New attorney general makes SHOCKING Epstein announcement | Another Day
Todd Blanche says moving forward, his. DOJ is done with the Epstein files. And. here I was thinking Trump's former. defense attorney would usher in a new. era of accountability. This is just. another day. >> [music]. >> With yesterday's sudden firing of Pam. Bondi, one can only assume that today. over at the Justice Department, there's. a lot of hugging and heartfelt goodbyes. taking place. >> MSNBC has new reporting that Bondi's. portrait has already been taken down. And you see it there. Thrown in the.
garbage. Oof. Brutal. But considering. the job Pam Bondi did, I feel like she. got off pretty easy. I could easily see. a world where one bathroom stall at the. DOJ has been ceremoniously transformed. into the portrait peeing station. But. with Bondi gone, the big question on. everybody's mind is what will happen. with the Epstein files? Now, the Epstein. files, uh you'd agree not handled well? No, and I don't First of all, I I I have. never heard President Trump say that the. Attorney General was anything that.
happened to her had anything to do with. the Epstein files. >> Yeah, we didn't hear it either. In fact, I think Donald Trump was overjoyed with. the way that Pam Bondi handled. everything. >> And what the Epstein is is a Democrat. hoax. >> This is a Democrat hoax. that never ends. >> Are you still talking about Jeffrey. Epstein? >> Trump may not have explicitly said he. thought Bondi was doing a terrible job. quashing the Epstein issue, but I think. we can all read between the lines. Saying Donald Trump isn't pissed at. Bondi is like saying, "No, Dad isn't. depressed at all. He just likes to.
unwind after work by downing a 12-pack. and silently staring out the window.". But if you're getting the sense that. Todd Blanche, Donald Trump's new interim. Attorney General, plans on putting the. Epstein files in the rearview, I think. you might be onto something. Unfortunately, like Trump, Blanche would. never say that explicitly. >> So, I think that to the extent that the. Epstein files was a part of the of the. past year of this Justice Department, it. will should not be a part of anything. going forward. Or maybe he will say that. explicitly. I mean, my god, the DOJ has.
released only 3 million of the 6 million. files so far, and Todd Blanche is. strutting around like it was a success, which doesn't work at any other job. I. haven't seen many construction crews. celebrating the fact that they built. half a bridge. Even from the way Blanche. refers to the Epstein files, you can. tell that this is going to be priority. number zero for him moving forward. So, look, the Epstein files has been a a. saga that's lasted for the entire for. the past year. And and what happened. when the president signed the. transparency act, is the Department of.
Justice has now released all the files. with respect to the Epstein saga. >> Uh the Epstein saga? This is not Lord of. the Rings. And if it was, the inside of. those books would probably look like. this. So, no, the Epstein files are not. a saga. They are millions of documents. illustrating how a billionaire rapist. and his accomplice girlfriend trafficked. and abused young girls for decades. And. this woman did everything she could to. protect the perpetrators instead of the. victims. And for that, she lost her job.
Pam Bondi was a loyal foot soldier who. did every single thing Trump asked of. her when it came to the Epstein files. and beyond. She oversaw massive firings. of career employees at the DOJ. She. aggressively investigated Trump's. political rivals. Under her leadership, after Kilmarx Garcia was wrongfully. deported, rather than correct that. error, her DOJ continued to engage in a. protracted legal battle. And under. Bondi's watch, her Justice Department. refused to investigate Minneapolis ICE. agent Jonathan Ross for the murder of. Renee Good. And as if all of that wasn't.
bad enough, from the moment she took. office, Pam Bondi took up residence. inside of Donald Trump's colon. >> He loves America. President Trump has. made America safe again. >> He is the most transparent president in. the nation's history. >> Some people choose. to tolerate crime, but you chose law and. order. President, your first 100 days. has far exceeded that of any other. presidency in this country. Ever. Ever.
Never seen anything like it. Thank you. >> President Trump, the greatest president. in American history. >> They fired her. How much more loyal of. an employee can you get? Does she need a. sneak into the Oval at night and polish. all of his gold? The reality is Donald. Trump and Todd Blanche believe that with. Pam Bondi out of the picture, the. scandal over the Epstein files will now. be out of the picture, too. That somehow. that's all it takes to wipe the slate. clean and for the whole world to forget. the cold-blooded cover-up that's going.
on for more than a year. Well, I hate to. burst your pedophile-protecting bubble, but you can't simply relocate someone. and hope that all of your problems go. away. Not that they haven't tried. >> Convicted sex predator Ghislaine Maxwell. was transferred from a federal prison in. Florida to the Bryan Federal. Correctional Facility in Texas outside. of Houston. Last week, Deputy Attorney. General Todd Blanche interviewed Maxwell. for two days. >> That's right. Two whole days, which was. apparently more than enough time for.
Todd Blanche to realize that the woman. who spent decades operating a sex. trafficking ring deserves some better. treatment. Whether it's Todd Blanche, Lee Zeldin, or knowing this president, Attorney General Brian Kilmeade, all the. same questions over the Epstein files. remain. And in a couple of weeks, the. House Oversight Committee, led by. Republican truth-seeker James Comer, will get to ask some of those questions. to Pam Bondi herself, because Bondi is. scheduled to sit for a deposition on. April 14th. And if you think just. because Bondi got fired that she won't.
have to feel the wrath of Comer's. questions, well then you might be right. A spokesperson for Comer said, quote, "Since Pam Bondi is no longer Attorney. General, Chairman Comer will speak with. Republican members and the Department of. Justice about the status of the. deposition subpoena and confer on next. steps." Which feels like a pretty casual. approach to justice coming from a man. who said this about the Epstein files. >> We sincerely want to get to the truth to. the American people and justice for the. survivors. That's what this. investigation's about. And again, I want. to repeat, our objective on the.
Oversight Committee is to get the truth. to the American people. The Oversight. Committee remains committed to. accountability and transparency for the. American people and for Epstein's. victims. We are about to witness just. how much James Comer really cares about. accountability for Epstein's victims. Because if he decides that there's no. need for Pam Bondi to testify on April. 14th, he will show himself to be just as. much of a fraud as Pam Bondi herself and. Kash Patel and Dan Bongino and Todd. Blanche. People who have stood before. the American people vowing to bring.
justice, but in the end use their. immense power and influence to protect. pedophiles, not the victims. So, these. people can try and plug up as many holes. with their fingers as they want, but. sooner or later, the information is. going to flow. And when it does, the. world will see them for the disgusting. and vile human beings that they are. They don't deserve to have power or. influence or authority in Washington, D.C. or anywhere else for that matter. As far as I'm concerned, there is only. one place they belong. >> Thrown in the garbage. >> Exactly. >> [music].
>> Before you go, I'm very excited to. announce that I've written a new book. titled The Day After: How to wield power. in a post-Trump world. The book explores. what is, in my opinion, the single most.
important theme that we're dealing with. in politics today and moving forward, power. Specifically, how Republicans. abuse it and how Democrats refuse to. wield it. This book explains how we got. here and, more importantly, how we. should finally wield power if we're. lucky enough to get it back. It is the. blueprint for progressives who want to. do far more than just restore the status. quo. Please pre-order today by following. the link on this screen.
