LOSS: Trump FLIPS OUT over CRUSHING LEGAL DEFEAT
Another court loss means another. meltdown from the manchild of a. president who throws a tantrum if ever. he doesn't get his way. Now, you'll. remember that Trump's name was forced. off the Kennedy Center, a move which. Trump is so salty about, he still to. this day refuses to remove the tarp. covering the facade without his name on. it. Well, apparently he couldn't handle. this hit to his precious ego because. then Trump's team went back into court. with, I you not, 10 options to get. Trump's name etched into the Kennedy.
Center. Anyway, options like renovation. and endowment overseen by President. Donald J. Trump and the Trump Kennedy. Center Fund, renovation, restoration, and endowment overseen by President. Donald J. Trump and the Trump Kennedy. Center Fund with gratitude for support. from President Donald J. Trump and the. Trump Kennedy Center Fund. And the list. goes on and on and on. I wish I was as. motivated to do literally anything as. Donald Trump is to get his name on the. outside of that building, which I should.
remind everybody is a memorial to a. different person. This is not entirely. different from needing to put your name. on somebody else's gravestone. Sure, they might have died, but what's not. dead is Donald Trump's desire to ensure. that everyone everywhere is always. talking about him, him, and him. As he. made abundantly clear today when he took. to social writing, the board of the. Kennedy Center today agreed almost. unanimously to close the building for. safety reasons and so that it can begin. the process of reconstruction. The.
closing will take place immediately. However, the renovation and. reconstruction, which is a very large. and complex job, cannot begin until such. time as the DC Circuit rules on the. board's approved name. If the ruling is. a negative one, which it should not be, and is not overturned by the US Supreme. Court, the reconstruction and the. renovation of the Kennedy Center will. not take place. The attorneys from the. DOJ will ask for an expedited appeal. In. the meantime, $17 million raised by. President Trump has been put into the. Kennedy Center account to keep it. afloat. Thank you for your attention to.
this matter, President Donald J. Trump. In other words, Trump has decided. unilaterally that if he can't plaster. his name onto a building that he is not. legally allowed to name after himself, then it simply won't be possible to ever. reopen it. Now, it strikes me as a bit. strange that the only bottleneck here. seems to be Trump's name and that other. than that, everything is in place to. continue the renovation. It's almost. like all of this confusion and chaos is. the result of one person's insatiable.
desire to make himself the center of. attention. And to that point, here's. Norm Eisen, who fought and beat Trump in. court on this issue. What he's trying to. do now is. argue. that the Kennedy Center uh is in dire. straits and the only way to resuscitate. it is if we put his name on the building. because that's the only thing that will. motivate him not to close the Kennedy. Center. Now, here's everything that's.
wrong with that logic. First of all, the. courts have established. federal law does not allow Donald. Trump's name to be on the building. Secondly, whatever financial troubles. the Kennedy Center is facing is because. when HE PUT HIS NAME on the building, artists and audiences alike fled in. droves. Third, he's sitting on $250. million that has been appropriated by.
Congress to repair the Kennedy Center. Get on with it. You don't have to close. the Kennedy Center to do that. The money. is there and you can work in phases. You. close uh a piece, you create a walkound, you leave the rest open. So, it it's. just silly. They've let the Kennedy. Center open uh previously to do repairs. They had a plan to do this phased repair.
previously and that's what they should. go back to. But he's just interested in. getting his name on the building. And. look, I know that a lot of you are. thinking to yourselves, who cares about. this? And to that, I would say that's. the thing. Trump does, but he shouldn't. because health care is cut, costs are. surging, gas is at a record high, war is. raging in the Middle East, and the. Epstein files are still being. suppressed. And yet, all the while, this. president and his party are focused on. this, slapping his name onto the.
outside of a memorial for a dead. president. Seriously? And the answer, sadly, is yes. That's what he cares. about. This guy swore up and down that. he would deliver for the forgotten. American. And yet he is showing you. where his priorities actually lie. Don't. listen to what they say. Watch what they. do. I asked Norm what it was about the. Kennedy Center that Trump has this. insatiable desire to get his name onto. the building. Here's what he had to say. Norm, what is it that is driving him.
right? I mean, look, I I know it's it's. impossible to ask you to get inside of. his head, but this seems like an an. egregious action, even by his own. standards, that he would spend all of. this time, all of these resources, all. of this energy trying to get his name. etched into this building. What is it. about the Kennedy Center that is just. driving this guy to the ends of the. earth? [laughter]. you know, um. it would take somebody with a degree in.
abnormal. psychology and abnormal political. science to diagnose the twisted logic of. Donald Trump. It is a ruinous. venture. uh to attempt to do this because it just. highlights his corruption. He's not only. attempting to steal vast sums from the. American people like this $1.776.
million slush fund for his cronies and. insurrectionists. and those associated with him that we. stopped. We stopped that. Also, he's. trying to take an entire priceless. memorial. And the more he insists on. putting his name on it, the more the. American people notice his corruption. You can see very close clearly in polls.
that a super majority of the American. people, more than twothirds of the. American people, including his own. supporters who put him there to drain. the swamp, uh they didn't think it he he. it meant fill the swamp with cash for. himself and his cronies are sick of. this. The people are sick of his. corruption, but he just keeps doubling. down. It's a suicide mission. Again, Trump is focused on one person, and it's. not the forgotten American. It's not the.
single mom trying to put food on the. table. It's not the bluecollar worker. struggling to afford health care. It is. himself. It is surrounding himself with. gold. It's plastering his name on. buildings, erecting monuments to. himself. Trump views his presidency as a. way for Americans to serve him, not the. other way around. And the rest of his. party is 100% fine with it. Will not. lift a finger to stop him. If only he. could put a fraction of the energy into. anyone else that he puts into himself, but hell would probably freeze over.
faster than that would happen. [music]. Before you go, one quick request. It's. become clear to me that this White House. is dead set on preventing me from. reaching any audience. Trump's decision. to put me as the first name on his. enemies list is a testament to that. But. it didn't quiet down then, and I won't. do it now.
