Melania BREAKS HER SILENCE on Epstein in SHOCKING press conference

The lies linking me with the disgraceful. Jeffrey Epstein. need to end today. The individuals lying about me. are devoid of ethical standards, humility, and respect. I do not object to their ignorance, but. rather. I reject their mean-spirited attempts. to defame my reputation.

I never been friends with Epstein. Donald and I were invited to the same. parties. as Epstein from time to time. since overlapping in social circles is. common in New York City. and Palm Beach. To be clear, I never had a relationship with Epstein. or his accomplice, Maxwell.

My email reply to Maxwell. cannot be. categorized as anything more. than casual correspondence. My polite reply to her email doesn't. amount to anything more. than a trivial note. I am not Epstein's victim. Epstein did not introduce me to Donald. Trump.

I met my husband by chance. at a New York City party in 1998. This initial encounter with my husband. is documented in a detail in my book, Melania. The first time I crossed paths with. Epstein was in the year 2000. at an event Donald and I attended. together. At the time, I had never met Epstein.

and had no knowledge. of his criminal undertakings. Numerous fake images. and statements about Epstein and me. have been circulating on social media. for years now. Be cautious about what you believe. These images and stories are completely. false.

I have never been legally accused or. convinced of a crime. in connection with Epstein sex. trafficking, abuse of minors, and other repulsive.

The false smears about me from. mean-spirited and politically motivated. individuals. and entities looking to cause damage to. my good name, to gain financially and. climb politically, must stop. So, that. was, first of all, weird, and second of. all, it seems that Melania may be. front-running some story that may be. coming out regarding some connection.

with Jeffrey Epstein, because otherwise, I cannot imagine why she would hold a. press conference to discuss a topic. that, frankly, was not even in the news. Like, I have the extreme misfortune of. having to follow all of the news all day. long. I can say with certainty that. Melania's connection with Jeffrey. Epstein is not something people are. talking about. Or at least they weren't. Now they will be, thanks to a press. conference demanding that people stop. talking about the thing that they were. not talking about before. But now that. Melania has bizarrely decided to thrust.

this issue into the spotlight, let's. talk about what she said. She discusses. her email reply to Ghislaine Maxwell. Here's that email. Dear G, how are you? Nice story about J E in New York. magazine. You look great on the picture. I know you are very busy flying all over. the world. How is Palm Beach? I cannot. wait to go down. Give me a call when you. are back in New York. Have a great time. Love, Melania. And you know what? When. she calls that a simple correspondence. between just acquaintances, sure, I can. buy that. But you know what it does? It. underscores the fact that while she was. smart enough or lucky enough not to.

correspond with these people as friends, her husband, the president of the United. States, was not. And so, in her effort. to absolve herself, all she's really. doing is highlighting the criminality of. her own husband. She also says that fake. images have been percolating on social. media linking her and Jeffrey Epstein. Now, I want to say unequivocally that if. there are images suggesting that she was. Epstein's victim, that should be. condemned. Full stop. Fake images are a. scourge on our political discourse and. our country, and we need real action to.

stop their spread and to hold those to. account who spread them. But, frankly, we don't need to see fake images to know. that Melania has some connection with. Jeffrey Epstein when real images like. this one exist. And this. And this. And this. Now, I won't opine on whether she was. friends or merely acquaintances with. Epstein and Maxwell since I think people. can make up their own minds on that, but. let's not pretend that the only images. linking them together are the fake ones. But nothing was more egregious than this.

comment. Now is the time for Congress to. act. Epstein was not alone. Several prominent male executives. resigned from their powerful positions. after this matter became widely. politicized. Of course, this doesn't amount to guilt, but we still must work openly and. transparently to uncover the truth.

I call on Congress to provide the women. who have been victimized by Epstein with. a public hearing specifically centered. around the survivors. Give these victims their opportunity to. testify under oath in front of Congress. with the power of sworn testimony. Each and every woman. should have her day to tell her story in. public if she wishes,

and then her testimony should be. permanently entered. into the congressional record. Then, and only then, we will the truth. Thank you. Now is the time for Congress to act. Um. I'm sorry, but Congress did act. They. passed the Epstein Files Transparency. Act, the law that the Department of. Justice, under your husband's purview,

is violating and has been violating for. 4 months. Congress did its job, and it. did it in defiance of Donald Trump, who. summoned Lauren Boebert to the situation. room to get her to remove her name from. the discharge petition, forcing this. bill to the floor for a vote. It did it. in defiance of Donald Trump, whose. entire friendship with Marjorie Taylor. Greene was destroyed over this exact. issue. It did it in defiance of Donald. Trump, who is trying to get Thomas. Massie out of Congress altogether for. co-sponsoring this legislation. Congress. doesn't need to act because they did.

act. The executive branch, under Donald. Trump, needs to act and stop suppressing. accountability for Epstein's accomplices. and justice for his victims. Perhaps, instead of a press conference to. America, Melania could just pop over to. the separate bedroom that Trump sleeps. in and let him know. But you got to love this moment right. here. I am not Epstein's victim. Epstein did not introduce me to Donald. Trump. I met my husband by chance.

And look, again, no. genius when it comes to PR, but I feel. like a pretty good rule of thumb is not. to follow up the sentence, "I am not. Epstein's victim." with the sentence, "This initial encounter is documented in. my book, Melania." If this family could. do anything without trying to make money. in the process, you would be able to. knock me over with a light gust of wind.

Now, taking a step back here, I think. what's interesting is what Melania. doesn't say. Namely that while she had. no knowledge of Epstein's crimes, that. she wasn't friends with Epstein and. Maxwell, that she has no link to them, conspicuously absent is any mention of. her husband. And that's because he did. know them. He was friends with them, and. there are very clear links. So, I feel. for her if she's being found guilty by. association, but instead of using her. voice and her platform to hawk her book, she might want to use her voice to. condemn the guy who she's married to for.

doing all of the things that she's. trying to distance herself from. Just, you know, for starters. In the meantime, the one silver lining here is that if. Melania wants to add her name to the. chorus of voices calling for. accountability and transparency, more. power to her. But again, perhaps she can. be most effective by telling the one. person who's preventing that. accountability to stop standing in the. way, and that would be her very own. husband.
