Finally, people.
taking on the greedy crooks who receive. those government handouts when they. really don't need them at all. And no, I'm not talking about the government. handouts to billionaires who pay less in. taxes than the rest of America, or the. government handouts to subsidize dirty. energy, or the government handouts to. tech companies. I'm talking about those. criminals who have a ceaseless hunger. for thievery. Oh, and also just hunger, because Republicans are depriving them. of food assistance. I mean, Republicans. in Congress, not the one in the Oval. Office. He is so.
resolutely focused on delivering for the. American people. All day, every day, 7 days a week, 20 hours a day, this is. what he is thinking about. I'm sorry, but there are not enough bulls in the. world to produce enough excrement to. match that level of Because as. it just so happens, on the day before 42. million Americans see their food. assistance disappear, the man who, according to Brooke Rollins, is so.
resolutely focused on helping his. citizens, went full blast on Truth. Social to showcase his renovations of. the Lincoln bathroom. And this. just kept posting. Trump is. so tone-deaf. He is the guy who would. have tweeted about how soft his landing. on his flight was on 9/11. I guess Trump. figured until you can see all the. angles, you can't know how truly. heartless he is. And sure, it might feel. like we're watching Trump take a giant. on 42 million Americans right now,
but apparently, thanks to the toilet. placement by the window, you can. literally watch him do it. And by the. way, you know who loves this bathroom. reno more than almost anyone? Carolyn. Levitt, who commented on Trump's post by. praising him for how elegant and. beautiful his bathroom transformation. was, and even added, "When I first. learned a toilet like that existed. inside the White House, I was. horrified." Horrified? Which just goes. to show that Carolyn Levitt and. Democrats aren't so dissimilar after. all. We both think that there is an.
outdated, unsightly fecal receptacle in. the White House. We just disagree on which one. But just. as Trump and the Republicans were. marveling over their new luxury latrine, we got this piece of breaking news. Two federal judges have ruled the. government must continue to fund SNAP. >> Wow, amazing news for millions of. Americans who truly needed this ruling. And frankly, I'll bet the administration. and congressional Republicans are. secretly pleased, too. Because think. about it, for weeks they've been saying. on a loop that providing SNAP benefits.
to low-income Americans is simply out of. their hands. That they wish they could. help, but it's actually against the law. to do anything about it. But now, two. federal judges have given them the gift. of political cover. They can provide. this much-needed relief to millions. without seemingly caving to the other. side. Or And so, what do we expect to happen. in the next few days? Appeals. Appeals? So, Republicans and. their legal teams who claim that their. hands are tied have somehow broken free.
of their restraints just long enough to. retie their own hands, march into court, and do whatever possible to get out of. feeding the hungry. I bet if that. doesn't work, they'll just resort to. playing dumb. "Oh, we thought you said. naps benefits, and we refuse to pay. low-income Americans to sleep all day.". You know, it takes some massive balls. for members of an administration helmed. by a billionaire to whine about being. forced to provide food assistance to. people in need. And yet. >> we're about to use emergency funds from. the Department of Agriculture because of.
a a liberal judge ruling that we. disagree in the law on. Uh but then we. don't have our emergency funds in case. we have a hurricane or we have an. emergency, a food emergency. >> Yes, we couldn't possibly use the. emergency funds now when there's no. funding and people who need to eat. because then we wouldn't have it for. some arbitrary future date when there is. no funding and people need to eat. Also, you can always count on Republicans to. ask the right questions. Where will we. ever find the money to pay for this? And.
look, I for one am grateful that they're. being the adults in the room here and. forcing us to keep our fiscal house in. order. Except, of course, when dear. leader wants to watch a military parade. on his birthday that'll cost taxpayers. $45 million. That's fine. Or when the. president feels like the needle is. slipping on his ostentatious meter and. he needs new $350 million ballroom. That's okay, too. Or when Mr. Hard Up. for Cash wants a new jet that's going to. cost a billion dollars to retrofit, we're not going to say no to that. Or when our incredibly impoverished. commander-in-chief hears that his.
Argentinian buddy Milei wants $40. billion to out-beef American cattle. ranchers, that one's a no-brainer. But. other than all that, can you even try to. be responsible here? The reality is that. I have spent all day pouring over the. data and crunching the numbers, and. every time I keep coming up with the. same answer, which is Donald Trump, his. administration, and the majority of the. Republican members of Congress are. I mean, what other answer is. there? If you locked scientists in a lab. and ordered them to construct a. president who could be more out of touch.
and cold-hearted, they would fail. And. not just because the real Donald Trump. cut their funding to the lowest rate in. decades. Trump's sycophants can try and. paint him as some benevolent leader. who's a philanthropist at his core, but. he is not that guy. When the leader of. the Republican Party will travel the. globe to secure billion-dollar real. estate deals for his family, host. oligarch-filled crypto dinners to add. more zeros to his bank account, and will. slap his name on a phone in the chance. that he can make a buck off of. hardworking Americans, it's pretty clear.
that they are completely full of. Luckily, Trump's got just the thing. [Music]. But second, the reality is that we are. now in a political environment where. this administration can lean on any of. the social media platforms to suppress. certain voices if they don't like. critical coverage. That means my. longevity here is in the hands of a few. tech billionaires who are already making.
it clear that they are willing to cater. to this administration. To that end, signing up for my newsletter is a way. for me to reach you directly if that. ever becomes necessary.
